As a follow-up to a previous negative review following an issue with the trade-in value for my used car, Said (who I believe is a sales manager) contacted me and made every effort to make things right. He was very professional, apologetic and personable. He ended up offering above trade-in value for my car, and allowing me to take 2 vehicles overnight for a test. I ended up purchasing elsewhere, but was very satisfied with the dealers response. Overall, I would consider my next car from Passport.

After 2 weeks of looking and dozens of salesman I bought a car at your dealership. There were on 2 salesmen I liked enough to leave a review about and Bary Montano was #1. He was very knowledgeable and patient we me. He went beyond selling me a vehicle. When my insurance company was closed and I couldnt get up with them he figured it out. Since I had a rental and live 4 hours from Alexandria he called enterprise to see if I could leave my car up there. He was so nice and never tried to talk me into something I didnt want like all the others did.

(Why 3 stars instead of 5??) This was my First time crossing state line for a car purchase. I had researched the car i wanted and landed at Passport through Cars.com. They had the color i wanted and a decent amount of milage for used. The Test drive didnt show me any flaw so i signed on the dotted line. On my way home i found a few things wrong and went back and they trouble shot the issue... said they could find nothing even tho something was definately adjusted. (carfax told me that they replaced brakes before I purchased so maybe they just left someting loose.. who knows.. ) which they could have just told me. The car runs pretty good now but Here are the few things that left me unsettled.1. The car was washed but not reconditioned/detailed... I had dog hair and food crumbs between my seats etc.. running a car through a dealer wash and spraying tireshine will never work for someone with my level of OCD.2. My tesla has Generation 1 Hardware which i was clear about when i mentioned that I did not want. I was assured i had Gen 2 but such is life... Its gonna cost me $2500 to upgrade the hardware... ehh...3. When i took it in for that service they gave me a loaner... but held $250.00 on a credit card.. thats not a loaner thats a rental... i could have used my Auto insurance and got a rental with nothing out of pocket and not had to put gas in it as soon as i drove off..Over All, Rob (Salesperson) LaQuisha ( Internet sales Mgr) and Zamir, made my purchase seamless and simple. Said (GM) got me set up with a MD state inspection which was also simple.... and they did it with a smile. So I would give them 5 stars on that but the dirty car, empty loaner, and the undisclosed repairs made. would lead me to not take my car back there for service ...

Purchased a 2018 BMW M550 from this dealership on October 17 of 2020. I flew from South Florida to Washington, DC to purchase this vehicle and drive it back.Before purchase I asked the dealer to remove the front plate and paint the area where the holes were and they agreed to do so. When they agreed to do so, I assumed this meant they would have competent/reputable work done seeing as this was a ~$45K used car. After arriving to the dealership, they had just completed the paint work. At the time it looked decent but not great, but I still moved forward with the assumption that the work was done correctly.Fast forward to Jan 13 of 2020: The front bumper had began to chip BADLY. You could see flakes of the paint coming off, and only in the center of the bumper (and extending to the left/right, slightly, where they had to blend the paint) where there had been work done by the dealer to remove the old plate. I immediately contacted the dealer upon noticing, included pictures and video, and was told this happens a lot in Florida. I have owned well over 15 cars in Florida over the past 20 years, and have not once had a single car have the paint start to flake/chip off only in the center of the bumper area. Yes, I have had cars with rock chips, but rock chips on ANY of my past vehicles (some used) NEVER resulted in large areas of small chunks of paint flaking off. After going back and forth with Said (the used car manager in charge of my purchase); they offered to send me touch-up paint and nothing more. The paint continues to flake and get worse, and now you can see the truly utterly horrible quality of the paint work they did. The whole center of the bumper area is now exceptionally dull and the color no longer blends with the rest of the bumper.All of that being said, I experienced another issue during the purchase/financing of my vehicle: I came in with a preapproved loan for a specific rate. The dealer offered to match that rate from one of their lenders, which I was fine with. Upon nearly completing the paper work, I noticed the finance manager had marked the interest rate up 0.01% (yes, 0.01%). After bringing this to his attention, he rather condescendingly stated what a minute amount of money that was over the term of the loan. I was absolutely appalled at his response, and he continued to challenge and attempt to belittle me. After asking him if HE was interested in paying the difference, he then modified the loan terms to match (as agreed upon) my initial loan offer. This was a discouraging part of my experience at the time, but I looked past it, because the rest of the purchase had gone well - until I discovered what inferior paint/body work they performed on the front of the vehicle.All of that being said, I do not in any way shape or form recommend doing business with this dealership.(To those curious as to why I would wait so long to post this; I have been recovering from medical issues which have been going on for ~ 4 months, and have finally had the opportunity to write this review)

