My rep, Walter Moxham, a well as other staff have always been friendly and courteous and willing to explain my car needs. I have absolutely no intention to go to any other shop.

Hands down the best car buying experience I have had. From browsing online to talking to Mo on the phone to finally coming in and dealing with Ryan in finance and driving away, I could not ask for more. We bought two cars that day and they were wonderful. Gave us a great price, not OVER sticker like every other dealer kept telling us we would have to pay. Kept us informed every step of the way while they were completing our paperwork and did everything they said they would do. We actually felt like we were dealing with family. They were excellent, straight forward, didnt try to upsell us on the car, extras in financing, nothing. Just explained our options and let us decide what was best for us. As a woman buying a car, I have to say that this was a breath of fresh of air. They talked to me, not just my husband. Wonderful experience. Thank you Passport!
My airbag light was on and I was told $4200+ I repairs were needed. Also, another $5000 in needed repairs-brakes, tires, etc. I took it elsewhere for a second opinion. He did not find the same airbag issue when he hooked up the car to diagnostics. They also tried to reset the system, and the airbag light went off. It might come back on, but the dealer didn’t even try a system reset. The other issues-brakes & tires-will need to be addressed but aren’t dire, like they were presented to me. This experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth. No one was looking out for me- just saw it as an opportunity to make money off of me.

Our lease of a 2018 Murano was nearing its end and we were researching our next vehicle. Was getting my car appraised today. And had previously told salesman Tyler, who contacted me, that I already have a offer ready from Carvana for a certain price and that i would come in if they can beat it. And he told me to come in. So i go and they offered me the same number. So I showed him an offer that was $100 more. And told him that you guys didnt beat the offer that we discussed. So he started yo give me an attitude and told me that they dont play my dirty game. Which I didnt. I just asked for them to do what they said theyll do. So he told me to take my keys and leave and that he doesnt have time to play games.I just think that was very unprofessional and rude from him. I was insulted by something that I didnt do.Just wanted to leave this here
I had a positive experience with Passport Nissan on 9/4/21. My son and I found a vehicle we were interested in and our salesperson Riko was outstanding. He explained all the specifics of the car and was helpful with explaining finance options. Most car purchasing experiences are tedious and long however this experience was one of the best Ive ever had.
Great service. I came there to have the damaged door window frame repaired and regular maintenance. The replacement part was ordered and arrived quickly. The regular maintenance found some issue that the local car repair store didnt notice. And Ashleigh was being very helpful from beginning to the end.
I had a great experience with this dealership. I traded a car and bought a new one. We were there for about 5 hours but that included inspecting my old car, detailing the new one AGAIN, negotiating,and all the paperwork. Everyone was super nice and helpful.

I found the car I’d been wanting for a long time~ it had low mileage and was priced way below others at other places with the same or even more mileage~ so, I was very excited! Being that I found it online and it did say “Delivery Available” I was even more excited, because I live several states away. But, the delivery option was only local, which I didn’t think was fair if the dealership is advertising their vehicles nationally. Nonetheless, it was worth it to me to drive up and get it, however they would not take any payment from me~ I couldn’t do a down payment, I couldn’t pay for it in full. Therefore, I couldn’t get them to hold it for me even though I was going to drive 400 miles. They would not prevent other customers from buying it~ we had to drive up there and be there when they opened in hopes it would still be there. That was Extremely frustrating! We would’ve immediately paid the down payment, which was big, to show them we were serious about coming up to get it. That and the fact that the delivery option was not available as advertised was very uncool! Thank God it was there!!! When we got there, they gentlemen were very nice, but it was very stressful not being certain it would be there. So, I give 3 stars only because the deal was excellent for the car, and the low mileage~

I usually get good service every time I come here. However, this last visit was awful. I brought my Murano for service and WALTER DID WHAT I DID NOT ASK FOR - resurfaced a brake rotor instead of replacing it. When I ask why the response I was given was basically because “I know that’s what you need”. Never consulted and never asked for my approval. Very unprofessional! On top of that, I had to wait a week to go back again and get a replacement. This was all a ripoff!! Never coming back for any service again.

