On May 22nd, I raced in for a gift for my niece who is an artist, and has high standards for clean and cruelty free products. Tony was immensely helpful and quickly guided me. She actually came out from behind the counter to show me her recommended choices rather than just point to an aisle as would be most commonly done. She was extraordinary and went above and beyond. I had questions and she answered calmly and did not rush me. She had information about the products and even indicated minority ownership as a plus. I never even thought to ask about that but we want to support Black business owners and entrepreneurs. I was so impressed she offered me additional information. My niece loved the gifts. I would never have known without Tonys help. Thank you.

I wanted to buy pallets that had a sale on them. I picked them up and was told by a worker that the sale had ended today and its only 4:51. Those tags should have been removed before they opened the doors. It hadnt just ended mid shift. Being a former employee at that very location I just wanted to say if you made a mistake maybe own up to it rather than lie to the customer and remove stickers after I had already grabbed some.

Bought some hair primer that helps with u V heat protection against the Heat outside and heat protection against you getting your hair blow-dried and curled or flat iron love the product. Great customer service as well

I got a Lancôme foundation there and the lady there was nice enough to let me know that a free full sized concealer came with it! The service is incredible! She also said I could the return the items for a different shade if the initial one did not fit. Please note that they do not allow swatches anymore due to the virus.

I don’t like make up that much but they make me wanna get one especially at this location. They’re friendly and helpful! I don’t know anything about make up but they educate me while I shop and learn more about make up. I love it!

I was greeted when I came in. And when I asked for help the associate was very nice. And showed me a few things. I even had a nice conversation with her and another associate.

I went to this Ulta this week and was surprised at the level of service I received from the Lancome representative Ruby. I went in just for a perfume and left with over three hundred dollars in products. Ruby was so professional and knowledgeable about all the Lancome line. Definitely will be going back to this Ulta from now on.

I lOvEe Ulta as I always have but I was just soooo sad that I couldnt touch the make-up because of Covid-19 😒🙄🙄... they still had everything I wanted and it wasnt even as crowded as it would have normally been so I half enjoyed my trip lol. Ill be back soon enough though.

Love going to this Ulta, I wont go to any other! The Stacia is super helpful and was able to find me a skin product that works flawlessly on my face. I have extremely dry skin and the product she offered me works wonders. Like I said, I wont got to any other Ulta!

Honestly I always come to this location and the staff is always so nice and helpful until today. I was looking for something specific and one of the associates came up to me and asked if I needed help and I told her what I needed. Not only did she look miserable, but she literally told me to look for it myself! I’m sorry what? Why did you ask if I needed help if that’s what your response was going to be. She was extremely rude.

Had to return and exchange a few things. It’s so awesome you can bring in online purchases and exchange and return in store. Cassidy helped me she was awesome. Fastest I’ve ever gotten in and out and I got exactly what I wanted. I’ve been an Ulta customer since they began and this store is truly one of the best around. Always helpful knowledgeable and professional.

Asked for help and was not helped. I was sent to get help from another employee and was ignored the whole time (by both workers). The personal conversations that they were having was more important then helping a guest. I thought in customer service youre supposed to stop what youre doing to help a guest? Guess I will go to the Joliet location instead.

I like the product and when they have great sales. Not to happy with customer service tho... 3 women walked past me and didnt ask if I needed any kind of help and i actually did! I couldnt find it so I just went and checked out. The cashier was very nice.

There could be more focus on floor being clean and neat, but with how many people come in and touch everything, its no surprise. Great makeup store! Has all you need!

I have pretty bad Rosacea and went in to purchase some foundation to cover it up. I normally wear absolutely no makeup because of it. But I must say Griselda was amazing. Not only was she extremely familiar with Rosacea but she new exactly what products would help me. She used each product on my face and explained what is in them and what they do. My face felt and looked amazing. I bought all of them. It’s not fun feeling like everyone is always starting at me and embarrassed to go out. Now I’m excited to start wearing makeup again.THANK YOU GRISELDA!!!!!!!!

I liked the selection but no one offered to help find what I actually needed. Due to the amount of products in the store it would have been nice for an employee to offer assistance. Its a nice, clean and in a great location but customer service could be better.

I had a good experience at this ulta. Someone helped me find a shade of foundation and that was great. Unfortunately the foundation gave me little red bumps but they let me return it! No hassel which was nice. So I am going back to my normal foundatio, which I also buy at ulta.

Visited the salon for a hair cut. Sasha was wonderful. I dont usually visit hair salons for a lot of reasons, but this one was fantastic. Quick and polite service, no pushing for products at all, and Sasha cut and treated my hair perfectly. Was pleasantly surprised.

Racists. Point blank period!! Today was my first time comimg there and there was a very sweet girl with purple hair that helped us get the product we were looking for. The other employees were rudeIgnored us asking for help until she came along. A 15 min trip turned into an hour. I thought i was in a scene from the movie GET OUT! I expressed my concerns to the manager she was kind and did give us great discounts and free samples but nobody should ever be treated like that. The blond at the front she was the worse out of several!! I dont feel comfortable going to the store again. I gave 3 stars because of the wonderful girl with the purple hair and all the savings received from manager. The pretty girl with the purple hair.

It was a quick visit to purchase a specific foundation. Service was friendly, but check out took too long. Should find better location for clearance racks near the checkout registers.

