If you’re looking for a good place to shoot, this place is awesome. However customer service could be better. Went into purchase a firearm, and asked to see .45’s specifically. The guy at the counter just pointed like “they’re over there” didn’t ask if I needed any help making a decision or anything… okay whatever. So I noticed they have a firearm similar to my uncles gun (which is my dream gun) so I called him to ask a few questions before purchasing the firearm. I decide I want to buy the firearm and asked to see. The guy refused to help me since I was on the phone w my uncle talking about the gun (understandable). This is my deal though if it’s like that, then put a sign up saying no phones allowed… it’s that simple.. or if that were the case, buddy could’ve stopped me prior to making the call, to inform me it was against policy and he wouldn’t have been able to sell me the firearm.. from the time I walked in I feel like they did not want to help, nor accept my money (which is fine, there are other, customer friendly stores around). So if you’re looking to shoot your firearm, it’s a great place to practice for the range. But if you intend on buying a firearm from here, id look for a more customer service friendly store

Great shop with a decent indoor pistol range. I have sold firearms on consignment here with hood success and found their rates to be competitive with other stores around. The indoor range is reasonably priced and there is no time limit.

I found an M1 carbine listed on guns international for this store. I contacted Dave and he immediately responded to my questions and was so wonderful to work with. The ease of purchase was better than any other experience Ive had buying a rifle. Once the paper work was done he shipped it out and I got it the next day. Wonderful rifle, wonderful store. Highly recommend.

Im speaking about just the firing range. This is literally a range with no frills. If you want lockers, a lounge, a restaurant, virtual/augmented ranges, and someone guiding you, then this place is not for you. However, if youre looking a place to shoot, take your time (they dont charge per hour!), and actually work on your skills. Youll enjoy it there.

My friend and I were brand new shooters and did not know what to expect going to the range for the first time. I didn’t get his name, but one of the employees took his time to explain the right firearm for new shooters and the rules of the range. He also watched us closely as we shot and politely corrected us on proper range etiquette. The range was clean and the staff regularly came in and swept the casings off of the floor. I will be coming back!

High FFL transfer fee at $45 and lots of highly priced guns! I know everything gun related is out of stock but it don’t justify these prices

Need better customer support for when purchasing a firearm. I am happy they are in business but after the events of the last few weeks I will no longer buy from them. I am now out looking for my dream Glock again and I think I found a place that fits me better when it comes to Glock anyway. They have a few good things going for them and some of the staff actually care but the rest really need to look at a sale with care.

Great little shop with very knowledgeable staff. Found two items for a rifle build today that have been out of stock at the big stores for weeks and the prices were 20% cheaper than I found online (not including the ridiculous shipping fees I would have paid).

My salesman was professional, very educated in his opinions. Younger gentlemen with long hair. There was a younger lady who was extremely disrespectful. I over heard her comments about some of the customers and honestly individuals like that give your business a horrible reputation. I will take my business else where, there are plenty of shops in denver who actually value customers.

Purchased a handgun firearm from here. Background check and deposit was $110. Waited 5 days and received a phone call to pick up my firearm. Arrived the next day and picked up my firearm and some hollow points. The firearm I purchased are in high demand which I understand for higher than MSRP. However, I value my life over a few dollars. Some of these reviews are absurdly inaccurate. If youre looking for a friendly business transaction, come here. I named my firearm Janet Reno. Its green, mean and a defensive firearm machine.

Completely unprofessional. Anti-authoritarian attitude with authoritarian messages. Judging costumer as criminals over well documented paperwork process failure is not the way of a 2A supporting business. Really dont understand how fuddy stores like this get by.

This is a great little neighborhood gun shop and indoor range. We really enjoy our range membership, ladies night and the professional handling of our online transfers. Obviously some challenges during this Covid period but excellent, knowledgeable personnel. Highly recommend!

I took my youngest Grandson & his girlfriend shooting at Firing Line on Christmas Eve 19. Her first time shooting anything above a BB gun. I had not been there in years. Its a little far as I live in Thornton.We got there at opening & there were a couple of other shooters ahead of us. Within 10 minutes, after purchasing some ammo, we were at our station & preparing to fire. : )The staff was awesome & the place was very clean, including the shooting area. We had no issues with ventilation.We shot for 2 hours & when we came out there mustve been 30 people in the store.This is a great place to take the kids shooting handguns & 22 rifles. I hadnt been shooting in a long time but will be back on a much more regular basis in the future.Thanks fellas. See you soon.

