Super friendly staff

I went into the store yesterday inquiring about the playstation 5 because i saw the showcase i spoke to a tall employee. He quickly dealt with me informing me to check back tomorrow at 10:30 am when they open at noon mind you this was right around the time every retailer jumped the gun. I then had to go to work and discovered almost all the retailer sold out. I have tried calling many times all the message says is to call back later. Called the woodhaven location quickly picked up. Sucks that its the closest location near me. I will gladly travel the extra distance to woodhaven.

Small place with lots of games and gaming gear. Staff here is always helpful and friendly. Great little store!

Decent selection of games, customer service is usually good

Items list new & preowned prices- sale going on b2g1 on preowned. Picked out 3 games & rang up as full price new. When I ssid I wanted the preowned, I was told they dont gave any at all for Nintendo Switch. So why have preowned price on them?? Full price? Get them cheaper online or on sale elsewhere.

Service has went wayyy downhill the past year and a half. I dont know if its the new management but I tried calling too see if a product was in and they answer the phone literally 1 time out of 20. Definitely now renewing my membership or pre ordering through that store anymore

My experiences at this specific GameStop have always been pleasant. Today, for instance, I had a pleasant discussion with one of the employees about GameStops no-fee layaway program. Next time I go into the store Ill update this post with the employees name. I highly recommend this location.

I gave gamestop my PlayStation Vr worth $700, they gave me $6 in return. I got scammed. The to the point I even talked about it to the manager. He was sympathetic but told me he was just doing his job. So, then I talked to the warranty rep and she told me all was good. And they actually just made me go to another store to retrieve my video card that was being stolen by my son. Then a week later they sold the system, which just shows how broken warranty exchanges are at local stores. Oh and I want my money back.I cant just take my money back and the store needs to go. It was a lot of fun until then.

Good if youre a elite member but these ppl cant seem to answer a phone called trying to get them to hold a game for me and they never answered the phone so when I got there I said to guy working how come you didnt answer the phone he pick it up and said its dead... I thought to myself it didnt dawn on you that something was wrong with the phone cause it hasnt rung since you been here smh... Got the game though

I have receipts 4 games we pre-ordered at this store months ago. When covid 19 hit, the store closed for a few weeks leaving g me unable to pick up these games when they were available. Other gamestops couldnt honor my receipts either for whatever reason. I was really frustrated when the store finally opened and they told me they could not give me a refund 4 month or so longer until they start dealing with cash again. I didnt want to wait any longer 4 that money because I live check to check and had already repurchased this game somewhere else. Karissa was calm and helpful even though I was frustrated and losing my cool. She handled my issues and got me the heck out of there! Appreciate all her efforts- she is a very good employee to deal with things like this!

I still have an Xbox 360 so I shopped online so I had an idea what I wanted. When I got to the store the staff pointed out that the games were 4 for $10. So I got a couple more than I expected to be able to buy because the staff was very helpful.

Great GameStop, kind and atentative staff. Leave you to do your business and arent pushy with the power up sign up. Other than that, its a GameStop. This ones clean and well maintained.

Great store and staff! They offer a wide selection of games (on multiple platforms) for discounted prices when compared to their competitors. I also bought a couple of used HDMI cables here a few years back and theyre still working great to this day!

Staff there is awesome! Theyre there to help, but not breathing down your neck! I always go to look at funko pops and its nice to be able to breathe while you search the huge selection! My go to Gamestop for sure!

The store is cluttered with a bunch of random nick-nacks and cheap game inspired clothing and toys that block the walk way so its very crowded, and there is no clear markers for the line so people just stand all over and thats the waiting line. If you need a game or to trade one in, its good. Just dont expect to be in and out and the 5x Ive been here this month Ive waiting over 15 minutes in line before I got helped. Cashiers are nice, thats the best part of the store.

The guys at game stop are really helpful, I nearly disparaged the name of all gamer girls by accidentally buying a case for a switch lite instead of a regular switch !!! But the guys were really helpful and showed me where the correct cases are and didnt make me feel like I ruined all of gamer girls reputations across the globe.

