Would not do my weekly shopping g here. But every now and then is fine. Good cookies and purchased some delicious steaks.

We enjoy stopping by this store! We love the croissants, and they often have reasonably priced produce as well as other gems throughout the store. My husband likes their chicken sausage.

First time at this store. Got a lot of good deals on frozen food and surprisingly on many other items. Clothing and camping supplies. An unexpected surprise!

Our go-to grocery store. Meat, fish, and a good selection of staples for us. The Lidl brand items are just as good and cheaper than big stores. Yes they dont have everything on the list but with their app, I know we have been saving a lot of money.

I go here for so many things like their deli section, cheeses, theyre really good prices on most items including eggs and milk which is everyday staples however sometimes theyre really lacking in the produce department. I would love to see fresher fruits and vegetables. I love their prices and I dare not go anywhere else but sometimes one day after I buy berries of any kind, they immediately go bad.Also here lately, Ive noticed the lack of cashiers at this particular store. I dont know if theyre short-handed or if no one wants to jump on the register during certain hours but it would certainly help when I have a cart full of groceries and have to go to the self checkout line because theres no one open to ring me up.

Definitely worth checking out, price wise is great and theres alot of items you dont see anywhere else... remember to bring bags or use a box letting around the store unless you wana pay for bags.. only downfall imo

Ive been anxiously waiting for Lidls 2 open since I 1st saw the sign go up and the article in the newspaper 2+yrs ago. I had looked the company us online last year just to see what it was all about. Its my understanding that Lidls s is a German based grocery chain but is also everywhere. They are a cross between Aldis, Giant & k-mart. I finally got to visit the store for my 1st time today. I was VERY PLEASED. They had EVERYTHING I was looking for, plus so much more. Everything I bought today was cheaper than Id spend regularly at Giant. They sells all of your grocery needs, they have a bakery bakes fresh bread daily as well as Donuts, soft pretzels and rolls just to name a few. They also have some gardening/outdoor needs, plants for both outside & indoors and fresh cut flowers. They have 2 aisles that have all sorts of tools, blankets, pillows, baby clothes, toys, household needs, sleeping bags. The only thing that there wasnt a large variety of was dog/cat food & needs. Dont get me wrong there was a decent variety for this pets its just that my cat and dog will only eat a specific brand of foods and use a specific brand of cat litter and neither of those things were available here whats your sign with me. I definitely recommend you taking the time to stop by and check out this new store if youre in the York area.

Basically like an Aldi except less selection. They havent reordered their house brand tortilla chips ($0.99 vs. $3.99 Herrs) in like 6 months. Also they got rid of all their teriyaki wing sauce. Great store though and in a great location close to the college campus.

While they may not have everything, coming here first will definitely knock out the majority of your store list. One of the cheapest stores in town.

They had a lot of great bargains and some organics.

Very impressed, no longer have to travel an hour to Trader Joe’s was able to find comparable items it’s a nice mixture of a “Trader Joe’s and Aldi combined, great selection & great prices .

I spent $165.00 and Closing manager on 8/11/2021, very disrespectful throwing the groceries with bad work ethic and when I request the district manager phone she just refused they way she trough the pack of hot dog end up in the floor lifted up and put it in the belt with my other groceries, when I ask her to not to throw the bread she just respond to me with a bad attitude and throw the second bread bag,this was my first visit and will be the last visit shoping at this store hoping the district manager see my post and contact me regarding this issue.

Were so lucky to have a Lidl in York! Ive never been to one in the past and now I stop at least once a week. I havent encountered an item that I didnt love. Lidls cheeses and snack meats make the best charcuterie boards! The store is laid out so efficiently that I not only save money, but also time.

The store is very nice and has some good quality food as in Europe.Fresh pastry is amazing, finally a place with salty pastries.Store managers, please let the cashiers sit, having them standing is torture and would be illegal in many places. Again, please give them chairs and let them sit!

