The Apple salesperson was well prepared and answered all of my questions. He was very knowledgeable about all the iPhone models and Apples services. I highly recommend making an appointment to talk to a sales representative. They have your undivided attention and theres no interruptions.
It was painful ~ actually painful. I received an iPad as a gift and accidentally erased everything ~ the device had to be reset. That took two hours and 35 minutes and four different people to do this.Additionally, the building has no insulation and this made it very difficult to hear what was being said. This company must rake in a million dollars every minute ~ couldnt they spend a few dollars on insulation? The tiny stools are a little bit more comfortable that sitting on a cactus. Two employees were lounging by the entrance and watched me try to open the inordinately heavy doors. When I almost fell trying to open the door one of the people slowly strolled over and grunted (yes, he grunted) as he most reluctantly opened the door. He was 10 feet away from the door. The person who ended up fixing the problem did apologize for the inconvenience. This was a horrible experience.
Apple devices are sensitive and I’m okay with that. One of my favorite devices had a fall and needed to be returned. The staff were very helpful, professional and courteous. As many are a part of the Apple Family it can get pretty busy in the store; however there were more than enough staff to meet the needs of those seeking assistance.Sometimes it is best to go to the manufacturer.Thank you Apple 🍎 🍏
Killed my iPhone X, unapologetic and unresponsive. Aging iPhone X had a screen replacement this spring and good as new, until the battery went wonky (not holding charge, sudden shut downs). Scheduled online for $69 battery replacement. Kept my appointment, waited through diagnostics, told I would have to leave it overnight for the repair, and yes, its the battery. They were aware it had an aftermarket replacement screen. Told me itd be repaired and ready at 10:30am next day. No interim contact, though they had my email. Arrived next day: Not repaired, just made much worse. They presented me the phone with the screen fully detached from the unit (but for one wire), said not their screen and face ID device is broken. Face ID tested fine (by them) before I left it. Nothing they could do, but if I want to wait for salesperson to be free, they can sell me a new phone I hadnt needed yesterday, at full price. They suggested I go to the repair shop where the screen was replaced to see if they could do the service. I did, and the knowledgeable techs there were shocked at how Apple had treated the phone. Apple tech had clearly pried off screen without removing the screws or tabs at the base (which were under a wrap I told them they could remove), so that face recognition unit was broken (half stuck to screen, half still within base), speaker unit busted, and just not good. I went back to Apple Store and had a half hour complaint session with the store manager and a tech, upshot being they had not charged me for repair, I had signed (a blank signature screen) when I dropped the phone to them, what was broken was an aftermarket part (not really - it was the Apple original face recognition camera element that they had broken taking off the aftermarket screen), they take no responsibility for breaking the phone when opening it up. They offered no accommodation whatsoever, not even any credit or discount toward a replacement phone. I walked in with a fully functional iPhone with battery issues, walked out with a junky paperweight and zero satisfaction.
I brought in a MacBook with an issue. Despite being unable to tell me what or why the computer was having an issue, they were incredibly presumptuous and assumed that I would fix it through apple, no questions asked. They asked me to approve the repair without sharing the price. I let them know I would be reviewing my options before commuting to a ‘flat rate repair’ with no concrete information on what was wrong with the machine. I was told I would receive a report with the diagnostic information from the appointment— had to track it down myself through corporate and then the store.
All staff was kind and courteous, from the security guard all the way to the Apple Geniuses, which isnt something that happens at all locations. The only negative was, we had a 1:15pm appointment to get our machine looked at, and we werent seen by a genius until about 1:45pm. I am wondering if walk-in gets priority as there was a group of younger customers who came in after us, and they saw a genius faster than we did.
It took over 2 and a half hours to fix a tiny problem on pad.So very noisy ~ So much money and apple could not afford decent insulation?Got handed off to four different people.Did I mention the two men who watch you try to open the very heavy door?I hated being there.
Fantastic experience with Maurice at the Apple store to make a purchase. I wasnt sure about scheduling an appointment so I popped in. He answered every single question, was helpful with tips, and was just a really nice person.
The elderly man at the front door is unprofessional. He yells at people walking into the store without a mask instead of considering that most people are unaware that Apple requires all folks (vaccinated and Unvaccinated) to wear a mask. There is no sign at the door and when I scheduled my appointment there was no communication about the mask requirement. There is a different way to communicate this message without the judgmental attitude. Most folks like myself have no problem putting on a mask but yelling at people is just dumb and ineffective. Felt very uncomfortable being in this store and don’t recommend.
