Very pleased with the look, quality and installation. Took a bit longer than expected to get the door due to COVID and the big freeze in Austin, but once the door was made, it was installed immediately and they did a great job!

I cannot recommend Cantera doors highly enough. We closed on our new home and selected Cantera double doors for the entry. After closing, we asked Cantera doors to enclose our study with matching doors. Laura did a great job envisioning the project, the doors arrived earlier than committed and the install crew was phenomenal!

After the big rain/wind storm in Austin recently, I opened my cantera door for cleaning and one of the latches failed. I reached out to Cantera doors for a replacement latch. Unbeknown to me, that was about the same time as they were relocating their office to Spicewood, tx. Surprisingly, the customer service was great! Not only did I receive a replacement latch, but I received a small amount of paint and instructions on addressing a very small rust spot on the bottom of the door. Although a failed latch is infrequent, Cantera really went the extra mile to make sure that I was a satisfied customer!

Beautiful doors and friendly helpful staff.

Aesthetically-speaking, we love our new front door and side light window. We get many compliments on the door. The order process was simple and the install appointment was seamless.Quality-wise, it’s heavy and the keypad works flawlessly. However, the quality is not what we were expecting for the cost of the door and side light window. A few days after install it rained and we had a very large puddle of water in our house that seeped in from the windows on the door. We called the company who sent over their team to seal the windows. It was back and forth with them and the office - somehow they thought it was normal for a door not to be water proof? Anyway, they sealed and we haven’t had water seep in again. I will say the door almost 7 weeks later is still dripping water from what water remains inside the door. I can see it’s red and areas of the door surrounding the windows are beginning to rust. Not what you would expect for having a door for 3 months that cost $10,000.During install our ring camera was smashed along with inside office door at bottom. Our door also has a chip in it. All in all, I would not recommend or use Cantera again.
