A great flooring store! For ancarpet store the variety is rather expansive. It not only has a great selection of carpets but also has a pretty good selection of wood and vinyl floors. Their pricing is pretty average in the field and their staff is friendly. Definitely recommend checking out what this flooring store has to offer.

I cannot say enough about the luxury vinyl plank flooring they just installed throughout my second floor and new vanity in MBR. So glad to get rid of the carpet. Harry, Mario, Tom and the entire staff were very talented professional and from start to finish. Most importantly, I love my new flooring, its like a long awaited dream come true! I highly recommend Carpet One.

I highly recommend Alexandria Carpet. They have a great selection and a staff that is well versed in the products they carry. The whole team worked very hard to meet a challenging schedule so that we could move into our new home with new flooring and carpet. They were consistent with follow up and called to be sure all was well after installation. In fact, I needed to add shoe molding at the last minute, and they made it happen! So many 5 star reviews which is why I reached out to them, I wish I had the same experience as others, but it seems I wont get the chance. Im looking to replace the flooring on the entire main level of my townhouse. I completed the online request for a quote on 4/9, received an automated response that someone would get back to me. I waited a few days, but after not hearing anything, I tried calling on 4/14 and got their voicemail so I left a message. I received the same automated email saying someone would get back to me. Its now 4/19 and I have yet to receive a response from them. Busy or not, 10 days with no response is not professional.

We are thrilled with the job Alexandria Carpet One Floor & Home did replacing carpet in three rooms of our townhome with beautiful hardwood! Every step of the process was easy, and we truly appreciated everyone we interacted with throughout the process taking steps to ensure our safety (and theirs) during this pandemic. Jim Collins came out to take the necessary measurements and walk us through what hardwood flooring options were available to us, enabling us to proceed with the project without having to go to the showroom. The two men who delivered the wood prior to installation so it could acclimate to our home environment were excellent and managed to get the 27 boxes of very heavy wood up to our third floor, in what appeared to be record time! The three man installation team was extraordinary. We quickly reviewed the parameters of the project with the team leader and then left them to it. While the company had allowed two days to complete the project, the installation team worked nonstop for 7 hours to get the job done rapidly. The installation team had to coordinate moving our larger pieces of furniture as they worked (as per our contract), which they clearly did with ease and great care. When the installation team left, all work areas were spotless!! We are already dreaming up another project for Alexandria Carpet One Floor & Home to help us with - we cannot thank them enough for being so sensitive to our COVID concerns throughout the process and for doing such an amazing job with the installation of the hardwood floors. They are perfect:-) Oh, and I would be remiss if I did not mention how friendly and polite everyone we dealt with was.

Jim and team were amazing. Used them for two different projects. Jim is super knowledgable about the products and offering advice and the team at Carpet One were so professional and great communicators letting us know when our products would be in and making arrangements for picking them up. Would absolutely recommend them.

Eugenia was more than helpful and knowledgeable. At Carpet One, the carpet selection was such that I was able to find the perfect color, texture and grade. Eugenia explained about the installation while she took measurements and was very courteous and professional in addition to being most patient with all my questions/concerns. They cleaned up, vacuumed, and I was pleased at how well done and quickly the installation was performed. I would highly recommend Carpet One, Eugenia in sales and the contracted installers. My husband and I had an excellent experience at Alexandria Carpet. Eugenia helped us to select the perfect vinyl plank flooring. She came to our house to measure each room and help us with decisions about the layout of the floor.The price of flooring and installation was reasonable. Installer Mehdi and his colleague took up our old carpet and artfully laid down our new floor. It was a pleasure to work with this company and we would recommend it to anyone.

Installers were 10 minutes early ( Which I loved). I am not sure they even took a break during the day. Mahedi answered all my questions about the install, ( floating floor) etc. Very reliable and trustworthy IMO.Eugenia was proactive and very communicative on everything from the quoting process to providing as many samples as I wanted to see.She followed up during the install as well as after.I recommend her as well as Alexandria One Floor. Smooth process and great communication.

Parsa was so wonderful to work with. We couldn’t be happier with our experience. We got the best price out if several quotes and the work is stunning. I really appreciate all the information I received from Parsa about which floors would be best for our sunroom. In the end we went with something that is waterproof and looks like gorgeous wood. We just love it. I can’t say enough about the work crew too. They were wonderful, fun to have here, and very expert. The place was left very clean too.

