This store is beautiful and carries very high quality furniture. However, their sales practices are shifty and their customer service is awful. We overpaid for a sofa after we were told this was the best price. The next week, it was several hundred dollars cheaper and they would not budge even though the couch would take 8 weeks to arrive. They offered us some store credit and encouraged us to use it on clearance items, but only to rescind this offer when we actually tried to purchase a piece on clearance (only after they couldnt find record of our credit for 24 hours). I did verify 3 times with 3 different store employees that we could use it on clearance, only to be told the piece was out of stock (it was not but they did not want to apply our credit). Overall, disappointed. We wont be back, and honestly, I dont think the brand or individual store cares. In my opinion, they dodge taking ownership and focus on the high pressure sale.

Delivery for my Mickey rug was on time! The delivery guys were very nice. I’ve been happy with all my purchases from Ethan Allen.

Barbara at the Akron location was wonderful to work with. Barbara gave me great ideas, kept my budget in mind and really listened to what I wanted. I loved working with her and am very pleased with my purchase!

We had such a wonderful experience dealing with everyone at Ethan Allen. Starting with Lisa in the Boardman store. With her interior design degree she came up with a furniture layout that emphasizes our fireplace and large picture window. She somehow managed to change a very long living room and make it a cozy conversation area. We waited a couple of months for the furniture to finally arrive. This was due to the fact we had the couch and chairs custom covered, again with much help from Lisa. We just love our new living room and the great quality furniture we will enjoy for many years to come.This was a bit of a confusing time for the Boardman store as they were closing. So we also had to deal with people from the Akron store. Marilyn did a great job with scheduling our delivery, and we can’t say enough about the amazing delivery guys who managed to get the couch in our home. They took great care of our new furniture and our home as it was snowy and sloppy outside. Thank you all very much and Merry Christmas!

I absolutely love this place! Their showroom is large with varied styles of the Ethan Allen line and the salespeople and designers are friendly. I make the trip down from Cleveland for better selection and less stuffy service. Its worth the short trip. Ask for Emily. Shes pretty great.

Don’t bother ordering from this store, order online. They are the first to tell you they are privately owned, which should have been a warning. Customer service is terrible, delivery is disorganized and overpriced, and if you disagree you get the privilege of speaking to a manager without authority to fix anything.

Limited selection. We ended up going up north where they have a more extensive showroom.
