Kivaka did my cartilage about 7-10 yrs ago and I was back today for my outer Helix and I love it!! I hardly felt anything. Everything was clean and sterilized in front of me. I cant wait for this one to heal to come back for my next one.

BEST PIERCER! I have had my nose pierced 3 x times, I am 43 yrs old. The 1st 2 when I qas younger and they closed because I took them out for work. The third, was horrible with another piercer, 2 yrs ago,it was so irritated and swollen for quite awhile, he did nothing to help. So I removed it. The left side is important for me, I didnt think I could pierce my left side anymore but here he really was the most professional person and piercer I have ever met, knowledge and best quality jewelry. Now it is pierced properly on the left side no problems at all!

Took my 11 year old to get her ears pierced for the first time a few days ago. He gave her a lot of time and attention and some solid advice. She was nervous but he made it manageable for her. She loves them and Im really happy with the result as well.

10/10 would be pierced by again. Out of all the places I’ve had piercings, this is by far my favorite. Super friendly guy, easy location, sanitary and well priced. I went to get an old crooked piercing corrected and he did a fantastic job. I even took my little sister here to get her first cartilage piercing done. Kivaka was super helpful and informative throughout the process as he walked her through the details about caring for cartilage piercings.

He gave me a good nose piercing and recommended after care products for me. He made sure I went for the right choice. I chose had previously chose one that wasnt suitable. He made recommendations and was super friendly. It wasnt as painful the nose piercing though.

Kivaka is good at piercing. However, if you are heading into your appointment under the impression you will be treated with respect and dignity, you might want to re-evaluate your expectations. I recommended Kivaka to a friend and immediately regretted it when we walked in. He was passive-aggressive, condescending and even diminished and shamed the ideology of women’s rights (after intruding on our conversation). He provoked me using a rude and accusatory tone but because he was about to stick a needle in my friends nose, I bit my tongue and left the shop in anger. I will not be going back or recommending him to anyone in the future.

10/10 recommend. I got my daith pierced and was really really nervous but he is the coolest most down to earth dude ever. He’s not fake, wont scam you, etc. Made sure I knew everything before, during, and after the piercing so he was really knowledgeable. The place was really clean and professional. Definitely hurt a lot but he asked me over and over if I was okay. Also SUPER reasonable prices. Not too expensive but still really good quality. Definitely gnna go back to get another piercing soon!

Hes very professional, made me feel really comfortable and at ease; it was a great experience. He wont try to overcharge you, if anything, dont forget to tip if youre paying with a card because he wont bring it up! Kivaka is the only piercer I go to. He is super nice and really knowledgeable. I’ve gone to him a bunch of times and every time I know that I’m getting good service. He’s not someone that is going to jip you either. He is fair with his pricing. Also, he answers all of my questions and it’s really helpful!

I went there about a month ago (maybe two now) to initially get a triple forward. I had this piercing done a few years back at a different place, but they didnt do a great job, and it also eventually got infected so I took it out. I loved that piercing, so I asked his opinion on it. He straight up told me that my ears are too small and the best he could do was two piercings instead of three. Love the honesty! But thats not what I wanted at all. He told me a triple conch would look good on me with the shape of my ears, etc. This is a piercing I would never have thought of, and I was nervous agreeing to it, but obviously I did. I am also afraid of needles. During the process I had to lay down between each piercing because I was feeling light headed. I apologized to him a million times for being a baby, but he was super nice about it and waited every time until I was ready. He even told me stories, made jokes, and talked about random things to keep my mind off the needle. I LOVE this piercing! Definitely am going back to him if I am wanting another piercing!!!

Kivaka is an educated professional body modifier. I have received all my piercings from him and will not allow any other piercer to touch me. He is extremely professional and 100% most sanitary. I went here to get a cartilage piercing and I was super scared! My pain tolerance is very low and I thought it was going to hurt a lot. But when I came in he was very calm and very easy going which helped since I was veryyy nervous. Highly would recommend this place especially if you are going outside your comfort zone (like I did) because he is very nice and easygoing.

5 star customer service. I went in wanting to correct a ear piercing that had stretched out and rather than just taking my money and doing what i asked he recommended that I look into getting the cartilage repaired rather than mask the hole by piercing right above it.Hard to find honest service but he is proof it still exists!Side note, work station was clean and he seemed to take sanitation seriously.

Wanted nose pierced. Researched. Chose the best. Spotless office. Completely professional. No problems with the piercing. Freaked out the first time the wire turned itself around… he moved it back and educated me. Needed to remove jewelry due to severe nosebleed (unrelated to piercing) and hole immediately closed….. he graciously and kindly re-pierced – for free. When my daughter is 16 and ready for her first piece of body jewelry or tattoo Kivaka is the ONLY place we will go.

After so many weeks of research and looking around for a good experienced body piercing person, I found the most unique, talented, great personality, funny and with miracle hands guy named Kivaka.....I consider myself a tattoo person and in no way into piercings, I get terrified just to think about it but I was decided to get an industrial piercing. The experience was absolutely amazing, fast and with little pain to zero pain; I felt welcome and very comfortable, he did the work in a flawless way and I will be visiting him again soon for my navel piercing. I recommend him a 100% and you wont be disappointed in any way, the shop is clean and his studio is very private and equipped with everything needed, as a microbiologist Im very conscious about clean and sterile tools and the ethics of this man are impeccable and very professional.

Got a nose piercing somewhere else and it got infected very badly so i was recommended to come here to get it re-pierced and hands down the best decision. i waited a few months to write this review incase the same thing happened, but it actually healed this time :))))) piercer is very knowledgeable and told me exactly what to and what not to do in order to avoid it getting infected again. great customer service and prices

Called a couple days ago to ask about piercings. Very professional and when I came in was over within 20 mins. Very well priced and the guy was very cool about it. He said my nips would hurt the day after but actually no pain at all the next day and very pleased with his service. I would definitely go back if i decide to get more piercings.
