Dont get me wrong, the people here are good. But scanning the QR code for assistance is ridiculous. I understand that there might not be as many people working as normal, but what happened to employees walking around asking, Can I help you? Wish I could give them 0 stars. I was there to buy a TV and no one was around to help me. They were standing around talking to each other. When I went up to the manager she did not seem to care to much. From now on I will be going to a different Best Buy.

Walked in the Bolingbrook store looking to FINALLY buy my big screen tv. Gave them my name at the front and walked to the back to look over options and compare to my research. Walked back forth at least 4 times looking at the selections. Then it dawned on me, no was helping me. So I waited, I truly understand that it could be a while considering the current employment climate. But then 15 minutes turned to 20 and 20 turned to 30. Then I noticed that other folks were being helped while I was being ignored. Ohhhh so thats what were doing here at the Bolingbrook, Illinois Best Buy. No worries, Im NOT going to beg ANY to take my hard earned money!!!So upon existing the store I informed them that I will be taking my business and my measly $2500 somewhere else to purchase a tv... COSTCO, YOURE UP!!!!

Bought a tripod on sale and it ended up being defective with missing pieces so literally 2 days later, tried to exchange it but the price had doubled and was hit with “you will have to pay the full price for it” which seems questionable considering I was sold a defective item in the first place. To then be told, I have to pay the difference (which is twice as much as I originally paid for it) and not even trying to work with me just seems like bad customer service. Also kinda just rude and unfriendly overall.

This experience has caused me to not EVER shop at Best Buy again. I purchased over $4,000 worth of items for my new home but yet I have a brand new tv in the box in my living room waiting to be installed. 1st the associate sold me a tv that doesnt work with my tv service. I only found this out after it was delivered and installed which was done by the GeekSquad and very professional I went to the store to exchange and had to wait 2 weeks for another delivery. On the day of delivery a 3rd party delivery man no GeekSquad member immediately came in my house stating there was a problem with my order and he would not be able to install the tv.. WHAT?? picked up the old tv which I had to unmount myself and left the new tv in the middle of my floor and said someone will call me later to schedule the install. I thought that was what that was supposed to be but whatever. This experience has left me so frustrated as I still have no tv to watch until someone can get back with me and reschedule a install. NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE FROM BEST BUY

Couldnt find anybody to help me in Bolingbrook store. An older men from geek squad costumer trying to help me with my cell phone problem which I purchased 8 days ago tried to help but didnt fix the problem. The rest of the staff are only helping those who were buying or looking to purchase something. And ignored me and wanted me to comeback for apps. The next day. I will not buy anything in this branch of best buy store. Ways has an issue with costumer service unless you are buying something. I have to go somewhere less if I need something g from best buy.. they need to jire skilled workers and people that has costumers service attitude.

Bolingbrook best buy is really going down hill customer service wise. I went to check out some security cameras and doorbell cameras. I was looking around for about an hour before deciding and not a single employee approached me to ask me if I needed help. I then started pulling up Google so I could look at the difference between a few things so another half hour went by and still was not approached even when an employee came to put something on the shelf right next me he didnt say a word. Its a good thing I had done my research before going in. But i wish I didnt want these today because I would have taken my money else where

Would give half star if was option...Im commenting on my wifes yelp to say customer service was not the greatest on a Wednesday afternoon ..was asked if I needed help on entry which was no..but when I did have questions the first associate I asked said he would get help then I asked another who said he would add my name to a list??? When I decided to walk out both were at the front entrance apparently not in tune with the customer because neither asked if I was good...and apparently forgot I just requested assistance...change that to no star..

The front associate asked me right as I came in if I needed an associate to help me. It actually got me out of my hyperfocused state enough to actually ask for help. Normally, I just walk in and run to the areas I think things are because I dont want to bug anyone. This was very nice thing to do and made me feel better about asking where something was.

The tail of 2 opposite experiences. Our in store experience at Bolingbrook was generally positive from an in store customer service experience perspective; the sales representatives were generally helpful in store and provided us with decent service from a product knowledge and scheduling perspective. The up selling was expected. Even when we needed to visit said store to reschedule products and services it was ultimately satisfactory if sometimes clumsy. Our major issues(yes plural), will ultimately drive us to never shop at BestBuy or use their services again(including geek squad). I only hope they take this feedback on and address their customer service experience, or in our case lack there of. I’m in the industry of understanding the importance of positive customer experiences so I genuinely offer our feedback as a challenge to improve. So; 1. Is the fact that a) we paid handsomely for the annual “geek squad” and were promised our new oven, washing machine and dryer (all totaling many thousands)would be installed efficiently and effectively with fully certified electricians to complete the installations. While scheduled efficiently, This did not happen; they reneged on installing the oven altogether saying they were not certified electricians(through we were promised the same) …it currently sits in our garage. The washing machine and dryer were installed; the dryer door was damaged and the installer said someone else needed to do the door opening direction changes for extra( we have found out that this should have happened)The dryer exhaust is not flexible and the bestbuy exhaust is rigid and means the dryer sticks out and extra 5 inches; a nightmare in a small laundry; To add insult to injury we gave a tip, being new to the US; we were a little ignorant of protocol. We will not make mistake again and put it down to cultural inexperience! 2. is the subsequent telephone customer service; in between the intervening visits and since our last visit; it has been awful and maddening in equal measure; being passed from dept to dept; on hold for ever; calls being cut off and hour into engagement….having to start over and over again….we are now a week into our attempts to get things rescheduled…still no success….Bestbuy this must get better….it is woeful…..from very disappointed and shocked customers…..never again.

Theyve done a great job adapting to our new pandemic-influenced world. You can buy items in the app and have them reserved for you or do curbside pickup. For larger things I like getting them from Best Buy even over Amazon.