The best car buying experience Ive ever had.Robert Townes had just the right amount of follow-up and did everything to make me feel comfortable and valued customer. When I showed up for my appointment the car was waiting for me washed waxed and fueled.Amir in finance was great as well. He didnt manage to find a way to make a simple transaction take 2 to 3 hours which I definitely experienced elsewhere in the past. They even beat my rate at USAA which is tough to do.The right car at the right price, and A+ service. Couldnt be happier.
Doing business with Passport Infinity was beyond amazing! I returned from deployment in the middle of the chip/car shortage and I needed a vehicle to move from Virginia to Texas. Every lot I visited was marking most all of their vehicles up $10k over sticker price but Passport Infinity was still giving rebates! That’s right, rebates not market value markups. Joe was amazing, he let me take my time and be patient with making me feel like I must buy from them. I put a special request in for color scheme (interior and exterior) and they found my car within a few hours. Everyone I encountered at Passport Infinity was phenomenal and I will definitely do business with them again!
My wife and I purchased a Q50 from Passport Infiniti of Alexandria 2 weeks ago. We live 3 hours away from dealership. So, after looking at their inventory online we drove there early Saturday morning. The vehicle I wanted to purchase had a small crack in the windshield which couldnt be seen from the photos online. This was a little disappointing but our delaler service representative, Bary Montalvo, helped make that 3 hour drive worth it. He was knowledgeable about all the vehicles in their inventory and was able to help me find the perfect car. He made my purchasing experience a good one.

My experience was really pleasant. Kim was sweet and listened to what I wanted. The manager was great with explaining the answers to the questions that I had. I love Courtneys personality and Im so glad she told me about the coverage package. Only reason why I give 4 stars and not 5 is because I wished that my sales representative showed me how everything in my car work. It is a pretty different change going from 2019 Sedan to a 2021 SUV. The placement of the buttons is pretty different from my Q50, and made sure that SOS was registered. I feel like I had to figure out all those on my own.I absolutely love the service department! They are always helpful and pleasant. When I would take my Q50 to get serviced it was in a great timely manner and the department is fully communicative.

They lie so much! I love my car (Q50), but I dont trust anything that anyone at this dealership says. They sold me a worthless wheel warranty and only gave me a partial refund. The maintenance staff always SIGNIFICANTLY underestimates how much a repair is going to cost, And worse of all, they constantly call me asking to come in for service or to buy a new car. Infiniti makes great cars, but avoid Passport.

I was recently in the market for a used Range Rover Evoque. The market was fairly limited, especially in my area (Pittsburgh PA) so I expanded my search. I found the perfect 2019 Evoque in Passport Infinitis (Alexandria VA) used inventory online. One of their salesman, Bary Montano, quickly responded to my online inquiry. I had a wonderful experience at Passport Infinity. I bought a brand new QX50 Luxe. Both Fred and Laquisha worked diligently to get me almost full payoff for my car (almost 5k more than all the other dealers were offering) AND lowered the price of the vehicle to ensure my payments and interest rate were exactly where I felt comfortable! They also were not pushy! Hands down this is the best experience I’ve had at a dealership- none of that back and forth and trying to rip me off like other places.
Unfortunately I will not be returning to Infiniti of Alexandria to lease a car ever. While the lease experience was professional and courteous, the service department has been a complete disappointment. The attempts at frivolous charges leaves me with no confidence in the integrity of the organization.Ever since the 5,000 mile check at the dealership, the service department has routinely attempted to charge me for new break pads, belts, alignments, transmission repairs, etc. Due to the pandemic I have not even driven the car 3,000 miles in a year which was when I last visited for service. Oddly enough, at that time no mention of service at this level was mentioned. Yet today, I have been presented with a service estimate of almost $2,000.The service representative offered no additional information or clarification. How do serpentine belts for a car under 19,000 miles need to be changed? I was only told that this was the information gathered by the technician. This is completely unacceptable.

