Good little grocery store. Good prices on most thing. The only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is because its to close to york city for me

Nice lil store but the old guy joe at the cashier is ignorant

First time coming to this store wasnt very appealing. I go to get a cart which is keeped locked on the outside of the store unless you add a coin to release it. I noticed a bunch of trash underneath each cart wheel which could cause harm to someone trying to release it. I went to go inside the store to check it out but notice a filthy floor at the entrance and located near the vegetables. At this point management and store workers was just trying to get people in and out the store. The store was crowded and people continued to go inside to shop. This place need attended to on the inside and out.

Need to get website fixed so people can see the weekly sale ad,it wont show the sale ad for york

This is a nationwide store and I only go here for convenience when I am looking for something real quick and it is in the area but as my main shopping not for me, but a lot of people shop here.

God prices, good variety, friendly staff.

Watch for meat sales here.lots of other things to buy here also. Bathrooms a mess will not use.

Quality of food is not the best, prices are reasonable. You honestly get what you pay for IMO. Convenient for people traveling out of the city or those who need access within walking distance. His stop is in front of the plaza.

I used to work here and I can attest to the fact that it’s the cheapest grocery store in york, but remember, you get what you pay for. You won’t find high-quality, gourmet food here. It’s mostly store-brand items, less-than-fresh produce, and a pretty slim selection. So, if you plan on making a fancy organic four-course meal, go elsewhere. But if you’re just picking up groceries for the week, this might be a good place to go. Just don’t plan on this being a “one stop shop” kinda deal. They don’t carry all items that a normal grocery store has, just the basics. Their meat is really cheap, though, I remember getting chicken for $50 a lb one time. So bottom line, if you’re not picky and are just loading up the fridge to keep the kiddos fed, save-a-lot is your place!

Love the store best meat prices around love the quality of the meats the store is clean and they always have sales that beats other stores I recommend this place to all my family and friends

Nice place to get meat for grilling!

Prices are great, its the only grocery store where I can load my cart and not worry about going over budget. Fruit is always fresh and great quality as well as their dairy. Recently they started carrying more name brand items which is nice. The only down side is the cashiers, they could work on being friendlier.

The store is clean and fairly well organized. A lot of their product comes from Hispanic companies, which is fine by me. Their selection isnt as big as say Giant or Weis, (I have yet to find asparagus in there), but the money you can save is worth it. You dont need a rewards card to save money. 99 cent/lb pork roasts have me coming back every time!

So you wouldnt think a discount food store would have good steaks, but they do. I am picky, usually go for really thick cuts, but their thin sliced cuts are great for light meals or trying to make ur budget last longer. This store boarders the city so you see folks from all walks of life. Everyone is friendly.

Compared multiple items like Maxwells coffee, and a bag of doritos and both items were a dollar more here then Walmart. Gerber baby food was 41 cents more, bananas were 9 cents more per lb. So many more items were more expensive then Walmart! Never coming back.

They should sale better quality food. Not enough registers open when store is pack with customers.

Went to SaveALot for items advertised in their weely ad. They had none of the sale items in stock. The unsmiling and rude manager snarled, Were waiting for the truck to come!
