The truck was great. The service in Denver was impeccable. However, the passenger seat is like sitting on a wooden high chair. Not comfy for a 3000 mile move. I am still hurting from it.

The Truck Leased to me was a complete ROAD TRAP.I was triple overcharged for a ONE WAY TRIP TRUCK..The truck started running slow, check engine light, DEF fault light, loss of power about 100 miles outside of Denver.Almost as if the Codes were RESET to clear the fault light and they all came back on about the 100mile radius and the truck was sent out needing to be repaired.Broke down in Missouri.Fortunately Towed to Penske and the Shop was open and the part was available.The Mechanics quickly repaired the DEF Pump and I was able to continue.The service in Missouri was AWESOME and Greatly Appreciated.Truck still ran at about 60%performance my entire trip..I spoke with Corporate Penske in New York, a wonderful person FAITH.I was assured that all would be Taken care of when the Truck was returned.True to Her word all was taken care of when I returned the Truck..I am Thankful and Greatful for all the assistance given to me..Penske in Aurora Co.Should be Checked for price gouging and not inspecting or servicing trucks being sent ANY DISTANCE..SAFETY IS KEY!!!!I am Truck Driver By trade..NOBL1
The lady behind the counter was super nice, and patient! The facility was clean and welcoming. A little on the higher end price wise, but the only moving truck company that seemed to be willing to help us out.
Easy process, was a great experience! They even said that when covid wasnt a thing they would drive people back to their home, so thats something to be aware of when covid gets under control!
So, this review isn’t necessarily for this exact location but for the Penske company in general. Easiest pick up from Texas and the truck was all gassed up and he had it running for me to cool off because it was hot out. I was moving my things to Colorado and somewhere in New Mexico the truck started acting up. The check engine light came on and from there we were only going 40 mph on the highway. I still had a 3 hour drive to go to get to my house in Colorado. So I immediately started panicking. I downloaded the Penske app and it was super easy to find my reservation and request to talk to customer service. They called me after a few minutes and asked what was going on and they said they would figure something out and call me right back. In the meantime, we were trying to get the truck to the nearest rest stop while the engine was trying to give up on us. They called me back within 10 minutes and immediately put my worries to rest. The guys name was David and he said, “let’s just get you home and we’ll worry about the rest.” He looked up the town we were headed to for the rest stop and looked up the closest towing company nearby. He said he was going to find out and then call me back. Which he did after a couple of minutes. He found one and said it would be there in the next 30 minutes of us arriving and that they would tow the truck to my house and also asked if we needed a ride. Luckily, I was also driving my vehicle right behind so me and my parents jumped in my car and waited for the tow truck to arrive. The guy arrived within 30 minutes like David had concluded and told us he’d be right behind us. He let us take off while he was hooking up the truck. When we arrived sure enough the tow truck was about an hour behind us and dropped the truck off to wear we could still unpack conveniently into the house. He was super nice about it and didn’t seem inconvenienced at all that he had to just drive miles out to drop off our truck. Only half my things were getting offloaded into my house and the other half was going into storage. So, Penske already knew this ahead of time and I called them back and setup a time the next morning for the truck to get picked up again and moved to the storage unit so that I could offload the rest there. Sure enough, the tow truck was on time at my place and took it to the storage unit and then waited for us to unload and from there took the truck away. I’ve never felt such relief from a stressful situation before. Penske did everything in their power to help me out and I didn’t have to come out of pocket for anything extra (I purchased insurance before hand at the time of reservation which I got a discount on as well) I was so impressed with this company and so blessed and thankful for their help.FYI- the tow truck guy that picked us up in New Mexico had even said Penske was a good company too. He said a similar situation happened but with a different company and had to tow their moving truck but that the truck was still sitting at their towing facility with the peoples belongings in there. And that it had been there for days without any communication from the rental moving company about getting the people their things. Vs Penske helping us out right away.Anyways, I’m so impressed and will continue to share my story about how great the customer service was with Penske and I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Nice employees but disappointing. Snowed, as it does occasionally in Colorado, and it seemed to catch them by surprise. Lot was a total slop fest, no attempt at snow removal except 1/3 of the sidewalk shovelled and then they gave up. They throw you the keys and watch you wade into the lot at your own peril. Bring the truck around? Lucky if they point to it. They stayed nice and toasty, practically physically attached to the desk. Three guys, you can tell the newest employee as they send a young lady out to fend for herself when one of them absolutely had to step out. She was a trooper, but the guys that watched are pretty lame. Try a little harder to hide your mirth that you could send someone else, all three of you to attend to one phone is overkill. Hope she makes management and replaces you all with people that share tasks or at least tries, not just smile and hide in the back while one person handles everything in the snow. Yes, people notice.
Id give zero if possible. Our company sleeper team fleet uses Penske, we broke down and got a tractor towed to us from this dealer. The tractor was disgusting literally had to scrub everything down multiple times. Took my partner and I 2hrs to get the tractor respectable. The mattress was ripped and stained, the tractor has a front end knock and shimmy, the climate control is going on and off by itself and the cruise only stayed set for a minute or two. Not the first time I received a sub unit in terrible condition. Penske needs to adopt a standard or practice in cleaning and maintaining there tractors especially during a pandemic.

