Went there to get a water quality check on my hot tubs current fill and to pick up some chemicals for it. Had 4 of the 5 items I wanted to purchase.

I received my hot tub on 12/23/2020. Upon delivery they informed me that the cover for my tub did not come with the shipment. Which was about two months past what they originally told me. It’s now been over three months and they still can’t or won’t deliver my hot tub cover. I have called, emailed and pleaded to get the cover. This is extremely frustrating since I spent over 17K for the tub and ATEX can’t even get me my cover for the hot tub. I strongly recommend that you avoid A-TEX spas at all cost. They haven’t been helpful at all.

I’ve used A-Tex south for probably 15 years and can vouch they are the best around. This year I needed a new liner and Joann suggested Joe and his crew. They were prompt, professional and very attentive to detail. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Great location, friendly and helpful staff

I have been waiting for a yr. To have a pool put in. I bought the liner and was told that someone of their contractors would put it in. Im still waiting.

After searching around and reading reviews for 2 months my husband and I went into Atex at 290 to look at their spas. That was when our good luck began. We were assisted by Joanne who was not a pushy sales type but the type that answered all of our questions. She did not rush us and allowed us to talk and decide. She was near by for questions if we needed her the whole time. We left the store that day after purchasing our spa. She said we would have delivery and set up within 2 weeks. It actually took approximately a week and a half. All of the gentleman that completed the install were really nice, took time to answer our questions, guided us and assisted with start up. I would recommend this company to anyone. I feel they that they went above and beyond and so very happy that we purchased there.

Uhhhh... hot tubs are expensive, dont kid yourself. We LOVE ours and its worth every penny and this place has a talented team of installers.

I recently had an issue with a leaky pool valve and was looking for some direction. As soon as I described the issue, A-Tex immediately knew what type of valve I had, and what needed to be done to fix it. Great product knowledge and customer service by their team. I will definitely use them again for my future pool and spa needs. Thanks.

A-TEX Family Fun Center (South) has been a pleasure to work with. We purchased a new pool from them back in March of 2013 and over the last 18 months theyve nothing short of amazing. The team, which consist of Joanne, David, Bethany and Abby bend over backwards for us every time we visit.They test our water each week providing us with a detailed print-out of our chemical balances and recommend exactly whats needed to maintain and clean, healthy pool. On-site is full inventory of chemicals, pool parts and recreational accessories making it a one-stop-shop!In addition to the pool and spa portion of A-TEX (South) they convert their showroom in the fall through winter to an amazing Christmas oriented environment displaying trees, ornaments, lights, and many other seasonal decor along with mounting/hanging hardware etc....We highly recommend A-TEX South and encourage you to stop by, browse the showroom, meet the team and experience true knowledgeable customer service!

Im sure the product is nice. It certainly looks nice sitting on my deck! Unfortunately, I wouldnt know about the quality because our hot tub was dropped off without being hooked up to the electric.The delivery guys told my husband that was an additional package (~$90). When we purchased the hot tub we were told that we simply needed the electrical to be ready to go, the delivery guys would hook it up, nothing further.We certainly wouldnt buy a 10,000+ hot tub and try to cheap out on a $90 hookup fee!When my husband called to get them to come back out and hook it up, the charge has now jumped to $200!Like I said, Im sure it is a nice hot tub, but I wouldnt know anything about that.

I bought a pool from them about a year ago and the quality seems great so far. The staff is very very friendly and helpful every time I work with them.I did run into a major issue during the installation process. They sent out contractors to install and they told me there could be an additional minor fee if there a lot of roots in the way of the installation. I had to ask him several times how much a minor fee was before he would think about telling me. His response was 7, 8, 900 dollars. By no means is that a minor fee in my eyes. I told him that was not minor and there was no way I was paying that much. He quickly flipped the script and said it would probably only be $100-200. It was clear that he was feeling me out for how much he could get out of me by gauging my reaction. I immediately called A-TEX and they agreed the price should not be that high but $100-200 is normal if extra time/effort is needed. I ended up paying them a requested $150 despite not witnessing any issues with installation. I truly believe they try to weasel money out of you regardless of the difficulty of the job. I was refunded half of that with store credit after complaining to the owner. They said the contractor was joking but that is complete BS. Contractor or not, it was a direct reflection of their business despite me believing the owner does not condone that type of action.I must also mention that the chlorine I received from them caused three of my family members to break out into hives. I promptly switched to a different brand.

A- Tex South is a great place to get all of your pool supplies and chemicals. If you dont already have a pool and want to check into owning one, a hot tub or possibly a swim space this is the place to go! Friendly and informative staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The carry a large variety of spas and pools. They also carry Maxx Spas which is a fantastic brand. It is an appliance grade spa that, from past experience, is one of the best in the industry. It also has a 110 outlet option for smaller spaces and lower electrical issues.

I was looking for hot tub dealers around the area and I found A-TEX Family Fun Center to be the best among them. From the very first call, I found the staff very helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating! I recommend them 100%!
