This location has all the newest tech for your eye exam and the people are super friendly. I really like it. Last year I tried a discount chain across the street and was really unhappy (with the prescription), so I came back to get a corrected (much more precise) prescription. They also have a great selection of glasses.

Been coming here for a few years, always been decent. Last visit went off the rails somewhere. Was supposed to have an yearly exam for contacts as ive done every year that ive come here. Somehow my informing them of needing more contacts and needing to renew my contact script was received as an exam for glasses. I now need to go for another exam and additional expense of another exam. Make sure they understand what you’re there for.

I had an appointment on a very busy day. This location can get pretty busy. The team was short staffed but everyone was soo nice and professional. The doctor made me feel comfortable. A special recognition for the manager and office staff, they were all amazing and worked seamlessly as a team. Ill keep coming back.

Dr. Kelly is professional, knowledgeable and thorough. He explained everything to me, patiently answered my questions and provided a better option for contact lenses. It was a pleasure to be greeted by Kacie, she did all my initial testing and imaging, she was professional and explained each test. Shamira, is a gem. She looked at all the options available to me to get me the styles I wanted at a financial saving; kept me informed at each step as to prices and availability in the lab and in store, and showed me how to use the Google review.

I literally called on the phone today at 5:30pm ( to verify if they accept my insurance: United Healthcare; Choice Plus) and the ignorant employee who responded to me over the phone said “yes” only to find out through another employee that they do NOT just after I tried on a bunch of glasses and was ready to purchase a pair. Who ever manages this store needs to emphasize to their employees how important memorization of ACCEPTED plans is and how False verbiage leads to WASTED TIME AND ENERGY for customers that are now unhappy.

This is a very customer friendly location. Had a pair of Prada Sunglasses which were missing a screw and even Sunglass Hut, from where I bought them, could not fix them. Uzair, at the Lens Crafters was very helpful and not only did he fix my sunglasses, did not charge me anything. We will definitely be coming to this location for our sons lens in future. Thank you Lens Crafters for a great annual eye exam and experience. I recently switched back to Lens Crafters and this Bolingbrook Promenade location is excellent. They had a great selection on frames so I was able to get a new pair of glasses and sunglasses. But, it was the customer service and people that made my visit so positive! Thank you to Cindy who did my initial exams, Dr. Beverly Lezondra who was so kind and thorough, and Shamira who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable! I am so happy to have found this location!

I was charged twice on my debit card and cannot get this resolved $503.92 was charged twice ! When it happened they told me don’t worry it will drop off in next few days . It’s been a month !! I have called store manager ( Joan ) and also the customer service number . Neither of them have been able to help me . This is stealing from a customer at its best . I will not be back to this location . If they were a good company they would just have me walk in store and credit my card back.

I came in with a prescription for new glasses and contacts. The girls were extremely helpful helping me pick out glasses finding the best shape for me. Shamira was very professional and quick to take care of me. I have been going to this Lenscrafters for years and know that I will get great service and the location is convenient for me.

Shamira was so helpful and kind! The front staff are all super friendly and attentive. They also have customers keep the glasses they try on in a tray so the staff can clean them before other customers try them on. Dr. Kelly was great at answering my questions, even though I usually see Dr. Osbloom who is also fantastic. Really happy with my experience every time I come in to LensCrafters as my family and I have been coming here for about 3 years now and I often recommend this location to friends!

Tamara was the woman who assisted me. I loved her. She was knowledgeable about your products. Informed me about discounts and sales promotions. Took her time with fitting me with both eye glasses and because of the promotion sun glasses. Im excited to pick them up in approximately 2 weeks.

Im not getting any glasses made there again!!! I have given them multiple opportunities and there has disappointment than contentment from their glasses. The doctor is great so never have any issues with that. But some of the staff don’t know what theyre doing. They tell you what you want to hear then you go pick up your glasses and theyre not what you asked for and what they said there were going to do.