To be honest it’s a great place and the service was perfect everyone was so friendly and helpful to resolve my issues with the iPad and very good accommodating my handicapped grandmother but I recommend this location the only minor thing is parking but everything else is perfect
Had a really good experience today! The two genius members who helped me fixed my issue with no hassle. I was only there about a half hour and it seemed organized with all the Covid-19 protocol. Thank you guys for your help!
Had an awesome experience today with Cheryl who helped me get the right iPad for my son. Shes a great ambassador for Apple. She was friendly, personable, and listened to my needs. She didnt just push me into the most expensive model and together we got the right product. COVID protocols were organized, effective and FRIENDLY. I felt safe, cared for and respected.
Clean upscale shopping and eating plaza . Yes they have a Apple store.
I called them just to get availability and lady on the phone told me AppleStores do not sale iPhone 12 and she actually not in the store and I could not understand what she was saying. Connection was like I called somewhere in India where they have no service
Love the atmosphere! Nice shops and the gardens and perfect, if you like eating outdoors.
Went their to my ipad fixed they were really courteous and prompt.
Lots of cool stores and places to eat. Pleasant atmosphere and very enjoyable.
Told me something completely different than what I was told by Apple tech support. I was having signal problems with my iPhone, They told me since it was a known issue with that generation they were offering replacements. They said to go to the store and they would handle it. When I got there, and waited over 30 minutes to talk to a genius I was told they would what I was told and that they be happy to sell me a replacement.
Went there because my brother had trouble unlocking his iPhone. Display items for iPads and the Apple Pencil worked.Edit - The last time I went there in September my gold MacBook Air had to get fixed because it had loading issues due to me installing macOS Big Sur on it. Customer experience was good- they returned my Mac after 2-3 days 😊
I didnt have to wait long. I got in got what I needed and was on my way back out to enjoy this beautiful day. The staff were friendly and the store was sanitized between each interaction and customer.
Apple us Apple, and as always the experience in this store is amazing. It is located at Suburban Square, what is also a must go place.
I love Apple, I have almost every product. That being said, this store is ridiculous! They have you make an appointment to pick up online orders. What a joke! They had people standing outside in the sleet. Once inside you have to wait again, no pick up. In line behind people with computer problems needing technical support. I counted 9 people behind the glass walking around. When I asked if they could get my order they said no, they are “technical support.” I waited for over an hour and a half to pick up an online order!
IPad quality is a joke now, there is a white spot on my iPad and it’s a common issue for iPad according to Reddit, and some people report it that they went to the apple store nearby and had it replaced even it is outta warranty. I went there the guy just said we never repair it for free for products out of warranty and shamed the Reddit that only people on there believe that. Ugh.Make sure to buy apple care if you really want an iPad, the quality is really not what it used to be.
The guy that talked to me wasnt condescending while I was acting childish and immature while throwing a tantrum when he wouldnt replace my battery for free. A++++
Bought my iphone here last year and had some issues with it so I went there and person on the desk was really polite and got it fixed within 1 hr would recommend them again...
Very bad experience at this store. I had to get my phone’s battery replaced and i was given appointment for 4.30pm. First of all I had to wait 40 minutes out in the cold till 5.10 to get in the store while other people who were there to buy new stuff were given priority to enter in the store. That did not make sense to me. Also, once I got in there the Rep told me that they can not do the repair because its too late now as they close the store at 6. Not sure whats the point of appointment in that case. In addition to that, they did not even had the battery at the store. When I made the appointment they said they will have everything in store available to do the repair. Total waste of time. This changed my mind and move away from apple next time.
Do not trust the PostMates delivery from this or any location. Theft is rampant. The speed is not worth the risk of theft or damage
Great service. Help us out a lot.
I made an appointment for 3:20pm on 12/21/2020 I arrived to my appointment on time to be told there was a slight wait. They are currently making their clients wait outside of the store (It was 35 degrees outside) I then was not able to go in and be assisted by the Genius bar until 3:55pm. I waited outside in the cold for 35 minutes with an appointment. They refused to give me a call when they were ready so I could comfortably wait in the car. Very poor and inconsiderate service especially coming from a company like Apple.
Told me turnaround for myLaptop repair would be 3-5 days, nearing two weeks now, no tracking number, nothing. Pretty sure they lost myLaptop. No one answers the phone or gets back to me. Apple is a joke.
This place is on point. Be sure to make an appointment before going. There are two separate lines. The staff are helpful and friendly.
They Not attend any Costumers Without Appointmentswhich is insane.
