I ordered groceries yesterday which added up to $167.18 Walmart put $487.18 on hold. I called the 800-Walmart number the guy said it would take 2-7 business days to go back into my account. So when you make a order you better look and see what they took out. I will not use them again. Who has $487.18 they can afford to be taken out for 2-7 days that they didn’t spend! I’m so mad.

Love this store. Its smaller and easier to shop. Everyone is sweet and helpful.

I am a little bias because I already love Neighborhood Walmarts (compared to the supermarkets). Its so easy to find what you need. I was very impressed with this location. Store was very clean and organized and the staff was so nice. My fiance cant have gluten and I was surprised at the selection of gluten-free items. Would definitely recommend this location.

I love this Alabaster neighborhood market! I make a 40 minute drive from Hoover to shop here, because they are the ONLY Walmart that carries a product I like. They are always stocking shelves, the produce is fresh and plentiful, the store is clean and well organized and they always have what I need in stock. It is never overly crowded and overwhelming like your typical Walmart. 5 stars.

Went here on a sunday the day before Labor Day hoping there would still be something to work with for the week, to my surprise they had almost a little of everything. I asked two people if they had this certain drink in the back, one said no off the rip without letting me finish my sentence. I walked around until I found a worker that helped me earlier with a great attitude, and I asked him the same question. He goes to the back and finds two of them. I havent been there in a LONG time! I definitely dont like that theyve changed every lane to self checkout. I work to pay for groceries. Not to shop for them, work for walmart by scanning and bagging, then give them MY money, and I JUST worked for THEM. Doesnt make sense. I wont go back.

Horrible service.... self check outs as the only option while teenage employees and young adults under 21 years that are emoyeed there brag about their wages yet stand around talking and vaping on the job is not a store I care to revisit.

I travel from Hoover to this location because I love this store. They always have what Im looking for and the customer service is excellent! This is why I travel that far instead of the Valledale road location.

Convenient without having to go by the Super Walmart and spending money I dont need to. My issue is they always seem to be out of the items I need and on several occasions, I have noticed expired milk in the cooler. ALWAYS CHECK THE DATE 1ST.

Our neighborhood Walmart Market took a poor shopping experience and made it even worse with total self-checkouts. The store isnt very clean. Employees not helpful. Fresh vegetables and fruits have been poor quality. Even though the prices are great, Ill pay the difference to shop across the street at Publix.

It is not a super-center. The store is very clean. The staff is on top of the help game. Mallory in customer service gets 5 stars herself. She gave me the address so I could pay my phone bill. Im not from Alabaster so that was a great help. Bessemer Wal-Mart needs to send employees to train at this location. All in all a enjoyable grocery shopping trip.

Worst shopping experience ever. Pallets line the isles making it difficult for shoppers to pass each other. Why would they have people getting close to each other by blocking the isles during a pandemic. They removed all cashier lanes and now everything is self checkout. Why would I want to take away employment for someone by doing there job for free. Will not be shopping there again.

Located right next to my office. Always very clean and the staff is always very helpful. Not as well stocked as a super center but they always have pretty much all you might need.

I waited several minutes before soliciting the attention of employees for assistance at the customer service desk. With all the cameras in the store, I wasn’t seen. Cmon now, laziness exists here. Not sure if I’d return. You need to do better Alabaster.

This used to be my favorite neighborhood market. Yesterday I went in and the check out was changed to all self checkout. Unless doing a grocery pickup, I dont think I will be back.

We ran inside today for the first time to pick up a few items. It was very crowded with shoppers but the cashiers were quickly getting them out of the store. The produce section looked well organized and we went to the freezer pizzas. Nice selection on hand. We did not go into other areas of the store.

The total self check out is ridiculous, hardly anyone around them. If you have to buy cigarettes, or cleaning products on top of what your purchasing. If have to pay for them first then go to self check out to finish you purchasing. The most stupidest thing I have ever seen.

They do a good job of keep stocked up. Very nice people with a smile.

Only self check out, as with most walmart everything is a mess, not the workers fault, Walmarts greedy and doesnt hire enough workers.

