Its a good time to shop with clearance signs all over the store. I ended up buying a bunch of beautiful artificial flowers for 70 per cent off. Very helpful and friendly service.

Very clean establishment with a two-floor setup. They have many things, but this isnt a very large Michaels, so finding what you need can be limiting. For instance, there isnt a fabric section, although they have a very small area with .5yd fabrics and smaller fabric sizes. The stars means okay, and not bad. Its just such a limited selection of things compared to its competitor that I wouldnt come here for anything.

Great store. Lots of great deals. Love the two floors. Sophia at the register was so kind and patient. She was all by herself with a line and a phone that she was responsible for answering. She juggled all of her responsibilities very well and we greatly appreciate her attitude. I do not appreciate that she was all by herself and responsible for answering the phone on a busy day. You should staff more employees at the registers. Sophia handled it well but she shouldnt have to do it all alone. Its not fair to your employees.

Had to ask 3 different employees where I can find mechanical pencils and nobody has a clue. They are not in aisle 19. Wasted my time in that store. But that’s ok, it won’t happen ever again.

At first when I walked into the store it looked big, bright and organized. However, I asked the clerk where the acrylic blocks were. She replied by asking me what an acrylic block was. Then I asked where the stamps were for card making. She said, you mean like a postage stamp? I suddenly wondered if I actually walked into a Michaels or a different store. I finally found the paper crafts section in a corner of the basement. I have never seen such a poor selection of stamps and other card making supplies in a Michaels before! And they dont even have something as basic as acrylic blocks! And things were poorly displayed. The store appeared to only have two employees. One checker upstairs and one floor clerk down stairs. Neither seemed very familiar with their product. I live on the West Coast an only visiting here in Alexandria. Are all Michaels stores like this out here??? Our Michaels in WA state are super well stocked, better staffed and much more knowledgeable.

No employee was wearing a mask. Is it an official policy that employees can’t wear them? I haven’t seen that kind of behavior anywhere inside the beltway. Back to buying my supplies online :( I know Michael’s isn’t a small business but I tried to support brick and mortar and let my kids pick out some art supplies. If you are immunocompromised or unvaxxed, might want to avoid.

BEWARE OF FRAMING DEPT! Do not have fine art pieces mounted here. They will ruin original pieces by using glue in the process which creates long term and permanent damage. If you ever wish to reframe a piece you will find that your artwork is glued to to the matting and frame rendering the piece unusable.

This is a really great Micheals!I had no idea it was on 2 levels! It has a large selection of frames for your pictures, along with other items typically found at a Michaels store! The store was clean and not terribly crowded. The staff is very friendly, too. This is a great Michaels to visit for Alexandria residents and is conveniently located in the Bradlee Shopping Center.

Always go to this Michaels its 2 floors but, even so, I think there are bigger ones. However, this one is my prefered as the shopping center has so much to offer imo. Plus, its never in too much disaray.

Winter is coming..bring out the crafts. 4 stars because usually minimal staff.

Came here to get several items framed for my mom’s birthday, the employees were extremely helpful and the end product was perfect! My initial reaction was that it was a bit pricey but she absolutely loved it so I can’t complain.

Michaels had many of the craft supplies that I was looking for and at good prices. I also love how they always offer great coupons for rewards cards holders.

I was absolutely impressed with this store. There are two levels; the upper level has art supplies and frames while the lower level has seasonal, clothing, plant decorations, and baking. The store is clean and organized and even though it is the holiday, I was in and out under 30 minutes.I would definitely drive 30 minutes to visit this store again.

This store is clean, well kept, and the employees are very friendly. They are always attentive and go above and beyond when I need their help. 2020 specific: They are maintaining good social distance standards, there is hand sanitizer available at every register, and all the employees are masked up.

A fairly decent place for chain restaurant. Their steaks are good and priced as expected. Do not expect a dry-aged quality steak and you wont be disappointed. Service is above average. Of all the chain steak place that offer the same price rangenin the area, this is my go to.

Its easy to place an online order but actually picking up your item in store is a mess. If you go to the kiosk and press the button to call for assistance, youll be waiting there awhile. Go through the checkout line for faster assistance.

I was directed by Amazon to return a item via UPS but the cashiers didnt know and couldnt direct me properly as to where a UPS store was located so that the label could be extracted from my phone, sent to me by Amazon. Seeing that I was handicapped and very confused as how I could reprint the label, she offered no assistance!!

