We paid over 1/2 of an order for 30 windows and doors. We received 11 windows, no doors. The windows that were installed are not to code, dented, broken glass, crooked, and they all need to be ripped out and replaced. The owner Mike Novak will not respond to phone calls, emails, texts or certified letters. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. They damaged our house terribly. The ruined our tile floor, stucco, dry wall and exterior paint on our house. Our project is now going to cost us more than double to get the windows done correctly and fix all the damage that was done by The Texas Window Guy. Please look elsewhere for your project, this is not a company I would refer to my worst enemy. I am attaching photos of the quality of work and how they left our home for over a month. We had to hire a contractor to clean up the mess and the foam that was all over our house, interior & exterior. We tried to settle with Mile Novak and he will not respond. We are contacting the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and The Attorney General

Mike and his crew were extremely nice and efficient as well. Im satisfied with my new windows and my choice to go with The Texas Window Guy. The black windows Mike recommended really stand out and look amazing!

Terrible experience with Mike Novak. I paid for windows and never received them. Please beware of this vendor. He will take your money and not deliver any windows. He forged contracts with our signatures and filed liens against our home. He refused to take an of our phone calls for months and when we reversed the charges through our credit card company he harassed us at all hours of the day and night. He had several great reviews but then we were told by a staff member that they were not paying customers

Great sales team, just what I was wanting for my customer and they came out and measured, sent me the cad drawing to approve, and 3 weeks later my customer had the windows they have always wanted and were extremely satisfied

We signed a contract with these guys to replace almost all our windows. A team member came to take measurements - the order was placed. We paid 50% deposit on 2/26/2021. They told us it would take 4 - 6 weeks for our windows to arrive. Then, they went dark. No updates, no picking up the phone, nothing. We finally managed to get a hold of the owner who said our order was lost so they needed to place the order again. A second team member came to re-measure. Order was placed again. And they went dark again. Eventually, we were able to get a hold of them and a million excuses - Covid, backorders, etc. Finally, at the beginning of June, we got a hold of them and they said that our order would arrive in 6 weeks. 6 weeks???!!!! This tells me they hadnt ordered it, again. We believe in second (and third) chances so we waited. They said installation would start on 7/12. We called the week before to confirm installation date and they confirmed. 7/12 came and nobody showed up, nobody called, nothing. They dont pick up the phone and theres always a million excuses. At one point the owner told me he had to fire his entire team and hire a new one - I have no confidence that theyll know how to install the windows properly. Now we cant get a hold of anyone. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY, ITS A SCAM!!!!! I want a full refund - wish me luck getting a hold of them!

Everytime the guy was at my house his breath smelled like vodka. I purchased windows from the company and two months later I still didnt have windows. I called the company that was making my windows and the order still had not been placed.I confronted them and the excuses started to fly.The Texas Window Guy believes that he is a good salesman but I suspect he is simply good at telling people what they want to hear. At least three of his reviews on here are fake.

Don’t do it!!!!! put 50% down in January and windows were not ordered until April after multiple follow ups with Mike. Never answered my call or got back to me, unless I threatened lawsuits or demanded refunds. It has been one problem after another with every excuse in the book given from Mike Novak and his team. Order was lost, windows were lost, back ordered, and even the baby’s sick. We ended up going with a different window company to get the rest of the windows ordered. Please do your research!!!!! Check their BBB rating. Pretty strange this company has either 5 star amazing reviews, or horrible 1 star ones…..

Professionalism is set aside for vanity as the owner is more interested in his needs than the needs of the customers and employees.As he wrestles with his demons, he makes bad decisions for his customers and then the customers and employees suffer.He will sell you beauty but will deliver heartache.

We have been planning a huge remodel project. I can’t tell you how many contractors and professionals we’ve been dealing with over the past six months. But none have stood out in such a wonderful way as the Texas window Guy. Mike was fast at getting back to me, Incredibly knowledgeable, and very fast with a quote.

