I highly recommend Veteran Home Exterior. We purchased new windows for our sunroom, the windows are beautiful, the installation was done by Jeramy who was professional, knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, and left the area totally clean. Most notably though when Jamie came out on the initial sales call I told him that we had two windows in the bedrooms which were inoperable. He looked at the windows and determined what was wrong and what parts would be needed. Jamie ordered the necessary parts, which were very difficult to obtain, since this model of window is no longer made. He was persistent though and found the parts. When the parts arrived he came out and fixed both windows at no change to us for the repair service nor the replacement parts. Truly a company which demonstrates that they value their customers. They go above and beyond.I’m truly a happy customer!Patty

First I would say that Im not usually the one to leave a review, I usually read them and take them into consideration. Upon hiring Veteran Home Exteriors (Jamey Paterson) that is exactly what I did. When I asked Jamey about some of the reviews he came back with a political correct answer to justify what exactly happened in each case.I MADE A HUGE MISTAKE!He is not the person he will lead you to believe when he is trying to get into you pocket. Once he gets your money you will not receive anything else but lies and a dishonest run around. This was not a small job, 34 windows to be replaced. The first crew that started the install was terrible they left the windows not even caulked. broken glass all over the yard (where my kids use run around bare footed-not anymore!!). After constantly trying to get a hold of Jamey and hearing all the excuses- he sent out another window company to try to fix his mistake(should have just ordered my windows though them). I still have one window that was cracked when the first crew unboxed it- no big deal we will get it fixed its already been ordered This has been going on for almost a year. I ordered the windows on September 25, 2019. As of today I still never get any phone calls back. He talks about his warranty and will lead you to believe he is all about customer service, but this is far from the truth. If your thinking about using Veteran Home Exteriors (Jamey Paterson) I would ask him about this review and see what lies he has to say to talk his way into your pocket. Terrible company, Terrible workmanship, Terrible service, Terrible people. If your thinking about investing in your home, do just that but find a company that will not rob you of your investment. Veterans did an excellent job installing multiple sizes and shapes of windows in our home. Their staff was very knowledgeable of the products and provided multiple options. The install went very smoothly and we are incredibly happy with our new windows!

When they came for installation they had wrong windows. They installed with the promise of replacing sashes in a week but this didnt happen. I dont like the caulk they used or how they spread it so wide on the windows. (Picture) It gathers dirt and doesnt look good. I also had one damaged screen that was to be repaired. I caught up with them 8 weeks after installation of windows and got apology. I cancelled the windows I wanted and got a refund. The screen was fixed the next day. Although there were problems they were mostly made right but I probably wont buy from them again due to the things I dont like about the installation. This is why they get an OK rating from me.

We had a wood fence installed to replace the chain link. I never imagined it would look so beautiful, I was expecting something less attractive. This company is excellent and I will definitely use them for my next project. Thank you so much Jamey and your outstanding crew!!!

Got six windows replaced by Veteran. Ill start by saying Im happy with the windows and the crew that installed them. It was done fairly quickly and neatly. I think they look good, and the crew was courteous and professional.What I wasnt happy with was the lack of customer service, communication, or care from this company (Jamey). I ordered these windows September 28th. My contract said it could take 6-8 weeks before they were installed, as they were being special ordered from the DFW area, and things were slow because of Covid. It was a bit of a wait, but I was understanding of it.Fast forward to FIFTEEN WEEKS later. My patience had finally worn. I call them up and ask where my windows are. He cuts me off short and says, Yeah, theyre here. When do you want to schedule the install?Me: Was anyone planning to call and let me know?!Him: Oh, yeah.. I tried calling but you didnt answer and I didnt leave a voicemail.All that, and they didnt offer to take anything off of my bill. If Im trying to promote return service with a disgruntled customer who still owes me $1600 at the time of install, Im telling him, Sorry about that, sir. Since we werent able to uphold our end of the contract and meet the expectations that we set, Im going to offer you a $xx discount. SOMETHING to show some remorse other than. Sorry, its just been crazy.Come on, now. I promise, Im no Karen. Im pretty understanding and patient, especially with the Covid climate of the world. But this was an unacceptable experience. Ill likely be finishing my other 15 windows with someone else.

Jamie & Amanda were very pleasant to work with. This was the 1st of a few major projects on my home. I am very pleased with the work and product end result. I do recommend your research but you will find Veterans Home Exteriors to be top notch.

The service was incredible, from speaking with Jamey about the actual purchase to the installation. I love my new windows and doors. They not only look amazing but I have not yet had them a week and already notice a substantial difference on cooling my home. The rear of my home faces the west so the evening sun in the summer could be harsh. I had an old screen door and wood backdoor that, at around 6pm until sundown, you couldnt touch from the inside due to the heat coming through but my new, beautiful door is completely cool! I am excited to see the difference they make this winter. If you are looking for quality windows and doors along with excellent customer service, choose Veteran Home Exteriors!!

We had new siding and trim done. Jamie came and gave us a quote and told us when he would be able to complete our project. The project was completed on time and for the price quoted. We are very happy with the work completed by Jeremy and his crew. They did an exceptional job and would highly recommend them to our family, friends and others.

Jamey is very professional and is very helpful to help you understand what type of windows they offer. He listened to my wife and I and gave us everything we wanted. The installers were very fast and professional and stopped and answered every question we had. They ended up installing 20 windows and 2 storm doors. They did a great job.