Times are tough right now and we should all make it easy for one another during these times. I have always shopped at Michaels because they have really good prices and more selections of art and craft supplies. I been to this Michaels a couple of times but this experience has been the worst. I have worked in retail before myself but the attitude that I received from the employees from this location was disappointing. They had their prices marked wrong on an item and when I try to use a coupon that they sent me as part of my loyal rewards card gave me attitude instead of helping me understand why they couldn’t. I wish they made it clear or put it in their fine print that coupons cannot be used on prices marked wrong in stores especially when it is a regular priced item. In the end they ended up giving me the coupon which I appreciated but gave me attitude while doing so. I pray that whatever the team members are going through becomes easy for them. The attitude and unwilling customer service I received from the team members makes me feel like I am not appreciated or valued as a loyal customer here to even receive a bit of kindness therefore I won’t be coming back to this location.

I love michaels but not this Michaels, their online pick up at this location is so unorganized and they have forgotten things in my order yet still charged me for them... they also consistently take way longer to put your order together then the 7 corners location, I can’t stand this location to the point that I’m just gonna drive the extra couple of miles to go to their 7 corners store... there is no reason why an order placed before y’all even open should then not be ready when you’re closing with the same day guarantee... I’ve only done 2 pick up orders at this store and I’m not doing it again because it’s nothing but issues... I’ve never been rude and I just keep having bad experiences here and it sucks because I buy stuff from Michaels weekly and would love to just go to the one closest to me 🤦🏼‍♀️😩

The location is perfect, parking isn’t an issue, it’s clean and organized, the staff is always willing to help when you are confused about items and lookout for any savings you may have missed. I enjoy going to this Michaels, it’s a warm and welcoming store. Also, it’s an addicting place, they have so many great items.

Ive been to several different Michaels throughout the area, this was by far has a better selection for a multitude of crafts. Four stars simply because some of the staff were rude.

I havent been in this store in a long time. We walked all around both upstairs and downstairs. Very clean with very friendly employees. There were a lot of sales going on with fully stocked shelves. It was a nice and relaxing visit.

Staff was super friendly! The layout of this store is a little weird, and I frequented the shopping center during a downtime so parking wasnt an issue, but I would return. It doesnt have the fine art variety or pricing of Blick, but its at least more accessible.

Best Michael’s I have been in! Selection was wonderful and entire team was very friendly and helpful! Jessica and Angelina really went above and beyond and all team members were very friendly and helpful with a big holiday shop full of lots of questions. Will be back!

Smaller than most Michaels stores, but I think its less overwhelming because of that. Has two floors, but theres an elevator and escalator. Always clean and well-organized. Their bathroom is clean, too. Very convenient location.

I needed an odd sized frame and couldnt find anything that would work. A very helpful clerk led me to exactly what I needed. It wad hidden behind something larger and I would not have found it on my own.

Great store with tons of supplies, but the associates are not the most helpful. Im new to knitting and needed some assistance, but there were no associates around downstairs. After several minutes I finally found one who was helpful in finding what I wanted.

RUDE. While we all go through a pandemic together, a little courtesy would be nice. One of Michaels employees, Briana, couldnt be bothered to wear her mask over her mouth and nose. When confronted, she got rude and stormed off. The manager basically couldnt be bothered to address the issue with his employee. Save yourself a headache and go to another store. Rude employees suck.

This Michaels is always busy, but dont let the lines dissuade you. The cashiers here are expedient, and you get through the line in no time. The store is also well organized and easy to get to. I definitely prefer this store to the one in Seven Corners.

There are always amazing sales on baskets, florals, picture frames, jewelry, or other craft supplies. Also perfect for gift ideas, especially around the holidays. I love the art kits and kids toys. Sign up for cake decorating, jewelry making, or other craft project classes they offer.

My visit to that Michaels was excellent no crowds no lines. The young lady who checked me out actually ran out to my care to the car because I forgot my bunny tail sign!

The staff here is extremely friendly. They are very knowledgeable of the store. I would have provided this location 5 stars however once on the elevator inside of the store I pushed the button to go down to the lower level of the store and not knowing which lower level button to push because there are two lower level buttons and while on the elevator the back of the elevator behind me opened up and it was extremely dark and spooky with several boxes there. I almost jumped out of my skin. Something like in a horror movie.

Its Michael was in Alexandria Virginia. And Chuck its two stories. Ive never been to a two-story Michaels. They had everything I was looking for plus a lot more. Really enjoyed this visit.

Its very good if you are into arts and crafts. Also if you are looking for a late Christmas gift for your nephew or something. It also very nice place if you need something for you house like, a small carpet or a door matt. Honestly I think the location is good because after you get your shopping done you can go get yourself a bite to eat.
