Love this place they have so many awesome products for me the prices are a little to high to shop there weekly but if money is no problem for you then this is your place for all good food!!

So many great products and a great company doing great things.

Normally I have to go to different stores to find vegetarian alternatives, but this store had a great selection of organic, vegan, and bulk food items. Staff was friendly as well. Items were a little expensive, but it supports local business and nonprofit organizations.

I love this store. They do a lot of the research and as a future registered dietitian, this makes my heart happy. Keep up the great work! Also, they run amazing deals so you have to go in to see what they have on sale, which isn’t horrible because you tend to find a future favorite item by doing this.Also- I loved the bee class they held years ago! That was the only reason I learned about this business and have been back time and time again over the years

My sister and I were in the Leg Up Market today and had been in the store for 10 minutes when we were approached by an employee with a tray. My sister who uses oxygen was expected to place another barrier between herself and fresh air. We had a 5 minute conversation with the young man who was polite but insistent. We told him he was violating the ADA, that he personally was liable and that he was breaking the law. Finally, we said to him “okay, you’ve told us. We’re not doing it. You can call the the police or whoever you want to call. We’re not doing it.” He walked away and let us finish our shopping. One last thing: Leg-Up has put two electric car charging spaces directly in front of their entrance and pushed the disabled parking spaces further away from the front door. That shows which customers they truly value. I called and left a message for the owner but never received a return call. I used to enjoy going to Leg Up Market but they’ve made it a horrible experience.

Omg i love this store. Has almost everything i need. Some cons is that i can find some if the itsems at other stores for less amounts but over all i love the quality and your definitely purchasing cleaner items thats beneficial for your body and wealth. Recommended 10/10

Lots of unusual stuff here that can’t be found in other stores. Very clean, community friendly store. One of the better pizza offerings in the area.

I love this market! They carry a really great variety of organic foods, make their own foods, and have an amazing coffee/juice bar! it’s the closest thing to Whole foods that I found in the area-in fact I actually like this place better than Whole Foods because of what they stand for. Highly recommend trying this market out- the staff is very nice also!

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The store is well stocked, especially with organic products. The coffee/tea/fruit&vegetable drink area, is great. You are able to get a MTO drink while shopping. The store adheres to Covid rules/regulations and sanitizes area between customers.

Always have to get my Perrydale chocolate milk there. If you are looking for organic foods this would be a good place to check out. Very polite staff.

I actually love this place. I do still wish they had more unique carnivore friendly items. There are so many great options if youre eating clean, keto, low-carb, paleo, primal, gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan. Maybe carnivore hasnt yet hit its stride and theyll catch up. Either way, they do go out of their way to include so many healthy options and keep a clean, attractive, well stocked store that they deserve 5 stars. They even have a couple of EV charging spots.

Unless you like be screamed at for not wearing a mask, I wouldnt go here.I witnessed a female employee yelling the F word to a customer and screaming at him to leave for saying he couldnt wear a mask due to a medical condition. Rude and unacceptable.I dont care if its a policy.. For a health food store, I find it pretty ironic how little understanding they have surrounding the principles of health.. Namely breathing oxygen without a useless mask 😂

When I was there its a very clean environment they have a lot of healthy choice options and if youre on a keto diet that they even have keto and low carb items very good place to shop plus I think some of the money goes to this school next door four children with disabilities.

This place is great! Decently priced organic fruits and vegetables. They are not only locally sources but good quality. They have many other things at this grocery store. I love the Back to Nature brand. They make a spin off of Cheese itz and Oreo cookies that are absolutely delicious and my son loves!They have Perrydell milk which is local and also good quality.They have samples of things located throughout the store which is great for trying new things. I like their selection of vegan products although Im not vegan.Last but not least they have a nice soup/salad bar, deli, butcher, and brick oven for pizza. You can leave with a fully made pizza or one to make at home.