We are very happy with the wool area rugs we ordered from Carpet One. It was a pleasure working with Eugenia, and there was an extensive choice of wool carpeting to choose from. She arranged to have samples sent to us, and it was very helpful to see them in the home setting without having to drive back and forth with samples from the store. Delivery was smooth as well.

Carpet One was the company that we used 10 years ago to put new carpet in our condo. When we decided to upgrade the unit this past month, I contacted them and was glad that they had our records on file. They moved a bit farther out on So. Pickett, but was easy to reach when I called for an appointment. Eugenia was the salesperson who met me and we discussed the options. We decided to go with a Karistan carpet that was within our budget. She came to our condo to measure and then the installation date was set. Everything went well and they did an excellent job of removing the old carpet and installing the new one. They used a new wooden piece that I worked on to bridge the gap between the hardwood floor and the new carpet. Great job! Highly recommend this company and the service that Eugenia provided for us!

I worked with Shawn and his team did a great job. They were very responsive and did their best to accommodate my schedule. The tech that installed the floors was very professional and did an amazing job. I will return to them in the future for any services I may need.

When our basement flooded this winter due to a burst pipe Eugenia at Carpet One helped us replace our wall to wall carpet in a timely manner. When our first choice of carpet was back ordered she was able to find a similar style/color that met our needs and would get installed sooner. Very helpful and good communications through out the process.

My experience with Alexandria Carpet One was very good. It was easy to schedule an appointment to measure, then Dan emailed the proposal to me. The installers were professional and worked hard (including moving furniture) to get the new carpet for my entire condo installed in one day. It looks great, I should have done it a long time ago.

5.0 star rating3/16/2016We went in to buy carpeting for our ground floor and wanted to go to a flooring place, vs Home Depot. When arriving at Carpet One, we were greeted by Joe. He gave us an overview of all of the different types of carpeting and vinyl floor types. The depth of knowledge he had was amazing. It was like he had a PhD in flooring. We ended up selecting a vinyl floor. When I went in to put the down payment, the individual I worked with was very professional. Joe came out to measure our floor and was very helpful in explaining options. He said they could have the flooring delivered and installed in two weeks. I was doubtful but they delivered as promised. The installers were perfectly on-time, which was a surprise. The install went very well and they dad a 450 sq ft room completed in about 4 hours including the removal of the old carpet. It looks amazing. I am very happy with these guys and would use them again in a heartbeat. Total Pro shop.

I had a big project at a beach house. Hardwood in the kitchen and entry way came out perfect. We also had a room that needed significant preparation for a luxury vinyl plank tile, that came out beautifully. the entire process was very well organized and Nelson, the installer, was fantastic!!

I just want to say that I was sorry to hear that David Fanning left this location for another one. He is an outstanding sales person and a wonderful person. He assisted us with from the selection of the hardwood floor down to the installation. He even went as far as coming to our home to deliver some materials. Great customer relations..

The three gentlemen who came were friendly and efficient. They had to move several pieces of heavy furniture and did so without a problem. They went right to work and finished the floors quickly. Several days later they came back and moved the furniture back into place. We are very please with their work and when we have a need, we will call them again.

That store went out of business, so when I called the corporate office, they put me in touch with the Alexandria location. I had numerous encounters with several different employees, and every person I spoke with was kind, accommodating and helpful. I spent 13 years managing high-end apartment communities so I know (all too well) how difficult it can be to find and work with great companies. Not only were the Carpet One employees delightful to work with, but the contractors they sent to my house to do the work were also overly accommodating. I was a bit anxious about the process, and the two guys who did the job were terrific. I will not hesitate to recommend Alexandria Carpet One Flooring in Alexandria to others in the market for new carpet!

Our experience at Alexandria Carpet One was great! Our salesman, Jim Collins was extremely knowledgeable about ACO product offerings and his flexibility and patience was admirable. Our job was scheduled by Eric Roxboro and all deliveries and work was done as promised, on schedule by a series of professionals. Then there was the work itself: A herringbone patterned exotic wood. I was concerned with the level of difficulty an installation such as this would entail, and I needed assurance that ACO would send someone with the skill-sets needed for such a complex project. Mr. Collins assured me that they would send the very best installer to get the job done, and he did just that! My installer Harry was painfully meticulous and installed as beautiful a herringbone pattered floor that I have ever seen. I seldom rate companies with a five star rating, but in this case, I heartily give this firm five stars and a high five for a job well done!

Did not like the job they did! Horrible job! My 7 years old got poke by a nail in the carpet and when I called to let them know, he had no care or sympathy and told me just grab a hammer and do it yourself. If I cold give 0 star I would. Terrible!
