They have a well-stocked garden dept with many varieties from which to choose. I was looking for ornamental tall grasses, for which the had about ten different ones to choose from. Many heights and colors.I bought the unusual Dwarf Zebra Tall Grass that has horizontal yellow lines across all of the leaves. Its about medium height and looks cheerful as it waves in the breeze. I have not seen this one before.The purchasing process was quick and easy at the Garden Center entrance/exit. We used a coupon and it was scanned without a problem.For a big box store, Home Depot offers a nice selection of plants.

The customer service was very unhelpful. I called before I came to make sure a fridge I was interested in was available and was told it was. I bought it online curbside pick up to make sure it did not sell out just to come to the store mind you 35-40 minutes away just to find out it was sold out. Not only was the customer service making me walk from the front of the store to the back again and again because they couldn’t help or the kitchen staff couldn’t help. It was a total waste of time & I did not even get an apology. The only reason it’s getting 1 star from me is because I can’t give it 0.

I had an old bath faucet that was dripping, but could not identify the faucet mfr. or model #. Jeff in the plumbing section was fantastic - he kept working until he had taken the faucet apart and then visually matched up the correct cartridge that we needed. Thanks!!

1 star is for the convenience of being close by.1st time at this store and I will go out of my way to never come back. No one wants to help, they were openly disdainful of me seeking assistance, actively worked to not make eye contact or see if I need anything when I was looking baffled in the power tool aisles for 20 minutes... Clearly no ownership for their own conduct or work. You work in retail...customers are a major part of the job. Dont like it then dont work in retail.

Had everything I needed, everything was easy to find, sire was kind of crowded but not with people but things all over. Could tidy up a bit.

A couple of days ago, my son and I went to their tool rental section to rent a laser level. Theres a guy with glasses told me and my son to wear masks. I told him that were fully vaccinated but the guy told me its a new mandate from the government stating August 1, 2021 and he gave us masks. So we had to wear masks to look for tools.After that I went to a local Menards and asked an associate about the mask situation. The person told me customers are not required to wear masks if fully vaccinated and only employees should wear masks. Were all in COVID and Id like to comply if mask is required. However, the guy at Home Depot gave me a false information that forced us wear masks while shopping. This is not right!

Had an unpleasant experience with a manager at this Bolingbrook location, they decided not to honor the decision of the manager who approved the discounted cost of merchandise that was according to them being shipped out, only after i tried getting it from this store,mind you both Managers seemed to be short tempered, rude and unprofessional!Moving forward i will never do business with Home Depot ever again!! Its personal like them,that makescustomer go to other home stores for their needs.By the way the one rude and unprofessional manager is Ms, Shelvy and had the nerve to profile me suggesting that I made my prior purchase in Chicago, Really, you know nothing about where Im from or were Ive been. A rental store is in this one. Nice bonus. Renting a snake to unclog kitchen sink. They have lawn care goods along with hike digging augger. But if you been in one they are all pretty much the same. Need fence post to shower rods, shelves, nuts and bolts, cleaning supplies.

Clean store, easy to find products. Plenty of staff were available for questions but I knew what I needed. So they did not hover over me while I was browsing, which I really like.

The Bolingbrook Home Depot is great. At every turn theres someone available to help. Most of the times Ive gone to this location, theres hardly any wait in the lumber area if Im trying to get some lumber cut. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful team members.

Ordered an item online for curbside pickup and stopped in the store to get an estimate on when the item would be ready. I only ordered online because I was told over the phone that this was the only way to hold the item before I came in the store. The item happened to be a patio swing for my mother for Mother’s Day. The associate goes to look and after waiting a while I was told that the product was out of stock. Such an inconvenience because I now have to wait 3 days to get the money back on my card and still have to find another gift. $300+ is a big deal for a college student. Such a horrible experience. Had I known this would be my experience I would have just ordered from Amazon and waited. #MothersDayRuined.

I would give zero if it was an option. I ordered a patio set back in March and HD sent me the chairs only, and charged me for the whole set. I have called customer service at least 10 times and there has been no help. I am opening up a fraud case this week against Home Depot because when I did some digging they are doing this to many others.

I am remodeling my house and have to come here several times a week, sometimes even several times a day. Ive been to just about every department at this store. Recently I came to buy some flooring and needed help finding out if they had more of the floor that I was buying in stock. I found a gentleman and he scanned the barcode and said there were 30 boxes, but the shelf only had 18. He said that the lady in charge of the flooring department could help me find them. I searched for that person and couldnt find them. The store seemed deserted.When she finally appeared after 10 minutes of me wandering, she said that sometimes the system has the wrong number. So since I couldnt buy enough of them, I had to drive to another location. The other Home Depot (Naperville) had like 5 people working in flooring and I was able to get the help I needed.

They had what we needed, and helped us find it!

