THEY DONT HAVE ICE CREAM ANYMORE. We drove all the way here to get some and the building is being torn down and turned into a car wash. Just wanting others to know:)However they did have a cool mini golf set-up and Italian ice.

I got the dirty turtle frozen custard with root beer shaved ice. I wasnt expecting much, but my brother (who got vanilla with root beer shaved ice) and I were surprised. We both got a medium gelatis, which had plenty of shaved ice going down the middle to the bottom. The dirty turtle was a chocolatey, creamy ice cream like flavor. Very good, my brother and I both loved it. Service was friendly when we went, prices are reasonable. The minigolf was a fun time killer for a few bucks per person. Go down with eight dollars and get a treat for two people, especially on a nice warm day. Youll thank yourself

Love swinging in here for an Italian ice. Delicious food and friendly staff. Out back they have a mini golf course and batting cages. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. They also have a drive through.

Very good place to take kids for mini golf and custard. Get the golf and cone package...however, you only have until July 14th to get custard. They are closing the custard area for a car wash.

It was great! it was my first time there, i got one of their custards of the day (cookie jar). it was very delicious. it was a little busy but it didnt stop them from giving fast service which i appreciate.

I was so surprised at how good the birthday cake flavor tasted! Im craving it until the next time its offered. I love that this local business supports local non-profits too.

Fun lil place! The flavors change daily and the calendar is available online so you can scope out options before you go. In the spring/summer you can have fun playing mini golf. The sundaes are big, but so delicious.

Its not as good as Ritas. Their texture is way rougher. Not creamy at all

This place sold out to be a car wash! Theres a new one going to built about a mile up the road and in case people dont know, theres one across the street from the Meadows, it sits behind the carpet store. So thats 3 car washes within a mile of each other and a 4th as you drive toward the city. Add the car wash at Sheetz, Turkey Hill in West Hanover and the wash in front of Turkey Hill that makes 7 car washes on 22! Really?!

I love golfing and I love ice cream so this I my favorite 2 in 1 place for the family and friends.

The perfect dessert after a meal at Mission B-B-Q. Save room because a small cone is plenty big and even with the melty goodness filling in between the B-B-Q, you still need a bit of room left in the belly for the cone! :-) Hubby had chocolate, I had vanilla. Both were very good.

The only thing here that I have ever purchased is the turtle Sunday. It is my favorite thing because it has hot fudge and caramel and pecans. I believe they use custard rather than ice cream.

Hands down Meadows simply makes the best custard ever! Please dont change the recipe. Weekly flavors are always good & different. A most-go-to place.

Best custard in the area. I got a small gelato - vanilla custard & orange cream Italian ice, its one of my go-to treats here. The other is the turtle. I am not sure why turtles are so hard to find (vanilla custard, pecans, caramel, hot fudge). You havent lived till you have turtle Sunday, and they make a super one here. They also have batting cages, a video arcade & miniature golf!

Everything is great from mini golf to the custard! We frequently go on golf and custard dates and our daughter LOVES the Italian ice (so do we!). The staff is friendly and quick. We never have to wait and everything is always clean! I grew up with Meadows and I was so happy when I moved to Harrisburg and found this location was just like home!

Quality of ice cream has deteriorated. No fruit in strawberry, banana, blueberry: artificial flavors being used now. Not what it was when it first opened. Store Id clean and employees are very pleasant and helpful.

I love this place to bring my son for a fun afternoon. We enjoy the batting cages and mini golf and cap the day with a nice cup of ice cream. Ice cream is good and we always walk away with big smiles on our faces!

Great place to stop in on a hot summer evening for their gelatos which is a combination of Italian Ice & ice cream together. I also love frozen custard! The best I have found in the area. Very busy at times. However the lines moved quickly. So many flavors to choose from. I used the drive thru mostly. They have a clean inside place to sit if its too hot outside! Clean restrooms. Very efficient, friendly & I always got more than I could eat! I like this place over many others. Affordable treat liked by everyone.

Went here at 930 pm on a Friday night. I was in the ice cream shop and my friends were at the top of the hill paying for mini golf. My friend texted and said card reader was down to pay in ice cream shop for golf. I went to the counter at 9:35 pm and said can I pay for mini golf and a drink. The girl said no we stop accepting payment for mini golf at 930 pm. I said my friends are paying at the top of the hill and told me to pay while I was here cause the car reader doesn’t work up there. She said no they won’t be able to play it’s after 930. I said they did pay they told me and now I have to sit out because I was here using the bathroom. She said my manager doesn’t allow it after 930. I walked out and went to meet my friends and the young lady was on the phone with the ice cream shop. They told her we could play but will have to stop at 10 pm no matter how far we are. If you go to a restaurant they serve you even if you walk in 5 minutes before they close. This is so wrong that we couldn’t play. There was only 4 of us. Will never come here again.

Last year our cub scout pack had a pack night at The Meadows, enjoying golf, batting cages, the arcade & some custard. Needless to say, the boys (and parents) loved it and requested that we do it again this year! The owner, Tarence, is great to work with. Thanks for a family friendly environment & great custard!

Absolutely love the Meadows. By far the best frozen custard within a hundred miles - probably within 1000 miles, since Ted Drewes in St Louis is the only place Ive ever been that was better.

The custard is 5 stars! Excellent treats!! The young staff seemed a bit uninformed about the product and could not answer questions about the ingredients in specific flavors. Otherwise, a five-star stop for sure!

Always love this place. Check their website for which flavor they are making that day, since they make their own stuff and the flavors change daily. I have to catch them on an Orange Dreamsicle day, but their Butter Pecan was perfect.

We really like miniature golf. We picked the perfect weekend to go.

Always a favorite!Wouldnt recommend the Peanut Butter as a sundae topping though. Very bland, tastes like marshmallow was mixed in.

The Meadows Original Frozen Custard is found in Harrisburg and has more then just ice cream its a entertaining experience to say the least with an arcade, batting cages, mini golf, a pavilion for parties, and who can forget the, creamy along with tasty frozen custards.

This is some of the best custard ever plus you can go play a game of putt-putt golf, which is always fun.

My favorites are Mango and Root Beer Italian Ice - so tasty, and gluten-free so theyre safe for me to eat.

The meadow is a great way to get the fam together because what kid doesnt like driving and if your not in the mood for ice cream there are food places surrounding it great place and i rate it 5 stars 6 if there were more because its just an amazing place for kids that like to drive,play baseball and kids that like to golf .I WILL NEVER FORGET GOING TO THE MEADOWS (a.k.a a great place)I would also recommend the sports emporium and city island for active kids go to the sport emporium for more calm kids i recommend city island in the summer only for city island