The worst! The chubby Samoan looking guy didnt know his inventory. And lacked basic conversation skills. Not at one time did he make eye contact with me. And the worst thing of all. He denied a 4 year old boy the use of the bathroom. We had to run across the parking lot to chicken shack. This store is in need of adult management. Also they place game cases out on the racks that are not out. There is nothing to tell the customer that the game is not available. The only way of knowing is to take it to the counter and and have the teen suck his teeth and say (like this game isnt even out) and then look at you as if your supposed to know.

Best place to go if you want games pre owned or just new games and the best part is the game consoles

Came in from out of town, on a saturday may 18th to pick up an online order for the Attack on Titan backpack, came out with a crush on Karissa. She was friendly and very knowledgeable about video games. The other girl was great too. The only bad thing about this store is that I live 30 miles away from it. Karissa will you marry me? Im eating noodles.

Rude and unknowledgeable. I know very little about gaming systems. I was the only customer in the store with two employees. They woman working did not even look up when she greeted me. I was looking for games for Nintendo switch and she said I could look over there, but she didnt know. The man working did not even look my way once. I ended up going to the store on Eureka road and they were very helpful.

It’s total BullS*** when I call a store about a game they said they have in stock and then when I get to the store within thirty minutes they don’t have it and then tell me I’d have to drive super far to another store that closes within thirty minutes. Thanks for having rude employees who do not care about my time, I’ll buy things elsewhere before I waste time driving back to a store with no consideration for my time. The girl with the squeaky voice in the Dr. who costumes was really condescending when telling the employees to check other stores.

Went in to buy an Xbox one X. Got a pretty good deal considering what I was trading in. Brought me the Xbox. I said to the cashier the box is banged up, am I going to have any problems? She said no. Took it home, played it and had display issues. Went to return it, wasted time, they looked irritated that I came back. Shouldnt have tried to sell me a lemon in the first place. I wont be returning here again.

I always loved Gamestop. But they sell used game for a higher price than they should. They pay someone $10 and pop in on the shelf for around $52 (all depends on game). I would reccomend this place if used was atleast $15 less than new price. Instead I reccomend ebay if you want a used game.Sorry gamestop. But your golden age is long gone and will never return.However!!! Even after all that, I do personally love shopping at this particular gamestop location. The staff are great! I get pops, consoles, and some new games here.

Disappointed that the prices on the used games were not what I was charged. I didnt realize it until after I was home and reviewed the receipt because it didnt seem right. Unusual that they wont carry accessories for a system that they just sold at Christmas time in January.

I bought a pre-owned Xbox one controller, which was messed up I took it back and got another one, which didnt turn on. I took that one back and payed a few dollars more for the Xbox One S controller, works perfectly and great customer service. Thank you GameStop, for all the help you have provided.

You all are very terrible at customer satisfaction. I will be pushing this matter forward. Letting the rest of your customers know and to be aware how rude and and careless that GameStop is when it comes to their paying customers. I paid for a product in full and was not able to receive the product on the day of release. Then I was forced to driving town trying to find someone at a gamestop to help me. I am very unsatisfied with Gamestop and currently will be taking my business else where and I will surely spread the word of how poorly GameStop cares about its customers.I was going to the Game Stop store at 17124 Fort St, Riverview, MI 48193 to pick up my copy of For Honor the gold edition game for the xbox1. I get to the store to see that it was a sign on the door saying closed while under maintenance. I find this very unprofessional and the fact that gamestop is very aware of what titles are coming out and the dates that these titles are being release and for this gamestop store to not give its customers a heads up that the games they have on reserved that they will not be able to pick up their PAID copy of the game. I myself as a faithful customer wasnt notified that the store was going to be close... this is not acceptable. I believe this could of been way better planned out if someone would only use their head. I am very unhappy and unsatisfied that I couldnt get my paid game and that I wasnt notified that I wasnt going to receive the game the day of release.