Sayed the GM not willing to work with us. Service forced us to pay 5k on the car with the understanding that the car was fixed and ready for pick up. A mile up the street the car had the same issues. Filing with BBB, a class action, etc now....
I was drawn to the dealership by the advertised 125% of KBB for old vehicles with no strings attached. I received a good offer via email to come to the store, but that offer was not honored. I was told that I could get a better offer for my vehicle if I trade it in, which I was willing to do if I find the right car. I found the right car, but it was priced well over ($2,500 to be precise) its KBB and JD Power value. When I tried to negotiate the price down, I was given $777, but not more because the argument was “we already gave you much more for the trade-in.” And even though that statement was it correct according to their advertisement, they insisted that this is a sellers market and they cannot sell the car for the cash I was willing to give for it, neither did they reduce the price for me paying in cash, saying there is no deals for paying in cash anymore. I was completely appalled by the blatant disregard of the market value of the vehicle and felt trapped to comply with a price that is unreasonable in order to buy a car and let’s just say much older car (15 years old to be precise) which I wasn’t allowed to even go inspect myself with an independent mechanic! I was shocked and in complete disbelief that this is happening just outside our capital. I feel that Sam and Diaz were completely unreasonable to ask for such a high price and to put me in a bind with the trade in. This was a bad experience!

I have been coming to Passport Nissan for service since I bought my car there 7 years ago already. I usually go on the Service website to make an appointment but I have also just walked in for oil change service many times. Each one of them has been a very positive experience. Ive always opted to wait for the job to be done and they manage my expectations very well as to the time of completion. You also get a free exterior car wash!I trust the technicians and sales advisors. Only on a few occasions have they recommended additional and costly service and/or part replacements and they explained clearly why they were valid mechanical concerns and needed immediate attention. I have had the exact opposite experiences with the quick lube shops that I used to go to with my previously owned vehicles.

Manager refused to service my 2012 Nissan Frontier that i bought from them years ago. I was told they didnt want to look at it because it had aftermarket rims and the truck has been modified. This is the only place i have it serviced and the mods were done many years ago. I was taking it in because the steering is shaking and the heater doesnt work. I used to take my Pathfinder here as well. They refused to service me and therefore i will never purchase a vehicle from them again. I had been a customer for well over 15 years. Attached is a pic of the aftermarket rim that caused them to refuse service.
Today was one for the history books this place apparently took me for a joke not realizing that I myself was in the automotive industry and I hope that this review reaches the eyes of the people who need advice ; salesperson one of the most arrogant individuals I have seen in the industry hung up on me because of my reaction to a $6k trade offer difference from another store. This type of behavior isn’t professional and should only be viewed as a red flag if they will short you on a trade in they will overcharge you for a vehicle and judge you be careful with who you do business with mind you I was pre approved for $70k.

After an unfortunate run in with a deer my husband and I totaled out beloved Nissan X-terra. If you know anything about this car youll know they stopped producing them in 2015 so finding one now for sale is like finding a needle in a hay stack, and finding one at a reputable dealership is even more rare, but its the best car weve ever owned so we knew we had to have another one. After scouring the internet for days we finally found a great deal at Passport Nissan, the only catch was its in VA and we live in NJ ! We called Neal the moment they opened Saturday and said we were driving down to get the car and wanted to know if we were able to put a deposit to assure it would be there after our 3+ hour drive. Neal let us know that company policy wouldnt allow that and that we were just going to have to take a leap of faith, so we did. When we arrived we were greeted by Neal and he got right to business showing us the car and taking us on a test drive. We fell in love immediately and sealed the deal. The buying process was quick and simple with Neal and his team. If youre looking to buy a new or used car I would 1000% recommend Passport Nissan of Alexandria ! Melvin, Vince, and the manager are all great! Melvin was waiting on us to arrive and provided us with amazing customer service. Manager got me the APR I was looking for and was very knowledgeable. My car was way cheaper here with way more amenities. 2 hour drive to get my car was more then worth it.

I usually take my car to Maryland which is closer. However I decided after repeatedly being disappointed with the service in Maryland to drive a little further out to VA. The service was quick, prompt, and professional. Waiting room was clean (a little tight) but it is what it is. I will definitely let them service my car from now on.