I went to this Best Buy to shop for a big screen TV. I should have left after the first impression I got when I walked in. You had to get past the associate at the door who asked why I was there. I said to shop. They asked for what. Well, I was there to shop for a TV, but I also wanted to just look around, maybe buy a couple of other things. Apparently, you cant just do that anymore at Best Buy. I reiterated that I was there to shop (I didnt think I needed to explain myself) and was given clearance to get in, but was also warned that if I needed assistance, I would need to come back up to the front to request a salesperson. By the way, there were blue shirts walking all around the store, not really doing much of anything. The store looks disorganized and there were not many large screens on display. In general, inventory was sparse. The appeal of going to the store is to be able to look at what I wanted to buy. In any case, barely any inventory, so wasnt worth the trip.

Horrible customer service. I came here to buy a TV instead of buying it on Amazon because I wanted it today, as opposed to waiting for one day free prime delivery. I should have just waited the day. The guy trying to get the box in my car said it wouldnt fit, after I saw that the box really just needed a little bit more pressure, but he refused to push on it at all. So they said my only option was delivery. I go inside and wait about 15 minutes for someone to see me, only to tell me that delivery wouldnt be until a week from now. When I said that wasnt acceptable, she threw the receipt back at me and rudely told me that I could just carry the box out of the store on my own. All I said was that waiting a week for the TV to go 5 minutes from the store was unacceptable. I wasnt rude by any stretch of the imagination. So I carried the box out to my car on my own (no assistance from the guy who tried to put it in the car), then I managed to push it right into the car, and drove it home. Next time, Ill just order it on Amazon. Its a wonder this place stays in business.

First no one answers the phones here. I’ve been disrespected by “the mobile manager” A.C who needs to be retrained on talking in a professional manner to customers. Including himself many employees were not wearing name tags. Person at the exit doors was t busy texting on his phone to even acknowledge that people were leaving the store. My first time at this location and it’ll be my last time doing business with Best Buy.

I hadnt been here in a while. Was surprised to see the new layout. I liked it, and at the same time, i kinda didnt. I liked the new aesthetic to the place. Nice, sleek, modern feel. It was just kinda awkward finding my way to the game section to grab a screen protector for my Switch. Just wish they had better signage to guide you around, unless i missed it, which i tend to do. They had a decent selection. I was actually surprised at some of the collectibles and accessories they have. Kinda drove home how long its been since i walked into my local Best Buy.

This sign about recycling anything is a total lie. Tried to recycle a High-Def TV that I purchased at Best Buy years ago and they wouldnt take it. The manager was extremely rude saying that the sign has exclusions, but they cant add those to the sign. I also tried to call before I went there, but no one answered the phone. Here is the kicker... I called the Best Buy in Aurora on Rt 59 and they took the TV, no problem. First they answered the phone when I called, then they customer service person was friendly and took the TV for a $25 recycle fee. Great job Aurora Best Buy. Avoid the Best Buy on Weber and the rude manager. Take down the sign or recycle all electronics as advertised.

About a month or two back I urgently needed a mouse so I went to Best Buy not realizing that with covid you couldnt just go inside and scan aisles like normally, and if I remember correctly you were technically supposed to call ahead or something. But the employee at the door, Dan, was kind enough to run inside and get me a mouse based on the description I gave him of what I was looking for and ring me up outside. It was very hot, but he had a great attitude and was extremely helpful and empathetic.

I went to buy a new refrigerator and found out they do not have them in store. I paid and then drove to their warehouse to pick-up. After about an hour I was loaded. Up to this point they are at 4 stars. Once I arrived home I unwrapped the refrigerator to find a large dent on the left side shaped like an upside down L. I have tried calling ever since but after someone picks up they hang up. I also tried calling the warehouse and 888-best-buy, I was told call the store... Never-ending circle. The store is a hour drive and I wont have another day off until late next week./ Update a week later, warehouse has no more fridge until October so they are sending me one then. I added a star for customer service though it was in person since they dont answer phones.

Make sure you check your own receipts - bought a dam extended warranty the rep messed up and didnt include it on the other receipt - also called in day prior and was LIED TO by stating i have the extended warranty - and when asked to get it emailed rep said no - now I have to call up Whirlpool and setup appointment - thanks Best Buy for screwing another customer over and your reps need to be reeducated. Also delivery and install was nightmare as well but it finally got done.

I think BestBuy is no more kind of BestBuy when you feel betrayed. I will not be using their store card ever and if possible keep arm away from buying anything at BestBuy. Typical best buy- except selection was smaller and inventory was half full on the aisles. Camera aisle was literally 80% empty of stock. I can only assume that some delivery trucks had been delayed... post holiday season shopping, post returns from holidays, and 2 weeks later they must have lost holiday temporary hires...

I have not been to Best buy in a long time. I did get a deal on a remote start system with installation, so I dropped off my car. Staff was courteous and helpful. Manny was my tech, he was very accommodating and finished the work faster than expected. Definitely recommend getting your installs done with him.

I purchased another phone here on 11-12-20 and needed assistance setting it up, which has never been an issue. While the mobile Dept employee was setting up my phone (my first trip in that night) the manager was pushing her to ‘hurry’ and made me leave the store, claiming it would finish connecting when I got home.Upon my arrival home I still could not get the phone to work so I went back. I spoke with the manager, who sent me home again with doing nothing but unlocking my phone. Finally I opted to go to the T-Mobile store where they told me that BestBuy didn’t give me a propper SIM card and the phone wasn’t even hooked up to my carrier.I have been working overtime with COVID and this literally took up my whole night. Never been so disappointed in BestBuy.
