I had a complete eye examination by Dr. Hillman and was very impressed with his experience, time, expertise and state of the art equipment. Explained everything to me about my tests. Also purchased 2 pairs of designer eye glasses. Good prices for 2 pairs. Daniel was very helpful and lots of experience behind him. I will definitely refer family and friends to For Eyes

This place is absolutely amazing, I’ve been wearing glasses since I was a little girl. So I’ve been to quite a few places. For eyes is my favorite place to go for glasses and eye exams . Everyone is courteous and very inviting. Also they have great deals !! And plenty to choose from !! I recommend this place to everyone wanting a warm experience on a very important purchase.

Dr. Hillman is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. However, there is a lack of professionalism in terms of appointment scheduling through the office staff. I scheduled an appointment for a checkup 17 days in advance. When I arrived at the office, Dr. Hillman performed the checkup and informed me that I needed a different strength prescription for my glasses and contacts.So, I went to the front desk to pay for the service and also asked to order both glasses and contacts that fit my new prescription. The woman in charge of glasses purchases at this point told me that she was about to close up and that if I wanted to try on any that day, I would only have about 5 minutes to do so. It was at this point that I asked when the office would be open again, so I would actually have enough time to make an informed decision on what I wished to purchase.I simply dont understand why I would be scheduled in a time slot that didnt allow time for me to order glasses and contacts after an eye exam on the same day. While I respect the employees time (in terms of opening and closing hours), I dont feel like my time was respected on this particular day.UPDATE: Came in to pick up contacts. When the doctor saw me, he told me that he would order some sample contacts for me to try in my left eye and see if they work, so I wouldnt have to open the box that I ordered if they didnt work, and therefore the unopened box would be returnable if necessary. My order came in. The sample was not in the office. The sample is the same exact product as that which I ordered; it should have arrived at the same time if it was ordered. I was told by an employee that she wasnt sure as to whether or not the sample was actually ordered.

I have been taking my children to for eyes for over 10 years. Dr Hillman is great! Majority of the time, the store manager Ed, helps us find glasses. We have never had a bad experience. They are very professional and courteous. I highly recommend for eyes!

Wonderful experience. ALL staff was welcoming and helpful. The manager went above and beyond in helping me find the right frames for the right price. I went in for a eye examination and to get new glasses. They had me situated and out the door in under an hour. Extremely smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend. Schedule an appointment ahead of time, it makes everything better. They accepted insurance and had great deals being offered. Thanks everyone !

Fabulous experience! Every member of the staff was extremely welcoming, kind and caring . The doctor was amazing . She listened to all of my concerns, was beyond thorough, and truly took her time to make sure I received excellent care. They even helped me pick out frames! My insurance was not covered here, which was not much of a concern, as their prices are the most reasonable around . I HIGHLY recommend this great group of people to anyone needing exceptional eye care !

5 stars isnt enough, 500 maybe more accurate. Ive been a customer for 27 years and never have had a complaint. The long hours are great and the staff is so helpful, remembering my husband and I every time we walk through the door, even though its only once a year. They really take their time with each customer.

I broke my old pair of glasses and had scheduled an appointment here to update my prescription and purchase a new pair. Ed made my choice extremely easy as he brought back a few frames that I loved. He also went out of his way to repair my old glasses in a matter of minutes! Every time I have been to For Eyes the service has been impeccable.

I have been a long time customer of For Eyes and Dr. Hillman. I have always been pleased with the professional service. I stopped at the store today to see if my reading glasses frame could be repaired..needed a new screw to hold the lens. Kathleen waited on me as soon as I entered the store..she said no problem..made the repair promptly. I offered to compensate the store. She said that was not necessary. Having a relationship with a real store is such an advantage. I will gladly return for future eye glass needs.

I took my 12 year old daughter there for the first time. The staff and Dr. Hillman were very welcoming, although we were running late. Dr took his time to examine my daughter and the store manager Ed helped us to pick the right frames for my picky 12 year old. He made the process very smooth and was very pleasant to work with. The manager made sure my daughter has the best glasses she could have. Ed also gave us a very good deal, which made me smile as well.

After my examination by Dr. Hillman which was fantastic, Ed the store manager helped me with the perfect frames and lenses all within my budget. Besides Ed, I also noticed the other sales associates working offering the same care and attention to other customers. Great Place!

Not sure what all these bad reviews are about. Ive been going here since I got glasses 10 years ago. I now go once a year for contacts and glasses. We had to leave for a year because of new insurance. After that year of going elsewhere we got rid of our insurance and came back to For Eyes. The service is incredible and I love all of the people. Ed helped me out very much with my contacts and glasses and they price matched the online price. Ed also put up with my very picky taste in glasses and helped me out as much as he could. All around awesome place!

