Fun teas that you can order in a light bulb glass you take with you. Wasn’t my favorite tea ever, but I would go again. I had the passion fruit refresher. The butterfly tea is pretty cool and allows them to get the awesome blue/purple color in the drinks.

When it first opened, I had no idea that it was a shaved ice place. But when I heard that it was comparable to Snow Monster, I had to try it out. When I went in and got my order, I was so disappointed... that I did not come here sooner!! The snow ice was amazing! The service was great! Everyone was so friendly! The toppings were extraordinary!! Everything you would want and could dream of at a shaved iced place! I recommend this place to everyone!! I go here at least once or twice every week now. Cant get enough of it! I got the mango snow ice with tapioca boba and egg pudding on the side! Try that out for starters!

This is the best shaved ice place I have ever tried in Austin. I used to drink a lot of milk tea but now shaved ice replaced milk tea. My roommates and I all love this place!

Very polite staff. Super polite and lots of Asian treats. The actual boba pearls are sweet and their Thai tea shaved ice is confusingly delicious. It looks dry but melts into my favorite drink.

The tapioca is exquisite and the jasmine milk tea in particular is amazing. I really love the service, and the prices are fair as well. The quantities are very worth the price point, and I would bring my friends! They have great promotional events as well.

Friendly staff, and delicious shaved ice with a lot of available flavors and topping. Id recommend getting the waffle bowl if you can, it adds more to the experience.

Their snow ice is AMAZING! I got the mango tango and it was out of this world. Mango 8 has lots of adorably and tasty topping options as well, including star shaped mango jellies! They give HUGE portions of snow ice, perfect for two to three people. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the Austin area for sure, especially if you haven’t had Asian snow ice before. It’s definitely superior to any other icy summer treat.

Bubble tea is one of my favorite weekend stops! I have enjoyed tea from the west coast to here, in the south and Mango 8 has the best variety of teas and have fun and eccentric cups and containers. Seriously the best!!

Very cute drink shop! Drinks tasted really good too. Boba was the exact way I like it- super chewy! Parking is available from the surrounding area, or it’s a nice short walk. Free WiFi and great staff. I’m so sad I’m only visiting otherwise I would be a regular :(

Very different and very fun. The atmosphere is fun and the snow ice is an experience of its own. Their milk teas are also very tasty. Prices are decent. The only issues Ive had with this place is the wait. I showed up once and was third in line. It took me 18 minutes to get to the front. Its frozen desert and tea for Petes sake.

This place is alright. It’s cute and simple for bubble tea. I only got the lychee smoothie but it was nice and I liked the texture. The tables and chairs are comfortable. They don’t have games here though but that doesn’t affect my rating.

Amazing place everything is delicious. Prices and portions. Id like to get more for less (welcome to America), but the prices and portions are not bad unless something changes they are easily 5 star. Except for the crazies that rate them low because prices change or just because. At least go once to try it out. Small interior good for small gatherings, quick study session, or a little life break.

Great! The girls were so nice and accommodating. Milk used in drinks here is tolerable for the lactose intolerant. Has a parking lot. Has tables you can sit down at inside. Affordable. My order tasted good

Im going to say this is the best place in Austin to get boba tea. That is saying something because there are a lot of places in Austin to get tea. The butterfly tea is the best in my opinion also the Longhorn is tasty. The service is friendly and the ingredients are good. I went back twice in one weekend and the location isnt exactly easy to get to by car. They do have a tiny parking lot but during a UT game weekend, forget about it! The hassle with parking and people is worth it.

Never had shaved milk before, it was pretty awesome and my 12 year old loved it. A little hipster in the making. :)

I was given wonderful customer experience. I purchased a drink and after making the purchase I saw something else on the menu that I was interested in. After they gave me my purchase I drunk about 1/4 of it and asked if it was possible to exchange them and they happily did. Would definitely recommend

This is a convenient location close to campus, but thats about it. I ordered a butterfly lemonade and the panda shaved ice and wasnt wowed. The butterfly lemonade was average, and the panda ice was not very flavorful. The prices were also more expensive than I normally pay for tea drinks or bubble tea. I recommend going elsewhere for your fix.

