Khanh was incredible! She was so patient and helped me ensure that I was happy with the frame and lenses I chose. She was very considerate of my budget and I was able to get frames and lenses within my price range. I have had poor experiences in the past at other eyewear stores (not LensCrafters) where staff have tried to talk me into purchases I was not ready to make, and the experience here was the complete opposite. I left here feeling very satisfied and happy with my purchase. I would highly recommend LensCrafters & working with Khanh!

I lost my glasses at 5 PM and had a flight early the next morning. They were more than accommodating and got me my new glasses by the time they closed at 6 PM the same day! Really went above and beyond and I’m so grateful!

The staff at this location was awesome I had such a great time picking out 2 pair of new glasses I would recommend anyone to come to the Newbury street location. Make sure u see Khanh, Tania and Rojae. Rojae was the one who took care of me but they all did a wonderful job at assisting thank u LensCrafters.

Excellent service. I had broken my silhouette frames and though I did not buy them at Lenscrafters, the technician repaired them for a fair service fee in a timely manner, saving my weekend. The repair was done very skillfully; these frames scratch easily and a lot can go wrong while working on them, but they were returned to me in perfect condition.Definitely recommended for those who wear silhouettes.

She took the time to show me the large selection and take as long as needed for me to make a decision. Went here on a super busy Saturday but still had an amazing experience thanks to my new favorite optician, Khanh. She somehow helped me and two other people at the same time and I was out of there with a smile on my face and a fresh pair of frames on my nose ready to enjoy the weekend!

The optician manager, Stephen Tierney, helped me adjust my glasses and explained the issue I was having with my glasses even though I did not buy them from LensCrafters. I came in expecting to pay a fee for the service, but he said it was a free service. I was not expecting that and offered to pay but he said just recommend LensCrafters to others. So I will be back and I recommend LensCrafters.

First time writing a google review as we felt compelled enough to share how positive our experience has been at this Lenscrafter location.  Specifically, wed like to commend its licensed optician Khan who deserves a special shoutout for her professionalism, utmost patience, and excellent attention to details.  All three of us bought glasses last year at this store with Khans help, and when we bought again this week there was no question in any of our minds that wed come back here because of her.  While the location and wide selection are also great, Khan is by far the biggest reason we keep gravitating towards this store.  She is a definite asset to the Lenscrafter franchise.

I’m from PA and I live near multiple LensCrafters, and I’ve never had such a nice experience at one. I’m on vacation with my family in Boston and I happened to damage my glasses. I was also in need of new glasses, so we went to LensCrafters and decided to kill two birds with one stone. We talked to Khanh, a supervisor who could not have been more helpful. She fixed my glasses expertly and even cleaned them afterward, and helped me pick good frames and solid lenses for my next pair. Her help was invaluable and saved our vacation. If you need good help, ask for Khanh‼️‼️

I walked in after my eye exam at the same location. Having been a LensCrafters customer for several years, I had some standard expectations as far as pricing was concerned. Typically, my vision insurance covers the lenses and a good portion of the frames, even if they are brand name frames. I came in with a few different coupons and the vision insurance I have used with LensCrafters for years. After browsing the store and making my selection, the location’s team lead rang me up. The employee wanted to charge me over $600.00 and said that they had already included my vision benefits and the coupon I had brought in. I was shocked. After asking again, as to whether or not they had included my vision insurance and the coupon I had brought in, I knew I was being ripped off. I decided to leave and go to another location, where, after choosing frames of the same value, I was told that the entire transaction would amount to less than $130.00. This location is not worth a visit. One employee there provided good customer service, but provided no assistance when the team lead decided to charge about four times what I was charged at another location a week later.

I appreciated being able to take my time to choose my frames. I was dreading this part because Im extremely picky when shopping. Being told I could only choose 5 frames (because of COVID) added to my anxiety. In the end, I bought the first one out of the 5. The associate took her time and explained to me what I was purchasing and even walked me through it before completing the purchase. Very pleased and satisfied!!

This location is amazing. It’s super clean and they take covid-19 seriously. Allieya checked me in and she was so patient and sweet. She took her time and I didn’t feel rushed. After I had my eye exam I was able to choose my frames in the main store which is on the street level. That’s where Sayma helped me choose my frames. She was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Again I didn’t feel rushed. This was my first time ever needing glasses. And they made my first time memorable. Great customer service to match a great location.

Terrible service, horrible customer experience front to back. After waiting a half hour in an empty store, they stress tested my frames to make sure they were strong enough for a lens replacement. When I had the lenses replaced, my frames came back crooked and the associate said that she didnt want to mess with them further because the hinge is weak. This was after they didnt call me for a week after the lenses were delivered to the store (I had to call and check myself). These lenses and services are so expensive and just how little care was put into my order was disappointing to say the least, I feel like Ive been ripped off. Please support a local glasses vendor instead of giving this branch your money.