Easy to access, clean and stocked with alot organic items I use. Staff is knowledgeable, kind, and professional evedytime I visit.

I frequent this store and try to check out at a particular persons line. This evening (7/25/19) I was able to get in her line (line 2 at 5:00). She is the nicest and most pleasant person in the world. I wont mention any names, but hope that management sees the value that this person brings to their store.

As usual, this Wal Mart is not a good experience. Items are constantly being moved around. Shelves are needing stocked and items get discontinued on a regular basis. Also, there isnt enough stock to supply the community. They are constantly out of things and any complaint or request to management falls on deaf ears. Often times I travel to Chelsea to find items not carried at this location. To me, shopping here is a challenge. Not recommended.

Where has the customer service gone? The store is completely SELF CHECKOUT. (bananas).There is an observer only if you have a problem with the checkout. The prices arent any cheaper when you have to choose the groceries and bag them yourself.Not to mention the drama if you pay with cash. The lines are even longer when waiting to get to an empty checkout. Slow slow slow when people are not use to checking themselves out Besides this idea has eliminated jobs from the employees.

Had a online pickup order and was able to get the order in store at the customer service desk within 5 min of walking through the front door. The employee was helpful and found my order after a brief search, the app and barcode scanning were not working but she was able to find my order very quickly after pulling up my order information. I got the Pixel 3 charger for $20 off so it was a great deal with free pickup in store.

I just moved into the neighborhood and was in here for the first time.is a very nice store. Clean and neat. Spacious and organized. I was impressed add a first time customer and hope that it doesnt change. Didnt have any interaction with any employees but hopefully they are nice as well

Love being able to shop for grocery products online and having them brought to the car! Ive despised grocery shopping for as long as I can remember and this is the perfect alternative! Jacob at the Alabaster location is the best! Always friendly and has a smile on his face. 😊

Ive always gotten great service at the gas station right outside of this location. My dog always comes with me to get gas there so she can get a car ride. Today, the attendant had a few dog treats waiting for me when I went to pay for gas and a couple of snacks. It definitely made my dogs day, but Im also a happy momma now! I truly appreciate the awesome customer service.

Hate the self checkouts

I love our marketplace, but I get a bit tired of checking myself out when I am tired after a hard days work.We had a store as such when I lived in FL, but you sacked your own grocery and saved money because of it.Maybe offer customers who check themselves out and sack their own grocery a % off.

I enjoy going in the grocery store everyone is polite to me. Ask me if I need help with anything. I also love the drive threw Pharmacy I get some of my meds here and they are fairly reasonably.

Normal Walmart, trying to offer less services, checking out, but as normal lots of products to choose from.

Very clean and organized. Well stocked, found everything I needed, and an employee pointed me in the right direction to find what I couldnt. Bathrooms were clean and had supplies such as paper and soap. Loved the self check out machines, makes stop quicker.

This WalMart Neighborhood Mkt is THE best. I drive 4.6 mi to this one even though there is one less than a mile from my house. It is worth it. The store is always organized neatly & everything kept clean.Their shelves RARELY look low on product. The entire staff is friendly & helpful even late at night. The stockers are polite even when I have to come through the area they are working AND they always ask if they can help find anything. The deli/ bakery is by far the best of any WMNH mkt I have ever purchased from. I seriously cant think of anything negative about this store.

Found what I was looking for.

I used the pick up service on my way home from work. They did a great job on my order and I didnt have to get any substitutes. The parking lot for pick up orders is a bit tricky. There are signs posted on where to park but, you have to drive all the way around to where the spaces are numbered to see the signs on the number to call when you arrive. I tried to use the app that lets them know when I arrived and that didnt work. Not sure if it was the app, the user, or the store. The customer service was great and Ill definitely use this store again for pick up orders. Especially now that I know the tricks to the parking lot.

Normally Im a very happy WalMarket Shopper. But today my cashier was more interested in talking to the cashier across from her and every other employee that passed by her and I didnt even get so much as a hello did you find everything or even the total of my purchase...I did get a good bye.
