Delicious kolaches - fresh made and super softtried jalapeño egg cheese and potatoFriendly staff and reasonably priced

Great place! Ive gone here several times the past month, including at around 1 in the afternoon. Unlike some other places Ive been that stay open past morning, the kolaches and donuts here are always still fresh, warm and delicious. The service is always fast and really good and Ive yet to try something that isnt absolutely delicious!

Good food, good service, and a good iced coffee. The kolaches are larger than the small ones you get at gas stations or from dunkin donuts. They are softer and appear to be made fresh every morning too. The iced coffee was on point and the lady at the drive thru window was friendly and quick. Cant beat that!

Low key best kolaches Ive had in Austin so far. I admit Im new to the world of kolaches but Ive had a few now and these are my favorite. The actual pastry/bread is so soft and flavorful with tasty fillings. Very fast little drive thru too!

Service was wonderful, I was given free donuts holes with my order, and the cheese jalapeño and sausage kolache was amazing! You can tell everything is made fresh and with care. 10/10 will be coming back again.

Really good hole in the wall donut and kolache shop! They even make different shape donuts for kids like stars. They have amazing hotdog size kolaches that are the right balance of meat and bread.

Please change your hours to closed. I’ve wasted my time pulling up to this place and no one is working when it’s supposed to be “opened” according to google. Go to Lone Star Kolache just up the road. Don’t waste your time.

This place has the best donuts I have ever tasted!! Bavarian cream can be gross, they nailed it! Flavor, consistency, and a good portion without drowning it! The service was on point, the staff is very polite and helpful! I usually don’t write reviews, but this place is awesome and I will definitely return!

First and last time. Pictures are deceiving. Location is literally a small shack like building. Donuts were sitting on a back shelf uncovered and there was flies everywhere. It reminded me of the Holly Molly Donut Shop from that Friday after next film. Customer service was poor. Not welcoming whatsoever. Donuts were hard and dry. Not impressed. If my kid wasn’t craving donuts, I would have walked out. Definitely do not recommend.

So sweet. The nice ladies. The donuts. The smell inside. The free WiFi (if you ask nicely). Its hard not to smile as you get high on sweet smell. Great place to treat yourself. Alas...while I would love to eat there every day, my high blood sugar forces keeps me in check. But if your body can afford the treats, you cant go wrong.

Closed the past three days due to “family emergency”......not good

Used to be a reliable place for kolache, donuts, friendly and competent staff.However new owners have had hard time learning the business, w/ substandard quality of product, substandard level of service.I left after waiting for extended amount of time in the drive thru with what seemed to a confused staff understanding what was being ordered, or maybe the person in the car was causing the issue.Previously two weeks prior to this visit, I got a day or two old roll that was obviously not homemade, w/ a runny egg and tasteless cheese. Staff seemed unsure of how to service patrons on several other visits, so this was a make or break visit. It Broke..I went elsewhere 1 mile away, for quick service and Fresh product

The kolaches and the coffee are delicious.The service is outstanding.The lady separates my order into bags for each guy at my job.she even puts my bosses daughters name on her bag.I eat there at least 2 times a week.Sometimes more.

The Kolaches were excellent, the filling was very good! The donuts were just as good. Excellent service. My wife loves the lemon filled donuts but they didnt have any so the lady went to the back and had some filled for me and she loved them.

Convenient and they have tasty selections on the regular. If you want a wide selection, especially during COVID, you have to get there early.

I love coming here! The service and the food is superb 👌🏽. My favorite barista is Sai! She always makes my mornings with her friendly smile and great service. I definitely recommend this place for any locals or anyone visiting in the Northwest area!

This was my first visit and will also be my last. The inside looks nothing like the photos here, all the inventory is on racks behind the counter so it is very hard to see. I was expected to try and order over other yelling patrons. It was Sunday morning and they were out of everything. Donuts look like they had not been fried in oil hot enough and I expect they are very greasy.

Nice little shop, friendly staff. Theyll heat up stuff if you wish. Range of kolache including sausage. Blueberry cake donuts well made. I think they request a minimum purchase of $3 if you use credit. Good place to visit if youre waiting on tires to be mounted at Discount Tire.

Unfortunately, I probably won’t be coming here again. It was my first time visiting. The service was poor. I gave 3 stars because the food that I got to eat was decent. I ordered 2 eclairs and the girl bagged them on top of one another so on one of the all of the icing in on the bag and the other one the icing is on the bottom of the top one. I’m just disappointed in the whole experience.EDIT***I would now give this place ZERO stars if I could. Just bit into one of the eclairs that was supposed to be Bavarian cream and it’s jelly. The girl I spoke to on the phone was so incredibly rude! All I did was ask for a replacement and she told me to come back now. When I told her I was already home and would not be returning today she let out a huge sigh of annoyance like I was inconveniencing her. I’m pretty sure you all making my order wrong is an inconvenience to me, not you. Don’t bother going here unless you want mediocre food and some of the worst service you could receive.

Best and fresh kolaches in Austin area. I visit atleast 10 times in a month .

The last 2 times I’ve been here, I left unsatisfied. I used to love stopping by on Sunday mornings. The last time sour milk was used in my coffee. Today, I was given an iced coffee with so much syrup that it literally never mixed with the coffee. Without exaggeration, it was like drinking out of a syrup bottle. Unfortunately, I went through the drive thru and wasn’t close enough to go back, so I just had to dump it out.

I love the food their and hey yall really should go their things are happening over their fresh new look and soon new food this place is gonna be popular

This is our go to spot when we dont have time for breakfast at home. My kids love their Kolaches and donut holes. Everything is always fresh!

