Good typical grocery store. Well stocked with good selection. Very clean and modern. Employees are decent. It can be confusing to navigate the store it has a sprawling layout. I prefer the west York location.

I called and requested jackfruit a little over a month ago and they got it in! I was so happy I yelled in excitement and customers laughed at me as they saw me jumping with joy. To the worker who took my call and put my request in, thank you! I don’t think you understand how much this meant to me

There are 3 Giants near meI go to this one when I go to YorkIts a great store. Its large and well set up . The variety of choses is much better than the Dover storeI especially like the meat department.

I come here all the time, it’s generally clean and organized and the staff is friendly. I also love the plants they have upfront and I have collected many. :) The prices are good and I love that you can get discounted gas with your giants card.

Cashiers expect you to bag your own groceries. They give off major attitude when you dont. If I wanted to bag my own groceries I would go to Aldis or Lidls!

We had a good shopping experience at this location. The store was clean and well stocked. The thing that impressed me the most was the cashier and bagger that we worked with. The way that the cashier was talking to the customer in front of us I thought for sure they knew each other personally but as they went on I realized they did not and the cashier was just as personable with us as well. The girl that came over to bag our groceries was very nice and she did a great job bagging everything. By far the best experience Ive had with younger grocery store employees.

I went to the Gettysburg store and got 1 white cake and 1 chocolate cake (smalls) for my birthday. The one labeled white was actually marble

One of the nicest Giants in the Susquehanna area. Clean, well organized and the pharmacy has a great selection. Love the seafood and prepared meats.

I normally shop strictly at Walmart. I shopped at every other grocery store and I find they are the cheapest. However I had a gift certificate for Giant so I thought I would use it. The store was clean and the employees were really friendly. They had a great selection. And I found it prices are not too much higher than Walmart and some are actually pretty good. Most likely I will be a return shopper.

Love their seafood market with fresh seafood. I always come here for live lobsters and have them steamed for free. Friendly staff always me feel very welcome.

Giant Food has been one of my favorite markets for years. It would be great to have Giant Food nation wide. I have been shopping at Giant Food for as long as I can remember. They always have a great variety of food items, bakery items freshly made in the store, a great pharmacy, the staff is always helpful at every location, always plenty of parking. The customer service area has everything you need for services including lottery and western union services. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about any Giant Food location. This is a top notch supermarket chain and has been in business for a very long time. Well established and for good reasons. They never disappoint and have great customer service.

Store is clean, and well layed out on the inside. They have an impressive selection of vegetarian and organic foods. Who reads reviews for a grocery store? I enjoy the ready made meals. Inaddition to an assortment of foods they also have a wine and beer section as well where you can buy name brand beers as well as craft beers.

Went grocery shopping after work in the morning and had as good as a shopping experience as you could have. Staff, which seemed robust during Covid times, was very friendly and nice. The store appeared to be in a clean, presentable and orderly state. Customers were also in good spirits, which in retail has a lot to do with the environment and staff. All of the elements of a clean, well operating store were visible. Nice work to the staff of this store! Coming from retail this was worth the positive review!

I normally use self checkout but today I had a few more items that so my car was full I went to register she did not say hello even after I said hello she was throwing my food in with my non-food items she had put the bread at the bottom of the bag and put stuff on top of them when I asked to speak to a manager the manager just ignored me I will never go in that store again and I will tell all my friends and family of my experience right on Facebook

Love Giant. Always loved shopping there. Everything is so fresh. I just think the place is so well organized and theyre very helpful. I use a electric cart for health reasons and they always ask to come help me at the car. Someone comes to bag my groceries and put them in my cart. Love the fresh cold cuts and cheeses.

Giant food stores in West York is generally a poor experience if you have to interact with any of the department employees.Generally the cashiers are pleasant and courteous.Four employees in the deli one week and only one of them is serving a waiting customer. The priority is often kiosk orders instead of real time customers. They have a serious issue here and no desire to fix it.This time the fail is a total lack of help. Please take note of the seemingly new employee in my picture attempting to serve 4 customers in line. It took 20 minutes to be served this time. We were the next in line behind the person being served. Its a new record!Looks like the Owner responded to my review. Canned response similar to all the others. Couldnt have bothered to check the name they copied and pasted into the response. I dont believe my name is Dean. I promise that I will not return and will advise others to do the same.

Generally cannot complain about Giant...when they have enough cashiers it goes pretty well. I have been there when the lines were longer than normal and as today...not sure if she was a manager....but she jumped on a register that was 15 items or less but was checking out anyone who came to her register to get the lines down. Thank-you!!! I had about 20 and normally wouldve waited in another line. Wish I knew her name...if I find my receipt...😊

There was not enough cashiers for the amount of customers that were in the store.

Like that the front end very open and not cluttered - can get a few handicapped carts around without difficulty. Outside signage and traffic flow is a little constricted with the Giant gas station.