This place has the best customer service I have ever seen! I went here with my best friend during my visit to Boston 3 months ago because she needed a new pair of glasses, and the staff were incredibly sociable, genuine, and helpful. One of the staff members even cleaned my glasses for me and gave me some towelettes to bring back home, and I didnt even ask. They all clearly knew their stuff and were so informative and honest, and they werent pushy or annoying at all. Plus my best friend loves her new glasses! I highly recommend checking this place out if you are looking for new glasses.

I called LensCrafters on Newbury Street and spoke to a very nice associate named Ellen. I explained to Ellen that I had previously purchased glasses but they were now in bad shape and needed to get a new pair. When I got there, Ellen was beyond accommodating. She was pleasant, patient, and more importantly, fixed my glasses. I told her that I need to get two more pair and she didnt try to up sell me but showed me two pair that were affordable and fit the bill. Im a true believer in customer service and today I received above and beyond treatment. Thank you Ellen for a wonderful experience.

They are as great as the other reviewers say. Had an absolutely amazing experience visiting them and ordering new Rx shades. The only lensrafters store in Mass that has a great selection of Gucci glasses. Ask for Dimaris, knowledgeable, fast and down to earth professional with absolutely no pressure to buy. Thank goodness for how well-managed this place is! Between the efficient, optician to the patient, knowledgeable staff on the floor, I was able to get a pair of reasonably-priced glasses lickety-split, after breaking my old pair just prior to a trip. They didnt carry either of the brands that make ultra-lightweight frames I can wear for prolonged periods, but since they are by small companies independent of the umbrella that includes most chains and brands, that wasnt a surprise.

I bought very fashionable reading glasses from an array of options. Very friendly and knowledgeable service.

The customer service at this location is excellent. Ive mostly worked with Williams, but everyone is competent and patient. They let me take a long time to pick out frames and really worked to make sure the glasses and the price worked for me. I had to go in for several adjustments in the first week, and they tried different things to make sure the glasses were comfortable.I was in the store to get my frames tightened last week and I was also so impressed when I saw Williams and Naome handle a very difficult and mildly threatening customer with SO much patience and grace. They didnt get flustered and the customer actually left wishing them a nice day.

I will not be coming back to purchase glasses at this store. It took almost 3 hours to get help and check out with my glasses. Upon telling the store clerk that I didn’t want a protection plan on my glasses she still tried to sneak it in for me to pay for them. I went to pick up my sunglasses today and was told previously that they need to be polarized (these are ray bans) to get a specific purple blue ombré on my lenses. When I got them today they were completely blue and not what I was promised. Three hours wasted, over $700 wasted on two pairs of glasses. Can’t wait to return EVERYTHING and go back to Warby Parker for glasses and order these ray bans on MY OWN because clearly their workers don’t know how to correctly order their customers’ glasses. I don’t suggest you getting your glasses at this place. Take your money elsewhere!

I have had great experiences with LensCrafters for years and want to give a shout out for their excellent service and customary relations. This weekend (the long Columbus Day weekend) my glasses broke (after not having had any problems for years). I was in despair as it was Saturday and I expected everything to be closed on Sunday and Monday. Not only was LensCrafters on Newbury Street open; they repaired my glasses in an hour and a half and didnt charge me a dime. Every person i spoke to in the store was kind and courteous. The technician did a super job - i was only sorry i didnt get her name! Huge thanks to everyone.

I had never worn glasses in my life. Now I need them and the transition wasnt easy. The doctors, two exams, prescriptions didnt work. Gerry worked with me and worked with me until it was right. Now I cant live (or see) without them. Thank you.

I have been a customer of Lenscrafters in Canada and the USA for 15 years. A female store market manager of Asian descent was incredibly curt and rude to my girlfriend who was inquiring about obtaining a new pair of glasses and new sets of contacts. Despite the fact that my gf had a prescription done less than a month before we walked in (from a very reputable medical facility in Doha, Qatar), this employee repeatedly asked with a smirk, where this place is, was dismissive of questions regarding price, and refused to even look at a student insurance form. She eventually (reluctantly) quoted a price of $400 dollars - not including $150 for an appointment just to get a contact prescription - even though she was presented with two perfectly valid prescriptions! I do not know if this was a racist encounter, or just a very cruel person having a bad day. Regardless, we will not be returning to this store. Better to go to a place like Kenmore Optical, where people actually seem to care, or to try out another branch of Lenscrafters.

A lady who works here was very rude and rushed the repair work for my glasses. I was not surprised when my glasses ended up being worse than before. Will make sure I never go here again.

Why would you guys try to sell me $350 lenses that had issues and a $340 scratched frame that was on display? Dont treat people like that. we do respond.
