Customer service was excellent! The food was okay, nothing fancy or special. We stopped over on our way back down to CA and were happy to try this spot from reading other yelpers reviews. Even though we came in 20 minutes before they closed (we didnt know), they were kind to provide service happily. NO fuss, no faces, and no uncomfortable vibes. Alot of places in CA DO NOT like it when people come in 30 minutes to closing. And they let you know, which is awkward sometimes. So thanks for being awesome!

My kids said the tuna sandwich was bomb lol. I had the meat lovers omelette and added bell peppers. My husband had a cheese omelette. The food was really good. Id have to say one of the best omelettes I have ever had. Their potatoes are also incredibly delicious 😋🤤 their home made jam OMG even yummier!! if we ever pass through here again we will definitely be stopping!!:)

BREADBOARD can go toe to toe with any breakfast in Ashland, better than most. Delicious muffins and scones and top notch coffee.

We came in a little after 10 o’clock last Saturday morning and ordered the chicken fried steak, a breakfast burrito and some pumpkin pancakes. I had the impression that the food was going to be delicious, (after reading how good the reviews were), but unfortunately none of us were impressed with our meals. :( The chicken fried steak was very small and not fresh at all. My fiancé said the burrito was alright and my daughter said her pancakes and hot chocolate tasted off.

Worst chicken fried steak Ive had, bland gravy, burnt toast. The whole dish was barely warm. It wasnt even busy when we were there. Would not recommend.

The food was good, they had some tasty specials, but the service was amazing. Will definitely be back!

Positives to note:. Truly excellent food in very generous proportions. Exceptional service. Nice location with at least some seating having delightful views. The worst negatives: I couldnt like the iced tea which is strongly spiced (similar to Constant Comment), and a bit on the pricey side.

Because of Covid-19 this place is perfect as they have beautiful outdoor seating area on both sides of the building. We enjoyed our breakfast while enjoying the fresh air and view. Food was great! Sorry, I forgot to take photos before we make them disappear. Their Stuffed French Toast is yummmmy and different than any French toast I’ve ever had. We also ordered a strawberry rhubarb turnover. It was delicious!!! I highly recommend Breadboard to anyone who appreciates good food.

We had a breakfast at this place during our Oregon trip and it was very nice! Great and tasty food, very polite and smily staff. Nice morning atmosphere with a smell of fresh coffee and ham! Highly recommended!

This place was to die for! Miss Hannah and Carson treated us like friends. The mutligrain bread was amazing. They serve marionberry jam with nearly everything! This was the best eggs Benedict I have ever had. Unfortunately they were out of housemade muffins, but the marionberry scone did not dissappoint!

The service here was so amazing, and their menu was even better! I even ended up taking home a jar of their marionberry jam. And I Love their outdoor seating, the view is gorgeous. I hope to be back for another lovely brunch.

What a find! We are traveling up to Portland and Googled where to eat breakfast in Ashland. It was a delight! The food was amazing, the service outstanding and covid protocols were impeccable.

Great staff, prompt service, yummy food and large menu (although a few more vegan and vegetarian options wouldnt hurt).

Breadboard restaurant was a small breakfast and lunch place with outdoor seating. The whole family enjoyed their breakfast . The homemade buttermilk biscuits were yummy with gravy and our waiter Gar was one of the best Ive ever had. Thank you for the great service and food!

First off, great service! The bacon and sausage we enjoyed. The eggs were cooked liked home. I tried the special being the Marion berry and cream cheese filled French toast. My husband got the biscuits and gravy. The normal Grenache toast were okay. We all enjoyed the biscuits and gravy and would get again! Very clean with a different atmosphere seating with a beautiful view on the patio of the hills. Sorry, we ate all our food before I thought of pics.

Cozy small slice of a classic American breakfast and lunch cafe. Accommodating menu for most diets. Very friendly staff, with full service coffee bar serving local varietals. Food was ok, but on the oily side for my taste.

I have been eating breakfast here for 25 years and they never disappoint. Because theres not many tourists now there was no line to be seated and the food is always excellent!

Service was great very quick and full of smiles! Ive never been let down with their breakfasts but I was a bit let down with my $15 BLT. My nephew could have made the same exact sandwich and hes 10 years old.