I had such a great experience buying my new phone thanks to Maurice! I’m not great with anything techy and big purchases make me nervous, but Maurice was super helpful in making sure I had the phone set up as I wanted it and even patiently waited while I updated my Verizon stuff. I finished all my other set up things at home with no issue. Thank you again Maurice! The store feels super safe. You are supposed to make an appointment for purchases/fixes and they have temp checks and socially distant lines at the door. It felt really clean and super safe. For anything Apple, I’ll definitely come back to this location.
Good customer support and customer service
Super friendly staff here! One day I was really frustrated about a locked iPhone and it happened right at the start of COVID-19 so they were really booked with appointments. The guy who worked there saw how frustrated I was a made space to fit me in the following day early in the morning. I also recently purchased a MacBook for pick up at this location and they are friendly and move very efficiently.
The guy outside directing the lines, sucks! Doesnt know what hes doing and had people waiting 45 minutes for no reason. Employees not on the same page and giving terrible advice
Excited customer care. Prompt and attentive.
Extremely useless tech and such a waist of time. Explained our issues and showed him prof. He ran a simple basic diagnostic and came back with a resolution that I’ve done twice before including once with a genius tech.
Parking may be a pain but nice lil shopping area.
I had pick up a order registered for 12:30 for my friend. I get there early wait a bit till one of the individuals are ready to notice me. Its freezing outside the gentleman outside called back looking for my order it took 10minutes until he called again and then they said I could come in.I get there but no one knew that I was also there to replace the item that was ordered incorrectly.A receipt was needed but I called it in and explained it to Alicia on the phone that I did not have a receipt. She told me it would be an exchange. The communication between the on the phone order and the actual store do not communicate.
Sunday I visited this store at 1315 to check in for an order that I had scheduled an appointment to pick up at 1330. I walked up got in line and patiently waited. When the security (a tall back man approximately 6 foot 3 inches slightly heavy set) approached I pulled out my phone to give the order number. This man ripped my phone out of my hand treating me with gross disrespect but I was polite and he returned my phone after the altercation. He told me the order name was wrong after I provided the name of the person picking up the package instead of the person on the credit card. I called 1800 my apple and fixed the problem got back in line and when I tried to check in for my order this time after my window had started the same man dropped my phone and told me my order still was not ready . Though I had made an appointment. The disrespect from staff and poor planning on the stores part cost me 3 hours of drive time, my wait in line, and being treated like a second class citizen after spending over $1000 at this store
This team went above and beyond. Everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and informative. In particular, David B and Earl went out of their way to help me. Very appreciative and will be returning to this store for any business in the future.
I had a wonderful experience...I dont say this lightly. I have procrastinated about upgrading my device...but Apple made it so easy. Its been 10 years. It was waaaaay over due. But sticking with Apple was not my 1st choice until I spoke with staff. 1st Ernest helped to narrow down and pin point the problem. He offered solutions but my device was too old. I then worked with Kyle who demonstrated the new apps and features. Whats more he explained the long term benefits of the upgrade. Kyle assured me that I can always in a reasonable amount of time, change my mind. I ended up being so confident that I purchased a whole new device! I followed Kyles instructions on how to back it up...it worked! Thank you Apple! Your support and extra attention gave me the courage to do stuff I have never done...and Kyle I hope Apple recognizes this technique and you should write it down and train other staff...good luck, kw...btw, I didnt feel pressured to buy....it was more like how can we help you get the most out of your device, even if you dont spend much.
Loved my experience here. Best if you have an appointment prior to going if tech support.
They scammed me out of my Apple care warranty on my Apple Pencil after I placed a replacement order on Tuesday claiming that it wasn’t covered after TELLING ME it was. After sitting on the phone for 30 minutes with apple support, I made multiple attempts to call the store. After 8 minutes of ringing, they answered the phone and hung up immediately without speaking to me. Horrible support and unhelpful/uneducated staff
Worst Apple store around. If you want good service please go to another Apple store.
I would give this store 0 stars if it was an option. I made an appointment to purchase a new phone. They gave the new phone, and started erasing my ild one un front of me. Based on the time they spent I thought they were setting up my new phone as well. When I saw that the new phone was not set up, I asked for their help. The associate said they were too busy and I had to set it up myself. Well setting up my new phone without the old one took me over 2 days. I never heard of this before, we but a $1000 equipment and the store is “too busy to help you?
Omg they work fast and they help you try to save money
Excellent service by the whole team! I was greeting by a Manager & he was able to squeeze me in for an emergency appointment. Thanks to everyone that helped me in my time of need :)
Help with Difficult Technical IssueThanks to Genius Allison for her help in resolving an issue which could not be fixed at Verizon or via Apple remote tech support. She understood how important my lost tech streams were to me personally, and I appreciated her empathy, as well as her expertise! Many times thank you!