I need to emphasize the OUTSTANDING customer service provided by their senior sales representative, Mr. Tyler Floryancic. This young man sold me my Juke back in 2017 and bought it back from me now in 2021. I took advantage of Passport Nissans great vehicle purchase program. Tyler, from beginning to end, was extremely efficient, a great professional. He ensured that all the required paperwork was completed seamlessly. Most importantly for me, he patiently took the time to explain in step-by-step fashion the timeline of the entire purchase & sales processes. He went above & beyond with his regular updates and even took the time to drive me to the nearby Metrorail station so I could get back home safely. I came for general maintainence but not only did it take over an hour when I was told it would take that time, but I was told there were issues with my car that were not there. As a woman its already stressful to take my car in on my own and here they clearly thought they could charge me extra for things that didnt need to be fixed. Ive had this car since August and have had no issues with it. I was told tires needed to be re-aligned but all my tires are brand new and it was not needed. If you go here definitely be wary!!

I dont give 1 star reviews often.. but this place kinda deserves it.Went with a friend to get an estimate for his car repair. This dealership quoted him over $2000. We knew this was WAY overpriced and low-key the dude was trying to scam us. We still had to pay the diagnostic fee smh... Which was $300.We checked another car shop nearby, they were able to do the same exact work for only $500. And they even said my friend didnt need to replace some of the things that the dude at Passport Nissan scared him about.Dont come here for car diagnostics / repairs. Theyre scamming people smh.

Despite of my busy schedule, Tony Ortiz still managed to give convenience in everything. I commend him for being such a great sales person and he showed expertise in line of his job. He is also friendly and nice. I am pleased that he assisted me and go beyond my expectation. Melvin was great with helping me get my new Dodge Charger sxt plus. Even tho he had another client he kept checking up on me while I was completing my paperwork. He gets 5stars I’m giving a 4 because I wish they could have done better on dropping the price. Love my car.
This dealership was advertising a promotion where they will give you up to 120% of your KBB trade value. I did my homework and saw that my car was worth around $35k for trade (the high side was $37k). When I went to the dealership, they gave me a salesperson that acted like she did not want to be there. They had all of these cars advertised on their site, but they did not actually have them in stock. When we started to review numbers, they only offered me $40k for my trade...120% of $35k is $42k. They also were trying to charge me a $1095 freight fee...YES....they want ME to pay for them to ship the cars. This is the cost of doing business. The customer should not have to pay for you to ship inventory.I found the experience to be very underwhelming and a bit shady.

If you like having your time wasted youve found the right place!!!! Was working with the sales rep Rico for a week trying to settle on a price. Once we agreed on a price he scheduled us in to come in the following day to sign the paperwork. The following day prior to our appt time he gives me a call asking if we were still coming, I told him we were 10 mins away. Literally 5 minutes later he calls back saying someone was there looking to buy the car. We arrived 5 minutes later just to be told they sold the car. Why even set up an appt and tell us to come in if your going to sell the car anyways.
2nd time purchasing here and Mary was exceptional. Awesome service.