Price gouging ammo like all gun shops right now, but they do have some ammo. Had a lady turn to talk to someone and pointed her gun at me in the range and I left and have never shot there again. Lots of unsafe shooters seem to use the range, probably because location. The staff was friendly.

As many other people pointed out the customer service here is truly abysmal. Prices and transfer fees are too high. Most gun stores in the area are $50-$100 cheaper on average (except Centennial Gun Club of course). If it wasnt for their range and election panic buying every four years this place would have been out of business long time ago.

I visited The Firing Line after meeting one of their employees. I honestly don’t know his title, but based on his knowledge, demeanor and experience, I would think he would or could be their GM. David was extremely helpful and patient in teaching me everything I needed to know to have a successful and safe first experience firing at a range. Months later, he also helped me find my first shotgun, during the pandemic when it was nearly impossible to find one. Not only do I recommend the store and range, but I recommend asking for Dave if you go in. He’s a Pro’s pro.

This place is AMAZING, Lines are a little longer then usual lately. Its a great time and much needed stress relief with lots of fun and knowledge of using a fire arm!

They were properly staffed and had ammo for range participants.My main point, is that I was looking for 9mm and 10mm ammo, they only had 10mm for purchase, outside of the range. I didnt wind up buying because I didnt need what they had, but they havent inflated their prices due to the shortage. I applaud that decision and Ill be back.

One visit is all I needed. I have never been treated so rudely in any retail environment in my life. If I didnt need the item that I was looking for that they had, I never would have given them my money. God forbid you ask a question of someone. I understand that they are busy, however, to be spoken to a as a DI would speak to a boot and yell at you if you dont toe the line... needless to say, I will not be returning as a customer nor will I be recommending this place to anyone. The word is out.

Very friendly staff all around. Range officer was extremely accommodating. Free ladies on Monday is great, and I definitely bought my targets worth here. Ventilation system and sound dampening is lacking, though. Also, no bicycle rack, but they did let me secure to the flagpole out front.

This is the gun store I frequent often since its close to my house and I can say Ive only had a couple of good experiences. Other than that I tend to left disappointed, plus I hate having to ask them anything. I believe after today Ill no longer be going back with other gun stores being more friendly.

Great place to rent different handguns to get a feel before purchase or just to have fun with some new firearms. Good selection of new and used guns including a large number of consignment long guns and handguns. Good place for random accessories although might be cheaper on ammo at other outlets. Overall the guys here are friendly and knowledgeable~

Local range, Friendly staff. Gets pretty busy on the public side as you would expect on the weekends. Also kinda smokey but decent prices on targets and range fees. I like checking out the used section while Im stopping in. They allowed me to shoot my aluminum cased ammo, no rifle calibers/rifle range. Other than that its a nice little shop to go shoot you pistols and see whats for sale.

Called and spoke with Brad Lightner two weeks ago regarding my suppressor. I asked him to transfer it to Centennial Gun Club. Obviously offended, he said he should have charged me storage fees. Ah, yes. A suppressor takes up so much room. 🙄 Said he’d have someone call me back to finalize everything. Two weeks later...nothing. When I called in just now to check on it, he straight up hung up on me. I get that right now has to be tough for these guys with the high demand but that’s no reason to be a DH. You’re not curing cancer. Gun shops are a dime a dozen. Remember that the next time you dump on a customer, dopey. Unprofessional.

This is probably the best gun store and shooting range in Denver. The staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The variety of guns is incredible. Highly recommend this place.

Tried to buy a gun here a while back and i was denied. After appealing the denial it turns out that i was denied bc whoever filled out the form put that im a US citizen, when I am not. I feel like they owe me $15

This place is good and convenient for all level shooters. The staff is very professional and helpful especially Michael the range guy, he is very friendly and very helpful and professional and respectful to the law enforcement personnel and service members. Its very affordable to pay about $10 to shoot in the range, plus you can get a decent discount if you are a law enforcement personnel or a service member.

First time at this range/gun store. So if you want to use the range, the employee near the back of the store is who you want to talk to. When entering the lobby prior to the range room, there is a non member and member area stated in huge letters above each door.The guy that got me, my friend, and brother started for the range was extremely friendly and super fun to talk to. Basic targets are thirty cents each, ammo is reasonably priced for the convenience. We got to share two lanes, which was very nice. Room was empty when we got there, but when it was full, the ventilation did start to suffer a bit. You will notice the room will get pretty foggy, so some better ventilation would be nice. Overall though, it was a great first time at this place. The other people at the range were also very friendly. We will definitely be back!

