Great spot for an easy coffee. Never too crowded if you go at the right time. And with a drive through if youre in a rush!

I ordered a simple vanilla sweet cream cold brew double vanilla this morning. While waiting at the window for 10 minutes I witnessed threw the glass 6 other drinks being made and lined up to be handed out the drive threw window. Then my drink was made, after I completed my short drive to work I took a sip of my coffee and thats exactly what I got. Bitter, nasty, regular Starbucks coffee poured over ice. No vanilla, definitely not double vanilla and CERTAINLY NOT SWEET! For the amount of workers, and for what these drinks cost the LEAST they can do is make it correct. Every I go to this location on Squirrel theres an issue. I let time pass, forget and go back only to be reminded that every time theres something incorrect about the order. I guess Ill stick with the ones on Baldwin at 75 and the one in Lake Orion on 24. Unless you have a super simple order like black coffee, stay away from this location on Squirrel.

It’s October Starbucks has no hot coffee available. Ordered coffee, they told me they don’t have any. Offered me espresso with water. Could of offered to brew fresh coffee since I was waiting in line anyhow. Pure lazy

Horrible, placed an online phone order and paid with a gift card using $11, could not even find the Starbucks, google maps didn’t know where it was either. Waste of money and time. Didn’t even get drinks that were paid for.

This Starbucks is just not a good one. Says it’s open until 8 and half the time it’s not even open at all and there are no signs telling anyone that. Super frustrating. And when the employees see you trying to ask, they look at you and then act like they didn’t see you.

The Squirrel Road Starbucks employees are a delight everyday. If there are a ton of people there, the employees still manage to treat you as if you’re the only one in the building.They are always excited and happy to offer me a pup cup when I bring by Hector, my chocolate lab.Best Starbucks I’ve visited.

Placed a mobile order at 10:33am to be picked up inside at 10:42am. Got there and doors were locked and drive thru like was backed up to Applebee’s. Waited for 30 more minutes to pick up my order that sat there. Drinks were water downed by the time I got them. Very disappointed. Don’t have an inside pick up option if doors are locked.

We got there and doors were closed and drive thru was also closed, at 1:20pm … many cars just trying to find out what’s happening. Totally disappointing as no explanations neither fulfillment of the opening hours.

Arrived at 6:52 with an 8pm close time only to be rudely told “we’re closed” when we walked inside. Why was the door unlocked if you’re closed? Why are you closing early? Per the other reviews this happens often.

Be prepared to sit in a 20 minute drive thru line because they kept the walk-in door locked and shut at 8:00am…

Worst location ever. Either they are closed, out of everything, or the line is 20 cars long with many trying to get out of the drive through line. This is not the Starbucks standard.

Just went in at 9 a.m. and had a mobile order. The lady working the mobile section ignored me. Didnt greet or ask if I had a mobile order. Kept me waiting and helped the people before me. I was okay with this. But, when she finished she still ignored me. Several minutes later, she greeted and asked for order information from 2 new customers that walked in after me. When I got upset she said I was suppose to tell her why I was waiting and that she wasnt suppose to ask. Yet, she did ask the two new customers and claimed she didnt know if I had ordered or not. Basically, blaming me for her rude, incompetent behavior. I have been going to this location for years and only had an issue with this one lady. Generally, I have had good experiences at this location. On another occasion this lady gave me grief but I gave her the benefit of the doubt ( having a bad day, or busy morning). But this time I felt the need to complain. I did make a customer complaint and the company apologized for my negative experience. They offered a refund which wasnt my goal. I simply wanted to inform Starbucks of their employee bad behavior.

They say they only allow mobile ordering and drive through ordering, but when I told them they’re mobile ordering wasn’t working, they weren’t willing to take my order. I guess drive through is the only option.

Not the fastest service, and it doesnt need to be. My drinks are always perfectly crafted here, so I find myself hitting the drive through even when the line is long. Its good theyre raising the starting wage to $15, but they need to do it faster. All these hardworking baristas service more people than I can imagine.

I love this starbucks location. When I had my internship I stopped by there almost every morning to get my iced coffee and the workers are super nice and quick at expediting the orders for people. Never have I ever had to wait long at all for my drink even when theyre busy. One employee that shined the most to me was this sweet African American girl who started to remember my name in the morning for mobile pickup. When I went in and she was working she would just ask me if its a pick up for Emily and I would happily say yes! And she handed me my drink. I felt so welcome and special, she makes my mornings when I go there along with any of the other employees! Would recommend to stop by there on your morning routine.

Starbucks closes its doors at 6 now, how do they turn a profit?

For some reason this place is not always open. Three times I have driven there on a Friday or Sunday and its closed. Weird

It’s barely open anymore. They should just close all together. Closing at 2:30pm on weekends and 4pm on a weekday. Ridiculous.