As an attorney i have had my credit ruined by this company under the guise and in conjunction with Comenity National Bank. Despite the return of two products they have charged me under their credit card over $277 dollars for a return I made. The product cost. $33.Iam. filing with IRS today.

Rating this place as if I were a makeup wearing individual. Large, bright, expensive, but high quality ULTA makeup. Lots of selection. My wife said she loves it but still easier to just order online. Staff were very friendly

Where do I even begin?? I had an awful experience at another location and decided that bolingbrook might be further away,but it is worth the shot. Each time I come here I am greeted warmly and asked if I need some help at least 5 times. Whenever I do need help, the ladies are always very knowledgeable and professional. I got foundation matched and it was the perfect shade. Recently I went in because I was in a hair emergency and I have an appointment set, but I wanted to comment on the amazing service I received from Samantha who helped me schedule an appointment. She reassured me that my hair would get fixed and she was unable to find a coupon, but she kept searching for me and called me later to let me know that she was able to find something. She also let me know all the steps that they would need to take to give me my dream hair color. That to me was going way above and beyond and I am super grateful! I am now super excited to see how my hair turns out. Yay!

Came in this evening and I must say I should file a case for racism. The moment I came up to the front registers the white women refused to ring me up and took the lady that was also white behind me even tho I was first. This is why Sephora is ahead of Ulta. I can’t believe this place endorses this kind of behavior.

Ed was very helpful in helping me find a new eyeliner since Ulta does not carry the tatto liner I usually use. I have had sensitivities to eye liners and mascaras in the past so he showed me some hypoallergenic options and when I asked after a mascara he showed me the one he uses. Both were exactly what I was looking for to replace what I usually use. He was very friendly and inviting. Looks like Im going to Ulta not Sephora from now on.

I came in to this Ulta a few times to get my brows done. I could only get appointments with Ashley. I cannot even begin to describe how unprofessional she was. The first time I went there, I got there while she was on her lunch break, so I thought it wasnt a big deal. When she came in, she asked me to sit down while she finished her lunch. No big deal, right? She came back, asked me to sit at a different station, then disappeared again for another 20 minutes. Came back asked me to switch stations again, then finally started working on my brows. I asked her to make them thinner than what they were and make more of a curve. she refused saying it wouldnt fit my face. I figured she knew what she was talking about since she has a license and everything, so I let her do what she felt was appropriate. Guess what? I was sitting there for an hour letting her wax my brows and when she finished, they looked exactly the same! What she was waxing for that hour, I dont know. I thought she might have been having an off day so i didnt get mad. So I went to a different place to get them done how I wanted.I came in again the next month (Its the closest one to my house) and she did the exact same thing. Made me wait another half hour at the station, moved me, disappeared again, for 20 minutes Didnt do my brows right. So I decided not to get my brows done there anymore. Maybe Im missing something, but at other Ultas, Im seated at the Brow bar right away, and they begin working right away, and DO MY BROWS HOW I WANT.TL;DR Ashley at the Brow bar is incredibly unprofessional! And rude!

I almost never get my hair done (I maybe get it cut once every year), but I have really been wanting to lighten my hair for months and I finally decided to splurge and spend the money on it. I had gotten my hair cut elsewhere a couple days before and hated both the cut and the experience so I decided to try Ulta based on a friends suggestion. It was SO worth the extra money. CORTNEY IS AWESOME! I came in not exactly knowing what I wanted, just that I wanted it lighter. She took the idea and ran with it and suggested a balayage, which ended up being perfect for me! Not only was it perfect, but the whole experience was so enjoyable because Cortney is clearly incredibly passionate. She kept talking about how much she loves doing balayages and raving to both me and the other stylists about how good it looked even before she had finished, which made me feel so positive before I could even see it. She was even able to fix the cut I had gotten previously, even though all I could really tell her was that it didnt FEEL right. She somehow knew exactly how to fix it! My only regret is not leaving a larger tip (again, I never get my hair done so I had to calculate the tip really quickly at the checkout and I think she deserved much more than I gave her)... but I will definitely go back to Cortney the next time I am in town and I will make sure to do so!

Wanted to take my mother shopping for her birthday gift, I already knew one of the items I was going to purchase which was the peach pallet, they did not have a display out so I asked a woman if they had an open one for us to see. Without checking she said no, another lady walked up and said they did have one out for display, and kindly gave it to me. After that my mother started browsing the store for her gifts the same lady who said no to us stayed in the area and made it extremely noticeable that she was watching us. I made eye contact with her a few times she was not discreet about it. She continue to hang around not doing anything. It made my mother and I uncomfortable so we ended up just purchasing the peach pallet and leaving the store. We had every intension to spend a lot of money at that location but I will not be returning to an ulta. I did speak to the manager about it because I did feel discriminated. I have worked retail before so I understand how it is. I felt like this woman made it her priority to make sure my mother and I did not steal anything.

Rude sales associates at this store. Will not give out samples so I can try out a face wash before I buy it and sales associates got an attitude when asked. I wandered around for ten minutes trying to find what I was looking for and not once was I asked if I needed any help. Once I finally got to the display which was hidden they had a very limited selection even though their website said this store carried the brand and the product I was looking for was not online only. I will never return to this or any other Ulta store again.

Employees are rude. They talk about every customer in front of other customers. If they dont like their job then why work there? When you ask something about a product they give you attitude & they dont even know anything about what theyre selling (makeup). I hate going to this ulta, stopped going after Ive witnessed all this.