I bought my windows from Jamie & Amanda trusting on them to take care of me with my lifetime window warranty. They r very good at there sale speech. They r not good at standing by there word on when they tell u they will take care of u if u have any issues with ur windows. I have had an issue with my window leaking water in the bottom & have tried to get them to come fix it. They will not answer my calls or return calls or even bother to come fix it. I have talked to them & they said they would b here & its been an on going no show. This has been going on for 2 years. If there is anyone that u can trust when something goes wrong. I can quarantine its not the Petersons

We are using them for a 4 stage window replacement. 1st stage came in and knocked out 11 windows in 2 days... no mess, amazing results. Highly recommend... already order next set of windows!!!

No windows installed yet but if the installation goes as well as the attention to detail of the measuring and ordering we will be over the moon happy! Very thorough and responsive, Jamie is a knowledgeable and receptive business owner. He made several visits to be sure everything was right before the order was placed and has kept us informed as the manufacturing continues. So glad we called this veteran! He is the best!

This is probably one of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had. First off, Jamie went on and on about their customer service and how good they were at taking care of everyone. I had one master bath window that had been broken out and needed to replace the entire window. So, Jamie came out and measured and said he would get the order turned in ASAP, which was actually the following Thursday. He told me because of the holidays (Christmas and New Years) that it would probably be here around the first of the year which was understandable. So, the second week in January I give him a call to get an update on my order. He never calls me back. A week later, call again. This time to the office and speak with a lady there who has no idea the status of my window and says Jamie will call me back. Never did. Wait ANOTHER week and call the office again and tell them this is the third time Ive had to call just to find out where my window is. Jamie finally calls me back on a Thursday afternoon and tells me hes checking on the status of the order, but fails to call back once again. So, fairly enraged at this point I call him one more time Friday morning to see where my damn window is. Next thing I know hes showing up at my house, only to tell me they never ordered the window. Talk about the biggest ball drop in the history of mankind. Especially since I had been calling them for the past 3 weeks trying to get an update. If youre going to brag on your customer service, you better damn well pull through. And you sir, did not. Thanks for wasting an entire month of my time.

We had several windows replaced in our home, and my husband and I were pleased with the finishing work. They literally went above and beyond to make sure it looked good before they left. They men working and Jayme were all very personable. I would definately recommended. Aside from the quality of work, the price was unbeatable, by thousands.dont waste your time calling anywhere else.

I had eight new windows installed with metal trim and the work was top quality and added to the exterior appeal. The owners, Jamie and Amada, were great to work with and their experience made our decision on the type of windows for our home east and the price was within our budget. The installers, Chris and Trey, were on time, their craftsmanship was excellent and their personalities made the two day install a great experience. We had some fencing done. When our gates were installed they dug out our grass without one word to us. They said the gates didn’t swing open. It left 2” deep indentions that held water and made a muddy mess. My 75 year old disabled veteran husband had to FIX their mess. It took him only a few minutes to measure, mark& cut off the bottom of the gates. Who knew you could do that? Not them apparently! My husband had to shovel the dirt back in but new grass won’t come back until spring. They also just chopped off old posts instead of removing them so they put the new fence back a bit which made it right against our gas meter & water meter. Fence looks good & gates work well. However they should have thought & planned better.

Jeremy and Robby were the best! The work ethic was out of this world. They busted their butts from the time they got here. I couldnt believe they got all 15 windows out AND even installed 75% of our new windows in ONE DAY! Exceptional all the way around!

On 11 Jan 2020, Jamie and I did a contract for a chain link fence & a garage window. Over 6 months later I still dont have a garage window and Jamie does not respond to my voice mails. I asked for my 50% down payment back because of this. I still have not received a refund for that window job. He did complete the chain link fence, but the job was poorly done, one terminal post is askew-not level, and the mesh does not meet the upper cross bar on the whole fence. So if you want poor workmanship and dishonesty use him.

I wish my windows were everything Jamie promised, I have given them a good 6 months since install before leaving a comment. My home had the original windows from 1984, my bedroom is in the front and was hoping for less noise from traffic and wind which Jamie assured me the windows would improve noise and energy efficiency. I have not noticed an improvement in either area. I have had no follow up to ensure my satisfaction since the day the installers left, possibly because I was told there would be a dumpster brought to my location for the old windows and most would be sent to scrap yard. It all went in city dumpster. Just a few of the lessons I learned from this experience shop,shop,shop, & most important dont believe everything the salesman tells you!

This journey started last summer as we were looking for windows doors and siding. I checked lots of places and chose Veteran Home Exteriors because Jamey seemed so genuine. We order and paid half of the price (because it was required) the middle of Sept. we were told the product would be in by 4-6 weeks. So we were planning the middle of Nov to be safe that things would progress. Product came in the first of Nov. but his crew could not do anything two more weeks. Then the excuse was it’s Thanksgiving, So now we are at the end of Nov. three young guys were sent to do the job that we were told would take 3-5 days to complete. At the end of day one we see that the doors that they hung are in crooked and about 3/4ths of the screws are in sideways. The wood that they put up was split out and they were just going to leave it. Day two they hung the screen doors that didn’t even latch when closed. My husband called and talked to Jamey and said he didn’t want the boys back over again and wanted someone that knew what they were doing to come finish the job. It took three days before anyone came or any more work was done. Another crew came and fixed the things that were wrong and finished things. The job took two weeks to complete. Then Jamey rushed my husband to pay because it took so long. The job was “finished” the middle of Dec., not it’s March 22nd and still the doors (all four) do not shut correctly and now we are finding more wood split out so all the hardware is shifting and coming out. My husband has called three different times in the last week and Jamey gives excuses why he can’t talk at the moment, but, doesn’t ever call back. Im not sure how a company that says they back their products can actually do that if you can’t ever get anyone to talk to you. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Look elsewhere!! Will be making a complaint to the better business bureau and trying to find someone to help us fix the mess that was left. Also, they never hauled away the old doors.
