I was fortunate enough to visit this lovely little cafe while visiting York for the weekend. Both baristas behind the counter were incredibly kind and offered wonderful suggestions on where I should visit to pick up gifts to take home. Both the smoothie and iced coffee I got were delicious, and the outdoor seating area had outlets for me to plug in my laptop. Visiting Molly’s was one of the highlights from my weekend, and I absolutely look forward to returning the next time I’m in town.

Cute little cafe! My boyfriend and I were in the area and stopped in. We ordered avocado toast, a bagel, tea and smoothie! Food was SO good! We got seconds! Super cute aesthetic and decor. The employees were so sweet and welcoming! You have to try them out!

I had the “turn the beet around” smoothie and it was awesome! My husband had the breakfast sandwich with bacon and avocado. We loved them both! The staff was friendly and the vibe was on point. We would definitely return!

Very nice experience. Staff is knowledgeable about different types of coffee drinks to make and everything I have had has been delicious. Free, secured, fast wifi is available which is a must for me as a traveler. You can purchase small bags of the coffee they use in the shop along with a few other crafts. Owner is local to York area, which make you feel good about spending your time and money on a true local, small business.There is also an actual courtyard where you can hang and drink your coffee. Small plates such as pastries, muffins, pie, parfaits, and salads are available as well. Nicely decorated and always a pleasant experience. Location is close to downtown York with access to breweries, the market, restaurants, minor league baseball team, and theater.Lastly, they were one of the few local coffee shops open on Christmas eve!

I periodically visit York at least twice year, but due to the virus, it’s been 2 years. A friend of mine decided to try out some tea and coffee at Molly’s Courtyard Cafe. I could not believe a coffee shop, in York, had a kickback late 60’s early 70’s feel. The coffee and tea were excellent. I had a tea that tasted like lemon merengue pie. There is an outside area with sofa’s and chairs to hang out. I will definitely go back.

People super nice and almond croissants were on point. Latte was delicious and didnt need to put extra sugar in it. Green tea latte was good as well. Will definitely go back when I come through again.

I’m leaving my original review below but revising my rating. This place has gotten sloppy. A couple times ago song lyrics were inappropriate. This morning music was too loud to enjoy. Four people were working and we were only one in line. They were all talking amongst themselves. Finally got around to us. Food took too long. An employee was vaping in the kitchen area. It was 10:20 and pastry trays were empty. They were just putting stuff out when we were leaving. I get that this place has a cool vibe and as a longtime customer I’ve enjoyed that. But it’s slipped to negligence. I think someone needs to start paying attention here again.Regular customer for quite some time. But inspired to write a review after having Malaysian Chicken Soup this weekend. Holy smokes. Outstanding. And everything else about this place is great too.

Charming place, friendly staff, yummy coffee! I tried the coconut caramel latte. 😋 Looking forward to visiting in warmer weather so we can sit outside in the courtyard.

I was so excited to finally try this cafe with my Husband and daughter. I fell in love with the atmosphere and the aroma. My experience quickly turned sour when the gentleman behind the counter asked if I had a mask (my daughter and husband did) I Stated that I did not have one for medical reasons. ( I have seizures and asthma) I could tell that he was not pleased as he made that very clear as he turned his back to us and went about his business. I said are we still able to order? He said okay so I am not going to serve you because Im immune compromised (I too have am immune compromised as I have and autoimmune disorder and I am recovering from thyroid cancer) but she can do it and he walks away. I said Im sorry we wont be ordering and left. I understand the mask are a recommendation and not a law by any means. I under that each individual has a right to choose whether to wear a mask or not to wear a mask. I don’t think that should give anyone the right to discriminate against anyone. Needless to say I walked out of there trying to hold my composure.

These ladies and gentlemen are legitimately the reason i (and all my coworkers) have survived as long as we have. The coffee is amazing, the pastries are amazing, and they know our orders by name and never get it wrong. I would die for them.

Cozy little place for breakfast or a snack, or just hanging around. Beautiful back patio, nicely decorated with antique furniture. Sweets are average in range and quality but the overall felling of the place is great. Would be really nice to have some croissants and pastries.Few bar stools by the window. Whoop-whoooop! This place is a winner, winner. I YELPed coffee in the area I was staying and landed on MCC and am now a raving fan. Im doubtful I will be back in York, PA any time soon, if ever, but if I do, MCC is my first stop. I ordered the avocado toast and a cold brew (for the next morning) and I can honestly say the best avocado toast Ive ever experienced. Yes, experienced! The toast they use is a rosemary bread that is lightly toasted, smothered with a healthy portion of sliced avocados, not mashed like most, drizzled with chili oil and sprinkled with sea salt. The chili oil was very light and complimented the meal. Most wouldnt even notice the oil if it wasnt as visible as it is.The next morning I enjoyed my cold brew which was bitter-sweet. No, not the flavor, the fact that I wanted more of that avocado toast but didnt have time to go back. The cold brew was on the better side of cold brews Ive had, and Ive had gallons.The staff at MCC was also very delightful and friendly. Of all the places in York I would recommend MCC over all of them.

The atmosphere is very chills and the staff is always welcoming. I love the Avocado Toast and Macaroons. Definitely a Saturday morning go to for me!

Great little coffee shop near the square in York. Small in size with excellent food and great service. I had artichoke heart chicken turmeric soup and a kale salad. It was amazing. Even veggie choices available. Didnt use the outside area but looked very inviting. Cant wait to go again!

I had the regular coffee which was a fantastic bold brew. My wife loved the tea, said it was one of the best she has ever had. Kids enjoyed some treats.

Molly introduced my wife and I to french press coffee and showed us the way of the kale smoothie. She even let me name one of the smoothies! Turn the beet around used to be And the beet goes on. Also love her iced teas! Mollys new place is awesome as well. This is a staple of York to me, if you dont know about Mollys Courtyard Cafe, are you even a Yorker?

I love this place. The staff is so so nice, the drinks are fantastic, and she always has the best pastries. Not to mention the whole place is adorable. Try the London fog latte!

One of my favorite places to ever exist in YoCo. everything about this place is absolutely perfect. the atmosphere is wonderful, the staff is wonderful, the menu is wonderful. molly herself is so sweet, and she has put so much love and care into creating this amazing space! the iced pineapple walnut green tea is probably the best tea ive ever had.