Terrible store with terrible communication and customer service,I took a MacBook Pro for repair with explicit instructions to not send out the computer for repair unless a backup could be made on the hard drive I provided. Of course the tech did not read the note and I got a blank computer back.No body answers the phone, ever! Even Apple support cannot get through to anyone at the store (they tried 3 times on 3 separate days). I would get a message from the store asking me to call them back and then be unable to reach anyone despite calling back numerous times. The staff are friendly in person, however. I think the issue is the store management and the way it is run.If you have access to another Apple store I would go there. The store on Walnut street is pretty good, although they seem to closed right now.
Called about iphone charging cables for the X. rep on the phone said they had them in stock for pickup. got to the location and the greeter said they did not have any charging cables and haven’t had them for a while. not sure where the disconnect was there. i even thought i possibly called the wrong location but when i checked my call history the location matched with the number. kind of annoyed that i had to deal with that. the greeter there was very nice though,so for that i give them two stars.
Extremely disappointed with my experience here on Jan. 12th. First of all, there is a Apple mob standing outside who are not helpful beyond making you stand outside in the cold while they warm themselves periodically inside. After taking my 5:20 appointment they allowed someone with a later appointment to enter before we did. (That customer apologized profusely...but it wasnt their fault) We continually asked why the wait to no avail. After about 30 minutes of waiting, one of the same geniuses that we saw standing in the back of the store not doing anything..finally let us in . The genius went to the back without taking my computer and returned to tell us that they could not diagnose my older model Apple computer!!!???So basically we wasted appx one hour of our lives, 45 minutes of that standing outside in the cold waiting for them to tell me something they could have easily said when the official Apple customer service site could have said upfront. I honestly doubt that the official Apple customer service site could have made this error. I think that the lack of ability to diagnose the problem lies with the Ardmore store. Bottom line ..no geniuses here go elsewhere and save your time
Too crowded long wait times and only to be told that they cant help the phone has to be sent in.
Worst of the worst. Ordered a iphone mini in a white and I cancel it through their phone service and I ordered a blue one. I picked up the blue one and not the white one. 3 days after I picked up the blue one. The white one was picked up by someone. Whats going on? Their employees stealing?
My Apple Watch 6 was delivered with a defect. Apple Support would not do a swap of my 3-day old device but required me to send it in for repair- made me VERY angry. Apple Suburban Square did the swap without hesitation. Thats the way a great company should treat its customers!!
Needed to buy one thing and after waiting in line for a few minutes they brought me in and within a few more I was out with what I needed. Very professional and nice staff.
Trevor and Dean were AWESOME! Trevor thank you so much for your patience and expertise! You are an intelligent humble individual. Trevor and Dean were very knowledgeable and fast. I can’t say enough about you all. You made my experience wonderful!
They were super organized and best customer service ever
I make an appointment for replacement my earphone in week age. I come today before 11.am so Im on right time. After that 20 minutes later, I aks another help on the floor. He tells me that he is not a technician.he said he is selling the phone. I said can u check how long I can wait? I ask for the manager too. When I aks that time someone to see me. My point is I make an appointment last 7 days age. They late in 26 minutes. Ultimately there is no point to make this type apportionment. Coz our time is important.
Awesome experience picking up my online order. They are doing temperature checks at the door, and have the store set up well so everyone is able to maintain social distancing. Very well staffed. Every employee was extremely friendly, even with the extra safety precautions, it reminded me of pre-covid times - social interaction.
They couldn’t fix my phone but when we went in the first guy told me to come back at 4:00 and it took us close to an hour to get there but a guy came over and gave me an answer about my phone witch saved us a lot of wasted time
I was there looking for the new IPhone 12 but I didnt get it. But there is was an employee who was trying to help me to have one, his name was ROY a white male guy his customer service was EXCELLENT.Thank ROY.
I was extremely pleased with the service that I received at the Suburban Square Ardmore Apple store.
For all those money you spend with Apple be prepared to be treated like sh...t!
Had no issue with my last visit. Nice staff.
Absolutely useless. Wasted an hour of my day.
Good customer service
Jamal H. UNPROFESSIONAL! Poorest of service
Waited in long line outside only to be told (once I was under the employee tent) that unless my phone was physically broken, that I couldnt go in ... #uuggghh
If I can give below 10 thats will fair enough. One of the worst apple store may be in whe the world.. They are extremely rude, unprofessional and threatening you with some bodyguards standing outside as if you are going in to steal something...
