First time I have used Anacortes Automotive, they did a good job. They throughly inspected my truck, gave a complete estimate and diligently worked to complete the repairs. When I picked up the truck they explained all the work and provided a written detail of the work. I will use them again.

Great auto service and customer service, had a spark plug blow up in my work truck, they took care of it so quick I ended up getting the whole thing serviced back into tip top shape.

Bought a car from them. Went to the dealer and they told me something was wrong. I went and told them what the dealer said. Had the car just over six months and it died and they wanted $3500 to fix it. i had to just junk it.

Anacortes Automotive is our first and final stop for all of our car maintenance needs. We had a car with almost 140,000 miles on it and every time we took it to them, whether it was for an oil change or significant work, we found them to be very honest and transparent with the work and their pricing. They have always been straightforward about work that can be delayed or is not necessary, and when you own a car with significant mileage it is easy for mechanics to tell you work is a must do when it realistically could be delayed or would not be necessary.I absolutely trust them for all of our car maintenance needs and I will continue to take all of our cars to them for years to come. Ive been taking my car here for 5 years and they are always so helpful- they give lots of info about the service being done (in clear language), tell me about potential future work without pressuring me to do anything, price it out, recommend what I can push out till later. Essentially, I always walk away with the feeling that they care more about keeping me in a safe vehicle and saving me additional costs than their own bottom line. As someone who knows nothing about cars, its wonderful to have found a company that I trust and respect.

Anacortes Automotive is frankly: outstanding! To begin with their appointment process is well organized with email follow ups and texts if requested. It does take some time to get into the que as they are always busy and do not overpromise and not have time to complete work on your vehicle.They are extremely knowledgeable, courteous and always explain the work they accomplished including having photos available for things like dirty fluids they recommend you change in the future. They do not upsell but will thoughtfully recommend future work to consider. Their prices are fair and after repeated poor expert the local Ford dealer I have made Anacortes Automotive my go-to place for all my Ford 150 work!

When I reserved my repair appointment, scheduling was a week out, but I told them I was going on a road trip in a few days. The next day they called to say there was a cancellation and got me in before my trip. Very much appreciated. I trust them. Enough to tell them when I suspect my brakes might be getting low because of a sound I am hearing, and know they will check it, but if it doesnt need repairing, they will tell me so. Which is exactly what happened. Brakes were fine and they explained the noise.I never worry about the state of my car condition because they keep me informed and prepared for upcoming work needed. Took my truck in for service and to get all the problems diagnosed they were very specific about what was going on and fixed the problems and checked everything else out, I was thinking it was going to be pricey for I had 2 estimate of over $2,000.00 and they did it for for a third of that. Very professional and friendly. Will go back.

After hearing a knocking sound in my front end, I took pickup to Anacortes Automotive for diagnostics and repair. I was billed over $100 and told everything was OK and I was in no danger of anything catastrophic happening. Whithin a week the pickup made so much noise I all but stopped driving it. Took it to a dodge dealer recently and they immediately told me front universal was all but gone and in danger of coming apart (no charge). I have had resonable service from Anacortes Automotive in the past but I feel in this case they put me in danger with a poor diagnosis and then they even charged me for it.
