Stay away! I like Metro PCS, but this store and especially the one on Bay Rd in Saginaw are absolutely horrible. Both stores have the same ill-bred, ignorant owner and it shows. The staff here too, are discourteous and witless. They ALWAYS have an attitude, like it is a privilege for you to be in their presence. The owner switches them from store to store in hopes that you wont get the same bad-mannered imbecile every time. Whenever a family member or I have been in there, it has always been a hassle. Whether its been to pay a bill or problems with hardware, it has never been an easy or pleasant transaction. I usually go to these stores because they are closest for me. However, after this last time, I will never do business with them again.My family and I have been Metro PCS customers for over 5 years. We have 6 lines total and always pay several months in advance, typically a whole year, if the staff are smart enough to figure out how to do it. This last time, I paid for the remainder of the year, almost $1000 on one account. They billed my credit card, but there was a problem and it didnt post to my account. We waited in the store for an hour and a half, while they tried to figure it out. After waiting all that time they still couldnt figure it out, but told us to go and they would keep working on it. A week and a half later, the money still wasnt posted to my account. My credit card was charged, they had my money, but I didnt have what I had paid for. The day before the due date, I called the store but couldnt get through. It kept going to a voicemail that was full, so you couldnt even leave a message. After several calls to the Metro PCS corporate office, my credit card company and two different stores, I was finally able to get through and spoke with a staff member. He said I got you 1000%, I know exactly what you are talking about. Give me 10 minutes and Ill call you right back.. Needless to say, he NEVER did. The next day, the day before our phones were to be turned off, I called back and spoke to a different staff member and had to explain the whole situation to him. He said he needed my card information, which I didnt have at that moment, so I had to call him back again. When I called back, he said the owner was there now and he was trying to remedy the situation. I had to wait on the line, for over a half an hour, while they tried to fix it. When he got back on the line, he told me that they had figured it out, but I would have to come into the store in order to sign the receipt before they would post the money to my account. I told him that it was an hour drive for me to get there and I asked to speak with the owner about it. He told me one second and put me on hold again. After waiting on the line for a half an hour AGAIN, the owner comes on the line and hangs up the phone without saying a word. When I called back, they flat out refused to let me speak with him. At this point Im livid. Remind you, they have had almost $1000 of my money for over a week and I had not received what I paid for and they had wasted literally hours of my time. I told them that Ive been a customer for 5 years, have four lines on one account and two on another, I always pay months in advance and that I demanded to speak with the owner. I felt I deserved some form of compensation for the entire fiasco that I went through. When he refused to let me speak to the owner again, I said that either I get what I paid for or I would contact my credit card company. At that point he said that he was going to completely terminate my account because I threatened him with a chargeback. At this point, a family member stepped in and grabbed the phone. They were finally able to get them to post the money to the account, without having to drive an hour to sign anything. Why they couldnt have just done that in the first place a week ago is beyond reason.Stay far away from these two stores. The owner doesnt take responsibility for his stores actions and the staff are unprofessional and imbecilic.