I canceled my membership on this place. Most workers are very friendly except for one that worked last Monday during lady’s night and the manager. They both made my wife and daughter like this is not a place for ladies. Why have a lady’s night if you are going to make them feel that they don’t belong there. My wife and I have been going there for a while and never had any trouble and my wife was never questioned. But the moment she goes by herself, she is questioned as if she never has handle a weapon before, a little background she is a Veteran and her job was weapon repairer. And they made her feel like she was out of place in front of our daughter. Also, weapons are never cleaned (safety issue) and they malfunction. According to the manager it is normal for a weapon to malfunction.... dumbest thing I ever heard... in conclusion they rent weapons that are never serviced, they malfunction which is a safety hazard (they can hurt you) and they look down on females.

Loved it. Went with my lady friend here and my daughter so they could have their first time with a weapon, they loved it. Great selection, nice prices and surprisingly the area was the appropriate temperature.

Staff was very helpful and friendly, they answered all my questions without condescending in any way even though I am an admitted novice. Only reason they dont get 5 stars is that they advertise their doors are open at 10 am on Sundays and Im a stickler for being on time. I would definitely purchase another firearm here no questions asked.

I officialy love this place again! A year ago i was turned off to this place because of the staffs poor attitude. I went there last week to do a tranfer and was suprised to how pleasant the staff were. We joked and and had a talk about completing my build. The atmosphere did a 360 from a while ago, i plan on making this my home range from now on.

Amazing place to practice shooting! Loved the employees there and they were more than helpful when going in for my first time. The range is extremely safe and they’re very strict about their rules and guidelines when it comes to handling a firearm. Definitely will be going again more often!

Took my 11 year old son here to teach him how to shoot in real life instead of just video games. The Firing Line was JUST what i needed for him! It was a Monday (ladies shoot free) and so not very crowded at all. We had a nice lane in a corner where i could take time to talk to him and teach him. We were not rushed by any time limits. Along with the weapons I brought, we were easily able to rent something else he wanted to try out for just $10. This was the perfect spot for me to spend some time with my son in safety and relative quiet. Totally easy and stress free!

These guys are very helpful. I checked the prices on several handguns. Nice selection for what responsible prices. Of all the gun shops Ive visited in the area Id say they were the best. The staff seems to have a good knowledge base. I dont like when I go into a gun shop and the staff cant answer questions. This was definitely not the case here. I called prior to going in and even my phone experience was smooth.

Great little range to shoot, the staff is very nice and helpful. Cant beat the price for the range and ammo is a decent price to. I am a first time gun owner and would recommend this place for a first time owner or shooter.

They charge $15 for a background check. And a $30 “transaction fee”. Don’t buy online and pickup here. They charge too much for it. I gave them two stars for that. A few days later someone from the firing line found me on Facebook, super creepy, and wrote me a message about the review. I thought sending me a message on Facebook was very unprofessional and very creepy!! Glad they sold me guns in case I need them. I was going to take some friends there for the shooting range. I admit giving them two stars was a little harsh. But reaching out to me on Facebook was too far. I will give them one star instead.

I purchased my first firearm from these guys. Very helpful! The range price is reasonable as well!Update: I still come here, good group of guys. Membership is great for frequent shooters. The downside, no rapid fire. Double taps are allowed though.

Range doesnt allow ar-15 because it was quote too loud and was not allow draw from holster. Wasnt told this until half way through my range time and was not offered any sort of apology stating I should have known better.

Good range, Fair Price, and Friendly Service. the only Con, is that the booths arent as ventilated as they should be. but they are ventilated good enough to enjoy your time there. overall, i give it 5 stars.

Richard has a lifetime of experience with firearms and training and uses this skill to assess peoples situations and needs. He recommends products that are spot-on. The rest of the staff seem keen to help and have a really good base of product knowledge.The only reason I would ding the Firing Line operation a half star is that I would prefer that the range have better ventilation. The range should probably be rated separately from the store.

Ive been coming to this place for 13 years and Ive had nothing but great experiences. Their staff has always been helpful, informative, friendly and trustworthy. Mike helped me out a ton on my last visit. All of the guys behind the counter were very professional and helped me out with my recent purchase. I recommend this place to everyone I know and will continue to come back for years to come. I see a lot of bad reviews about this place saying they were treated poorly, etc. Ive never had any problems but I also treat the guys behind the counter with respect and wait my turn if theyre helping a customer. These guys love their job and love guns. Treat them fairly and I bet theyll reciprocate.