I highly recommend For Eyes and Dr. Hillman. He was fantastic with my 5 year old daughter for her first eye exam, hilarious, and incredibly welcoming to us. The staff is great too and they did everything possible to get us in for last minute appointments for eye exams, and rush order contacts and glasses for us. We have been customers of For Eyes for over 15 years . The customer service we receive is second to none . Ed (manager) and the entire staff are exceptional . We were at the shop yesterday trying to find new glasses for my husband . He has worn glasses his whole life. We were struggling to find a new pair that worked with his face shape and still be contemporary . Ed was able to pull the perfect pair . Eds expierence gives him the knowledge to effortlessly help you chose the perfect frame ! In addition when the glasses arrive the lenses are always spot on.A side note ...when baby (who is now 14) needed glasses he was 4. It was scary thinking that he would need something to help him see. Ed was so kind . I will never forget his words to me . He told me not worry and let him still play like a little boy . That For Eyes will take care of his glasses. There are not enough words of appreciation I could say to thank Ed for easing my mind .

I have been going to this For Eyes for as long as I can remember and I have always had the best experience ever. The entire staff cares about you from the minute you walk in the door to the time you leave. They always remember and make me smile when I come in. My experience there has been so good that even when I traveled for my job for a few years I came home or called them if I had a question, refill or needed help with my eyes. My daughter and I came in a few weeks ago to get my new glasses, and I couldnt be more pleased with my experience.  The manager, Ed,  was professional, patient, and courteous, and helped us pick out some really nice frames.  We learned a lot about new options for lenses that reduce eye strain and fatigue from long hours and lots of screen time.Dr. Rammohan answered my questions during my eye exam, and Jessica and Kathleen were both friendly and helpful, too.This is my second experience with For Eyes, and Im very happy with their care and knowledgeable customer service. I look forward to coming here for my and my families needs in the future.  Highly recommend.

For Eyes has a great selection of glasses and always gets new ones in! Great service and everyone there is always so nice and willing to help. Found my favorite glasses ever in this store, but one day someone accidentally stepped on them and I was devastated. Going back into the store they offer up to 80$ in protection to find new frames and you just pay 25$ for frames and lenses. Then when I was in found a pair almost exactly the same, since the old ones were discontinued by the maker. A manager popped out my old lenses and popped them right into the new ones and it was like my old glasses were never gone and didnt have to pay the 25 for lenses. Very helpful and I am very pleased with my glasses.

For Eyes is by far the best optical shop that Ive been to in several years! Ed, the manager, was exceptionally courteous and professional ~ he went above and beyond to make sure that my vision needs were met with kindness and understanding. Jessica has done a fantastic job with any adjustments Ive needed so far. Dr. Rammohan is an exceptional optometrist ~ when I got fitted for contacts, she was gentle and didnt rush me. Glasses are always difficult especially with my RX and astigmatism. I find a complete service at ForEyes. Dr. Hillman is a joy and in facts makes me smile even when Im having a bad day. I would never dream of going elsewhere. I always order my glasses from the store and have had no problems for over 30+ years. If I did they are always accommodating to make it right. I have been dealing with Ed for as long as I have been a customer and can say he is more than fair working out a good price, answers all my questions & concerns. When I comparison shop online I may see a tiny (and I mean tiny) bit less expensive but personally I rather have a team I can count on locally. I would recommend and have recommended for many years now. A+

After receiving a new and very different prescription for my glasses I went to For Eyes where I have been going for a long time to place my order. Upon the arrival of the new glasses I experienced difficulty with them and after a week went back and the made some adjustments in the measurements and ordered me a new pair. After the new pair arrived I used them for a week and went back in and met with Ed and he asked Dr. Hillman to take a look at my new glasses and my prescription. They decided to order me another new pair with adjustments and no cost to me. Now I have my third pair of glasses and they are perfect. Thanks for helping me through this process!

I walked in with an eyeglasses emergency: the frame had fallen apart. I was immediately greeted by a professional and he took my eyeglasses back and had them back in perfect order in just a few minutes.A year later, newer glasses, part fell off. I absolutely LOVE For Eyes and Dr. Bruce Hillman. I have been a customer for over 30 years, at this location and their previous location. I have never had a bad experience.

We had a really great experience here. Twai-yah is SUPER energetic and helpful! She made choosing glasses fun! Both my husband and I were also impressed with Dr. Rommohan. Most chain stores do not have very good optometrists in our experience over the last few years and she really took her time with us. She also found a possibly severe issue with my husband’s eyes that most eye doctors don’t seem to check for. We are now in the process of getting him diagnostic tests to find the root cause of the Papilledema. Needless to say, we have found the place and doctor we’ll be sticking with for sure. They also have a large selection of eyeglasses.

My experiences with FOR EYES in Allentown, PA, have been most satisfactory. From selection of glasses, to repeat visits for occasional adjustments, services by store personnel have been excellent.The long term store manager,Ed Probasco,is highly experienced in fittings and is highly sensitive to individuals style preferences.He has an uncanny knack for locating the right match for his customers expressed preferences.

I love Dr. Bruce Hillman!He is the best eye doctor I have ever been too (I have been wearing glasses for 40 years)He is so caring, answers your questions without making you feel like an idiot. He specializes in everything for the eye, including lasik.They have long office hours- Love itMy Husband is not his patient as well and loves his first ever pair of eye glasses.

Love Dr. Hillman but frustrated with service for glasses. 13 days and counting waiting for them to arrive. Slow systems on day order was placed. Processes could use an update. We are in a world where we want things now. Certainly not my experience here. Hoping my prescription doesnt change by the time they arrive.
