I am a very objective person. If you see a negative review from someone else, assume it to be probably warranted. With that said, my experience with Frank and his shop has been excellent. He worked on my 2000 V40, he did a timing belt job. While working on my car he spotted another issue. I didnt feel like he was trying to up-sell me. I felt like he was honest, approachable and had sufficient knowledge of his craft. My car has 300,000 miles on it, so I know a thing or two about car maintenance. I highly recommend him. As with any business, approach with caution and do not dismiss those with negative reviews. He has my vote of confidence; until they give me a reason to modify this review.

My 91 Mercedes was with Frankfurt Foreign Automotive for almost 7 weeks to repair a leak from the transmission seal, and to diagnose a running rich condition with the Bosch CIS system. Picked up the car and the transmission is still leaking and the car runs worse than when I brought it in for service.I called and left a message for someone to call be back, and no one has returned my call. I also sent an email with photos and no one has responded.The pictures show the transmission fluid leak on my garage floor.7 weeks and the car wasnt repaired, and runs worse. I paid what I was asked to pay without hesitation and I now see this place has no idea how to fix a classic Mercedes.

I have been going to Frankfurt’s for the last 6 years. They have always been very honest, trustworthy, reasonable, and done amazing work. Everyone there is very nice. Frank is a certified BMW mechanic and has worked on BMWs for over 25 years. I highly recommend this shop and refer people to their shop all the time. Best in the Cherokee county and surrounding areas.

Bought my first BMW about a month ago. Dealership couldnt give me repair records, so I took the car here for an oil change and once over. Super nice. Great service. He took the time to look over the extended warranty and recommend whether I should keep it. Ill definitely be bringing my car here!

Frank is the best, i am a loyal customer. The other day my check coolant light came on my CLA. For some reason the coolant reservoir cap was seized and I couldn’t remove it to fill. I called Frank early on Monday morn and he said to bring it in. He removed it with a wrench, clean the threading, and filled the coolant to correct level. He did this in minutes and wouldn’t take a dime from me. This man runs an honest, family business and really cares about his customers. It is so hard these days to find people you can trust, and I’m lucky to have found Frank!

Paid over $2600 for a repair that was never completed! I was a customer for years. I’m shocked and disappointed at the treatment I received. Frank refused to answer my calls and also left me with a $200 car rental fee bill. He insisted my car was fully repaired although I couldn’t even pass an emissions inspections. He relayed a message for me to go to the Global dealership to get the repair completed but not to mention his shop did any work! What a way to treat a loyal customer! Too bad zero stars is not an option! Please don’t be fool by that passive voice and demeanor!

Ive brought my audi to Frank on multiple occasions and he and his employees are always a pleasure to deal with. Their knowledge and skill working with European cars is unmatched anywhere else. Save yourself the time and money of going to a dealership and go to Frankfurt instead!

I am a professional pilot and licensed aircraft mechanic and what maintenance work I don’t perform myself, I entrust to Frank and his team of highly skilled professionals. The prices are extremely reasonable—skip the high priced dealer service department and go see Frank!

I taken my 03 325 to Frank for a few years now and he has been nothing short of super. Very honest, reasonable prices, great service. Hes been working on BMW since the 80s and it shows. Couldnt recommend Frank and his shop more.

Used for first time this week on my MB S550. Had bad battery. Called Frank and he suggested I bring to him to check out. Gave me estimate on new battery. I dropped it off. He sent email later to say battery was definitely bad. Ordered one from MB. Told me he would call when it was delivered. A few hours later he called and said MB delivered battery and would only take a few minutes to install. Picked it up and was exactly what Frank had estimated. 1/2 the cost of a MB dealer. Superb customer service that is rare today. Side note, I had called Marietta MB the day before and they never returned by call. Frank will now service my Mercedes.

Frank and the guys at the shop are a great bunch to work with. I found their shop last year and started bringing in my car for normal maintenance and some repairs. My BMW X5 is a diesel so its a little more rare but good to know they have great knowledge of the vehicles and the pricing is good so I keep coming back. If you really want someone who will do you right, they are a great shop to take your car to.

Fast, honesty

Great shop for BMW repair in Woodstock! This shop is the only place I let work on my F10 M5, and they keep it running like a rocket. This week Franks guys did a suspension overhaul with new struts. My car handles like brand new.Also have to say they introduced me to LiquiMoly motor oil which is a German synthetic oil. My mileage increased by about .5 miles - doesnt seem like much but if you get an oil change why not get better mileage too? Great car repair shop, and one that I highly recommend.

Fair, honest service. not at all what I expected when I bought in my 33 year old Porsche. Frank is a man of his word, and I would recommend him to anyone I know. Thank you Frank!

Cant give 0 stars.. my car left there with less parts then when i brought it there.. the engine cover was missing... the hydraulic arm to hold the hood open was gone and then the clips that hold on my airbox all missing.. i was told straight to my face that my car never had an engine cover... the thread holes were still perfectly cleaned out.. franks response.. oh we clean this stuff. oh but you dont clean all the other oil that was all around the top of the engine.. just the thread holes huh?.. He just thinks everyone is ignorant and he can just tell you whatever he wants to. funny that i get home and pop the hood and find the loose bolts sitting in the corner... Everything is just a run around.. did i mention a few hour repair took months? and the price we agreed upon was then raised when it came time to pick up the car.. And frank became HEATED and angry arguing about the price. just all around a bad experience What other surprises will i encounter over time?