Ive honestly had a lot of help from them despite being denied my firearm by CBI due to age restrictions on AR-15 STRIPPED lowers. I wasnt permitted to get my part under the pretense that I could build a pistol. Thats like denying an 21 year old his drivers license because he could drive drunk.Anyways, they were really cool about it and they kept in touch and the staff I encountered has been very professional and informative. Just keep in mind that the people who often write reviews are those that are pissed off because something. Youre more likely to hear from an unhappy customer than a customer that had a good experience. I had a great one. They let you look at firearms. They let you break them down. They will show you anything about the gun you ask for. Sure a couple guys dont look friendly but my uncle doesnt look friendly. Deal with it guys. They are men, and its not more than likely that these guys, being that they know guns, might now have a very happy past considering the military as of the past 40 years. Ill give them my business any day.

Three of the four guys working when I went in were exceedingly friendly and helpful with smiles on their face eager to help. They showed let few things and answered all of my questions far beyond expectation. The products I needed worked quite well.However, if I come back to this place in the future and the boy scout looking kid in that goofy uniform is working behind the counter, I will walk out. Not even the old grizzly dudes at bigger or other shops treat you this poorly. Not only does he speak over the his co-workers when he isnt on the conversation, he will go out of his way to speak over you.Some of the worst customer service skills Ive ever seen, treats customers like they are kids, snatches guns out of your hand and makes you feel like your business isnt appreciated.If you come here, steer clear of that little punk, he will ruin your day with his fragile superiority complex. I dont understand why there are complaints on this range. this was my first visit, i came with a friend and her little brother, and we were not ignored, or mistreated in any way. we received service quickly. i and my friends had a great time at a good price. i will definitely be coming back in the future.

My experience at the firing lane is always great, I felt comfortable and welcomed in by the young man that works the range. He is nice and very accommodating to anyone walking in.

Walked in on a Friday afternoon. 5 guys at the front counter. No one greeted me let alone asked me if I was interested in looking....I Was!They had the SIG P 320 I wanted. After 10 minutes I left....with cash in hand to 5280 Armory.Firingline lost a $500 sale last week. Considering the state of the range there....they could use the money.Totally disappointed. Last year I bought a shotgun from them only because the price was good.This is how they treat a return customer.My business goes to 5280 Armory.

Great tips Reguarding giving advice to new comers to shooting. They ask questions and by your answers they narrow it down. I have bought 2 pistols at there store. Very happy. The staff are the tops. Stay away from cabellas. Go to the pros. Firing line.

If youre from out of town and looking to rent a gun to use on there range. Dont bother with this place if you are alone. I was looking to pass some time by going to a shooting range. But you can not rent a gun if you are alone. Ive never run into that before in all my traveling. The guy was nice I know hes probably just following policy.

Its really nice to go there, a lot of people shooting and the people who work there are really nice. The only good and bad thing is that there is not a limit time and sometimes you have to wait for a little bit, but once you are in you are good to go without worrying about the time. The place is nice and the people are very knowledgeful. The manager was kind of a rude but everyone else was awesome. The only other complaint I would have is the bang you on the transfer fee. $36 is STEEP,but I guess I could have bought from them and would have not paid that. (Except they were $70 more than I paid for it)

Good place. It is an older shop and range, but that means they are doing something right. I have seen them on bad days going in, but nothing like I see in other reviews. Worst I can say about them is that they could use some upgrades and refurbishments to the range and shop. Past that, no issues.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wish I could give them 0 stars. Terrible experience here and to be honest I didnt expect anything less. The quality of the firing lanes is abysmal, the ventilation is awful at best, and the staff are VERY rude. My fiance unfortunately had her first time ever firing a gun at this establishment, and after we left Im just hoping she will want to try again. We started off in the wrong area (which we were never instructed where to go, the guy just goes lane 5.) So he proceeds to come in and tell us we are in the wrong area and that we need to move. When this happens my fiance who was handling an EMPTY, UNLOADED weapon was going to turn around and simultaneously set the weapon, the employee reached across me, grabs her forcefully by the hand and rips MY gun out of her hand and states JESUS CHRIST, NEVER POINT A GUN ANYWHERE BESIDES DOWN THE RANGE. First of all, I dont appreciate this boy reaching for my fiances hand forcefully. Second off, when I stated he needed to calm down because the gun was unloaded and without a magazine he exclaimed I DONT CARE. My fiance was pretty upset at this point, but we had already paid and I wanted her to shoot. So we finally get into the RIGHT lane and began shooting and here comes another employee. After my fiance shoots through a few magazines he pulls her aside and addresses her out loud behind my back and says Youre firing a little too fast, so you need to slow it down. She was pausing at least one second between each trigger pull. While this is going on a guy with a .22 LR begins firing rapidly and not a WORD was said to him. I then proceeded to test out their RULES and pretty much performed a rapid fire with my 9 MM. Again, not a word was said to me. I dont know why the employees here are so rude, but needless to say I will NEVER be back here and I advise you spend a little more money and go somewhere else unless you dont mind your fiance being touched and criticized for things others are doing at the same moment.

