The coffee is good... but my veggie croissant sandwich was even better! The vibe here is very relaxed. It’s a nice place to catch up with a friend or get some work done. The building is easy to miss from the outside but beautiful on the inside.... Light and airy decor. A book exchange wall. Local art on the walls (including works by Eya Claire who I’m a huge fan of). Check it out!
One of our coworkers got us breakfast tacos and pastries to have for one of our meetings and everything was good!I only got a picture of the spinach mushroom cheese and egg breakfast taco, since everything got taken super fast. The chocolate chip scone was very good and I had not seen one so big! It was nice and chocolately, crumbly and compact as a scone should be and not overly sweet. It sure was tasty and went well with coffee.
Good place to work. Lots of seating, and music selection is conducive to focus. There are also benefits like a printing service and bookable conference rooms. Theres also a book exchange.I like to get the pastries and sandwiches here. Great to come in the morning, get lunch, then keep reading/working in the afternoon.
So I really wanted to like this place...great location, cool set up. We were looking for a local spot for good pastries and coffee. I liked the shop, very fun feel. The breakfast tacos were great! Really enjoyed those. But thats about where it stops for me unfortunately. The staff seemed really engaging with their regulars but barely had time to say anything to us. They forgot to bring my Danish and then told me it was still warming up... it was cold when I got it and tasted like it was a day or two old, the croissant wasnt flaky, but more tough and mushy. Good flavor overall but lackluster. Maybe next time Im out will give it another go because all the other reviews really had me excited.
The coffee the barista made was perfect! I asked for something not too sweet and she was able to help me find the perfect drink and customize it to me. The shop is super cute and has rest adorable jewelry from local dealers as well. Definitely coming back
So good we came back the next day! Excellent coffee and tasty breakfast tacos, just what we wanted!
Super friendly, super cool spot. Great outdoor seating where we enjoyed our coffee and pastry.
A lovely coffee shop with delicious foods and coffees. The atmosphere is also pleasant and rich with artwork. They even have a book exchange corner!
My favorite place to get an Iced Mocha in town. Very good coffee and great bagel sandwiches. Cleanliness seems to be a minor issue whenever I am in there but very small complaint.
Super cute and comfy Coffee House. They have a few kolaches and pastries available for sale along with a few other items that are on the board. The coffee and hot chocolate we ordered were outstanding! The staff immediately greeted this as soon as we walked in and were great at following up to make sure we were doing okay. The artwork that they had up on the walls was fascinating! Take a moment to check some of it out if you stop in.Located on the south side of Austin, this is a great stop thats off the beaten path.
Really cute place. We ordered 3 different crepes, two were great and one was okay. Their mimosas are mediocre
Great dirty chai and breakfast tacos. This place has 5G wifi, great place to hang out with your laptop. This shop very much advocates for the local community and its apparent when you look around. Love this place ❤
I love this super cute small business in my neighborhood. Nova Scotia crepes are awesome, cheap mimosas, open, airy place to have a chill counter service brunch/lunch.
Your iced matcha is something ! I have never been inside, but was ordering through UberEATS to try . And only what I can say - ABOVE THE EARTH. Food is delicious . Im Russian and we have this type of pancakes lol . And you guys make it perfect. Soft, light, delightful. Flavor is on top . Especially with smoked salmon . Wow ! I would put 10 starts if I could. Amazing spot to have a great, full breakfast .
I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this café yet! I visit about once a week. The quality is consistent, service is casual and attentive, and my partner and I are convinced they have the best espresso in town. They specialize in crepes, which are delicious, but don’t underestimate breakfast tacos! Or the croissant sandwich. Gosh, at this point I think I’ve eaten everything on the menu... you really can’t go wrong.
Didn’t get to try it. I’ve I Had my eye on this place for a couple of days and really wanted to try it. I pass by at 6:45am to go to school later so I waited until seven for it to open and then once it was 7 AM I had to knock on the door and the guy working just looked at me looked away and didn’t acknowledge me. He didn’t open the door or say anything so I just left after a couple minutes because I can already tell that I would have gotten bad service
Very good customer service. I ordered through DoorDash and my order was slightly off which happened to be a DoorDash problem and not there fault and they were kind enough to let me get another sandwich. Very Good Food and Coffee!
Cafe Creme has really good breakfast tacos and coffee. Ill definitely be back.