Honestly, I was sad when Momokos closed down, but this is the best store that could have possibly replaced it. Its always kept super clean, the tea is always top notch, and their ices? Big enough for two or three people to EASILY share, and theyre so good.Also, cereal in snow ice? Best idea ever. Dont knock it til you try it.

Very good ice mountains. Basically its shaved ice/cream with flavoring. It has a very light texture. Quite yummy. Pretty on par tapioca milk teas for the area: yummy.

I loved coming here because of how similar their desserts are to authentic Taiwanese shaved ice. While I was in Taiwan this past summer my friends and I would order shaved ice very frequently. Trying Mango8 left me surprised how close to authentic it tasted. We got mango with tapioca and mochi but there are so many more other flavors and toppings. Next on my list of orders to try is their Panda ice which looks like a panda.

Its a nice little shop. We drove there from Killeen. My kids love the drinks. Good timing when we arrive, it was b4 closing, found parking, its hard to find pkg at times because its such a small place.

Both my times visiting Mango8 has not been disappointing and they have nice flavors such as the Jasmine milk tea and interesting toppings. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is chill. I recommend coming here.

Mang8 is absolutely fantastic! The new store is so clean, the staff is nice and attentive and of course the selection is to die for! I had the strawberry snow ice and not only do you get a mountain of delicious, creamy dessert, its pretty and light. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area (or drop in even if its out of the way!) to support their great business.

Excellent milk tea, made with real tea leaves and not powder. They have a great variety of toppings as well for their drinks, but most impressively, their snow ice is incredibly authentic and a great replication of the Taiwan dessert. Service is also very personal, so you arent just a customer to these people. Highly recommended if youre ever around UT Campus, and its location is super convenient

I had the Jasmine Green Milk Tea with Topioca, 30% sugar, and without ice. It tastes quite authentic and free of any artificial flavor, which is a big plus. Very friendly staffs here who give you recommendation, customize your order, and follow up for your feedback. Young and cheerful atmosphere, and a bunch of promotions to take advantage of. Deserve a solid 5-Star!

I love bubble tea in general, but last time I went the butterfly lemonade tasted off. It did not have a gradient which would’ve been fine if it didn’t taste kinda like the boba was burnt?

The shaved ice is really sweet. I saw the guy pour all kinds of syrup on it for awhile. I think its comparable to snow monster but just sweeter. I got sick from the Thai tea boba drink so I wont be getting that.. its not a group gathering friendly because its small but nice for meet up with a friend.

Not that great at all. The snow ice cream doesn’t have any flavor at all and I got the matcha flavor and tried my boyfriends flavor which was the creamy milk and couldn’t taste any flavor. I also got the Taro bubble tea and it is nothing like how I got my bubble teas back home. I won’t recommend this place to anyone I know who is visiting the city. I couldn’t even finish my drink or ice cream and I love my desserts.

I go here almost every other day and get a smoothie with tapioca and the total has ALWAYS been $4.88. I went in today and ordered the same thing I get every time and the total was $5.15. I explained to them that it was never that price and they had no explanation. The cashier looked like I was talking gibberish or something. I am a loyal customer and have filled 2 punch cards.Needless to say I will not be going back due to the inexplicable price difference. Its not about the change in price that Im upset about. Im upset because they didnt try to explain why it was more than usual. They shouldve tried to do everything they can to save and satisfy a customer.Hope no one else experiences this.

I had the personal lychee snow ice. It was delicious. The snow ice was really soft and really flavorful. They are incredibly generous with how much Boba you get, in the ice and in the milk tea. The milk tea is inexpensive for its quality - they also offer Assam black tea, giving it a unique flavor. Friendly staff and large serving sizes. Take a date or friends cause its difficult to even finish the personal size. Open late too. Definitely recommend.

Theres usually a little bit of a line here but its definitely worth it. The Snow Monster of West Campus. They have snow ice, shaved ice, a variety of toppings, and boba drinks. Its a good atmosphere but seating and parking is pretty limited.