Here is the good the bad and the ugly on my first and last visit.Good - Bakery BreadBad - Employees stocking shelves on a Saturday. They were working off of a pallet with a pallet jack in the middle of the isle. Isles are about 6 pallet is 4. Employees didnt apologize as customers struggled to get down the isle. Safety hazzard!Ugly - We purchased sliced provolone cheese and a hunk of Asiago cheese. Neither were expired but we realized both were moldy when we got home. Total waste of money seeing they both had to be thrown away!!!

Love the produce, good bakery, cheese and meats. Frozen foods are usually cleaned out whenever I go lately.

This supermarket is one of the ones I like the most in York, they have most of the most popular products on the market, with excellent quality and at a good price. It has a complete department of Cheese, dairy and sausages. I understand that they can improve the assortment in meat, fruits and vegetables ...

Great discount market. I know sales are slow for them rolling out in America. Sales will get better over a few years once people get to know Lidl. I am old enough to remember, when Adli came to America, their markets were empty, now their lots are always full, but it took years to do so. Please do not slow your American roll out, we need one in Central PA, maybe in Mechanicsburg close to Wegmans and Aldi.Dont have to wait forever to check out like Adli, because you can use the self-check out if using a credit/debit card. MANY MANY times I walked out of Aldi, because the checkout lines were just too long with people carrying full cart loads

I love this place! Bought2 lb boxes of pasta for .89! Wide variety of goodies, meats, cheeses etc. Lots of breads and pastries.Take your own bags or buy them there.

I heard from a lot of people that this was such a great store prices were low and my experience was different. Some of the prices were the same as my regular grocery store or higher, Some meats hadreally good price but overall Im not feeling the praise that I heard from other people

As all grocery stores, they have some great deals and others are mediocre, at best. Nonetheless, nice bakery items and lots of quality store brand items at everyday low prices.

Great little place. They have the best soft pretzels in their bakery section. The prices and selection were wonderful. If youve never been there before you need to bring your own bags or purchase ones at checkout.

Not too busy, but as usual, checking out was frustrating. There was only one cashier managing both his register and all 4 of the self-check terminals, 2 of which were flashing red for assistance and 1 of which wasnt in service. Lidl could learn a lot from Aldi about streamlining the checkout process. Incidentally, we were overcharged $1.00 on a package of hamburger that was on sale. Didnt realize it untill we got home. Grrrr.

Fair prices, friendly staff and clean store. Great social distancing and cleaning practices in place. Wiped down carts and common surfaces with people in stations at those areas.

Love the store usually Easy in and out. This time I accidentally got more than what I brought In with me and the cashier made me go to my car when she had a long line to make me pay when she could have took the items off. I’m more annoyed and being embarrassed with all those people when she could Of took my items off and go on to the next customer.

Great groceries with good meats and produce. It doesnt have the variety of the bigger stores but the products are fantastic.

Was dissatisfied this visit. Produce section was skimpy. Alot of the freezers were empty. The store was messy and disorganized. Not like Lidals, at all. Maybe Monday isnt a good day to shop.

First time at a Lidl store. Clean, Organized, Nothing expired by expiration date. Noticed several certifications on product like aquaculture and the womens council. Usually I shop walmart because of pricing. Though the stores are not clean. The employees are not being taken care of and this translates into poor looking stores. Also, Walmart is still bullying its vendors. I dont care for Walmart and will be taking my past receipts to compare with Lidl. Pretty confident they are just a tad less than walmart. I noticed that Lidl seems more social and environmentally friendly with some practices they have Walmart. Also, I chose many years ago to give up slavery to auto ownership. I use public transportation. Some in part due to the desire for environmental responsibility of my self. This Lidl is convenient from a rail trail. So it allows my to ride my bike. I believe I found a new place to grocery shop!

Yummy organic food. Prices compare to Giant or less expensive. Service is good. Staff is friendly. Parking on Saturday afternoon is easily available. Wish LIDL had fresh celery and carrots.

Convenient location. Small footprint. Baked goods smell great when I walk in & are presented well. Would like it to open sooner, but I can still drop in and get what I need with little fuss. Wifi in the building. Havent tried the app yet. All the basics of grocery and then some.
