Went for a smog check on my 2009 corolla. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The staff is great. They are super friendly. If your looking for a place to go or refer people to this is the place.

Read the reviews and decided to give them a shot and did not regret it! Took in my old 93 Camry and he even replaced a small hose for free. Cool guy to talk to.

They were extremely friendly and fantastic. My check was done very quickly. If you can go here to have you check. I will be going back when I need this done again.

They are super fast and honest about everything. Their prices are competitive and its easy to get in and out of their shop.

I called before I went to make sure they werent too busy. They told me that it was slower than usual due to Covid. So I told them I would be right over, but because I had failed smog once before with this car, and have since put on a new cat, I wanted to make sure it would pass since its been sitting in my shop for the past week. Fortunately it passed this time. The price was reasonable and the service was great. I will be back with my other cars. Ive been using another smog station in Orange for many years but they always have problems with my older cars which I tend to always bring.

I called here as I needed to get a smog done, last minute. He said come on down. Within minutes of my arrival, he pulled my car into the bay. About ten minutes later, he pulled he out and it was done! So fast and efficient.

They not only did a great job on my smog, but also answered my questions about my car, checked my oil, and added a quart all without accepting extra pay. Very helpful and friendly every time I come.

If you need STAR certified inspection, this is the place to go. The team here is friendly, professional, and efficient. Getting a smog check is a necessary but annoying chore and these guys make it easier.

The gentleman that helped us here was super friendly and quick. We were in and out in about 10min. The prices are very fair and they dont charge outrageous prices if you have an SUV or diesel. This will be my new place for smog checks!

Love this shop... Another shop down the street from me off orangethorpe which is a Goodyear tires shop next to del taco tried ripping my daughter off. they said they had to research a gas leak on the gas tank. I went to smog tech and he told me they cant deny my smog certification unless its dripping on the ground which it was not. It was completely dry and old residue. Smog Tech also helped with a bad vacuum (or similar) hose. Honest and helpful shop, no BS.

If you are searching for the best smog check place, you found it. No surprises, honest and trustworthy people, the job is done right and done quickly, and for a fair price. Safe place for a woman to go alone. Once I was lucky enough to find it years ago, Ive never even thought about going anywhere else.

At 2:15 on a Tuesday, there was absolutely no wait. In fact, Mr. Cash startled me showing up at the door as I was getting out of the car and he was right there (and I had no appointment). He directed me to the office, took my car right in. I dont think I waited more than about 5 minutes when they told me the inspection was finished. A record fast smog check! I will say that I have a 2012 model SUV with less than 37k miles on it and do regular maintenance, so I expected no issues. I would heartily recommend Smog Tech!

This place is not inexpensive for a Smog Check, but they know what theyre doing and they get customers in and done quickly. I tried to save money by going elsewhere, but I was disappointed with service and games. Now, I just come here and get the work done.

Helped me after I was scammed in South CountyThese guys are great. After I was scammed at a shop in South County, my dad and I came in to Smog Tech Star Station to have our vehicle reinspected. These guys had me in and out in 15 minutes with a Smog Certificate and a smile. Definitely recommend.

Been going there for years

Took my perfectly working fully restored classic car to Smog Tech Star Station for smoging. Between 2 technicians who tried to figure out how to smog it, they not only flooded the car, set it too rich so it was smoking badly, but they also broke the warmer distributor. They claimed that their machine was unable to read my car and therefore would not charge me . . . This I later found out was a lie because the system recorded my car as having failed that smog test. My car could not make it home from the Smog Tech and had to be towed from about a mile away. I called the shop and even though the technician came same day to my home to checkout my car, he had no idea what to do to fix it. After I had taken it to my mechanic who specializes in my type of car to fix, this shop will not even look at the invoice let alone offer any help with the bill. Right now I am considering my options. I wish all who take their cars to this shop better luck than I had with them.
