This is a really nice family owned grocery store with really great staff and Im grateful they are near my office building. They are more expensive than some grocers, but when you consider their location, and they dont have the buying power of a Walmart, its not terrible, plus, youre supporting a local business, not a global company.Besides being super friendly, they really have good quick foods in their deli area. Some of my favorite examples include fried chicken, okra and breakfast burritos.Its also worth noting, for such a small store, they really have packed in the types of groceries they sell, but not in such a way to make the store hard to navigate.If you work and or live downtown, I recommend supporting this locally owned and operated grocery. I believe youll be happy with your experience.

Neighborhood market, with lots more inventory than your local mom and pop shop, but on a far more accessible scale than the big chain supermarkets. Excellent customer service.

This is a Good Place to get food. Meat is fresh. Bread is soft . plenty of soda pop to choose from. Fresh donuts pastry.

Very clean friendly place. There assortment of hot foods (chicken,burritos,steak-fries, lasagna and salads )OF all kinds looked so temptingly delicious. I wish I had the time to try them all but I settled for the Chicken, steak-fries burritos and of course the recommended lasagna delish. Very recommend you will not be disappointed. Got to go ALL ABOARD.

Made a quick visit to this shop to grab a breakfast sandwich, couple of extra croissants, and water before my train ride to Chicago. Compared to the food and prices on the train this was a great bargain. The croissants were very large and perfect for morning breakfast in the train.The stores is rather small, but has enough items to grab before a train ride. The service is quick, as Im sure they are used to people making a quick stop before or in between train rides

I no longer live downtown, but when in downtown (my pharmacy is around the corner) I always stop in Silver Street Market to grab a few things. I absolutely love this groceria/market. Although not as big as most full service grocery stores, they virtually have about anything one could need. Their produce is always fresh with organic options. Their meats are surprisingly priced within reason considering this is an independent market. I, also, really appreciate how helpful and friendly the employees are. Friendly employees usually is indicative of happy employees which means they are probably treated well by management and feel appreciated. My only slight grievance is that I wish they would add Monster Java options to their large assortment of energy drinks. But, hey, no store is perfect, right? lol.

I like many things about this little store. Its nearby so I have a sense of hyper local being able to go in. There are all sorts of folks that are in there on a given day and I especially appreciate that the management is kind towards the ones that are less fortunate. It takes the sting out of some of the higher prices, but I do know smaller places need to charge a bit more. Overall they have a good balance. The deli is nice! Good selections. A liquor aisle. Kombucha, too. If there was more organic produce I would shop there even more. Its a great corner grocery store!

This is only 1 of 2 super markets downtown. Both are pricey compared to Walmart but they are more convenient. This place is clean and well kept and the layout is easy to get around and the employees are friendly. They do have specials on numerous items from time to time.

Nice little grocery shop. Friendly checkout. Police security at door.. Convenient 5 minutes from Amtrak and greyhound station. Much better food and variety than Amtrak cafe for sure.

Staff seems to always be in a great mood and very helpful. Sometimes even fun, which is a breath of fresh air! Items are consistently well stocked at average prices. But I sincerely recommend walking into this store if youre downtown for any reason on a hot day just to experience the air conditioning system this place has. It might have literally saved my life a few times. Then, grab a cheaply prices Gatorade (which always seems to be on sale or have a sale price), your favorite pint of Ben & Jerrys (I recommend strawberry cheesecake) and continue on your way, cooler than before temperature-wise and only that much more able to enjoy what ABQs downtown area has to offer in the good ol American Southwest. Selection is decent, prices are sky high. Id only recommend shopping here if youre local and this is the only place you can get to. Otherwise, skip it.

This grocery store had meatloaf slices that were really wide slices. The deli workers were really very nice and made sure everyone was being helped.

I stayed at an air bnb right around the corner. They have a pretty large selection of food and liquor will definitely come back if I’m in the area again.

This is an excellent inner city grocery stop!! Pretty much anything you need will be here in one brand or another.. Staff has impeccable service from the floor to the cashiers!! Product is always fresh and on point!

The place was not crowded, which is a good thing. They also had a good assortment of fresh fruit and meat. It was great.

Were regulars. Great store. They have everything here with only a small markup on some things for being in a convenient location. Staff are always friendly and take time to greet you on arrival and wish you a good day on your way out. Never too crowded. Mask rules enforced for the most part.

This place is great. A bit too pricey to do a full grocery trip here for me, but its a great place to pick up items for a meal or some forgotten items. The employees are very nice and helpful, and the store is very clean. They also have a great local beer selection.

I go to Silver St Market on a regular basis and havent had a single instance where I left unsatisfied. They always have meat specials that beat the large chain stores. All of the employees have great attitudes and its obvious that they like where they work. Great place for every day shopping when you want to support a local business rather than a huge warehouse.