Not only were the entire staff at Passport Infiniti professional, but they made me feel like a valued and welcome customer.They gave me an extremely generous offer on my current vehicle and helped me work into one of my absolute dream cars and at a price and plan that worked for me. I have never written a Google review, but felt compelled after my infuriating experience with this dealership. I drove over an hour from Baltimore to purchase a QX50, and when I got to the dealership, their offer for my used car was $4,000 less than what was promised in writing on several occasions. I confirmed with the sales manager 3 times that the deal was in place and would not be changed when I drove there.. A complete waste of 3 hours of my time. Infuriating!
Wonderful experience. I started the process online and came in to test drive and seal the deal. I wasnt quite satisfied with the first car, but the second one was a winner. We bought a JX35 from Passport Infiniti in Alexandra in 2013 and had a great experience.We were in the market for a QX55 and after looking and talking with so many dealerships, we ended up right back at passport in Alexandria. We had the best experience with our sales consultant, Joe Valdovinos, the GM, Said Abdelilah and even the service department after the car had a minor glitch which can happen to any new car.We are as happy as we can be, will return to this dealership for future Infinitis and all the service and I recommend anyone in the area to contact them for a new car

My bad experience was that the price of the 2011 nissan maxima car that I bought from you was 10,900, that day I went to the dealer early and being outside waiting for them to open a person called me regarding the interest that I put in the car when I saw him in the web, I told that person that I was outside and he confirmed that the price was 10,900, then they left me with the seller Cesar Erazo who was very kind to me and I have no complaints about him, I saw the car and drove it, when We returned, the manager name Said Abdelilah was already there and he increased the price to 11,985, obviously I was surprised and he came to the sellers office, with many excuses because he increased the price, one of the excuses was that it was a computer error And he even told me that he knew that I was there since before they opened the dealer, that I knew that that car was very cheap, that is, because I put an interest in that car, he increased the price by more than 1,000 dollars and he was very rude and pedantic. with me, he treated me with As if you were doing me a favor, that was my bad experience because I paid more than the price that I said on the different websites and according to what I saw in the google comments regarding your delaer, that manager always does the same. and obviously I will also put my comment on the bad experience I had with you.

If you are a woman DO NOT go by yourself to purchase a vehicle from here. If you do ask for a vehicle history report prior to your purchaseIf its a certified used car. My error was that I was in good hands considering the fact that I had a good experience the 1st time when I had my Q70. I kept it until the lease was up. I got a preowned 2017 QX60 September of 2018 Ive been to the dealership 6 times to have something replaced or repaired. 3 of the visits were for the same the issue. The corrections were for a timing control issie. Another time they had to replace my radiator fan. Another visit was to address a recall part.The cover for my driver side mirror came off...After looking over the vehicle history report I learned that the same mirror was broken and replaced prior to me purchasing the vehicle.I put in a request for it to be repaired 4 times. Each time they told me that the part was on its way. I finally got it fixed and they charged me $189 for it. Personally, I feel like if it was broken and repaired prior to me purchasing the vehicle they would have been courteous and waived the cost. Before I walked off the lot today I noticed that the mirror was still not fixed!! I was told that in order for the mirror to be fixed 100% I would need to pay $1700 because it would require replacing the entire mirror and shell. I included pictures of what they call repaired and also a picture of my passenger side mirror which is perfectly fine.I really wish I requested that vehicle maintenance record prior to my purchase. I learned that there was body damage prior to my purchase. A hose had burst underneath the passenger side front seat and flooded the floorAs a result they had to replace the carpet. There was mold in the sunroof at some point..(what causes that I havent a clue.)*** Im attaching pictures so no one can come behind me and say that my experience wasnt real. Super disappointed. Lesson learned. Im still under warranty. They at least couldve offered a buyback, accept my request for a buyback or extend my warranty.
Recently had the pleasure of working with Clay and the great staff at Passport Infiniti assisting my son with his first vehicle purchase. Clay was attentive to what we were looking for and never pressured us or try to “up sale” as many others have done in the past. We drove 1 1/2hrs. to dealership to find the car clean and ready to go. Finance department worked a better deal than I was already pre-approved for. In and out, including test drive, in under 3hrs. Will be calling upon them in the future for vehicle purchases for myself and family.