I loved leg up till my experience today, will NOT be returning. I go to pay for my purchase and the first thing the cashier says to me (a biracial woman) is EBT? I aint say nothing about ebt, nor did she ask any other customer this, NOR did I even have my form of payment out yet for her to assume I was using ebt??? yall sell a peach for like 7.99 If I did use ebt like yall cashier was so bold to assume and stereotype....leg up be the last place Id spend some welfare money, Id spent 400 dollars and walk out with barely 10 things.

Went there for the first time yesterday. Could not stop smiling and talking about how great it was. For the rest of the day I was telling EVERYONE about how much I loved it. Fast forward to today when I still can’t stop thinking about how great my new store is. Clean lively helpful informative great customer service. Could not ask for anything better!

On recent visits, Im much happier with Leg Up: prices are reasonable, the selection is huge (especially for us folks with dairy and soy allergies), and the team is delightful. They also take safety and cleanliness very seriously, which I definitely care about since its hard to make me leave me house right now. Ill be coming back more often more often!

Shop here often..many say they dont because prices are high and that true but great quality items. . $4 for pc of gf cake is high but i still buy cuz i dont have to cook it.. whole bakedchicken is $4 more than giant..size is not larger so...

Perfection. I finally get to praise unabashedly a local store. Where to begin? Firstly, and most importantly right now, masks are mandatory here - so thank you so much, Leg Up, for that! Their produce section is as beautiful and vibrant as an actual farmers market. They have a great selection of local goods; an excellent selection of GRASS FED meats; an amazing selection of gluten free goodies (a lot of which Id never seen or heard of before); an excellent selection of all product categories that are very neatly well-stocked; its very clean; they have a baked goods section for dogs; the employees were super friendly and welcoming; and their prices are truly reasonable (some items are actually less expensive than they are at Wegmans). All in all, I exclaimed to my husband Im so happy while we were there. I could wander around for hours (under normal conditions) looking at all the special things they have. Im so very, very glad they exist and I will be patronizing them (in the good way), as often as I have a remotely reasonable excuse to go there. Well done, Leg Up Farmers Market!

This place is amazing. Theyre deli is awesome. If you want Vegan items this is the place to go. Vegan cookies and cupcakes that are delicious. Deli wraps are wonderful fire lunch. Deli staff is always friendly and courteous.

It was my first time at leg up Farm Market. My youngest son is 11 and has bragged about the market for years. I live in Harrisburg and went out that way today and decided to stop in and check it out. Everything was reasonably priced. Fresh produce was amazing. We got some amazing and delicious sushi, an Italian wrap, and fresh pizza were going to make once we get home. Will be visiting very soon. Expect to spend a lot of money.

Customer service to check on items in stock or not takes too long and then they saying it seems like no one in grocery dept available to check your items stock Niiice!

My teens love it as much as we do. Prices are reasonable for higher-end products. Salads, sandwiches and prepared foods are great, and we love stocking up on items that we would otherwise have to get shipped, which the big chains do not carry

This is the only place in York PA were I found Fresh Turmeric. Cheap nice price and the Turmeric looked really nice .

Best place to go for vegetarian and organic food. Even won a grill here last summer.

York and Central PAs local market for produce, meats, and bakery items for all special dietary needs. A locals favorite for made-to-order items, coffee and juice bar drinks. Think of it like a mini-wegmans or mini-whole foods, but without the crowds, long drive and hassle. Prices are good too.

Really like this little store but......bought 3 packs of hamburgers on friday, nice and red, looked great. Today, sunday, went to get out of the fridge to grill and they were black!!! And NO there is nothing wrong with my refrigerator.

I love this place! I cant always get all of the groceries I need here, but I do love their selection. They are very meticulous about their fruits and veggies. They are always so delicious! I dont mind paying a little more for good quality, organic produce and meats. Also, the drinks at the coffee bar are very good!

A bit pricey, but excellent quality. Favorites include their in house prepared BBQ chicken salad and regular chicken salad. Its also the only grocery store with a homey atmosphere.

Great price on organic childrens vitamins competitive to Amazon, huge variety of allergy friendly foods. Very helpful service, pleasant employees and cashiers.

