I just got my lenses fit a few days ago. Both Drs were very nice, I was a little nervous at first but they made the whole process so much easier and faster. They were very friendly and they very thorough with the prices. Thank you so much :)

First off I would like to say that I love this place! I had a great experience here. All of the staff is very friendly and professional. Briana was amazing and helped me pick out a pair of glasses I would have never picked out for myself. I tried them on and I immediately fell in love with them. She was great because I never step out of my comfort zone. I’m so happy she helped me because the glasses fit so well. I was there on Friday and I was able to pick them up on Monday. What a quick turn around because usually I wait forever for glasses! All in all I’m overly pleased and I will be coming back again. You won’t regret coming here. Everyone from the receptionist to the eye doctor is great. If you want fast and professional service well Pearle Vision Government Center is the place to go to!!

Not really a fan of this place. Went for an eye exam and the woman eye doctor took me down into their basement office for exams and rattled on how she knew I was only here to get a new prescription because mine was outdated. I had never said that and my purpose was for an actual exam to check on the health of my eyes and vision. The exam maybe took 15 minutes when Ive had previous eye exams at other places spend their time with me and more around 45. Now this may work well for people who are in a rush who dont actually care about their eye health but I felt like I was gyped out of some important eye exam items (not sure if they do the full exam here).When I went back to look at glasses, the associate was very helpful when looking at pairs. She spent her time and was helping me pick a frame that fit my face well. She was also a good salesman in that she was trying different sales techniques on me to try to get me to commit to a pair. However I didnt find a pair I loved so I went to a few different eyeglass stores to look at their offerings. I noticed that the glasses at Pearle Vision were about $70/pair higher than other glasses stores nearby. Not sure if its because their premium location or something else. So when I found a pair I loved somewhere else, I called Pearle Vision to have them fax my prescription over to them. The woman on the phone was very rude to me and offended that I would go somewhere else to buy glasses after having my exam there and then she hung up. She didnt fax the prescription over so the place where I got the new glasses from had to call her again. They also mentioned that she was quite rude to them too.Was turned off by the whole experience. Not sure if it was a fluke as I see there are a lot of positive reviews but in my experience, I will likely not be back.**Would like to update and say Dr. Doug with Pearle Vision did call me immediately after my review was posted to apologize and try to fix the problem. He wound up offering some free contacts as an apology. Really appreciate his quickness and attention to try to rectify the situation!**

Dr. Mamber was efficient, professional, caring and personable.Tiffany helped me with glasses fitting, taking care to sanitize every pair of frames and keeping all of us safe at this Covid time. The entire office helped with my glasses choices, including sunglasses and regular glasses with patience, humor and success. I love my choices!

I just had vision check with Dr. Eva Mamber. Everything about the visit, eye exam all was good except the prescription. Doctor used heavily illegible Doctor Font to write my prescription. While validating my prescription, when I asked is this a 2 he said no it is 1. When I asked is this a 7?, He said no it is a 2.This is not me having vision problems. This is irresponsible use of un-readable Doctor Font. People who are reading the prescription can easily interpret the digits incorrectly due to this style of careless prescription writing. When I asked him about it, he said, dont worry the person upstairs selling the frames can read my prescriptions. But what do I do with this prescription when I have to order a frame from a different location?This is how basis for medical errors take shape. This is my first single star review for a doctor on Google. I am doing this to to gain attention of not only Dr Mamber, but also the medical community. Please abandon the Doctor Font and embrace legible prescription writing. Dont play with patients eyes and health.Have a great day!

Small store where you can buy glasses and get your eyes checked. The exam room is downstairs and all the staff were friendly when I came in for a routine appointment. Dr. Mamber was thorough, efficient, and kind during the examination. They will even give you your PD (pupillary distance) if you ask them upstairs!