Outstanding breakfast. Server gentleman was delightful and attentive. Coffee was never more than half empty. Server felt badly that egg whites did not mix well with the pesto omelette so he went way above and beyond and brought me the most delicious marionberry muffin. Will return next time Im in Ashland.

On point about 90% of the time with their bfast, friendly staff, honestly most days a 5, Id really love to see them have a curbside option, Im vaxd but they have such a packed entryway most mornings, plus Id order more if they went curbside, also love their biscuits and gravy highly recommend

Coworker called in an order for 3 things, nothing special.. The total came to $44 without a tip. Picked up order and got back to work only to find out they didnt make my order right, at all. Called in they said no problem they would remake it, headed back across town to pick up the CORRECT order only to be charged an extra $10 for the veggies they didnt add the first time.. You messed up the order, I shouldnt be charged PER VEGETABLE let alone at all... Needless to say I will NOT be going back!!!

Cute spot thats been around 38 years so, you know theyre doing something right! Bakery & restaurant, their homemade bread and rolls are used for their sandwiches. Magic mushroom omelet was amazing! Dont miss their homemade marionberry jam!

Country fried steak plus 1 pancake add peaches and biscuits and gravy meal...were sharing the pancake soooooo delicious...my gf and I have been in Ashland for 5 days so far and this is by far the best food we have had here the food is AMAZING...our waitress Kerri was attentive and extremely nice...overall best place ever you definitely should come here if you are in town.

I really like the breakfast gravy here. I would say for my money the breakfast gravy is the best in Rogie Valley. So many other places serve gravy that tastes like it came from a can or powdered mix but here it always tastes fresh. The Mountain Man always hits the spot when Im craving something salty and savory.

I have been going to the Bread Board for 30 years and loved the food and the Service. I am a local. A friend and I went there for brunch three weeks ago and we knew it was under new management and we assumed that the food and service would continue . Wrong.... the service was the worst we have ever had in our town, the young man who took out order was rude but we ordered any ways and we were served Chris’s waffle and by the time we received our waffles it was soggy when we said this to the waiter he replied, “ Take it home”! When I told him we would not be back the waiter told us,“your Choice”. My friend and I were so disappointed. Our favorite Restaurant for breakfast and lunch for 30 years was gone with the New Owner. It was special to my family. The wonderful service from Jim and Kerry was not there when we were there so I do not know if they stayed with the new owner, but if it was their days off we missed them and left saying to each other that there service should be trained by Jimand Kerry. As far as the quality of the food maybe it was the cook or maybe the Server taking to long to bring to us. We paid $20.00 for one waffle each and it was not good. We wanted to order the Marian pancakes but the Server said we would have to order the Special and if we didn’t order the Special then we would have to pay the Special price for just the pancakes. This was a change in the Bread Board policy. We will never return under this change of owner ship.

This is a great place to eat. Ive never had a bad meal here ever. Everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. I enjoy the ambiance as well. I always look forward to coming here when Im in Ashland.

Kerri was my server and pampered me with refills of my coffee and attentive service! The breakfast was delicious, the pancakes fluffy and the homemade marionberry jam was mouth-watering! I got the Full House Special of the Day and for some reason I thought it would be cheaper than the Regular Full House, but it was like $3 more - a total of $15.

I absolutely love breadboard. One of my favorite breakfast foods is biscuits and gravy, and breadboard’s is the all time best, 100%. Most places have sausage gravy, but breadboard’s is bacon! Makes it feel much more homemade from my family’s kitchen. So delicious. I have had other foods there as well, great plant based options. You can bring all your friends here! Love it. Would recommend, and do.

I stopped here for a quick lunch to take home, I was greeted by friendly staff, they were very accommodating when I forgot to ask for something on my sandwich. The iced tea is very good! The Ruben is the best Ruben I’ve ever had, the bread was amazing, I’ve never had rye bread that shocked me with how good it is, normally I love rye bread but this one is above love it’s the best bread ever.The sauces on my sandwich were unbelievable, I couldn’t stop eating this sandwich, I’ll be back for so many more. My husband has the French dip on sourdough because they were out of the roll, it looked very tasty and he said it was delicious. I love that they gave us pickles on the side and that it wasn’t a sweet pickle (gross). They were very clean and wore masks and kept distance which I appreciate because I’m pregnant and because of the pandemic. This has definitely turned out to be my favorite sandwich place and I’m very picky :p
