We used Cupprimo for our intimate wedding dinner. Amy was amazing to work with and accommodated all our our crazy needs! Everything looked gorgeous and tasted delicious. We couldnt resist saving the top, and ate it for breakfast the next day! I could not recommend them enough!

This bakery has, by far, the best gluten free cupcakes Ive ever eaten. The red velvet and blue velvet are my favorite. The frosting is unbelievably delicious and the cupcakes are very professional looking and attractive- great for a party or event. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. They didnt have one of the daily flavors out, so they said give us just a sec while we make you one. Not to mention they have some very good coffee choices. I’ve loved Cupprimo for years. I’ve done multiple custom orders and they never disappoint! Their Blue Velvet cupcake is my absolute favorite but I have yet to try a flavor that isn’t delicious. I ran in last weekend to pick up 2 dozen of their mini cupcakes and when I picked up my order they threw an extra dozen minis in! It was such an awesome surprise and one more reason I will continue supporting Cupprimo!

Disappointed. Been coming here for years and I guess they have new ownership because the cupcakes are MUCH smaller and dry. They don’t taste anywhere near as good! Not worth $4 plus tip for 3 bites of a dry cupcake. I won’t be coming back, it’s just not the same. Bummed out

Cupprimo is easily one of my favorite bakeries in Austin, their cupcakes are absolutely delicious - every flavor combination weve tried has been fantastic and Im in love with the texture of their cake. Their coffee is also great, as is their breakfast quiche; honestly everything Ive had here is great, cannot recommend them enough.

Came to the shop on a Sunday afternoon 5 minutes after they had closed. They must have seen how disappointed I looked going back to the car once I realized they werent open, because they rushed out and told me theyd hook me up even though theyd just closed. Came here after 2yrs for a birthday celebration. They have expanded with a lovely sitting area! The previous owners have taken back over with excellent menus and customer service. The cupcakes were just as delicious as I remembered, also they had cupcake toppers and a ring for my daughters birthday!

The vegan cupcakes (they arent officially on the menu but Cupprimo is the best --- they made my Saturday by making these cupcakes for me!) are probably the best Ive ever had. Moist, fluffy, light-to-medium sweet base, and amazingly sweet, textured (with occasional sugar granules) icing! Whats not to love?Its amazing to have a coffee shop in the neighborhood. Glad they expanded their seating area.

Their buttercream icing is soooo good! They have lots of great flavors, some regular, some seasonal. Love that you can get mini cupcakes. Great way to solve a sweet tooth attack! Also have gluten free, which I dont care about but if thats what you need then theyve got it.

I LOVE CUPPRIMO!!! They have delicious coffee and amazing cupcakes AND amazing breakfast quiche. I think I’m up to 16 flavors and I am always impressed with how moist they are and how much flavor they pack into such a tiny piece heaven. This is by far my go-to place for a morning pick-me-up!

I’ve been visiting this place for a few months and the cupcakes are consistently outstanding. We’ve tried a lot of different flavors and am never disappointed, the creativity and care is remarkable. They frequently rotate seasonal flavors and have amazing boozy cupcakes on Fridays. Additionally, the staff here are incredible and always super friendly and the presentation is always beautiful. I would specifically recommend the blue velvet!

Im totally addicted to Cupprimo. I used to only go occasionally the past few years, but since leasing Suite 103 two doors down, now I am there multiple times a week before I teach. The coffee is great (Peppermint Bark Mocha is my favorite) and the cupcakes are to die for. Tuesday they have my weakness, Girl Scout Thin Mint, which thankfully on teaching days I generally burn 1,000 calories plus so I usually get one each week now. Such great staff and the owner is fantastic as well. Also I love their gender neutral bathroom signs so much that I copied and have the same sign in my dojo on our single bathroom. Dont forget to sign up for their rewards program to earn freebies!

Been here several times, over a 3-4 year span. Their cupcakes are good and they have unique flavors. However, most if the time, they are dry. Their frosting is way way way too sweet, all you taste is sugar so I have gotten to where I just scrape it off. It would be awesome if they would focus more on flavors than over doing it with sugar. Lastly, I just ordered two dozen mini cupcakes and they said they have no box to put them in, just a clear plastic container like HEB. Disappointed in the cupcakes.Their coffee drinks are really good!

Exceptionally friendly staff and delicious cupcakes

Popped in one morning for a quick cup of coffee. The smell of cupcakes baking hit me when I first walked in the door, and immediately my stomach started grumbling. I heard the hilarious attendant ask the customer in front of me if they wanted a slice of quiche and my ears perked. For $3.50 I got a HUGE slice of quiche that was packed with veggies and meat. It was amazing!! So for cheaper than a Starbucks visit, I supported local, got great coffee, and a fabulous Texas size slice of quiche. This is my new coffee shop. Im sure there cupcakes are just as fantastic but that is for another visit.

We just love this place!!! Its local and tasty! They make cupcakes of many varieties, great flavors, pretty, and not too much junk on top. They are not a dry cake on the bottom, but moist and dense, just the way my husband and I had our wedding cake made, key lime. So we ordered two key lime ones and we got one free. We went later at night, so I think they were clearing then out for the night. (That may be a Hine if you need a few. 😊)We only have one left because we will split one at a time, and thats enough as they are rich in flavor.

This has been the best experience that Ive had at a bakery since Ive moved to Austin over a year ago. I walked in with a last minute order for 2 dozen minis and they were able to accommodate me. I also asked about a flavor that was not on the menu, to find something comparable, but they made the flavor i was asking for with no hesitation! The service was super fast, i was in and out within 20 minutes for a last minute order. I would definitely recommend. Nicest staff ever!!