The line was so slow. We waited 15 minutes to get to the window. Once at the window the employee barely understood English. The woman helping him kept saying I dont know how to do that.. The order was wrong (not surprising). We will not be back.

This is my first time going there . I was super surprised by the size of their round kolaches, they are huge. It is really full of stuffing. I love the taste of their bread and the potato egg kolache is super awesome. This will be my go to breakfast place. I loved their creative swirly mini donut and the ladies are so patient to let me choose and change my choices

Not a fan, there is no bread on the kolachies and there was a hair on mine. We were sitting in the drive thru for a while and no one was there to take our order until we drove up to the window and then she didnt even get all of our order.

Its a small place, but thats because its owned and operated by one family. Its infinitely better tasting than Shipleys, which is just a bit further down Anderson Mill, and its cheaper, too. Whenever Id bring these to gatherings, Id get bombarded with questions from people whod grown up in the area about where they were from, and how theyd never heard of them before. They seem to be growing in popularity, which is awesome, but the inconspicuous DONUTS sign on the building is keeping them from being totally overrun. Couldnt recommend this place more.

Simply the best donuts and Kolaches in Austin. Been coming here for over 2 years and counting. Ive tried other places, but keep coming back. Donuts are very airy and light, but delicious. Kolaches are similarly made. Good selection of different flavors.Update: the previous owner, Tom, no longer owns the shop which is disappointing. Im glad to say though quality is still good. Im disappointed the new owners dont run the train inside any more. Prices are relatively the same and there are some new donut offerings.

Great place for traditional cream cheese or fruit kolache or to pick up klobásníky (meat and egg filled). Unlike any other place in town, they actually use kolache dough to make their tasty treats. What an awesome way to start the day.

I dont know how this place is always packed. Staff is nice, but the donuts were small, bland and overpriced. I thought the donuts in the window were display. The creme filled only had a dollop in the middle.. it tasted like what motor oil would taste like...Im sorry

You guys shouldnt let kids run your business, Ive always come to you guys because of your ham and croissant wraps and star shaped donuts (trivial I know but they make my 5 year old happy). I came today through the drive through and not only was I charged for regular kolaches the first time and was more than happy to pay again for the wraps I wasnt informed they didnt make the regular wraps and was given the ham egg and cheese sandwiches, that not only completely different from what I ordered I also have egg allergies with my my family so they cant even eat those. There were other issues but not worth discussing here. Seriously retrain your employees on how to inform customers about products you dont carry and make sure they arent just giving out things that arent asked for. Im so disappointed I probably will not be back.

This is my new favorite place - the kolaches are EXCELLENT - we had:Sausage cheese (long) - RECOMMEND!Sausage egg cheese (round)Potato egg jalepeno (round) - RECOMMEND!Apple (round) - RECOMMEND!They were all super fresh and well made and the ladies at the counter couldnt be nicer.My only ding was the donut - got a chocolate donut that was extremely fresh and sweetened just right, but the oil used to fry it had a little bit of a strongish aftertaste to it. That could be due to a number of reasons - type of oil, whether this oil was used to fry a number of items beforehand or other items were fried alongside the donuts. A simple swapping of the oil more often or changing the type of oil should do the trick.All in all, great place, highly highly recommend the kolaches. For vegetarians (who eat dairy/eggs), the vegetarian kolaches were honestly as good or better than the meat ones, so you will definitely be as happy as your carnivore buddies!

This place is fantastic! A lovely distinctive doughnut smell is heavy in the air, and they taste fantastic. A super kindly Asian lady was working the counter- perhaps the owner? She was very nice and even through a couple extra mini doughnuts in my half dozen! They taste amazing, Ill certainly be back here.

Alwaays love this place. I worked in a donut shop for many years and this is a close second to quality. They have lots of varieties in all things mini ; fritters, cinnamon rolls, even tiny kolaches. Love the jumbo sausage and cheese and the stuffed sausage egg and cheese os delicious. We call it the no name shop because the sign is so tiny. Its right close next to burger king.

Ehhh...not the best kolaches Ive had. Theyre ok. I wouldnt go out of my way to go here. The donuts looked good. The kolaches are not filled well. All meat is rolled out clumped down the middle. The cheese is not spread evenly and then you have a lot of dough around the filing. It seemed the ingredients we not the highest quality. There wasnt a lot of flavor.

The chocolate creme filled donuts are beyond incredible! It is open crazy early and they always have a big selection available!

Best kolaches and cinnamon rolls ever!

The people there are pretty nice they gave me some extra donuts. The kolaches are pretty good too. I got the sausage cheese and jalapeño kolaches.

I was originally kind of put off by the place, they didnt seem too interested in helping me, and were not very nice when I walked in. They quickly warmed up, and comped me a coffee and a donut after they fulfilled a fairly big order for me.

Simple and quaint. There is really nothing special about this place, but it is still really good. Their kolache bread tastes right, which is pretty impressive, and their breakfast tacos are impressive for a little mom and pop drive thru. Their process are reasonable, and when the coffee bean next store ran out of tacos one morning, this place made it right. I have found myself going back on a regular basis. Like I said, is not blow your socks off, but it is reliably good, affordable, and never a line.Also, their menu is pretty varied, so I look forward to trying some more of their yummis.

Got two breakfast crescents and one had hair in the egg, which is gross enough, but the second had plastic. Im not sure how they managed to get plastic in it, but I wont be eating here again, which sucks because they had the best donuts in the area.