DO NOT USE THEM! This unprofessional group cant keep a schedule or respond to calls for finishing the job. They used a lazy crew who made a mess and broke things. I had to make them go through their garbage to retrieve items. Not waiting for them get it right.

I gave a deposit for a sliding patio door in December. After waiting 4 1/2 months (and not receiving any information the entire 4+ months without having to follow up multiple times via email, phone and Facebook messenger), the owner tells me at 9:30pm the day before he said it would be installed that they didnt even have the correct door. (And Im sure if I hadnt followed up twice that day since I hadnt received the call I was supposed to get about the install, I would have heard nothing.)We waited 2 extra months (from February) for the beige door that we had ordered (instead of the white door that they said was available back in February) and then agreed to a white door in April when he said the beige door still wasnt available. He confirmed the specs of the white door the week before the April install date he gave us and then ends up telling us the door isnt available. I finally gave up and asked for a refund - which took a while because (surprise!) he didnt respond to emails or phone calls over multiple days confirming that he was actually sending it.We wasted 4 1/2 months (and all the time spent trying to get updates and the status of our order).

My experience with Mike and his team at TWG was outstanding these guys are the real deal professional and are extremely talented. Mike was outgoing courteous and thorough, and his crew was respectful and responsible. In regards to the design and aesthetic of the project I couldn’t have been more impressed with the results of the completion of this renovation. choose these guys and do yourself a favor.

I had a great experience with the Texas Window Guy. The process was seamless and efficient from beginning to end. Mike did a fantastic job of matching some of our existing windows. The install crew was professional, detail oriented, and very courteous to my family. I was kept up to date on every step of the process from lead times for orders to install dates. My family couldn’t be happier with our beautiful new windows!

Its definitely not your traditional window company Mr Novaks unique approach and intricate design of our windows and doors for our home could not have been done by anyone else nor would we ever refer or work with anyone else he has a great team a great staff despite a few hiccups they stay dedicated and finished out with an above quality job.

Unprofessional shop. They will ghost on you. Do not use.Scheduled an appointment. They texted me a confirmation. I arranged my entire calendar around them. They did not show up. When I tried calling them, no answer. Unable to leave a voicemail (their phone not accepting them).How is this even close to a real business?

I really wanted to use this company to replace 4 old windows given their great reviews, but maybe something has changed with how they are run. I set an appointment up a week out. Appointment day/time came and after an hour nobody showed up so I called the office. The woman in the office was and has been very polite. She seemed surprised nobody showed up and confirmed my appointment was on the schedule. I made time out of my work day for this appointment. About an hour later I get a call from a rep who just asks me to text pics of the windows im looking to replace and my current windows i want to match. Over text he starts guessing what my current window material is and im pretty sure he is wrong. I suggest having someone come out and take a look given thats what was planned the entire time (the appointment they no-showed on). That rep ask send me your address and ill see how far away you are. This response is ridiculous. Your office has my address. You no showed on my appointment. And now over text you seem less than interested in working with me. I actually texted my address and never heard back from the rep. I called the office the following day. The office lady I have spoken to was apologetic and said she would 100% have another rep reach out that day. Here I am another 24hrs later and no calls...nothing. They wasted a fair bit of my time and acted completely uninterested in working on my project to replace 4 windows.

Wow 😳! Totally impressed with Mike and his guys!I was looking to replace my windows and patio door and landed on his company thru some Facebook ad.Mike sat with me for like 2 hours, trying every possible solution to fit all my tastes (expensive) into my budget ( a bit limited).Very honest guy, he really works with you to make your project happen!I shopped around and I can tell prices are unbeatable but mainly what got me was the integrity of those guys.Highly highly recommended!

Got a great deal on slick looking black framed windows. Much more affordable than the next company. Highly recommended. Installer Abel knows his stuff.

Michael is hands down the most knowledgeable guy in the window biz. As an interior designer, I know he has great taste, and hes fun to partner with on creative endeavors.
