This was my first visit to Christian Brothers Auto. I needed to have my car looked at quickly to go about the rest of my day. I called ahead and the gentleman said he had some cancellations and to go ahead and come in. They were prompt and very kind. Each person working acknowledged me, asked me about my vehicle and kept me informed on what was going on. It was a minor issue, but they did find additional items I was not aware of. They fixed the minor issue free of charge- which I was surprised as other places would of charged a small fee. The mechanic was very kind and was adamant to see what was going on with my vehicle. I will definitely be returning to address the additional services that need to be done on my vehicle.

I’m editing my review and chalking up the initial experience to misunderstanding and technical woes. The day after posting my original unfavorable review, my check engine light came on. At my wit’s end, I called and scheduled another service. David and team were a bit caught off-guard by the original review, as my web form request for a callback simply did not make it through to anyone. Past experience with mechanics had me thinking they were just like all the others, but they were determined to change my mind, and they succeeded.Original review: Based on their high marking reviews, I had high expectations and really wanted to have a great experience here. Unfortunately, I found myself having to check in with them about my car twice while under service, spent 3x what I had planned (but thought, its probably worth it... they must know what theyre doing...) and in the end, not only was the vibration issue I went in for originally not fixed, new vibrations and noises appeared. When I asked them to look into that, they basically said they used a non Honda part in the servicing and thats what was making the noise, and wanted another $400+ to fix. I tried explaining my frustration and asked for a callback, which has not come. Really disappointed. Ill be taking my Honda to the dealership now to get it straightened out.

Very professional, explained services and costs ahead of time went that extra mile in repairs but stayed in budget. Didn’t find a bunch of add on needs for me and their estimate is what I paid. Finished promptly with useful help and information. This will be my new go to for all my needed services. On top of everything they were nice and listened to me. Many thanks. David, the owner, has done a fantastic job of hiring quality staff to work here. Adam and Daniel were both very helpful in helping me understand what needed done with my car and being transparent about cost and the time it would take. Adam called to give me a rundown of exactly what needed done and why it would be beneficial to have it done. He was very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions I had. They sent me a text letting me know when my car was being worked on and even sent an inspection report for me to look over that had pictures and videos explaining what needed done in detail. Everyone here was friendly, efficient, and quick to assist me. To make it even better, their lobby area is clean and they offer water and coffee if you choose to wait. If you cant wait around, they have a shuttle that will take you and pick you up from where you need to go. I am beyond pleased with the service and I will be recommending this shop to any and everyone who needs work done.

100%+ above and beyond service. Called around other places that wanted to run diagnostics and charge ridiculous money to fix my window. I called Christian Brothers Automotive and the gentleman was very friendly, very optimistic to have a quick and easy look at it. Didnt have to make an appointment even though they were busy working on so many other cars, just drove by and they fixed it in less than 2 minutes! Really friendly and helpful and you can tell they love what they do. I definitely plan to come back for future maintenance services. They were wonderful to work with. We were actually having a transmission fluid cooler installed do increase the towing capacity of our Honda pilot. They treated my wife very well. We will definitely do business with him again.

Contacted CB for 2 vehicles that we own. One had a odd noise coming from rear brake area. Our other car had a check engine light. Ultimately both cars were repaired. Not much fanfare and negative impact. Price was palatable.

This is a terrific facility and organization! They are working with me on a variety of issues on my 15 year old Porsche Cayenne. Very knowledgeable and creative in their approach. May save me some major cash and time.

Christian Brothers has one of the BEST out standing customer service and best experience I ever had at an auto mechanic.I moved to Carmel from Chicago last year. I travel for work and my car broke down on Sunday afternoon. I started making calls on Monday morning to find a reliable mechanic in short notice and this place was able to meet all my expectations and work around my schedule. Due to my time constraint the staff was able to quickly fix my vehicle quicker than I even expected. On top of that they were able to pick me up and drop me off. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone!

