I have a specialty vehicle, a Mitsubishi Jeep, and no one was able to order a full soft top for me with doors. I contacted Collins Brothers back in January and they told me that it would probably be around April 15th until it came in. It actually came in May which was a little bit later but I already knew what to expect since Im importing for a JDM vehicle. The fact that they were able to get it when no one else could made me extremely happy because now I can drive my Jeep in the rain

I ordered a T177 Gearbox countershaft from these guys last year around September, after about 2 months an Empty box arrived, I emailed ALL their email contacts accounts total of 3 times and received absolutely no reply, No refund, No countershaft. Apparently if Collins Brothers mess something up, they just ignore you and hope the problem goes away. Cheers guys thanks for the help and thanks for replying to my emails.....Is what I would say if you actually did any of those things. If you can go into their store and buy over the counter theyre probably great, If youre an International Buyer i would stay well clear of these guys.

Great place to buy parts or a Jeep, friendly staff, and even got to meet the owner who was working right up to closing time, Dennis runs a solid business that from what I could see all of the employees were happy, which translates to quality work and integrity and to me that says thats where I want to spend my money when purchasing parts or a new to me Jeep!

I was really surprised when I saw good reviews but did not get any good service!! As soon as I walked in he was just doing what he was doing and ignored me! I just had a question about the hood lock that I purchased from Amazon for my 2017 Wrangler to see if they can instal if for me. Finally I walked to him!! He even did not move his head and was just talking and doing his stuff! Very rude and ignorant! I was really disappointed! Thank you for your good service 😐!

It wasnt something they had listed in inventory so they sent it to me free plus they didnt even ask for a postage fee. Check out their website and consider them first. You wont be disappointed

The show depicts Collins Bros as if they are the foremost authority on Jeeps and Jeep restorations. In our world today, a lot of things are not always what they appear. I can confirm that these folks are absolutely as advertised. The shops skill, care and craftmanship go well beyond Dennis Collinss encyclopedia of Jeep knowledge. Behind Dennis is a team of exceptionally skilled human beings. Kevin McCarthy, the service manager, was my primary point of contact during my Jeeps restoration. Kevin is a wonderful guy and would be aptly described as a passionate advocate for his craft.I delivered my 1977 CJ-5 to Kevin in July. As promised, he looked it over within two weeks and provided me a detailed report on the work that needed to be done mechanically; his recommendations on the cosmetics; and some options he had found based on my personal requests. The estimate was thorough, it was detailed, and Kevin took the time to walk me through it answering each and every one of my questions. During the process, there were several things discovered that were unexpected. Kevin was prompt to provide me the information, careful to give me options, and fair on the cost of the solutions. He was also confident to always give me guidance on what he would do if it were his.I was able to watch the restoration evolve via weekly episodes of Coffee Walk. From there, I could email Kevin with any questions or concerns. He was always very prompt to respond, and even more prompt in resolving the issues/questions/concerns. I am dissatisfied with my attempts to do business with Collins Bros Jeep. In the last two days I have called 5 times. It was my desire to purchase an OEM hood for a 2015 Rubicon. I spoke with two different individuals and explained that a coworker of mine was from the local area near Wylie and would be in town for a couple days and that I would like to pay for the hood and have my friend pick it up while he was there. Both individuals assured me that would be perfectly acceptable and easy. Both took down my name, number, and the color of hood I was looking for. They both stated that they would check availability of the particular color and call me back. I waited over 4 hours after speaking with the first individual (whose name I do not remember) and I finally called back and spoke with a man named Ricky, to whom I repeated my story. Neither individual ever returned my call. The next day I called again twice, and sat on hold in the parts dept for several minutes each time. No one ever answered. This couldve been an easy, painless transaction, but the opportunity has been lost now due to poor customer service. I will be looking for said hood elsewhere. Good day.