Ventilation system not very good, you can actually taste the lead and gasses in the air, unlike any other range Ive been to. I was swept several times by people who had no idea what they were doing or how to hold a gun, or from their children who did not have proper instruction from their ignorant parents. No range officer in sight to say anything either. Most surprising to me was no distance markers or lines. What kind of shooting range doesnt have distance markers?? On the other hand the staff have always been helpful and knowledgeable at the counters every time I have been there.

Extensive selection of handguns, rifles, shotguns, suppressors and all the accessories, but everything has a pretty high retail markup. Range is pistol caliber, or rimfire only and is only 45 ft. No rapid-fire, or holster work allowed. Double taps are ok.

I have been here numerous times, dealt with numerous people. I dont know why I try to return. Maybe because it is closest to my house.... I do not like nor appreciate the knowledge contest I encounter here everything. Bottom line, if a customer wants to look (touch, feel, hold) at certain item, assist with that and that alone. There is no item that is perfect for everyone. Dont tell the customer what is better for them. Some of us know what we want and what is best for us. Every shooter is different and unless you have seen them shoot or they ask for your opinion, shut up! It seems like there is always a rep. that wants to have a knowledge contest, irritating! I came here to look at a specific firearm that I knew they had in stock for cheaper than the other guy. However after walking in here ready to buy it, I changed my mind Im going to buy it from the other guy for $75 more on the other side of town. It made me sick that I walked in here to buy my son the specific firearm he wanted for his shooting contests, and I had the representative tell me that it would not be a good fire on for him. My eleven-year-old son has been shooting a 30-30 consistently at 750 yards with a 1 & a half inch grouping. He is a very good shot yet this guy doesnt know that because he has never seen him shoot. He is going to start shooting at a thousand yards and we are looking into a 308 which we have done plenty of research on. Yet this guy wants to show us what he believes would be a better firearm for my son. And wants to tell us about all his competition shooting and how great he is. The customer service here has never changed and I will never return. Looking to buy what will be my first gun. Stopped here and talked to a guy for an hour. He answered all my questions and went above and beyond to try to help me get the best possible gun for me. Havent purchased yet but they are at the top of the list for local shops when I do.

Had to wait an hour then we’re told that my sons weren’t old enough to rent firearms(20 and 18). It was obvious that we didn’t have our own and would’ve been nice to know that when we checked in! I had also called the day prior and told there was no age limit for anything. Very frustrating!!

Friendly staff. Since l like the lanes on both sides of me empty when I shoot I prefer going during the week day if at all possible 10am-2pm after that it tends to pick up. Even when busy I have rarely ever had to wait for a lane at least on the membership side.

Staff has been somewhat rude and inattentive in the past, but it has been much better as of late. So I am changing my review from 2 stars to 4 stars. They have a good price if you need a firearm shipped to an ffl. Range isnt the nicest ever, but its plenty good enough to get in some practice and their prices are fair.

Nice store with good expertise and product selection, and very nice people.Range has no air conditioning, poor air circulation, and bad lighting. Conditions are dingy and run-down. This place COULD be good with some modest investment by the owners. Hopefully they get the message.

Dingy atmosphere, poorly ventilated, demeaning staff, problems with restocking, high priced, are just a few phrases I would use to describe Firing Line. The employees here are extremely rude and ALL have attitude problems. I have visited this location four times now and all four times I felt disrespected and had problems getting service, even though they have tones of people standing around. After visiting their website I noticed that the owners are never up front. I think this explains the attitude problem and lack of effort from the employees. This place has a lot of potential but lack of effort makes this place a horrible experience. If you want customer service, fair prices, and a knowledgeable friendly staff this is not the place for you. If you want a 12$ poorly ventilated range, this place is it.