My daughter has a dairy allergy so my husband and I went to Leg Up to see what all goodies we could find for here that had no milk. There is such a variety of healthy foods that I was completely unaware of! The produce selection was also great. We ended up getting some crisps and blueberry waffles for my daughter and they were very delicious. We plan to go back again soon!

This place is so cute and trendy. I enjoyed their cheese danish and also picked up a couple other choice items since their selection of groceries are hip and wonderful. Although just a heads up they do not accept wic farmer market checks!

Great little store hidden just outside York. Its the local version of whole foods and WAY better. Its of course a little pricey but I love going there when I need some unusual ingredients or Im feeling a little saucy.

We visited here for shopping, and also looking for Unique holiday gifts. Wow! Friendly, and knowledgeable, staff. Great selection of healthy and natural food items. Check out Louies Cafe if you want to have a quick bite to eat. The nut butter station, along with the maple syrup and olive oil station is fantastic, a stroke of Genius! There are plenty of choices for all pallets in your family. The prices are a little higher than you will find a typical grocery store. This is completely reasonable, and understandable. The quality and safety of the food, along with the choices, is nothing short of amazing. The best in the Tri-County area. The cherry on top is their missions of supporting and serving people with disabilities. Im happy to pay a little more. Join their loyalty program, and be rewarded for making leg up Farmers Market a routine. Shopping at leg up Farmers Market is not a chore, its a pleasure and a great experience. Grab a friend and enjoy some of the best roasted coffee in the county!

Love the wide array of organic options and locally produced food!! We needed a place like this in York, and its great to know that the proceeds help children and others who are disabled. The only reason why i didnt rate 5 stars is because there are some items like meat and non-dairy options that are gonna be hard to afford on a low-income, but thats mainly a societal issue that cant be helped by the store. (If thats gonna change its going to have to be on a large-scale) but anyway, theres many options even bulk nuts etc for making your own trail mix etc which is amazing.

Overpriced on everything. Produce was overripe or under ripe and tasteless. I was highly dissatisfied with pretty much everything I got. I will never go back. Not to mention, the market lacked every day items and the back counter staff person acted like I was bothering her when I approached her with a question. So dissapointed.

In addition to other products, they have a very good selection of vegan and vegetarian foods!

We love this market and go here very frequently. We loved the original concept behind the market of being for local farms and businesses. The issue that we have is that it has become very commercialized and have branched out of the local farms and businesses. They still offer a lot of local products but they also offer a lot of things that you can get at any other supermarket. Their prices are also a little higher, but, with good reason as the profits all go to the farm to help special needs children and adults.

Great place for locally grown food shopping and well as freshly prepared meals. I love to stop in for a sandwich or slice of oven brick pizza at lunch time. They also have a wonderful variety of allergy safe sweets!

Love this place. The sushi is great. We seem to keep coming back for more. If you are looking for a discount grocer, this is not the place. It is the place to find things that you really need but can only get at nutritional stores and specialty shops and comparatively, the prices are very competitive. We eat only organic, humanely raised meats, and have allergy restrictions with wheat and dairy and we can find just about everything we need. We also love the extras that Leg Up has to offer to include a community space for meetings and gatherings at no cost! What a great idea. We are talking about hosting a cooking class for our homeschool friends there. Dont miss this gem of a store!

We shopped before the grand opening! Everything was good. A marvelous experience, great location, excellent selection. For a non-profit it seemed so savy it was commercial. By that I mean - well organized and customer friendly. Just amazing.No gaps in the offering. You could do grocery shopping here.

This place is a local gem! Like their Facebook page if you have time and follow them so that you know when they are having one of their amazing flash sales. Great, local foods as well as those found in pricier health food stores. Dont get me wrong, their small bakery section is wonderful as well!

Was there yesterday for their Birthday celebration...10% off everything in the store! Free samples of yummy items in store. I always can spend more time than anticipated when I shop there.Only problem was when I got home and checked my receipt, I was overcharged for some items. Now back to the store for clarification. Its a little bit of a drive for me, so I will need to plan another trip.

Good place to find a variety of local produce when in season. I would not recommend going there to buy common brands as they are 25% more expensive than Giant for instead.