Had a delicious flat white there, and the person working (not sure her name) was very friendly and helpful. They sell bags of Barretts coffee (another local coffee joint) there as well. Next time I stop Ill be sure to try some cupcakes, they had a nice selection.Edit: yeah, their cupcakes are outstanding, as I imagined. So delicious.

I love this place! The baristas are always so nice and Ive never had a bad drink from here. I dont buy their cupcakes too often, but I really like the chocolate flavor.

Hailey is such a sweet employee, always fun to chat with while I pick out my cupcakes. The minis are my favorite because then you get a few bites of each flavor. Strawberry is the bomb! If you have never had Cupprimo cupcakes, are you evening living? We frequently order the mini cupcakes for office events. I recently ordered 2 dozen for a personal event, and the cupcakes are consistantly amazing. The staff are kind & easy to work with. AND their gluten-free cupcakes are incredible. You wouldnt even know the gluten is missing. I strongly recommend you try Cupprimo over & over again!

Super friendly staff, and the place is clean. These are where I start all my reasons for reviewing a place. Great over coffee/ espresso drinks and yummy quiche. They have cupcakes, so great for kids too.

3-4 Gluten-free flavors daily, but they come out of the oven after the non-gluten-free ones, so dont expect them to be ready before 9 am.

Looking for a good cupcake for my daughters birthday, Austin is a great place with many choices! Let me start by saying this review is not about taste, but about presentation, business practices (communication), management (ownership) and customer service.You will see our first interaction in the pictures uploaded, as well as picture sent as reference to duplicate, finished product, and receipt. We ordered two dozen in advance, and planned to pick out 6 from the case.Issue 1- Overcharged. We were told in the email that the medium size dozen would be $26. we ordered 2 doz. $52. We then purchased 1/2 dozen from the case at $16.50. New subtotal by my math $68.50. Add an additional Gluten Free for $3 more. $71.50... Well, I was charged by the Owner, Amy B. $77.40. Unfortunately, at the time of purchase, I was not presented a breakdown or an order review, nor a presentation of the finished product prior to paying. It seemed the owner was a little frazzled, maybe had a little too much coffee, had been there early making her creations, and seemed too busy to slow down and speak directly to me. Now, admittedly, due to their reputation, and quantity of orders, I assumed Saturdays were stressful, so no real red flags yet.Issue 2- The 2 dozen cupcakes do not match the design color, or vibrancy, nor sprinkles on the cupcake the were to replicate. Now, being reasonable, after her asking her kids (early teen (?) girls hanging out in the store of which she said to follow him wherever he goes, well, within reason... I was feeling a little less than comfortable with the awkwardness of the comment, but hey, I get it, lots of weirdos out there.) to take the cupcakes to our vehicle, it was at the rear of the vehicle that I got a chance to see the cupcake, and my initial reaction was not pleased. But, instead of reacting, I asked my girlfriend who helped me order the cupcakes to come back and look. Immediately her reaction was Those arent pretty! that is not what we ordered! So, I knew my daughter had no idea what we had sent, and was going to take them anyway, but I went back in to speak with the Owner. I hoped she would at least be cordial, maybe offer a discount on a future order, add some sprinkles, something.Quite the contrary. She first gave me a disgusted look during my explanation that no matter what, I was going to take them, the party is less than an hour away, but I was not real happy with the results. She stated they look the same. I said Really?! You think these look the same?! She said Yep! And again I asked Really?! You really think these look the same? She again confirmed. Due to the time, i had to leave, but, assured her we would let the internet decide if they are the Same...So I ask, if you paid $77.40 for 30 cupcakes, and sent a design for 24 of them, that was an agreed to order prior, would you be happy?Issue 3- Now all of this would seem fine if we had placed a last minute order, however, we sent the pics over early, and even went to the shop the Thursday before the party to taste the cupcakes they made, as well as confirm the order. There record keeping left something to be desired.The girl working informed us the owner had Doctor handwriting and please be patient, there are a lot of orders. She proceeded to go through a stack of multi colored pieces of paper until she found our order. No picture attached, barely legible See Amy for Icing instructions that we had to help the girl decipher. We asked if there was a picture. She assured us it would be fine. Obviously, in our opinion, it was not. In hers it was spot on. You be your own judge, but if presentation is important, definitely confirm they can do the job, and confirm what will happen if you are not satisfied. Her attitude was basically to pound sand.Conclusion- My gut is she is too busy, or just doesnt care. I have read her replies to other Yelp reviews, and if you do not agree with her, she will let you know to enjoy your search. Well, service is more important to me than price, so I will go elsewhere. Too easy in Austin

Very good cupcakes. A little pricey but they are gourmet. They were a huge hit at work. But I have to say, the tres leches cupcakes didnt really taste like tres leches. Still really good though. Everyone was asking where I got them. Lol

The lady working there yesterday morning — I forgot her name — was super helpful and friendly. Caught every customer as they came in the door and started a conversation with folks while they were waiting in line. Knew every order before the person got to the counter.I have Celiac disease so she double-checked the syrup that went into my coffee. I also ordered one of each of the four flavors of gluten free cupcake they had that day. They had four each of four gluten free (GF) flavors, each for four dollars. Shared them with my family and got to try all four. They were great! Its not close to me, but Ill definitely be going back anyway.

Not just a fantastic gluten free cupcakes but excellent cupcakes. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a terrific treat! They also had some good looking coffee selections. I will have to try some next time.