Been coming here since I was a kid
Clean, knowledge and helpful
Very efficient staff. They know their business. Im android, but my granddaughter busted her screen, and they worked until things were right. Make sure you have Apple Plus Insurance .
So I took my phone to this Apple store to see if I could get it fixed from water damage this past weekend. The person who helped me was very nice, however, not very helpful at all and told me that there was really nothing I could do. I took it to Staples today and they fixed my phone in less than 30 minutes, super efficient and helpful.
Customers are treated respectfully. Questions are answered truthfully!!! Options for solving problems are presented clearly.
I have been here about 10 times so far and have not been annoyed with anything. Staff has always been helpful, given knowledgable and honest answers in most cases when I have had questions. Parking is a little difficult at times. I will definitely be back in the future, and I must say my experience at this location has been perfect!
Very very unorganized... apple as a whole is one of the worst companies ever.
They were excellent in solving my problem
Called the Suburban store about car chargers. Anthony was quite helpful. He answered all my questions. He offered suggestions to make it easier to find what I was looking for, as I’m not sure the car charger they sell will fit in my car.
I bought a mac book pro. It came with a defective charger. I tried exchanging it. I was made to wait - doing an exchange at the mac store is something they consider complicated. After 2 hrs of waiting at genius bar to have a genius do a test (plugging it in to see that it was dead) I left. After cooling down. I came back next week and spoke with a manger, lucky for me and them, she found me. The staff was supper hesitant to help. They had lots of random reasons why I need to wait. The manger had a guy just do it. Took 1 minute. A lot of employees seem to stand around doing nothing but telling people to wait for random reasons unless ya want to buy something.
I wasn’t too happy about the 2+ hour wait, but now I know to make an appointment before going. Ruben helped us and was very helpful & friendly. After the long wait it was a relief to have our issue resolved and by such a great person. Thank you so much!!
This store has really improved in recent years, it used to be quite average. We took our phone in to get repaired and they had it done quickly, and with no fuss.In particular Im a fan of the manager, Matt, he has helped me with some gnarly issues.
Never disappointed me! As always they really try to understand the problem you’re having with your device. They try their best to fix your problem with a reasonable wait time.If you are from Delaware County or Philadelphia area then consider them for any Apple related problem.
Dealt with the Manager Matt today, absolutely great guy! Thank you so much for taking the time and going over all my questions. Best store and best guy!
Walked in. The store appeared busy. Checked in with a very nice person. Told him I wanted to buy a new computer. Was sent over to a staging area to wait for sales representative. As you look around the store most of the people are wearing Apple shirts and are employees. Talking among themselves. Not actually helping customers. As I continue to stand and wait for sales representative. Five other people come into the store and are greeted and helped immediately, while I’m continuing to stand waiting for a salesman. When I asked to speak to a manager two separate floor personnel give me attitude about the fact that “we’re trying to get somebody to help you.” When i finally do speak to someone I’m not even sure it was a manager cause it was one of the people standing around on the floor the whole time watching me stand waiting for a “sales person.” As you look around the store everybody’s just standing around. Absolutely horrible customer service. Guess you don’t want my $3500.
Quick and Convenient Better than Center City
Personally not a apple person but the items I buy for my family they love it so thats good enough for me just to see them happy...also I respect the level of customer service preorders normally have me in and out! But I still team android until proven other wise!
To sum up the experience here: rude security guards manning the door and the manager inside could care less
Good service if you fit a certain demographic, and dont simply walk up to the front of the store attempting to be helped or you will get an extremely cold brush-off from the manager. Maybe the rules/ etiquette/ politics of the Apple Store should be clearly stated. Definitely will not be going into this place again.
Good safe setup for COVID.
Run the diagnostics and assured me that the issue is not hardware on my mac pro. Not only did not fix the issue, but also erased all data and eventually asked me to pay 475 dollars to fix the hardware. The most exciting part is the agreement that you have to sign to get your device fixed:Apple may use parts or products that are new or equivalent to new in reliability and performance. It means that the parts of used devices maybe installed and you will be charged for new and unused parts!!!!
I have a new I phone 10S problems with sinking my e mail addresses and password. I had the most patient young man Max, what a gem he was. Helped me, showed me, and taught me. This was great customer service, and I’m in the customer service business. Great job Apple for hiring the best.
Made appointment to have battery replaced in iPhone 6. So called Genius said they could not do it as phone was bent. Only thing bent was his cockamamy excuse to get me to buy a new phone. Wonder if there will be a class action suit ?
A lot of people... But I guess that should be common for most apple places xd. Overall a nice shop. Bought iPhone 11 there. Staffs are helpful.