Flew in town to find out our confirmed reservation for a truck was not in. Our then next reservation that they tracked down was nonexistent. The male helping us could careless that we flew in, he told someone “can you finish this up, it’s my time to leave for the day”. Do not rent from this place. You’ll spend time and money to find out you’ll be stuck without a truck. Horrible customer service experience. They did not even try to help us or offer other places to track down trucks. Never again will we support this business.
My experience was great. In and it quickly. Ryan was more than helpful and nicer than I could have asked for. Cheaper than Uhaul as well.
Took the rental truck to the shop 1st call on the phone to set up a time to bring the truck 🚚 in was good but after arriving the attitudes went south (the right hand didnt know what the left hand was doing)theres no restrooms no drivers lounge no convenience

The crew at Aurora Penske were AWESOME! I came in with a flat, they were able to get me in and out in under 30 minutes. Not only that, the tech that performed the tire change took it upon himself to do visual inspection of the disc breaks and found 1 on my break pads was cracked. This attention to detail and to do the little extra without being asked.... Thats why I lease Penske! Thanks!!

They layed off the feulers. Its a circus here now. Go anywhere else but 32nd. Incompetently managed for a long time and this recent decision proves why.
The fuelers are great, the mechanics are stretched thin. There are less than half the techs needed to be efficient. Every time we leave a truck there for service it either takes longer than promised or expected or all the repairs are not made. Things are over looked during PMs... Big things. Id rather go to the one off of Havana. Seems it is managed much better over there.

Quick service had us on road in no time at all. Unfortunately we did not find out until too late but we had two minor safety issues with the truck. The driver side wiper blade was torn and not working well which we found out in a heavy rain storm and the passenger side headlight also was not working.
Okay lets get this straight you have to rate for your review currently Im giving you a -3 Stars just as you see it is not my rating its just used to activate the review. This is about the 5th time I had to use your service two were good 3 not so good the first not so good one was in Fort Collins where I had to wait 10 hours for a leveling rod an air leveling rod that was only 1 hour away thats from Fort Collins Colorado to Aurora Colorado even in the worst traffic it takes a semi truck one and a half hours so 10 hours waiting for a part on top of that the mechanic was rude and obnoxious and threatened to never associate with Penske now 10 hours out of my day I have to shut down and wait that cost me money big time also the current call that I am on a flat tire my call went in at about 10 minutes after 10am upon discovering that I had a flat tire thats Central Time it is now 11:40 it is almost a two hour wait for a tire that is coming out of Commerce City Colorado to Aurora Colorado that is 16 miles away I am now wondering how you stay in Business.

I called yesterday to reserve a 26 truck and was told they have one available, and someone would get a hold of me shortly to get a quote. Nobody ever called, so today I call back and I am told all the 26 trucks are already reserved. I need a truck tomorrow for an emergency move that has to be complete by tomorrow.Dont rely on their word. You dont have a truck until you have a reservation in writing.

Paid 1500 to rent a 12 ft box truck for 36 hours. Didnt want six day rental they made me. Then when you bring it back early they dont gi e you anything back even though they can rent it out for 4 more days and make double? This is a joke. Ive rented here one way for 3 days put the same amount of miles on and had it be 250. Guess Penske has no commitment to common sense. Be very careful with these guys or go to someone else - they will rip you off and not even be sorry about it.Update: Called the number as instructed and its just a call center and they were unable and unwilling to do anything or address the situation.
I went with Penske over U Haul (even though they were more expensive) because they “guaranteed” that the truck would be there. I called the morning of my pickup to verify the truck was there which they told meIt was. I went to pick it up at the pickup time in Centennial, Co and the truck wasn’t there. The guys working at the Smoky Hill location had no information me other than “Penske sucks.” I finally got corporate on the phone and after waiting on hold for 40 min, they sent me to another location 30 min away. I then had to wait at the new location for over an hour as they try to track down my truck that was double verified was at the new location. We still do not have a truck. This has been a mess and I really wish I would have just used U Haul.**updateWe are now getting sent to another location 45 min away after a two hour wait At the second location. We have been trying to pickup our truck since 9:30am and had many friends and family at our house to help move who have since had to go home.

They saved my hind end when Budget Truck told me they didnt have a truck for me after I made a reservation AND called the pick up places & they said they had it waiting for me. I went next door to Penske & Connor worked like crazy & got me a truck. We have to move in 2 days
THE ABSOLUTE worse customer service I have ever dealt with, on hold for more than 20 minutes one call, THEN they left their corporate CS on hold for another 15 minutes. Discourteous, rude and just all around the last place you should EVER rent from. Penske has lost a loyal customer over this one, and I guarantee they will lose more, from the social media post I just made as well.
No real signs saying where to drop off truck when you first pull in. Staff was super nice and helpful. Apparently drive around the building, turning left, keep going, around the building again next to a fuel pump.
Call to get prices on their trucks. Was told for the 26 foot or with the liftgate it would cost me about $100. Call back a couple days later to reserve the truck. And they said no the one with the liftgate is going to be $170. They need to learn how to stick to their pricing. My advice go elsewhere.

Bad customer service, reserved a truck and on day of pick up was told that it was no longer available. Had they called and notified me prior I could have made other arrangements, but I guess thats too much to ask for from this company.
Penske refuses to maintain their trucks. Wait times for parts are generally excessive. They close early without warning. In general, go somewhere else, anywhere else
