This pre-owned vehicle transaction was done on-line and over the phone, and it was professional, pleasant, and an easy, seamless process. The sales consultant I worked with, Mohammed, was excellent. The car has performed beautifully since Ive owned it. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is because I should have asked for more detailed body photos. I received a video walk around of the car, but I did not ask to see up close photos of any paint touch up or dents. The car looked perfect in a video shoot, but as everyone knows, when you hand wash a car for the first time, you see everything. The car had numerous touch up spots (some not so well done) and a minor fender dent, and one wheel rim was scraped up. If you buy online, be sure to ask for close up photos so youre sure of what youre buying.

I purchased my car here based on their great reviews. The service was impeccable and beyond compare. The friendliest and easiest transaction I have ever experienced when buying a car. But then, in less than 24 hours, the high end Lexus I bought wouldnt start. The result was a dead, 4 year old battery. Further inspection showed the car to have cheap lowering springs on it. Robert, the sales manager worked with the owner to make it right. Although It took more effort after the sale, they stand behind their products and service which is much more than i can say for most dealerships. They really do care about their reputation and long term realtionships which is commendable.

We said we didnt want to buy a warranty (several thousand dollars), but they kept pushing which meant we had to keep uncomfortably saying no.

Just purchased a Super Clean 2016 Corvette from Hassan at Select Auto Imports and the experience was wonderful. Last month I purchased a used 2013 Volvo S60 with 68k miles from Select Auto Imports in Alexandria, VA. In less than 2 weeks the car stopped running. I took it back to the dealer after ruling out that it was a bad battery and they stated I needed a new engine. Select Imports inventory is comprised of mostly high-end luxury automobiles, there were not any standout complaints about them, and everything seemed good. I felt comfortable going to them to purchase my car. The initial experience was nice. However through the process of trying to rectify this issue, they made me feel as though they were doing me a favor, the owner even stated to me that “We don’t have to do anything when you purchase a used car in VA once you leave the lot its your responsibility, not ours.” They did offer to pay half of whatever the cost would be but just to get to that point, however, was a couple of days of back and forth negotiations.After talking to an attorney and being informed that unless I could prove fraud, I had no real shot of having the dealership do anything since VA does not have a lemon law. Finally, I just purchased an engine and the dealer agreed to cover labor costs. I needed my car and getting a repo on my credit wasn’t an option and the dealer informed me if I wanted to trade the car in for another one on their lot they would use the trade-in value of the current condition of the car without a working engine. Thus, putting me underwater already plus adding a down payment on a new car.The whole experience was horrible I felt I was drowning in this situation and the dealer just trying to get me out the way. The last straw was when the dealership informed me that the bank contacted them on picking up my car for a repo. I never had a conversation with the bank about picking up my car, my car note was not due until Sept 17th,After contacting the bank Capital One stated they had no record of them contacting the dealership about picking up the car. This was crazy so, I decided to write a review on the Better Business Bureau about my experience. After posting the review the dealership contacted me two days later telling me that “You need to get your car by the end of the week we no longer wish to do business with you since you feel this is a bad experience.” Two days later I picked up my car.To this day I cannot fathom why their customer service in this situation was so horrible and why would I get the “you take what we offer, or you get nothing” approach. No reasonable person expects a car to break down in less than 30 days. I have an extended warranty however it does not kick in until 20 days AND 500 miles after the date of purchase.In a nutshell, my car is currently at a Volvo shop waiting for the installation of a new engine, all paid for by me. Though the law was on their side as a customer I would never do business with them again. How you treat your customers says a lot.

Excellent remote buying experience.Reviewed numerous on-line photos, then discussed & finalized deal via telephone. After driving 220 miles from my home to the dealership, I found the vehicle to be in as excellent of a condition as purported by Robert and PJ.Completing the paperwork took less then 20 minutes, then, thanks to the full tank of gas supplied with the vehicle, I was able to immediately leave for home.Having purchased new or slightly used vehicles every 3 or 4 years for the past 45 years, this was by far the easiest and best car-buying experience Ive had.

SAI was consistently responsive to my texts and phone calls, always kept me in the loop regarding the status of the transaction (paperwork, shipping, etc.), and supplied lots of photos and videos for my peace of mind. Every one of my interactions with them was pleasant and positive. Would definitely purchase from them again!