Very packed! But, the flow is quick and you can find everything you need. The are quick to respond to questions and always look for the best product! The one time I needed a onion and there was none in stock so the gentleman goes back brings out this huge cart before restocking and tells me to pick out the best one you can find!! That was so sweet!

Good grocery store to get what you need.

After my experience this week, no more Carlisle Road Giant! There were numerous shoppers with no masks or masks over their chins. Worst of all, several store employees were wearing sheer mesh rhinestone masks, designed to help anti-maskers circumvent mask rules. They serve no function whatsoever. One employee wearing one of these faux masks was reaching over my shoulder only inches from my face. When I spoke with the manager, he said the corporation was fine with those masks and did not appear concerned about exposing customers to COVID. Shop at your own risk!

Quality produce. Fairly large organic/vegan/healthy living aisle. The marinated mushrooms from the salad bar are delicious. Plenty of cashiers. Friendly customer service. Plus they have a working Coinstar.

Your pharmacy staff was courteous, helpful and understanding. On Monday, I needed to venture out for a refill, it was my first solo outing since the shelter in place was issued. Needless to say, I was anxious about being in a public place. There was a miscommunication about the refill (NOT by YOUR Pharmacy—even in a tech savvy world things are not perfect) this prolonged my outing. Unfortunately I became THAT dreaded annoying customer. Your staff remained professional, helpful and kind while I waited. They delivered great customer service, while I nervously paced. Thank you Pharmacy Staff for your prompt service and kindness. If you are looking for a pharmacy that goes beyond what is required with a smile on their face, I have found one here! Thank you .

The cashier told me rudely when I put my one purchase on her belt...umm, theres a line. There was no one in sight, however, I left and got behind the one other person between the yellow lines. Waited for someone to wave him to a cashier then me. I went right back to the same cashier who made me leave. As she was ringing up my one item she continued to chat with the cashier beside her. I understand rules but really, come on use your common sense not to mention your manors. Considering never going back again.

The store doesnt enforce the use of masks. Last week was in and saw two families without masks. 1/48 have COVID in York, PA. currently this means the likelihood of someone having it during your shopping trip is almost guaranteed.

Great selection, many individually wrapped items that do not need to be individually wrapped like potatoes or herbs. This location along with others in the area have seemed to stop COVID precautions only requiring a mask

Clean store, helpful staff, stock is often on point. I really like that its 24 hour as well. The remodel in the cold areas was a very good investment. It doesnt waste energy and people can walk through without feeling chilly.

I worked for them for a year and I was fired because another employee cursed me out because she was lazy and doing everything in her power not to help the customers and I Politely called her out on it and she said Derogatory statement to me. I gave my heart n soul to this place and they just let me go because of what another employee said to me in front of a customer. I’m the one who asked the customer to report what the other employee said to me and remind u the customer even told me I dod nothing wrong smh I didn’t deserve to be fired

Giant is a good place to go if you are looking for more specialty items that stores like Walmart do not offer. The staff is always very nice and the store itself is clean. Although, prices here are fairly high in comparison to other grocery stores. They do offer a member card which offers many money saving opportunities, alerts you of certain sales, and rewards such as gas points for the purchases that you make. Sometimes they do have decent sales. Overall, this is a nice location just a bit more expensive than other stores.

I want to give a shout out to the Bakery, Deli and produce dept for coming to my rescue at the last minute. We got a call from Walmart at 730 am yesterday morning (wedding day) that our order for the cake and sandwich trays were to able to be filled. The wedding was to start at 1 pm and we had no food or cake to serve out 40 guests. Well I called the Giant Bakery and the lovely young lady that answered the phone said she could definitely help me out. She made a two tier wedding cake for me by11 am..It was beautiful and tasted amazing. The deli manager Dani was also amazing she was able to make 2 large slider sandwich trays, along with Fruit and veggie trays. I went to pick these up at 1130 am and the staff was so friendly and helpful. They were ALL amazing. The provided Excellent customer service for me when I was in panic mode. Thanks to you all.

Good place to Shop

Pretty sad when you stand at the deli counter and the employees completely ignore you. So you do the kiosk order, go get the rest of your groceries, come back and the person that was behind you is being waited on. Only to find out that you now have to wait longer for them to very slowly process your order. Oh and hes wearing earbuds while hes working, no wonder I was ignored!!

Its okay. The prices are decent, especially if the item is on sale. They have a robot that just rolls around the store, waiting for the day that it can rise up and violently destroy its human masters.

My daughter had to make a quick stop before she went to an appointment to get ingredients to make supper. They had all the ingredients so it was a quick trip and she got to her appointment on time. And some of the ingredients were on sale like pitas chips 2/5.

What can I say 🤔 I just missed going to any grocery stores where you can find just about anything you need. Now, simple things like roasted garlic powder is not even available. A lot of their spice racks are empty.

You have unprofessional staff at your pharmacy including the pharmacist himself. I asked him a question about something personal Im going through and he was very subtle with his answer and your 2 ladies were laughing at me. It took me a very long time to be comfortable with asking them kinda people personal questions and they ruined it all over again for me. Thanks alot!!