Terrible service. David in the paint department gave us the wrong product. Asked for stain and he gave us paint and primer. Sure glad we caught the mistake before applying it! We went back to the store and he turned his back on us to drink coffee. After saying excuse me he still ignored us and then went to help a customer that came after us. Mistakes happen but at least apologize.

Ordered a lawn tractor online and received the ready for pickup notification. When I arrived, the tractor was not ready and I had to wait another week. The following week, the tractor was not assembled correctly and I had to re-build portions. In addition, the trailer rental charged me for damages without informing me beforehand.

I go to this store chain a lot in many cities due to my job. On multiple occasions I had bad experience with the employees at this location. this is the only location with not friendly employees and not willing to help or even listen to you. And if they do they give you wrong information. They advertise prices that not honoring at the time to put a big order.

Someone always comes to your rescue if you dont know what to look for or are confused about products. The new self-checkouts are fast, easy and talk. Very helpful.

Purchased a dishwasher today from Home Depot in Bolingbrook today. Employee customer service was great however they offer zero discounts for Covid19 nurses. My wife has worked tirelessly for 3 months and gets no benefit from spending her money at this business. Will not buy from Home Depot again.

Someone needs to enforce with the employees that 1: face masks are currently mandatory and 2: masks must be worn properly (covering mouth and nose).

Wow wow wow what a great surprise. Did an online order and it said it would be delivered to me the next day. There was a mix up and it now said it was being delivered 7 days later. I had the landscapers there and they needed the product. Online help contacted the store and they brought it out an hour or two later! Now that’s going above and beyond. I’m not sure who the store manager is or who delivered it but I thank all of you. Truly first class.

Matt was cursing at us because their website had the wrong price up. I literally had to stop him and tell him not to talk like that in front of women. I asked him if he was the manager and he said yes so I then proceeded to say this is how you talk in front of your employees?! and he just walked away and said figure it out yourself. luckily an employee saw how horrible the manager treated us and matched the price online. I cannot believe Matt as a manager would talk to customers like this in front of employees. Not to mention we drove out of our way to come to this store. even the employee was like im sorry it should not have been this hard.... Really unbelievable.

Home Depot is usually good, and provides useful advice. My last visit I went in to the rental desk, and the guy at the rental desk was openly rude. He was sitting in a corner somewhat out of sight, and I stood there at the counter like a mope, calling him to help me. Finally he got up and took a step towards me, but he was clearly not happy about it.Quite honestly I will now be shopping at Lowes a block south. Sorry guys, I can spend my money where they are at least friendly.

Covid-19 addition. Went to this store to purchase paint and a new drill. Their employees barely wear masks. They cover their mouths but leave their noses exposed or they dangle the masks on their chins. If you are part of a high risk group, live with someone whos in a high risk group or ever plan to visit someone in a high risk group Id shop somewhere else. If Illinois ever has a new covid-19 outbreak I expect it to come from this store.

This home Depot has friendly and helpful staff. When you purchase large pieces of wood or board, they have a saw that can cut pieces to your specifications, so that transporting the material is easier. They also have a kiosk to shop for appliances, which lets you filter by brand, type and a variety of other options. The prices are good and they have quality products. The financing options for big ticket items allows you get you what, while paying the balance monthly

Although sometimes when its busy its hard to find someone to help you the quality of the material is all excellent. Their tool selection is above-average. And the prices are reasonable for what you get. If you catch a sale on vanities or kitchen cabinets you would do well to stock up if you are in the market. Much prefer this place over the competition. I do a lot of gut rehabs and everything from copper tubing to wrenches seems to be of better quality than the other guys.

Lousy service. Turn your merchandise somewhere else still waiting for 30 minutes. Have people just standing around having conversations but wouldnt help to return my items. Ive gone to many home depots and Ive never had an issue like this.

I was totally impressed with the people and staff there I walked in with a picture on my phone of an internet deal nobody at heard of they .they not only honored it but Kathleen one of the cashiers spent at least 20 minutes trying to find what I was looking for.And I believe she worked clean through her break to help me it was very nice of Her.

It is a well organized home improvement store with very helpful staff. And if you cant find one of them to help you find an item, then try their website, it can tell you the aisle where the item is located in the store, terrific solution to a common issue I have at these huge stores, I which they all would do that. Unfortunately I didnt get anything here, I was looking for treated timber and the quality of the merchandise was as poor as at other places for a lower price.

I went to the Bolingbrook store to buy a specific item I could not find at the Naperville store. I went into the store and was greeted by Kathleen at the Pro-desk. She was able to find the item I needed and took me to where it was located. I think if more stores had employees like Kathleen Home Depot would have more business. Kathleen was professional and knew exactly where the product I needed was. I can’t say enough about her other than to say to the store director, give this woman a raise!Martin T