Moving can be stressful. As a military family we had to move across the country with all of our earthly possessions. The vehicles QX80 and QX60 needed routine maintenance and being new to the area I had no idea where to take my vehicles. I am grateful Google sent me to Passport Infiniti of Alexandria. The receptionist was professional and courteous when I made the appointment and the service team took good care of both my vehicles. Drew was straight forward with me when it came to the status of my vehicles and the prices were what you would expect for the work. I was able to get a loaner vehicle at no additional cost which really helped my family and I while the vehicles were being worked on. Well done. Thank you!

Buyer beware! While I love my QX60, I will not be purchasing my next Infiniti from here. I still have yet to get my all weather mats and I purchased my vehicle in January 2020. I’ve emailed and left voicemails for my sales consultant to no avail. It is very apparent that once they have your money, they could care less about keeping you as a repeat customer or about honoring deals. Very disappointing, given the Passport reputation.
3 Aug 2019 - Three months later and complaint sent to Corporate office. NOTHING!!Be sure to read the UPDATE added below --My 2007 Infiniti G35S, leak issue. This has been an ongoing thing for nearly 2 years. Originally, it was reported that the drain hoses from the sunroof were clogged - FIXED (not really...read on). The problem continued. In September 2018, the BCM was damaged by water leaking into the car. In December 2018, the leaking caused the BCM to short out again. This time, leak testing and waterproofing were performed ($499).After a recent rainstorm, I went out to find nearly 3in of water in the driver side foot well. I decided to look at the sunroof drain hose and the work that was originally done. The photos included with this review will show what I found.The drain hose on the left side was in-fact NOT replaced. It was simply cut and spliced with a new section of hose (it was just a matter of time before it failed again). This was done using a hose adapter, some kind of black sticky stuff, and duct tape. Instead of replacing the hose with a new hose ($20) and thus maintaining the integrity of the hose.It took nearly 2 hours with a wet vac to get most of the water out of the foot well and carpeting. I am now dealing with the smell of old water. There is also a flicker in my dash lights as if something got wet and is possibly shorting out.The problem I have with this, the less than professional level of work that was done. Had I not taken the panel off and seen first hand what was done, I would have taken the car back in and the service tech would tell me, we found the source of the leak and will repair it for $$$. I doubt they would come to me and said, it looks like the original work wasnt done properly or professionally. I WOULD BE THE ONE PAYING for the repairs.Keep in mind, the part in question was $20 and was a COMPLETE end-to-end hose. Not a splice job using duct tape.I will not be taking my car back to Passport Infiniti...UPDATE: Passport Infiniti responds and asks that I (1) call Chris Browne and (2) they dont find me in their system.1 - I called Mr. Browne late (April 4th) Thursday evening (left a message). It was after normal business hours so I didnt expect a return call. However, Friday, no return call. Saturday, no return call. Sunday (not expecting a call). Tuesday, April 9th, I called Passport Infiniti again and left another message. I am posting this update on April 11th, still no return call. I have also removed the right side A-pilar cover and see the same duct tape repair work. When this fails as the left side did, it will run down and short out the BCM once again.2 - I am not in their system as the service tech didnt update the contact/customer information when I brought the car in. See the added image of the invoice.I wish I could update this review with a video of what my dash is now doing and how it has impacted my ability to drive the car at night.
Purchased a 2014 QS infinity trade-in November 5 2020 with 53,000 miles on it. I was told by salesman that the car was fully inspected.3 days later my battery died. 2 weeks later service engine on. Coming from Philadelphia I had to make that 2 hour trip to Virginia for service..I was told by the service person it was fixed and I shouldn’t any problems..Needless to say I had make a second trip to Virginia for the same issue 3day later.! I was furious.! The service person fail to tell me that I needed two O2 sensor and they only had One in stock... Soo they only replace one and had to order the other... and that’s the reason for the second trip.! I have family and friends in that area and told them this not a good dealership... would not recommend this place to anyone in Philadelphia either..!
I just bought a 2017 CPO Infiniti Q60 here. I had been looking for a few weeks and finally found one I was looking for. Tim was a very helpful salesperson and I was also assisted by Moses during the purchase. I paid a bit more than I wanted which is the reason for 4 stars, and they didnt negotiate it down very much, but it was exactly what I had been looking for so I gave in. Joe was also helpful in showing me how to setup a lot of the tech inside. Appreciate all the help and especially you staying open late to help me purchase after I got off work. Looking forward to a good relationship with you guys.