I knew I needed a couple things looked at but wasn’t really sure. “Walter told me..pick anything it’s no wrong choice lol, we’re gonna look over everything anyway and let you know exactly what it is you need. I didn’t feel rushed to get everything completed, the cost of repairing a Nissan is very inexpensive so I don’t feel like I’m being swindled out of money during a pandemic. Thanks Again Walter! Before going to Passport, I had been to six other dealers who tried to finagle prices, add on freight charges and outright deceive me about the AWD capabilities of the car I wanted, I had almost given up hope. Then, Wilber at Passport changed everything! I told him what I had gone through and that although I already knew what car I wanted, every time I walked into a dealer, the price drastically changed. Wilber was straight-forward and genuine. He worked with the sales manager, got me the price I wanted and exactly what I wanted for my trade-in. I had an excellent experience selling my 2008 Nissan Rogue to the dealership. Tyler helped me out after I brought in the Kelley Blue Book online offer. The sale was quick and easy, and they gave us the full value of the KBB offer. Would definitely recommend this dealership.
Mary was the most resourceful and service driven person I have come across in a while. She worked with me tirelessly to get a car lease and trade in done in less than 12 hours via phone and email. I have been with this dealership since I bought my previous car in 2013 and people like her are why I come back for every service and why I stuck with Nissan and this location even though its not super convenient to me.
We bought a vehicle from this dealership in 2020 right before the pandemic and as a part of our contract we were promised a few items would be repaired on the vehicle. The sales manager Sam informed us we would be contacted when parts for the repair arrived, and when we returned for our license plates a month later they said again that the parts were still being ordered, and that we would receive a call when they arrived. We never received the call and shortly after the pandemic was in full effect and we went into lockdown. When we returned for service a year later after it was safe to do so, we mentioned that we were never contacted about the parts and asked to get the items repaired. This is when we were informed that the repairs expired 30 days after we bought the car- though when speaking to them after 30 days, they were still waiting on the parts to arrive. Once we tried to explain how this was unfair because of the circumstances of the pandemic and waiting on the parts, Sam was completely rude and said that we were using the pandemic as a “crutch” when he never contacted us as promised when the part arrived. Then as we were waiting on the vehicle to be returned to us we were informed that there were 2 nails in our tires that we had not had any issues with previously (we had no air issues and drove in from over 30 minutes away) which was very suspicious.We were completely scammed by this dealership who never intended to repair the damages to our vehicle and misled us about the process.AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP - especially Sam who is an unethical and inappropriate sales manager with the worst customer service we have ever experienced.*** UPDATE SINCE THEIR REPLY***Again, the dealership continues to lie instead of take responsibility. We were never contacted- point blank. Their continued lies only justify my argument- they apologize but take no accountability and misconstrue the events that occurred. Do not trust this place. While I admit I did get heated in my phone call with Sam, who was disrespectful and inappropriate and accused me of lying and using the pandemic as a “crutch”, my husband was not disrespectful in the dealership only concerned with our vehicle and disgusted by the service. Again- do not trust this place- whose employees continue to prove themselves to be unethical. Horrible customer service - just looking to scam anyone they can for any penny.Another note- the dealership tried to get us to replace the entire tires- we instead took the vehicle to a trustworthy mechanic who patched them for a fraction of the price.
I used to love this place but not anymore. Theyve gotten sloppy and unresponsive about correcting problems. And their staff turnover seems high, which for me is a red flag. The loaner had a previous customers use agreement containing their DL number D.O.B., address and phone number still in the visor. Gave agent my prior service records only got one back. Took car in for recommended maintenance. Also had necessary repairs done that were covered by a 3rd party repair service contract. Totaled just under $4k. When I got home - 15 miles later--found a bolt resting in the windshield casing bay and an open port with a missing bolt. The bolt doesnt belong to the open port. Reported the problem on the same day-- Monday --with pictures. Its Thursday-still no response. We had torrential rain yesterday. Today the car is dead. I wouldnt be surprised to find out that water got in that hole and caused a problem. At the very least I am going to have to get a jump or tow and/or loaner or rental and miss time from work to get these problems resolved. Problems I did not have prior to taking my car there.

I bought this car a couple of weeks ago (01/23). This morning (02/13), my car did not start. I had to call AAA to jump start it. The results of a battery test revealed that the battery needed replacement. For someone who bought a CPO for peace of mind, I was extremely disappointed.On the bright side, upon explaining the situation to the dealerships manager, they were keen to replace the battery.

My Experience at Nissian Passport in Alexandria Va was Awesome. I took my car in for a oil change and tire rotation, turns out I needed major work thank goodness the car was still under warranty. When I was going to pick up the real ones he was also there and gave me information about the next service and what should be done. I truly feel this kind of salesperson is what a company needs because most people sell you something and then its like they never met you and dont care about you. Rodrigo went far and beyond!
I lost a lot of money here. The service section tell you your car has this and this issue. You accept the service and pay, but actually your car was just fine. Before you get the service and loose tons of money, check with another mechanic store to see if they are telling you the truth.
The salesman, Neal Connelly was very professional, he was dressed well and it was clear that he knew Nissan automobiles. He was patient, showed me a number of cars to select from, was very helpful right up to the financial part of the transaction. He called me a few days later to make sure I was pleased with the car I had purchased and to see if I had any questions. I would highly recommend Mr. Connelly to any of my friends seeking to putchase a new car.
