I’m 46 years old and never experienced a worst eye exam and experience. The first session was pre Covid and over booked. They hardly had time to speak to me. The doctor seen me and I had to wait for someone to be available to order glasses. Lady asked if I picked a lens. Then says my 1.75 eyes would be perfect for this lens. I explained that I’m a 3.75 and need bifocals for the first time. The lady argued that I was wrong. Little did she know that she was holding the wrong chart. Waited for forever, decided to get my eye exam results (that I believe went off of doctors memory and she didn’t write it down) and took my prescription to zenni to order new frames. I still needed a contact eye exam, Covid happened and I waited a few months to go back. The original doctor was sick and I was told that no one would help me because my exam fee went to the doctor who originally seen me and no one could help me. The original doctor asked what was wrong with my contacts and I explained I couldn’t see good. She asked me why. Do I need weaker or stronger? She expected me to answer this over the phone🤣 I said since I was in 8th grade I have a proper eye exam after contacts and they tell me why I can’t see properly and for me for new ones. Over a month later they decided that a back up doctor was so kind to help me🙄 I went to see the back up doctor and was told that she dealt with another patient that was difficult and had issues like me. What?!?! She told me I could see fine and I can’t read the large numbers that are 2 feet tall in the check out lanes at Maijer. She offered to try a stronger lens to help me see. I went to pick up the stronger lens and they were weaker. I called and was told I have to come in again to see the doctor. No way!! I’ll take my prescription and contact that don’t work and wait until I can get a proper exam somewhere else. Warning... don’t go here!!! Go to a place with a good eye doctor and order glasses online. Save hundreds and the hassle from the above. In over 34 years, I never had an experience this bad.
