New favorite place for banh mis. We tried the grilled pork and bun belly, as well as the chicken spring rolls. Their peanut sauce is out of this world, and you could make a meal just out of the spring rolls if you wanted to! We ate at the yellow counter facing the windows. Seating is limited, but it wasn’t crowded when we were there. The market portion of the store had a lot of local options for drinks and snacks. We will be back!

Convenient grocery store. Friendly staff. I do not recommend the bahn mi though. Ive never had one where its not loaded up with herbs/cilantro and the one I had here had zero herbs. The bread was also really tough. It is nice to have a spot nearby in the hood to grab a variety of things though, so will definitely be back. Would much rather support a local shop than the Target and Whole Foods around the corner.

Love this place! They make an effort to carry local products. Also excited that they support a local, Veteran owned coffee company that specializes in cold brew.

Love this place especially their croissants (i always get a sausage and something else today blueberry cream croissant) which are made every morning they said/taste. After 4 they have a buy one get one free on them too! The staff is super friendly and seem to have good vibes as well. Finally tried spring roll (comes in 2 with peanut sauce for $4) today for the first time. A little flavorless but still good

I went in for the first time on Saturday 9/15 afternoon and had a great experience- the two girls at the counter were great. However, the girl working on Sunday afternoon was phenomenal. I believe her name was Brooklyn. My friend and I felt so welcome thanks to her customer service skills. I used to work in customer service, so I know it can be easy to keep conversation very basic. We ended up having about a 10-15 minute conversation with Brooklyn. She was incredibly friendly and hospitable. Honestly, I rarely leave reviews online but she went above and beyond for us so I feel she deserves good feedback. I definitely plan on coming back for more iced coffee in the future!

Great inventory if you just need a quick stop.

The Bee is great place to get your morning coffee and egg-n-cheese croissant in the morning. They also have most things you would expect from corner store. The unexpected aspect of this store is the availability of Vietnamese sandwiches which look delicious.

Get the creme cheese brownie. Great service and wonderful workers.

Love this little grocery store. Way more choices than a typical convenience store and much better products to boot. Parking can be a bit tough but Im sure it is super accessible for all of the residents in the apartments above.

I was wandering on foot one evening when I had an art show downtown & didnt want to lose my good parking spot. Stumbled upon The Bee Grocery and found it to be delightful. Restroom was incredibly clean...always appreciated. And I enjoyed a very good, very healthy dinner!

Most convenient stores/restaurants are pretty matter of fact...in and out with no emotional kindness...ive been here twice, enjoyed the food and coffee and thought the staff were the nicest people...it really brightens my day... this is a great place. hats off to them and see you again soon.

Cool spot to stop for snacks, ready made meals, or fresh eats. Beer, wine, treats, tobacco products, frozen meals, and it doesnt stop there. Management is welcoming and staff always has a smile on their face. Just two blocks east of I35 on 6th.

This place is freaking awesome! Their PHO is one of the best I have ever tried, and the staff is super friendly, especially the owner . He even gave me and my wife free dessert.

A nice neighborhood bodega. Good bhanmi and a nice selection of treats and beer. You can sit inside or grab your sandwich to go. Its easy access for cyclist, pedestrians, or drivers.

Love being able to walk over and pick up some light groceries / baked goods or a crazy awesome Bahn Mi. Service is great. Space is great. Glad I live nearby now.

Visiting Austin on business. Walked in there for some food, was really impressed with both the service and quality of the sandwich. I had the BonMi...solid choice, you should try. And the guy behind the counter is awesome too.

Awesome banh mi. Randomly stopped by for some water and other supplies and we decided to get a bite. Im Viet so trust me when I tell you we were pleasantly surprised by how good the pork belly banh mi is. Would definitely go back and try other things too. Check it out if youre in the area!

Bee has most of the food, drinks, and home items you would need and expect from a neighborhood grocer, and their staff is always friendly and personable.
