I purchased a suppressor from my local gun store, which was powered by SilencerShop’s kiosk and platinum support. I couldn’t have asked for my purchase to go smoother. I simply emailed them a copy of my gun trust, did my fingerprinting and questionnaire at the kiosk, and paid for a tax stamp on their website! Easier than I had hoped it could be. I am very impressed with the way of filling out my form 4 and the continuous updates from Silencer Shop. Its my first time purchasing a silencer and thus far its been a positive experience. Other than the wait time of the ATF. Using the kiosk was easy, quick response with further information on what to do next. All in all, very nice experience.

Working with Silencer Shop has been a wonderful experience. You can tell they have put a lot of thought into the system from the perspective of there customers. My only feedback is to update the database of kiosks. There was one right down the street from my house and I went to one that was farther away. I think they just need to update there directory is all. Outside of that small issue it was honestly an extremely easy and smooth process. I will work with them again in the future.

Had a profile set up from the last time I made a purchase. About 18months later and when I made another purchase it was wicked easy. Had to update my photo (every 12 months you have to) but my prints were on file and my FFL was able to work with Silencer Shop directly which was nice. No physical paper work and no worries of messing anything up on the forms. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience start to finish. Creating an account was super easy. When I went to the range the kiosk was super easy and the doc you sign of course makes the whole transaction really classy. I purchased a unit that processed through Texas Gun Experience. The sales rep directed me to the PC to complete the required information and pay for my tax stamp. We then went to the kiosk for prints and a photo. The entire process took less than aboot 20 minutes and was relatively painless. I would recommend the Silencer Shop for your Class 3 needs.

The experience between the kiosk, app, and website was a bit confusing for me to be honest, I didnt realize the kiosk could not be used to purchase items at first. But this is trivial compared to the pain of doing the paperwork myself, so I am glad this service exists. None of the paperwork should be required to begin with but alleviating the pain points as much as possible in the meantime is greatly appreciated.

I appreciate what Silencer Shop is trying to do. Improving the registration process is a worthy endeavor. However, they need to work on some of the basic technology as it regards to user login, and clear tracking of outstanding items. We painfully tripped through the process, and when we asked the store owner who maintained the kiosk to help, they basically complained that Silencer Shop is difficult and they didnt want to help. I called support several times, and finally got it done, but honestly Ive had a better time with the paper process in the past.

Called in to see about availability for a Q cherry bomb. Dan the man answered and got me sorted for pick up. He went above and beyond to take care of me, even helped me figure out my next can purchase and answered a ton of my questions regarding trusts, laws etc….. My local gun shop has the Silencer Shop Kiosk available and the entire process for applying for the federal tax stamp was easy to go through. Ordering the suppressor was quick and easy also. I got a chance to actually physically look at the model I ordered because my dealer was holding one for another customer waiting on the federal tax stamp.The only fly in the ointment is the delay caused by the federal government and the apparent inconsistency of how long it takes to process the tax stamp application. When I heard 4 to 14 months with the recent time being 6 months it concerned me, but it didnt surprise me. Hopefully I will be able to pick it up by Christmas.

Ok so heres how you get 5-stars ... when you arent PERFECT ...These guys had just adopted some new software / web-based system that was screwing some stuff up with the web experience / purchase process ...WELL, ONE COMPLAINT FROM ME AND THE SERVICE CREW CAME OUT OF EVERYWHERE - I got emails, I had Chat help and bamn, within an hour we were FIXED. Well done to the service team (especially you Kyle) and management deserves a pat on the back for being flexible and skilled enough to react and fix their problem.

We had issues with the start of your app and loading information and photo.. I am a retired LEO and the fingerprint system has problems with dry fingers. Additional training for the local staff is needed,a simple tube of hand lotion will help raise the print.. It took two days to complete the registration.

Not sure what wait is longer, silencer shop approval or the ATF approval. 5 months since paper work has been filed and still hasnt been sent off to ATF. Then emailed me saying I never purchased a tax stamp, which I had. Try calling and messaging but they never answer or message back. Never again. Would give no stars but I guess they get one so I can post this...

Could not possibly make purchasing a silencer easier. There is a Silencer Shop kiosk about 15 minutes from my house, and having been able to scan my own and my partner’s fingerprints to my profile just once is beyond convenient. I have also set up my own NFA trust with Silencer Shop, which was infinitely easier than I was led to believe it would be, and now makes Form 1s simple (just order a set of physical prints online with SS!) and Form 4’s practically effortless. Any and all issues can be quickly and easily resolved via their online chat, and I never have to wait long to get connected. A+ customer service, will purchase all silencers through them in the future. I cannot recommend them highly enough, but especially to people that are intimidated or overwhelmed by the bureaucratic red tape of the NFA that makes it more complicated to own items that are statistically practically never used in crime.

Ive always wanted a suppressor but the whole process turned me off of it. Well I finally decided to take that next step in my 2a journey, and found a local shop that sold them. They so happened to have a silencer shop kiosk.It made the whole task SO easy! It didnt take long at all to set up a profile, get a proper picture, full fingerprinting and all other steps taken care of. Its truly hassle free and very easy. I highly recommend it.Once submitted they email you final forms for signature, which worked nicely on my smartphone. They email me every step of the way with updates. Im now waiting for confirmation that the AFT cashed my stamp fee.Now the bad. Im an impatient man and now have to wait 7-9 months for the AFT to approve my stamp.. this will be a long, painful wait.. but oh so sweet in the end! Made a little sweeter knowing E-Files come back just a little bit sooner.10/10 will recommend silencer shop to my friends. Ill be back as well.

Please post a flow chart of the individual steps/stages/milestones a purchase goes through before you actually send off the paperwork. The lack of transparency here is just as frustrating as waiting for the stamp. Im stareing at an approved form three, and a completed form four, and no where on your site does it say the form 4 wont ship until the form 3 recipient confirms possession via DocuSign....or any of the other incremental status updates and purchaser dependant actions that are part of the process. This would make for a drastically better customer experience, no more wondering if I missed doing something, wondering if its being held up because of a typo, are you guys dragging your feet, etc. Just a humble suggestion that would have saved me 20 minutes in a chat queue and 5 minutes of one of your customer service reps time. Im sure Im not the only customer having this same frustration, ultimately driving your support costs up.

This is my second purchase through Silencer Shop. It was super easy, and Silencer Shop’s kiosk and dealers make purchasing a silencer very streamlined. My photos for my second purchase was out of date, and within the hour of making the purchase, on a Saturday, I was notified to update my picture. I was able to do it right through the app. By Monday everything was complete and now I’m just waiting.

I recently purchased a 1911 and didn’t notice the front sight was damaged, most likely when it was assembled at the manufacturer. Not only did they fix the problem, they upgraded the entry level fiber optic sight with high-end luminescent ones, replaced them both, and did it all with a smile.