Just saying.... open your lobby on Sunday’s. More traffic, more $$? Hire people. Stop being part of the problem and start being part of the solution. Usually pretty good here. This morning something was in my coffee. When it slipped into my mouth it tasted like a cigarette. See for yourself in the picture. Not going here for a while until they find and fix what happened.

The worst customer service! It was 10 ppl working if not more! I asked Kelly the manager to check to price of the holiday cups which says 30% off...online as well....they all were ringing up regular price. She says that she doesnt have time to look at what is on sale and did not stock that display. Its not like its even 20 items! I was a customer just like everyone else....yet I either took what she was saying or move out the way. I was ready to spend alot of money on gifts and cards for co-workers that drink this on a regular basis....No more! Ill spend else where!

They accepted orders for pickup and did not allow pickup. The whole idea to order ahead of time is to reduce wait time when there are 15 cars in drive through. I wasted $14 with no possibility to pickup my order ☹️

Coffee was cold. So was the sandwich I ordered. Was in a rush and there was a line behind me and I was in a hurry so didnt bother to inform the staff but yes, for a relatively early morning breakfast that was a huge downer.

I live in the area and believe me when I say that this Starbucks is one of the worst Starbucks in the Detroit area, if not THE worst . I go 6 miles out of my way to avoid this Starbucks. I’ve been coming to the Starbucks in the area ever since they opened but when they build this new one a couple of years ago they constantly get my order wrong. That’s 1 out of three times . Or how about they take orders out of turn so people that order after you got their orders first ! 10 car in the drive- thru in normal . Also normal is there is no place to sit down with the OU students over running the place . Mobile orders aren’t any better because the staff is constantly forgetting to check an item as being sold out . So you go to pickup only to have them tell you they ran out. The Starbucks on Baldwin just off I-75 is better managed so its only a few minutes away on the expressway. Good luck.

Mark is absolutely amazing! He was killing it making drinks and kept a positive attitude.I waited 25 minutes for my breakfast sandwich, even after talking to the woman behind the register how long it would be twice(first time I asked her was after waiting for 10 minutes), and as soon as I mentioned it to Mark he ran over and made my sandwich himself. I watched him do this for 2 other people as well.

Overall, one of the better locations in the area. Reasonable amount of seating, team is typically friendly and usually gets the orders right in contrast to several others nearby. Drive through is slow and usually packed, though.

I like this location; however maybe it’s time to extend hours to 24 hours with lobby open since it would benefit local & out of state students. However, while many might say this coffee is overpriced the firm is at least trying to help their baristas get earn tuition reimbursement to remedy the student loan problem. As much as it may sound a burden to some to take this as a loss, please consider the benefits this location would offer to those working and not partying because time is a challenge and at the least it would offer a cool spot to hang out as well as make your location much more different while making profit. In addition, it would offer other students the opportunity to pay down debt; hence, making the student loan problem less likely default based on the subject of study.

People are great but there are so many mobile orders you cant just go in when you want a coffee on the way to work. You will wait a long time and most of the drinks orders that come up are for people not yet there... ugh

I go to this Starbucks regularly; the staff are ALWAYS friendly. Could be bigger with more seating as OU is right there and you cant always get a place to sit. Sometimes service can be long but I would say this is one of my regular go to places if you need to do work. Drive through can get hectic but this place is great for what they have to work with.

By far the best Starbucks location in the area, and Ive been to almost all of them! Exceptional service and wonderful staff.Im writing this review specifically because of an incident this morning: I decided to go to a different Starbucks that is directly on my route to work (Baldwin Rd.). My winter drink is a latte with sweet cream (not milk). I start driving on I-75 and take a sip...not my drink. Its a Monday, and I was looking forward to my latte! The label wasnt correct either. This was definitely coffee with just creamer. I decided to just go back to my normal location (this one) and buy (again) my normal drink there. I said to the employee giving me my drink, You know, I decided this morning to go to the other location because its closer, and they didnt make my drink anything close to correct. I learned my lesson and Im not going to stray from this location! What did she do? She gave me my drink - free. She said, They messed up - you arent paying for this. This location did nothing wrong, yet went out of their way to make my day better and correct their mistake!

Busiest Starbucks in the state of Michigan they say, Id say the busiest in the whole Midwest but I never have to wait long inside. The drive thru is always 5 deep. Recommend using the SB order ahead app here. Always great employees, working hard but friendly.

Not much to say. Nothing stands out about this particular location. This was my first time inside a Starbucks in several years. I now remember why I dont go. $10+ for 2 drinks is crazy to me. Staff are a bit too pretentious for people making coffee. I only went because my daughter asked to go.