This place seems pretty terribly run, and the quality of the glasses we bought is awful. Within a handful of months weve had to replace the same glasses twice because the frame cracked. All three times weve been here weve had to wait sooooo long and it seems like the employees (all really friendly) are stretched way too thin. Time to find a new eye doctor, but Im pretty sure well be back in another month or so to have the frames replaced again. 🙄

I went in with my parents a couple of weeks ago because they both needed new glasses. Although the staff was polite, they weren’t really helpful. We picked up my moms glasses and when she put them on they weren’t at all what she expected. She was still having trouble seeing and when we let the staff know... they said we had to come back for an exam. We made an appointment for the exam, they called us later and cancelled the appointment. Ridiculous. Then my mother went in and they did no exam but tried charging her nearly $200 for new glasses (she had already paid for the ones she couldn’t see out of)... it’s disappointing to waste so much time with this company. I will make sure to never do business with lenscrafters again.

Unhelpful and ill-informed staff.Bad prices.Non-responsive customer service.I had an eye exam in September 2017 and ordered contact lenses in October 2017. Due to an insurance requirement, I had to pay the September visit out-of-pocket and apply for a refund once contacts were purchased in October. The LensCrafters staff were polite and assured me that they will process the refund with no more action on my part. This was incorrect (strike one).After repeated attempts over multiple business days to contact their office, I received a call back from someone knowledgeable from their team. Over the phone, we straightened out all charges and I could finally pick up my contacts. The worker kindly reminded me to fill out the $50 rebate form as soon as I pick up my order.It was not a busy time when I picked up my contacts. They saw to me quickly and efficiently, though very unprofessionally. Two workers behind the counter were talking and giggling to each other, oblivious to the needs of the customers (strike two). A third worker stopped their current task to see to me. I was provided my contacts and again reminded to fill out the $50 rebate form.I fill out and send what I have repeatedly been told was a $50 rebate form to receive a $40 VISA card with a $3.00 monthly card maintenance fee. This is not the $50 value I was told I would receive (Strike three).Over the next month I repeatedly reach out to them to get a straight answer why they verbally advertised $50 at every instant only to be provided $40. Nobody has responded to any of my messages, thus this post.LensCrafters, you lost yet another customer.

Worst service ever by the doctor! My appointment was a 6 pm. I walk in the door 10 mins before my appointment. My pre test are done by 6:05. I sit in the waiting area where I can see another customer walk in the door at 6:08 pm. Doctor takes her before me. The store associate that did my pretest apologizes for delay and says the customer before me would be a quick contact fit check. At 6:35 pm doctor comes out and is socializing with employees not considering or valuing my time! At 6:40 I apologize to store associate and explain I will have to reschedule as I have small children at home so I’m limited on time. Associate apologizes again and says doctor ready is ready for me. Doctor offers a pathetic apology saying that they try their best to see everyone as fast as they can - oh really! Doctor continues to say that person prior was a different type of visit than mine! Making excuses! I politely answered that it was a bit upsetting to see that a person that arrived 15 mins before me was taken care of sooner! I explained that I had been in the office for 40-50 mins before I was seen. I explained that appointment was at 6 not 6:30 or 7. Doctor only kept defending her actions and acting like it is normal! My time is valuable! So I thanked her for her time and explained it wasn’t going to work out and left! The worst is that i drop nearly $3000 each year for my entire family eye needs for the last 6 years! Guess I will be taking my business else where!

I asked them 3 times to ship to my school address when I was there for my appointment and all times they said yes they will ship it to my school address. Week later got a phone number from my sister saying my contacts came in. They shipped it home! My school is two hours away. Called them and they said my sister needs to ship them to me. I was upset because they messed up and they didnt even try to fix it.

Dr. Ostbloom is fantastic. She makes me very comfortable and is super informative. Shamira assisted me with my frames and was personable and amazingly helpful in finding frames that looked good on me. Its a great experience all around at this location.
