Updated rating to reflect multiple poor experiences with less than helpful staff. Had to revisit because I was sold the wrong gift card only to be sold more than I needed claiming a false minimum charge. The location is large with a lot of games, and gaming equipment.

Havent shopped at GameStop in a while, so maybe this is standard, but it honestly felt like the people here would straight up lie to you to try and force you into some ridiculous upsell (like a bundle that is worth less than the sum of its parts). I was also shamed for turning down their outrageously priced warranties. Ill just be shopping online from now on.

I used to have no problem with the place, but now they charge you the $3 insurance fee without even asking you. Very scummy, especially when GameStop already has a reputation for ripping people off. Definitely will not be going back.

So many customers were not wearing face coverings (properly) and neither were they respecting social distance, but the staff did/said nothing about it despite the claimed guidelines for in-store shopping. I paid for my pre-order of Final Fantasy 7 Remake and then the pandemic struck. I was glad when GS finally closed all their stores, even after trying to get labeled an essential business, but I wanted the game I paid for. It was shipping out of other places, and GS sent an email saying theyd get in touch about setting up delivery.That never happened, despite me being a pro member (which means my address is on file). Ive been asking to get a refund in online credit, but they keep giving me the run around. The number for the store is a general automated message, so I have no way of knowing if the location is even open without physically going.GS customer support has given me no help, claiming it has to be handled in the original store. Its not even a return (to them), because I never got anything! Well, other than an apology for inconvenience, but PS4 doesnt support that file format.

One of the employees here was the best ever. He helped my 6 year old with every random question he had with no frustration. I applaud this guy. Wish I remembered his name. Im sure with one visit he would stand out to you as he did to me.

All around friendly employees that help people I go in there all the time to buy games for my son that is disabled and all your employees are so helpful because I don’t know anything about games very knowledgeable employees would recommend anybody to go in there very kind people

Visited here twice during the early evening and there was a single staff member attempting to service a line of people both times. The guy looked stressed out and I got the feeling that this is the norm for this location. Several times he had to walk to the back room to retrieve items for customers. I wound up missing a train because I had pre-ordered an item and the simple process of picking it up took nearly 25 minutes. Not the staff members fault. Management need to add coverage to fit the needs of the business.

This Gamestop has the worst customer service. Not only that they add on the $3 game warranty to every sale without asking you to build up their numbers. And when confronted they don’t do anything about it. They are terrible and don’t even know how to reprint their own receipts that they try to hide the things they add onto your sale without asking. This has happened over 3-4 times and all of their employees and management are all shady. I highly suggest not to come here and they should be reported to their own HR.

I’ve been calling literally for the past couple of days to find out if the new PS4 controllers are in stock because I reserved two of the new ones earlier in September no one seems to be picking up the phone for some odd reason so I don’t know what’s going on it’s not like it’s a Saturday when it’s crazy busy this is on a Tuesday anyway hopefully this gets resolved because I’m a paying customer and love GameStop thank you

Came here yesterday night and the employees were very kind . One gentleman in particular helped me choose a game and kept me from debating for a century by myself lol. In the end his recommendation was excellent! I’m very thankful !

One of the few remaining places to buy video games, put down money to reserve copies and buy nerd merch. Check out is pretty fast. Employees are helpful and knowledgeable.

The place was great cant complain service was great, selection was on point, knowledge from workers was helpful, great atmosphere & love GameStop. I could spend all day in there seriously. I wish there was a larger Xbox 360 selection but thats my only issue. I miss working at GameStop best job ever hands down.

Stock/selection was very poor. Didnt feel compelled to buy anything. The sales representative who I asked if they had a certain game in stock offered to sell me a digital code or a direct fulfillment. Not sure how that would entice me to want to spend the money right there and then. All and all I think brick and mortar game stores are officially a thing of the past.

This is my worst shopping experience. I booked the game and went to the store. The seller actually said solo out to me but I have full pay. The clerk did not give me a reasonable solution.

My son enjoys shopping for his games here and its great because they have affordable prices on new games. I definitely recommend.