I would have gave this business zero stars if Google would have let me.They wont let a disabled or some with a breathing condition in with out a mask I even had my service dog. This market has everything I need. Because it’s walking distance, I go there at least twice a week to buy fresh meat and produce. The raw meat section is exceptional. If I want some thing they don’t have, a kind request to the butcher and he will special make it for me. Great wine and beer selection.

Went in when was paying for items cashiers were rude threw my stuff and broke my eggs and when i wanted to exchange she said no that i had picked them out like that and ot was my problem. Will post this about that stire in all media everywhere so people can know the way people are there and how they treat customers. Manager was called and he as well was very rude and asked me to wait outside for my bags to be taken out for me so i left and they didnt even give me my money back.

I am able to get my coffee and chicory there,no one else in town has it.We have always been treated well and employees are friendly and helpful.I have also noticed that the management and employees treat everyone respectfully regardless of their situation.

As an out of towner I was very glad to find this little place so close to the train. It had a good selection of cold drinks and everyone was good about Covid distancing and wearing masks.

Love this place. Best shopping for those who live downtown and dont want to travel up the hill to Smiths or, god forbid, walmart. The staff is awesome. Never had a bad experience here, and I have been going almost once every 2-3 days for well over a year now. Prices arent as low as the big chain stores, but Ive never felt like anything was overpriced here. Great hot/cold deli, great alcohol selection for its size, and always a clean and never crowded environment, which is especially nice during the covid era.

I love the Silver Street Market. I found the prices and selection are great. I like that the store is carpeted, which makes shopping quiet and pleasing. I believe in supporting local businesses. I will be a repeat customer.

I like this market because it has a time portal in the cereal isle, and if your good at phase shifting from one dimension to another, its a great portal to do so. Has soft velvet edges, its very clean, didnt see a single ghost... I use this portal all the time to go to the 23rd circle and play laser tag with those wookiee looking creatures (the ones we all see in our dreams from time to time). Also the staff is friendly and they have fresh produce, real fresh produce...Overall I give it 11 moons out of 5 stars... I know, easier said then done, but I do it because I care.Also, very original name. Silver street market is actually on silver street, so there zero confusion...Keep up the great job folks, you all deserve cake, really top shelf cake. Someone who knows how to make upscale cake really needs to get on that, cause they have earned it!

Best meat prices in town with butcher there daily for custom cuts.

Its a grocer for the neighborhood (near university and downtown), nothing to go out of your way for. Difficult parking. You can find what you need, customer service was fine.

They have pretty good selection of fruits and veggies they also have a deli in the back and meats to choose from their vitamin section isnt very big but it is towards the front I was able to get basic groceries for what I needed it will come in handy thank you silver market

This is a great little bodega/neighborhood grocery! The Silver Street Market staff is friendly and helpful, the store is clean and tidy, and locals love the bakery and deli counter for its affordable quick meals. If you’re stopping in to shop, this store has a little bit of everything for everyone - adult libations, fresh produce, home, baby, and pet products, a large variety of cold drinks, as well as a fun selection of ‘retro’ candy you’ll remember from your childhood! As a smaller establishment it’s to be expected that brand variety is limited and grocery prices are higher than average, but the location and ease of supporting a fantastic local business outweighs any negatives!

A tad bit pricey . Just like other locally owned grocery stores they over price on everything even generic products.Consumers pay for their fancy stores by overpaing for their items sold.

During the last 30 minutes before closing, I made a quick stop at Silver Street Market. First impressions really do have an effect on new customers. The market was remarkably spotless. I was pleased to shop in a store that was visually appealing and the face fronted products in each aisle all neatly lined and stocked.Bonus points for having my favorite local chips in stock, New Mexico Red Chile chips.Kudos to night shift employee for doing an awesome job fronting and facing.

The BEST grocery store in the city! ALWAYS immaculate, great selection, the friendliest staff in the world, and its NEVER over crowded. Plus, my puppy Baxter is ALWAYS welcome because theyre dog friendly. Oh, and, the lottery ticket machine is freaking LUCKY ☘️I refuse to shop anywhere else!

Im a regular. This place was so needed as a grocery go-to in the downtown area, and they really run a great mid size market. Considering the obstacles they face daily in the downtown area, they really do a great job with this market. Food is always fresh, and staff and management are always friendly, in my experience.

UPDATE: produce has improved but still not the best quality.Produce alert! I would have given this store a five star review as they are friendly, convenient, have been shopping here since they opened. The quality of the produce went downhill, the last 4-6 weeks.Ill notify the manager instead of just taking goods back. Hopefully I can adjust this review soon!

For a little corner store this place has got some great food! They have a little deli in the back where you can buy meals and the food is always so good, especially on enchilada day!

Great store Central to Albuquerque downtown, nice friendly staff. They carry shur fine brand so if that is anything you care about. Its reasonable priced and had some alternative stuff too.