I had an old 1993 Volvo Wagon 240 that I thought had blown the transmission.I had it towed to Frankfurt’s Automotive and they looked at it and test drove it. It had to have taken a few hours. Frank called me with good news: there were no problems.But what made it even better was that Frank didn’t charge for the time he spent on the car. Most mechanics would have charged a service fee, but not Frank.My experience was incredible and I will make him my exclusive mechanic of choice and will definitely refer anyone having car trouble to his shop.THANKS FRANK !!

Customer Service Fail. I arranged to bring my car down for a quote on some significant work (likely $2000-$3000). He asked me to give him an hour lead time the next day, so he could have a bay open for me. Great.After giving them a call the next day, I brought my car down and set everything up. He said he would have a quote for me the next day. Great.After 2.5 days of hearing nothing, I give them a call. No answer, so I leave a message about noon. No return call.I call back on Monday morning to ask status to find out that it was never even put up on the lift. Excuse me?. Them: Yeah, we havent looked at it yet (said like it was a ridiculous expectation after I was told 1 day).Obviously frustrated, I started saying that it was ridiculous that they had it for over 3 days when they told me theyd look at it within 1 day, but I didnt get to finish. He cut me off with a very rude tone, Dont argue with me, Ill look at it today.Nope, youre not going to be touching my car.Listen, things get busy, and I can understand that, but I made an appointment for you to take a look at my car 10am Thursday, with a comment that youd have a quote to me no later than the next day. After over 3 days of waiting with no communication, do not get mad at me when I call you on it.

Friendly and Honest, but I didnt like the last minute end of the day rush diagnostic I received . I have no mechanical experience working on Mercedes so I decided to take it to the professionals.I explained in detail of all the diagnostic procedures I had already performed myself, including the trouble codes I was getting with a generic Walmart code reader. My conclusion was a bad ECM. I was told in all likelihood it was not the ECM, and that they wanted to perform the same exact procedures I had already performed to determine the problem.I decided to just trust myself and buy an ECM, which turns out to be the correct move, now my car runs great. Im sure the mechanics at Frankfurt are very knowledgeable, but I felt they drop the ball on on this one. I should not be able to do a better Diagnostics than the professionals especially when I have no prior knowledge of the vehicle.....

This review is for Franks new shop. Autobahn was good but Franks new shop is much better. Its easier to get to from where I live in south Cobb.I drive from Smyrna to Woodstock just to have Frank work on my bimmer convertible. He has worked on my car for about three years and knows my car very well. Frank charges a fair price for his work and Ill continue to go to his shop for my car.

I’ve had my BMW going on 6 years now, it’s been hard trying to find a good mechanic that specializes in my car, I found Frankfurt automotive online 2 years ago, Frank has been the most reliable, dependable and TRUSTWORTHY Mechanic I’ve ever came across . I’ve probably been in every tough situation with my car you could think of, his experience and knowledge on German cars is absolutely Amazing !!! I brought my car to United BMW in Alpharetta a year ago to have an issue resolved, but their asses couldn’t fix my car after paying for a diagnostic and having all types of test done to the car, it still stalled Long story short frank and Charlie called BMW of Alpharetta, help the suckers with the Diagnostic, once they found the issue, we’ll should I say FRANK found, I politely had my car towed back to Frankfurt automotive to have my car repaired .

As a single mom with no mechanical knowledge, finding an auto shop I can trust is a nerve-wracking task. But Frank and his team have gone above and beyond to be helpful and honest while repairing and maintaining my vehicles. He has repaired my teenage sons 93 Subaru and saved me money by only doing what was necessary to keep an old car running. He could have ran up the bill on that car so easily. I just got an 04 Honda Odyssey and Frank looked it over for me and let me know what needed to be repaired right now and what could wait for a few months. I was concerned at first that taking my car to a shop that specializes in BMWs may be way out of my price range, but Frank has worked on my modest vehicles for modest prices. I cannot say enough good things about this shop!

They specialize in BMW repair, and haveworked on my car for over 10 years. Its a good idea to get an appointment for service work. Prices are a fraction of a dealership, and the owner is a certified BMW Master Mechanic.Ive seen other brands in their shop so I know they also work on Mercedes Benz, Audi, and Volkwagen automobiles.

Had a 60,000 mile service on my 2006 Porsche 911. Frank and his team did a great job and priced well below the dealer.

Ive followed Frank from his last shop (maybe ten years ago)...cant believe how time flies. Im a native Atlantan, so Franks northeastern accent and approach seemed awfully abrupt at first, but Im glad we got past it. His shop has been a go to for various cars over the years. Between the wife and I, plus four kids, weve had lots of older BMWs, MBs and such, and Frank has been a great resource. Not sure what has happened with him, and hope it all works out...I had several really good experiences, and then the last one was a total disaster...like car in the shop for weeks, nothing done and no communication disaster. Wish him well though.

Frank does a great job and is one of the last real neighborhood mechanics around. Hes worked on my modern sportscars from Mercedes as well as my 67 camaro musclecar, and always provides a fair, fast service without ego. Id recommend him to anyone.