We got there at 8:04am. 4 minutes after they opened. The gentleman behind the counter was super nice and wasnt upset that we showed up right when they opened. I ordered a mocha frappe which was delicious and we ordered two crepes. We sat down and the coffee was brought to us promptly.About 40 minutes had passed and no crepe. I went to check on them and the gentleman was surprised that we didnt receive them yet. Turns out the printer got disconnected... Not their fault. The lady from the kitchen came out and apologized to us again and asked if we want anything else.. We asked if we could have a chocolate croissant. They brought us TWO chocolate croissants and fresh squeezed lemonade that we didnt even ask for. So kind of them! Our crepes arrived shortly after that and was delicious.I would recommend this place to everyone and be back. Food was good and the service was very good as well.:)
I like this place. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food. Their breakfast bowls are a little small but their Crêpes are massive.
It is a very welcoming place, where you can spend time admiring the paintings of emerging artists, reading a book or using your laptop.the coffee and milk is delicious and even the dishes I tasted are excellent!the menu has a wide selection of sweet and savory items and there is a showcase with croissants and panini with wurstel (I do not remember the exact name).the prices are equivalent to the quality of the product.a place to go often to!
Cannot recommend Café Crème enough. Delicious fresh cooked food, wonderful drinks, and a relaxing, cool atmosphere. Went here once months ago and it quickly became a weekly haunt.
Came up to Austin to go shopping and stopped by for breakfast...SO GOOD! The iced latte was better than any coffee chain and the service was amazing :) 10/10 recommend, not to mention its affordable
Their Savory Crepes are fantastic.Their coffee and tea is also great too.Did I mention their crepes?
Mexican mocha and a breakfast taco are my go to.
Had the strawberry shake and it was absolutely delicious 😋
Had breakfast on the patio with the family and the pups. The breakfast tacos were delicious.
Great breakfast tacos, pastries, and coffee!
First time coming, and suck great service! Loved my vanilla bean frappe and breakfast bowl!
Oh, i think i have found my new home away from home. Popped in between a few mobile notary appointments in the area. So yummy! Asked for the most popular crepe, it did not disappoint... i be back and often.
This is my favorite place to get coffee in Austin! Their creme brûlée frappe is amazing. Definitely recommend!
I had the crepe Versailles and macarons. The crepe was perfectly savory and well balanced of ingredients. I tried the pistachio, raspberry, and lemon macarons. The lemon was my fave. They were softer than macarons I’ve had before but I really liked the texture.I only popped into the restaurant to pick up, but the vibe was cute! I love the little Knick knacks for sale. I’ll definitely have to dine in soon.
One of the best places in Austin, food, ambiance, quiet and excellent service
Love love love this place cute, quiet, caml music, supper friendly offer vegan options like chocolate muffin, coffe, and vegan breakfast tacos the greensalsa slaps hard afff
Great cold brew. I just moved to the area and I like to grab one and sit outside to rest after my morning walk. Nice place, friendly staff.
Great place right by my apartments! Great pastries, too
Cute little coffee shop with a book exchange and awesome artwork! I ordered the crepe madame which was a bit cold, cheese wasn’t melted and it was deli Black Forest ham not what was I expecting. I will go back for the mimosas!
Vegan muffin, and good cold brew
This is our local coffee shop and while its pretty good, its a bummer that the staff is never personable and have the attitude that they dont want to be there. Almost always we have to say hi to the staff first.
I cant believe I just now found this place! The selection of coffees are unique and authentic. I didnt get a chance to try the crepes but would love to come back any try. I like my coffee sweet and milky, so I got the cafe creme brûlée and it was delicious! I could taste the buttery sugar glaze in the coffee. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. I love how its a quiet but comfortable indoor atmosphere, even though right now they are offering indoor seating due to covid. I highly recommend and look forward to coming back!
Great breakfast, fast service and wonderful cappuccino.
Good cup of coffee. Accommodating when I just wanted to fade into the background and hide out for a couple of hours.
Best latte and crepe Ive had so far. My go to place in Houston is CoCo Crepes, but this place is my new spot... Although Im not from Austin... I will be sure to stop here every visit I can make 💕 I had the Nottingham crepe and a cafe latte with vanilla... I love the bookshelf idea and the music playing was so relaxing. The staff is super nice and friendly. Parking wasnt so bad and the place was clean. Not so upscale but its very comfy.
Dirty chai gets you going!
Delicious crepes. Fantastic croissant bacon egg and cheese. 👍🏼
Best coffee shop in Austin! Their lattes (hot or iced) are such a treat.
Manager is very rude! Called in a curbside order and she said well you can just come inside. Why would you offer curbside if the customer will have to come in to pick up order.
