They roast their own coffee. Im a black coffee drinker. The dark roast and house blend are rich and flavorful without bitterness. Sis got a latte and they have all kinds of flavors.

My favorite coffee shop. Ever. The owners are so friendly and their drinks are delicious. They are coffee experts and will make a custom drink for whatever you are craving at the moment.

The women business owners are friendly. They make you feel at home. The tea is great and so are the bakes goods! I highly recommend this coffee shop if you like coffee!

I walked in here around 3-4 years ago for a coffee during work and have been back almost every work day (plus many more) since then. Not only do they have the best alternating varieties of coffee in York, they are some of the best people I have gotten to know so well. I havent just become friends with them I have also become friends with so many of their other regulars like myself. This is a place you go to for the coffee but stay for the company. Its like the coffee shop version of Cheers.

The pumpkin pie chai (I got it iced) is the most delicious drink Ive ever had! Im a huge starbucks and dunkin person but this was significantly more tasty!

Great shop to hang out, but the espresso was bitter and tasted soapy. There was very little body to the taste and the crema was thin. It just tasted like a very strong, very dark roast coffee. It was more similar to an espresso from Starbucks, not authentic Italian espresso.

Owners are so nice and make everyone feel at home in their shop. I love their seasonal menu and take home coffee options. They make great gifts!

Owners and workers are extremely friendly and welcoming. They have comfortable seating and tables, great place to set up your laptop, meet with friends for a drink, or bring a book to read. Every drink here Ive gotten has been divine.

Great roasting house. We love the Green Bean because we can get fresh roasted beans for home brewing in our pour-over or French press. They make very tasty cappuccinos, too! They always are very friendly and helpful, and have even offered to roast our choice of beans for pickup later on. If you like well made coffee and fresh roasted beans, you need to check out the Green Bean.

I love the coffee here. The flavors change from day to day so there is always something new to try. The owner, Jen, is very polite and inviting. I stopped going to Starbucks and made this my new go to place for my morning wake me up. Easily the best coffee shop around downtown York.

Awesome small town beanerie with a multitude of selections. This is a very quaint and comforting coffee shop. Its definitely one of the only in town that I know of that roasts their own beans and is able to have wholesale. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good cup of coffee on a cold day.

This may be my favorite coffee shop of all time. Ever. Small and intimate, amazesauce coffees with super fun drinks. I often take pictures of the drink specials and send them to my friends in Philly - who wish the Green Bean was in their neighborhood! Super comfy environment. I often will work remotely here. Coffee is delicious, staff are so nice, and if youre a Yorker, you are guaranteed to run into someone you know. Its a true community place!

I work in the city and look forward to whenever I can come in to this local spot for coffee and some good vibes. I always leave here happier than when I came! Shop changes up their menu often for new drinks and I always look forward to trying, must stop in.

I first met Jen and Vanessa when they managed another coffee shop near my work. Through periodic trips I got to know them, their superior customer service and their love for the craft. When that shop suddenly shut down, Jen and Vanessa kept the store open an extra day in order to spread the word that they would open their own shop for their loyal customers. True to their word, they did just that.The Green Bean is the perfect spot to catch up with an old friend (the decor is modern, the artwork is local and the atmosphere is quaint) or to stop in for a quick coffee. Or muffin (the muffins are pretty amazing!).Service really does make a difference and I would walk the extra couple of blocks out of the way in order to get a coffee from Jen or Vanessa. Though the fact that their coffee is so fresh makes a difference too! If you havent already, you should stop in!
