By far the worst C-store I have ever been to, empty shelves, nobody to stock them with plenty of product on hand. Slow service beyond belief from Paul who is clearly stoned. I will never shop there again, you should do the same.
Rude Manager.
Just heard on the news about a attempted robbery. Did I get this right. You fired an employee who protected him self with a weapon rather than being hit with a hatchet. What the heck is wrong with this president. If it was his kids or wife who protected himself would not be a problem right. What an absolute fool. Will never ever do business here. Horrible not to stand behind your employee. Your what’s wrong with AMERICA today! Should boycott this place!!!
Great experience, and good people. I like the neighborhood feel.
This employee saved lives and was calm about it. You want him to hold a conversation with an unreasonable person. Hoping this armed robber will take kind, de-escalation techniques to heart and just leave?
At approximately 10:30 p.m. I came in to Plaid #17 @ 10th & Maple. I purchased 2 items. One was a money order. The weather was dark & raining, so I began to fill out the money order. The female clerk who had just started her shift falsely accused me of loitering & said I had to leave.Im in a wheelchair, was totally sober, not in anyones way & not bothering anyone.I hope she was on her cycle, because if she is always like that; she has no business in customer service. In the stores defense, all other employees have always been helpful & friendly.I just hope they fire her soon. Ive had the displeasure of being served by her before & her attitude has always been the same. Very bad.
Had a very poor experience with the owner of a few local chains. They were very cold and snippy with me when they happened to be in the locations that I visited. I tried contacting corporate a few times about this issue, but they hung up on me halfway through my complaint the first time and seemed very disinterested the second time. I havent heard back at all in almost a month now, so I dont think they actually care about me as a customer at all. Very disappointed, will be avoiding the brand altogether from this point on.
Fired an employee for protecting their store and his life. Bad business right there!
Plaid pantry #22 . Employee was totally disrespectful to me and my wife for no reason. Customer for 18 years at this location. Not a person to have in customer service, seems like she may me may be a drug addict. May 9th swing shift.
Store #100 location: se milwaukie ave and Knapp street, Portland Or.So after making a complaint to corporate offices in beaverton about a week and a half ago, concerning Kristy the graveyard clerk, I thought they would address the issues mentioned and considered the matter handled. Unfortunately it wasnt. At a little after 0500 am this morning, I visited store #100. I walked in, began gathering items for purchasing and within 3 minutes Kristy the clerk shouted at me and said, my manager will be here at 0600 am. I asked politely, why is that important? Is there something that I dont know? I was never told by anyone I couldnt shop here when you were present! She did not respond. So I quickly concluded my selection of items and brought them to the counter. It took her 3 minutes to slowly come to the register and then began to put things away and organize behind the register table for a few more moments ignoring me. Then she looked at me with a Grimace seeing on friendly smile and asked if I would like a pack of cigarettes Camel Crush in the dark green the ones on sale for $0.50 off. She then began to pick things up item by item holding them like youre holding up something that smells or a piece of animal feces and then proceeded to drop them on the counter. Then she asked me for my ID and I asked her why and she told me Im supposed to ID everyone for cigarette purchasing I asked in amazement Ive been coming in here for years and years and you have never asked me for ID up until now. She said well thats my job and I said thats harassment that is blatant harassment I havent left my wallet in the car so I said take the cigarettes off if thats how its going to be and she responded I refuse to sell you anything and I responded fine okay and then she said well go ahead Ill do it just this one time. This is gone beyond ridiculous if corporate or her manager or the district manager or the regional manager or the person that sits at the Top Gear Beaverton does not see that she is not an asset to your company she has a detriment to your company bad news travels much faster like a wildfire than good news unfortunately in this country thats how it works thats the reverse effect of capitalism working against itself so he fixed the problem fire her couldnt be more clear it could not be more clear as an employer to employee or somebody like that. She treats the homeless people that stay out there for hours coming in shoplifting right and left her turning a blind eye making them feel welcome smoking with them joking with them and then she picks on a senior citizen the years later hes still there thats beyond my comprehension words fix the problem corporate any questions call me watch the eye in the sky you know who I am just fix the problem
The folks over here keep all the awesome Plaid Pantrys running smoothly !Major props on running the best Minit Mart chain around
Having issues with our constitutional rights, even while defending your store. What a load of bs. Hope your chain of wanna be 7-11 fails.
Imagine being such a redcoat you fire people for protecting your assets and themselves from criminals.
Never coming here again ! The clerk has every right to defend himself !
You do not fire heroes.