My wife and I stopped in to purchase a soft top for our 83 Scrambler, they didn’t have stock and would not have it in before we came back to Canada. So instead they refereed us to a competitor who had 2 in stock even printing us off directions to the destination. What great customer service. Thanks guys

The transaction could not have gone any better. From initial contact to final sale and follow up these guys were awesome. I shopped around DFW Jeep dealerships before finally coming here. I walked in, drove a jeep, and bought it 15 minutes later. Their prices were far better than all the dealerships. No high pressure salesman at all. Customer service was unbelievable.I cant say enough how good my experience was with these people. Easiest car buying process I have ever been through. I will recommend them to everyone I know for a Jeep or modifications.

I bought a used hard top for my sons LJ. It was advertised as being in good condition. When I got there we found a small amount of damage to the top. They fixed the damage and painted the top for the same price. While it was a little frustrating to make two trips, I was very happy that they made it right with no hesitation. We need more places like this!

I purchased an 07 JK from a couple in town who had an AEV 2.5 suspension kit installed by Collin Bros. I discovered that Collin Bros had installed the rear track bar backwards, causing the track bar to hit against the rear differential. I order and installed a new one. Mistakes happen, but it takes a lot of carelessness for multiple people to not notice an issue like that, and I would assume they have a separate mechanic perform the post work inspection. I can only speak to the labor theyve done on the Jeep, nothing else. I wouldnt recommend having them do work on your Jeep, there are better options in the Dallas area.

Spoke to Kevin (Svc Mgr) on Monday about gears. At his request I dropped it off ASAP. On Tuesday a.m. December 17th I dropped my Jeep off for a standard Re-gear. I went to pickup Wednesday evening the 18th. Was told was test driven but as soon as I drove off lot the rear slinger/protector on yoke was grinding on diff housing. Left Jeep overnight til 19th to resolve. Came in am thursday 19th to test drive and discovered a brake pull I didn’t have to the RF side. Left Jeep again. Returned that afternoon to discover a brake pad clip fell off RF during the operation. Resolved Then drove it home. Seemed better but something still not quite right. Smelled gear oil now Saturday the 22nd and discovered RF axle seal slinging gear oil under Jeep and leaving very small puddle. Both rear axle seals also dripping. Obviously damaged during reassembly process. I’m beyond irritated now. This was supposed to be a Christmas present and I can’t even really enjoy it now. Last visit in I had a lift kit, bumpers and tire carrier done and had a similar type issue. They stripped one of the studs on the tire carrier. Quality control lacking here it seems. Very disappointed overall. Seem to overlook the smaller details here and carelessness. The guys are really nice and helpful but that only goes so far with these kinds of repeat issues. I question why they scheduled the work when they were on a skeleton crew for the holiday week!? Apparently not enough qualified personnel on hand. I will be returning again and I know they’ll take care of it because overall they’re a good crew, especially Collin, Chris and Mike Salisbury But it’s just been a disappointing experience this go around.***UPDATE***All outstanding concerns on this issue have been resolved as of December 27, 2018. Thank you to Dennis, Colin, and Kelsey for pulling together to make sure I was 100% satisfied to completion with this latest service work. I shall return.......... when the Jeep budget dictates 😉

Not sure why the guy Austin thinks he knows how an automotive business works when hes never even been there. So a tech installed the trackbar backwards. There is no inspection by a 2nd technician. We as technicians are supposed to do the work right and are expected to. Does the AC tech have another tech come check his work at your home? What about the plumber? Neither do we as technicians in this industry. Quit being a snowflake and take the trackbar off, turn it around, and put it back on. How are you gonna review a business youve never even been to or done business with? Lmao.CB Jeep did awesome work on my CJ5. Dennis and crew are great to deal with and they know their stuff.Unlike his friend, RRR, who couldnt tell the difference between a 350ci smallblock Chevy and a 302ci Windsor by Ford. You really should teach that guy something, Dennis. He makes such a fool of himself when he doesnt know squat about automobiles.