While the owner/manager are super nice, one of the salesmen Naser is absolutely terrible dealing with clients. He made us waited in the lot under the sun without allowing us to test drive a car and implied that we do not have the money for it. I am very disappointed at this customer service and would strongly suggest not to purchase a vehicle from him.

I purchased a 2017 BMW X5 this past weekend on 11/30/19. The staff greeted me immediately when walking in and I worked with Marlon and Robert. The cars sitting in this dealership are all premium and top notch just like their service. Marlon and the entire select auto imports team made this transaction incredibly smooth and we had the keys to the new car in 30 minutes. Marlon and the team have worked at this location for over 15-20 years and I read all reviews before buying. I did not read one negative thing about this dealership nor about their products. A very pleasant car buying experience. I found the car on a Friday morning and was driving 4.5 hours to Virginia Saturday to pick it up. I worked with Naser G. aka Doctor Nas aka Big NAS. He was great to work with and very respectful of the customers time.The appraisal process of the vehicle I was trading-in was unlike anything Ive ever seen. The owner and his team have an extremely thorough process; 35+ minutes. Its a little overwhelming for the customer, but makes you appreciate the vehicle you are planning to purchase.The finance process was great. I worked with Terri who was very kind and knowledgeable about the entire process. As to be expected they were very heavy on the warranty sales pitch, but I respectfully declined a few times and they understood.In summary 4 stars (because there is always room for improvement) and without a doubt will look to them again for future vehicles.

This was one of the easiest purchases Ive made in years. I called to check the availability of one of their vehicles and spoke with Ben. He was easy and fun to work with without the typical salesmen attitude. Ben went over all the specs of the vehicle we were interested in and also went as far as to compare their vehicle to others in the area.I waited until the entire purchasing process was complete down to having my hard tags mailed to my house. I have to say that from start to finish Ben did not disappoint! It was a true pleasure dealing with Select Auto Imports. When I arrived, they were waiting for me, the car I had expressed interest in cleaned & ready for a test drive. The staff was attentive & polite, never too pushy. The salesman I dealt with, Sean, was exceptional, and the financing was quick & easy, with good terms, even the owner spent time with me. This was my 1st experience with Select Auto Imports, but it definitely wont be my last experience with them. Highly recommended if you are looking for a quality, pre-owned, high-end luxury car, this is a great place to check out.

Very disappointed. After purchasing I have rave reviews until a week later. I had to take my BMW 740e. With only 8K miles to the shop. No problem, then today, I had to take it back. Robert and Sean simply kept making excuses and that it was covered under warranty. If I had know that after spending $52K, I would have to take my car to the shop twice, I would not have bought.Very disappointed in their sales practices. Not once did they offer to help.Please stay away.

I stopped here on something of a whim checking to see if my golf clubs would fit in the trunk of a ‘16 Mercedes E400 cabriolet. After being shown that they would indeed fit, I was introduced to Robert and Hassan and was more than impressed with their professionalism and “no pressure” atmosphere. They made it a pleasure to purchase the Mercedes. I would most definitely purchase another car from Select and have already recommended some friends to them.

So where do I start. Ali is by far the most knowledgeable, professional, and responsible auto sales person, I have ever had the pleasure of working with. If you are in the market for a luxury exotic car, then you really have just one place to go, and one person to ask for. Ali was awesome. I am sure everyone else there is terrific, so I can only speak to my experience with Ali, but trust me, hes the real deal. Then working with Maribeth, to get the paperwork, and financing complete, she was absolutely fantastic. First time I have ever sat down to do the paperwork, and financing, and felt like my requirements were the only options she presented. She was fantastic. We will be back for our next car without a doubt!

Low-key, no hard sell, very pleasant, superb customer service. We purchased an S550 - low miles and drives like a charm. When they say almost new, they mean it. I have bought nine cars over many years from Select Auto Imports (Mercedes, BMW, Maserati). They have the absolute best quality cars, and I have never dealt with any company as ethical as they are. Unfortunately, I can only give them five stars. If I could give them 10, I would. Over the years, I have gotten several cars that sell new in six figures for sometimes half the price and have never had one moment of trouble from any car. If you want a high quality luxury automobile at great prices with the best of service and with the most pleasant and ethical people in the industry to deal with, don’t bother looking anywhere else. We have always been treated like close friends, not car buyers.