If you want to take your car here off warranty, dont. I learned today that there is a $175 diagnostic fee for EACH ISSUE that you mention. I made the mistake of mentioning my Infiniti had some squeaking from the front suspension AND some brake noise, AND they performed the multi point inspection. After recommending $4500 in maintenance on my very well maintained car, which I declined, Passport Infiniti was ready to charge $175 PER concern for a total of $525 for doing nothing rather than looking at my car. I can understand a diagnostic charge, but $525 to perform no work?The work, in summary, was replace the part. No more information than that and the price to replace the part was remarkably high. If you take your car here because the engine is making an odd noise the response would be replace engine.Luckily they let me go at $175 since they didnt fully explain the diagnostic charger PER ISSUE mentioned (and the tech I initially spoke with wasnt there that day.) I left for a private shop.Passsport Infiniti, you can glad-hand this all away but the idea you can change $175 for a looking at a noise, and another $175 or something else, and another $175 for a multi point inspection ad infinitum is silly. Your service department is fleecing customers by suggesting unnecessary repairs which Im sure its part of the business plan. Perhaps youll apologize that there was a misunderstanding. There is not. Im also sure I put more time into writing this review then any tech spent actually looking at my car.
Chris the service advisor at Passport Infiniti of Alexandria provides the best customer service, I called multiple Infiniti dealership trying to get my car repaired and Chris made it possible, he had me come in the same day and most of all I had all those issues resolved.
My entire Dashboard control unit crashed, I took it here and they took care of me! I will definitely be returning here in the future for my car needs. Easiest process i’ve ever dealt with

I received a fair estimate and Ashleigh followed up with me throughout the day to let me know when my car would be ready, even staying after hours to ensure the repairs were completed as we had discussed. She was extremely knowledgeable and professional.

I called in and was able to get my car serviced same day and midday. Got my horn fixed, and team discovered a slow leak in my heater hose as part of their multi-point inspection. Everything was finished in a few hours. Left emails and phone messages to keep me current on status. Team members were professional and courteous.
I made an appt for 8am.. got there on the dot. I happen to have the assistant service manager help me with the car. I had several issues and he made sure to take great care of my infiniti Q50. The customer service here is great. I like the location, its very convenient. I had taken my car to be serviced and I was informed quickly on what the problem was and what it needed. I was then asked permission by the worker if he was able to go ahead and do what was needed to the car.
They treat me like a customer they want to keep. The work has always been done correctly since 2003 when I first brought my first FX car in for service. Their service department figured strongly in my decisions to buy my next 2 FX cars (FX35 & QX70s).
Im not one to post or write a review, but.... I found a car that Ive been dying to have and they answered me IMMEDIATELY on the live chat. Answered my questions and all.. And then it comes to the finance/negotiation part. Lets just say they were texting me Friday non stop and then nothing. it just stopped.. Saturday came along and I got a response that they are looking into it.. and now I go on the site and the car I wanted is down. Just be straight up.. Ran my credit 4xs and to not even have the car anymore.. Waste of time.. thanks for nothing.