I made an appointment for Friday at this location they gather my name, number, car, and problem. The day of the appointment I was going to be late so I call the location to let them know. They get my info and say its fine. I get there and what a surprise when they dont know who I am and say that I didnt have an appointment I tell them who I spoke with and they say he is at a different location. This was my mistake but when I call the correct location, they never made an appointment for me. Confused I call all the other locations just in case it was my mistake again and made it at a different location, nope nobody knows about it. So thats great I drove 50 minutes to get there wasting my time not that it mattered because nobody made an appointment and its useless calling them because they dont even verify you have one. I heard they are pricey but I dont mind paying more if I get good results at least they saved me money because I know a mechanic that does great work and gives me a really good deal but hes got so much business hes 2 weeks to schedule. I will stick with him even if I have to wait a little.

Co-owner provided transportation while they did courtesy evaluation of my Lexus RX 350. They sent me the few items needing repair before proceeding with servicing. Texted me when work completed. Very pleased with outcome.

I received a Mother’s Day Gift Certificate from Church at the Crossing for a free oil change. I called earlier this week to get it scheduled and the process was seamless and the staff were friendly. My appointment was for today and it was a quick, easy process and everything was thoroughly explained to me. They also provide a shuttle if you can’t wait around. I will definitely continue to do business with them in the future.

I have been a loyal customer of Toyota for many years but decided to give this new shop a try, I was not disappointed.The staff was very courteous and extremely knowledgable. They did an oil change and put new brakes on my 2008 Hylander. I thought the pricing was extremely fair. The courtesy shuttle was awesome! I highly recommend this Christian Brothers shop. I highly recommend Christian Brothers Automotive for any and all your automotive needs. As a single woman of 2 adult children, I have struggled over the years to find and trust mechanics/dealerships that didnt see $ signs every time I brought my car in. The most recent example... In the last 2 years the last Dealership charged me over $1,500 twice to replace the same 2 parts! So my check engine light had been on since June, and I had just had it in the dealership 6 months prior and have been on medical leave from work since April. So earlier this month I had gone to my church to ask for prayers and if they could help with my July Mortgage and Utility expenses, which they graciously did! Praise Jesus!! Then, Dave Zelner, (the Owner of Christian Bros. Automotive),who is a member of my church, heard of my need and told the church to have me bring my car in to their Zionsville location which I did. This time the catalytic converter system needed to be replaced, as well as software update, new brakes and rotors and something else, I cant remember now, but it was at least $4,000.00 worth of repairs and he fixed everything and he didnt charge me a dime! On top of that they brought me home the day I brought it in and when it was done they delivered it to my home and I dont live in Zionsville! Adam, Daniel and Dave are the kindest, most thoughtful, trusting men/mechanics I have ever met. They truly are, and forever will be my Christian Brothers!

Great placebwith high quality customer service. Showed up about 530npm with a burned out headlight. David got me right in. Michale replaces the burnednou bulb and replaced thenother bulb without any prompting. Michael wanted to make sure my headlights had same color and intensity. AppreciTed the quick turnaround wiith NO hassle. If you need a family oriented, quality value, and high level of customer service. These guys have done a great job helping me to maintain our fleet of vehicles. They are a first class operation. They are quick to get on the job and follow up with documentation as the job progresses.

The team at the new Zionsville Christian Brothers Automotive was great. The communication was the best Ive experienced at a repair facility and they really knew and were excited to work on my older car (with all of its unique challenges). Ill be taking all of my cars and trucks here in the future for service.

When trying to chose a repair shop for my vehicle I spoke with several local shops and chose Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA). I was nervous of the cost of the repairs and the other shops either didn’t give me ANY pricing on the phone or quoted nearly $175 for diagnostic testing. CBA had a lower diagnostic fee and due to the simplicity, ease of fixing the problem, didn’t charge the full amount.CBA is revolutionary in that they give you information digitally about the progress, provide photos of inspection items requiring attention, recommended repairs, and an estimate. It made it so much easier to review. Highly recommend giving them a try!!