Well-stocked, decent-sized GameStop location. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.To those trying to hit them up during their afternoon rush and being frustrated by lines, I went around 6:30 on a Monday and it was totally fine. When a line formed while I was at the register (it is a downtown video game store, after all), they still took time and care to look everything up for me.

I called about a headset and they assured me it was available. I went to the store and suddenly, it was not available anymore. When I check online, of course it is available in the same store! This is called bad customer service. When I called and you told me the item is available and I said I would be there soon, you were supposed to keep it for me because there was no online payment option. This is one of the reasons GameStop is constantly going out of business. Irresponsible vendors. Not going back. Not recommended.

Good gamestop their game selection is good it always changes from store to store some stores actually do have some hard to find games hidden on the racks. Best part EXCELLENT selection of Gundam Model kits and video game T shirts. Only downside is that lines can get long and sometimes they are short staffed.

One of the best stores in the east coast, it has everything I needed, from old handheld games, to videogame systems and accessories, along with a huge selection of games for all current platforms.

I personally dont like Game Stop for their business practices, but sometimes theres no other choice if I want something and dont want to risk it with delivery. This Game Stop is conveniently located and sells more than just games. You can find toys, plushies, apparel, I think Ive even seen board games!

They were super helpful on something they really did not need to get in so much depth with me about and played with my son.

I called them from 1pm-230pm. No one picked up and the machine will literally hang up on you if no one can get to the phone instead of putting you on hold until the next available employee can take your call. I just got to the store and there was only 2 customers. Just shaking my head at this point.

One of the newer stores in the area. The staff is excellent and usually has a good handle on what theyre talking about when it comes to games. They never over pressure you regarding purchasing warranties or the PowerUp card. Ive never had a problem when needing to return an item there or get assistance locating an item at another store.

Awful service. The girls behind the counter were more interested in visiting with each other than helping the 10+ customers in line waiting to purchase items. After 20 minutes in line we were finally helped by a completely indifferent sales girl, she seemed like we were interrupting her visit with her friends.

I bought a i phone 8 64gb down to gamestop to sell and was shorted 100 dollars. Phone was in perfect condition on line it says it was worth 220 dollars but i only recieved 135 dollars... Um yeah someone needs to explain ...

Pretty good selection of new and used games, and good selection of peripherals. Check out Van be kind of slow if the store is busy but the staff are friendly and know there video games.

I have never experienced slower service in any other store. Line of 4 people took them 20+ minutes to clear.

Anything you buy at this GameStop has a 50/50 chance of being broken. DO NOT buy any refurb hardware here. DO NOT buy any refurb consoles here. It is probably broken. Also engage in conversation with the salespeople at your own risk. Theyll joke with you in bad taste and extend the buying process 10 minutes past what it needs to be. Find a Best Buy.

You can never ask a question about something being in stock without them rolling their eyes or Letting out a sigh. They all seem miserable. I know they could care less but I am done with that store. Cex might not always have what you need but at least theyre polite and show courtesy.

Awful service. I had to wait for cashier who was talking with someone they were not checking out nor were they trying to help them out. At the same time the other clerk wss on the computer and could clearly see I was waiting they took a glance at me a couple of times. I have been to other gamestops where the selection is not as big but they have better service. I will never go back to this gamestop.

Great selection of new and used games, systems, interesting peripherals, and gaming-related swag.This game stop was interesting in that it had more gaming-related products like plushies backpacks, and figures than most other gamestops.Generally at gamestops the store employees are also gamers and are generally very friendly and helpful. The employees working when I visited today were a little more unprofessional than I am used to, but it might just be an isolated incident.All in all, Gamestops ate always worth a visit.

The price tags in the store are not updated so you might be paying more for what the actual prices are if the sale price is still on the merchandise. Also, this store sells items for more than what other stores and GameStop. com sells the same item for. They will not match their online price or their local stores prices either. The store is not well kept; often makes it difficult to find what youre looking for.This is probably the worst GameStop and least favorite store I have been to. Dont think Ill ever return to this location.Do research before buying here. Youll often save at least $10-20 more.