First time here and won’t be the last! So much variety in food. I had the lox bagel and it was absolutely amazing (and I’m not a huge fan of them normally). Service is very quick
Delicious coffee, grate service
My favorite cafe in South Austin! Everything about it is great...the coffee, the the food, and the atmosphere are just perfect.
They have wonderful lox bagels and put an amazing amount of salmon on them. One bagel was enough for a light breakfast for my girlfriend and I. Definitely adding this to a list of my favorites. Also, they were all wearing masks, which is very much appreciated.
Firstly, I love their coffee. Always awesome. Secondly, I got a taco from here this morning (9/11) and it was absolutely fire. I have too much anxiety to call and say that to a real person, but thats what the internet is for. Whoever was cooking today is IT. 10/10
I ordered the cubano because a cafe in my town does an amazing cubano breve, and when I asked for this one as a breve I was told it was just a shot pulled with sugar, not a latte. Im not a black coffee/straight espresso person--too bitter--but for whatever reason I decided to try it anyway. It was delicious. Creamy and smooth and fruity, not too dark, with just enough sweetness. Also got a cafe gua nong which was lovely. Really enjoyed this place and looking forward to trying their food on another visit.
The food is always amazing! Best crepes in town. Cozy! Cute! Local art on the walls! What more can you ask for?
Only negative thing is that they have short hours
My favorite matcha hands down. 💚
Always go to for breakfast when Im in a rush
Great spot! Quality food ingredients & delicious coffee. Great ambiance with a rotation of local artists pieces on display and lots of natural light. I only wish theyd get better outdoor tables. Their lox is awesome!
Their lox bagel is so amazing! The Nutella and banana one is great too, but nothing holds a candle to the lox!!
I really love the crepes and croissant sandwiches at this place, but had the most disappointing takeout experience. The crepe Nottingham that I ordered was given without any toppings although I had paid more for extra ingredients to be added. Real bummer.
As a long time patron of cafe creme, I am saddened by the owners lack of commitment to covid guidelines. There is a sign on the door that says mask required yet there are people strewn about the cafe not wearing masks. If you are like me and feel it is necessary for business to lead from the front and actually follow through with safety guidelines then take your business elsewhere.
Ordered a couple of tacos, a latte and a frappe. Order was prepared perfectly and the food was AWESOME. It was well seasoned and the corn tortillas were so fresh. I was kind of sad when the meal was done...Anyhow, Sue, thank you for being awesome and for making sure our Sunday breakfast was great.
The coffee and crepes are delicious. Lunch today was an iced Mexican mocha and potato egg and cheese crepe!
Your search is over because you have found the best cafe in town. The food is incredible and the people who run the place are wonderful. Also, try one of the Vietnamese iced coffees for a refreshing start to the day. The crepes are of the highest quality and have a delicious selection- my favorite being the Bordeaux. Thank me later.2021 Update:Pecan Cold Brew is 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
My neighborhood coffee stop! I love the quirky decor and super friendly staff. Time seems to pass by so fast when I work from this spot. They even have a printer that you can use (inexpensive) in case you need something printed. Food is super tasty too!
I have lived in the neighborhood for over 2 years and just discovered this gem
Great coffee and solid breakfast options. Their online ordering is super easy and my orders have always been ready on time.
Just had a contactless order here.... we had 5 different breakfast... each one was very good... nice easy pick up, cant really comment about the inside as we are in lockdown still... maybe next time we are in town we will eat in.From the limited experience I would certainly recommend this Cafe.
Top tier crepes 🤙
Hadnt been here in a few years which is such a shame considering this cafe is downright cool. Small, hidden away and cozy. A gem for Oltorf which lacks in options and flavors outside of Mexican food and Fast Food.
Great atmosphere. makes you feel right at home. I had the vegan tacos and they were delicious. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices.
Very friendly, great coffee and espresso, and very delicious food. Its also very clean with plenty of cozy seating. They even have a give and take book section and rooms you can rent out.
I have been here a few years ago and left with a bad taste in the mouth. The review then reflected it. The owner encouraged me to give it one more try and sent me a gift card.It took me 3 years (i think) to be here again and my experience has been nothing but great. Right from the moment i entered both the hosts greeted me promptly. I felt welcome immediately.Andy took my order and helped me with his opinion. He even asked me about the allergies today..apparently it was so obvious on my face.I had Bordeaux crepe and a latte. Loved the crepe because it was good combination of ingredients and sweetness. Dont like very sweet crepes. Latte was good.To the owner: That gift card was a good idea and probably decent investment. Without that i wouldnt have come here again.
