Bet-R is so far the best store Ive been to for customer service! A little pricey but its worth it with the awesome way they treat the customers. There is only one worker there that I do not think has good customer service. The rest are great

Very homey feel to the store. People were greeting each other & the store employees were all friendly & happy that Id stopped by once I told them a coupon brought me there. A quick look & I could see that even though its a smaller store, they have quality products in stock. Some were happy surprises.Since it is closer to where I work, I was happy to see a yummy looking regular hot lunch menu.

I really love this Better R store. Its very nice grocery store. They have a deli that serve really good food. ALWAYS hot and ready to eat. Breakfast and Lunch. Customer Services is really good today. I havent been there in years. But know that Im working in the area. I will visit them again.😁😁😁😁

I absolutely love this grocery store. They have such a good selection of items that you cant find at Albertsons or Walmart or even Trader Joes. Their wine selection is by far the best in town. Their butchers and deli personnel are the nicest in town. The managers are always so helpful and even though it has been slow at the store the cashiers are still very attentive.

The food in the hot case is top notch, BREAKFAST! & produce always quality. ( and they mark down produce wich is fantastic if you know you’ll use it the same day. Not always the cheapest, but have great sales & offer a really wide variety of local products.They also a real supporters of local community, i love the young man with Downs who is there in the mornings to help out, bag groceries, & greets everyone with a super sunshine smile.

I really enjoy having a locally-owned neighborhood grocery where the staff and owner know me and are pleasant. They have a great assortment of products and will work with you to carry something you want if they dont currently carry it. They have really upped their wine game. Beer selection is excellent as well. Highly recommended.

I came in to get a cool refreshing bottle of water, but me being the klutz I am was having difficulty finding it. Quickly an employee (I believe his name was Kaleb) guided me to where I could buy individual bottles of water. I was impressed because at most stores they simply tell you where to go, but the employees at Bet-R actually take the time to personally guide you. Bet-R really proves why shopping local is worth it. Cannot recommend enough.

They will do their best to find and stock something if they dont have it. Highly recommended if you like a personal touch.

Bet-R is a wonderful Place to Shop for your groceries needs and very clean and has a real friendly staff try their hot food in a Dilly that serves breakfast lunch and dinner and a safe place to shop and is located right next to the Perkins Road overpass just off of Christian Street in Baton Rouge Terry Smith

What a great grocery store. We just moved into the mid-city area and have found the grocery store choices in Baton Rouge to be a bit narrow so this little neighborhood market is a great find. Great selection, friendly staff, and CLEAN!

I love BET-R because it is always clean, well stocked and there is never a long wait to be checked out. The employees are always courteous and helpful. The hot plates are very good down home soul cooking.

Wonderful neighborhood grocery store for those that live in the Garden District or surrounding neighborhoods. After moving here from a more rural setting, where I grew up, I really appreciate the convenience of being able to ride to the store on my bicycle to pick up a few random things for dinner. The staff is very friendly, and they always have more than I expect.

I enjoy the convenience of Bet R being in my neighborhood, I only wish their prices would be more competitive. Prices are high.I would shop there all the time if not for the high prices.The hot plate lunches are very good.The catfish is to die for.

You can find everything fairly easily. But unless there is a sale, youre better off going to Wal-Mart, Albersons, or even Trader Joes. Youre definitely going to pay a good amount more for a majority of your things otherwise.

Friendly staff, wonderful options of anything youd look for at your local grocery store. Extensive collection of wines, and they dont have your favorite then just tell the manager... they will aim to please.

Staff is friendly and prices are fair. They have a great deli and prepped meals (fried cat fish, BBQ etc). Produce can be hit or miss .

I shop here about 4 times a week. Cliff and Hadrian have a friendly, professional team and they have excellent quality meats and produce.

This is the most friendly, clean, and well-stocked grocery in the area. They also carry a number of local south Louisiana specialty products, which I really appreciate. However, the best part of Bet-R is the employees - they are always quick to help, you never have to wait in line as theyll open up a new lane as soon as they see you, and they are so polite and friendly. During check out, I often think how nice it would be if all young people were as nice as the folks at Bet-R. From a customer service perspective its the opposite of going to Walmart. On a recent visit I dropped my work ID in the parking lot - a full week later when I was checking out an employee named LaQuia (sp?) came up and asked if it was mine. She hung on to it for a full week and then noticed when I was there again! Folks, if thats not superb customer service I dont know what is. Thank you for being such a wonderful neighborhood grocery.

I shop at Bet-R because the meat is fresh. The prices are high, but they do have some sales when you can catch them.

Sorry to report at least 3 staff members wearing masks, as required, but pulled down below their noses. No supervisor around to correct it. I like this store very much, my go to neighborhood market.

Cashiers are not friendly, I never seen a store that would allow this, they always talking to each other and ignor the customer. Been shopping there for 5 month, but I may stop and go to Rouses.
