Great store! Easy to quickly get in and out without a wait because they have self checkout machines. For an introvert its nice not having to deal with other humans!
The staff at the Krogers liquor store are extremely unprofessional. The two employees looked like teenagers and acted like three year olds. Very rude and immature. Not much more to say other than I will not be a patron of this store in the future. How sad.
I regularly shopped at this Kroger over 2 years ago, and this was my favorite Kroger, and store in-general, that I ever had the pleasure of shopping at.
Bowling Green, Ohio Kroger Market did not have .37 cents in change at a manned register. So that makes the cashier a hier.I left my purchases of $12.63 at the checkout and left.I decided to go back an hour later and get the same items. I went to non-human automated checkout. Ran my items through, paid with cash and lo and behold, the machine was perfectly capable of dispensing .37 cents.Bottom line... there is no shortage of coin. There is a desire to reduce labor costs.
Great customer service, great produce and meat department, staff is very friendly and helpful.
Great selection of organic and gluten free foods. Nicely laid out, attractive and clean. Short checkout line.
I feel that your website needs completely updated. I typed in 2% milk for price check. And it said it had no results. So I typed in milk and it only showed organic individuals, coconut and soy milks. This isnt the 1st time Ive tried searching for items and it doesnt show what Im looking for. And I know you carry the item.
I came into this location for the 1st time to pick up a couple things. When I went to check out the cashier had a nice face mask on and upon complimenting her she offered me a homemade mask...for free. I am so appreciative and thankful. She is a keeper.
Im so disappointed in the Bowling Green, Ohio Kroger! After waiting and looking around for someone or something to disinfect my cart. I went to the service desk to ask for help. After taking his time the boy told me he doesnt have anything to clean with and all the carts are cleaned! I told him while looking for disinfectant I watched two people return their carts! He just looked at me rolled his eyes and walked away!! We really need to work together to get through this! I wont be back!!
Just had the worst experience at a grocery store I’ve ever had. Rude cashier at self check out, then waited half an hour in line for the pharmacy to tell me they forgot to fill my prescription and would have to come back and wait in line again because of their mistake. Am now sitting in line behind one car for the last 15 minutes. Terrible service all around
I avoid this store as much as I can, Ive finally been driven to write a review. If you need something from both the liquor store and the grocery store be prepared to wait in line twice, once at the liquor store and a second time at the grocery checkout. While at that grocery checkout, Id suggest you *NOT* try to be environmentally friendly at either the self-check or standard check out lanes. At the self-check the machines freeze when you put your own reusable bags on them (Ive used multiple, this is consistent across all machines), and it takes quite some time to get the attendant to look away from their co-worker or phone and look at the customer. I have also used reusable bags at the standard check out lanes and can tell that the cashiers find the request to be incredibly annoying.I avoid the produce all together. Most of the produce has been frozen somewhere along the way - cucumbers, onions, potatoes and more have a weird squishy feeling to them that fresh produce should not have. I have gone through a pile of moldy shallots multiple times (and received rotten shallots in a Click List purchase) and have seen moldy lemons as well. The store is set up in a way to try to trick customers into purchasing unnecessary items, not to effectively help the flow of customers. As such, youre running in to other customers and their carts and children constantly due to the over-filled and extended end caps and merchandise stands. Additionally, they push their store-brand items so much, Im beginning to notice that other name brand items are getting harder and harder to find. Two stars as they usually have most of the items I need.
I like Kroger but could you guys figure out a way to change your Kroger plus number when checking out? My phone number was accidentally typed in incorrectly but because I already pressed enter by mistake, the cashier told me nothing could be done except maybe talk to customer service. Thats fine and all but this seems like something that should have an easier fix...
I selected 5 bottles of wine (nothing else) and headed for the self-service checkout area. As I scanned the first bottle, and as I expected, the machine indicated that my age needed to be verified. A young attendant approached and stated that he had to verify that I was old enough to purchase wine. Since I am 80 years old, I chuckled and said you are kidding, and proceeded to scan my second bottle. He stopped my scanning and stated it was store policy to verify all purchasers (of alcohol) ages. I told him I thought that was an absurd policy and I was not interested in purchasing wine from an establishment with such a policy.I doubt Kroger cares about the lost a sale of approximately $100 and the lose of a regular customer of 42 years.
This Kroger is pretty awesome. They were giving out free samples and I had a pretty large group with me. We bought all the things we sampled to because they sold it so well. This place dank.
I have visited many Kroger stores throughout the U.S.A. and I am proud of our Bowling Green store. We have the best in everything. Nobody beats our meat and seafood selection. We have the best choices in produce and organics that I have seen. Our dairy selections are far better than other stores and lets not forget our floral department compared to others. Its a blessing to have our Kroger store and after being in other states, I appreciate ours Alot more.
I love the new bigger store. Today I had a special order for the sushi bar, all eel. The young man fixed me right up.I couldnt find the Angus Whole Beef Tenderloin that was on special for $9.99/Lb and the Woman behind the meat and seafood counter came out and showed me where they were in the regular center aisle of meats. When I needed a bagger to come out with me to load groceries into my truck, the young lady would not accept a tip from me! I wish you would let them accept gratuities if offered and Ill tell you why. Four years ago I had to go on disability. Social Security Disability and a second 100% Service Connected Disability from the VA. The VA disability is more than I ever made in any of the 41yrs of working. I felt tremendous guilt for getting that much money while my friends continue to live paycheck to paycheck. So I decided to pay it forward. I treat my friends to lunch or dinner at local restaurants, buy practical things I know they need, fill-up their gas tank and I always over tip. I pay it forward.
Im impressed every time I enter the store with the scope of items in one place. Ordered Sockeye salmon from a very helpful associate, and the freshness of the salmon made for an excellent meal later. The size of the store makes it a long walk for several items. I wish they had full service checkouts in all areas of the store.
Molly and that one guy from customer service with the glasses and dirty-blonde hair are so nice! I had lost my phone and they went all over to help me find it! As you can tell, we found it.
Beautiful store, everything you need is here. I could spend hours in here. Staff was very friendly, store is very clean. Great beer and wine selection plus a nice bar area.
Ive always loved this store and prefer to shop here. I appreciate that there is a wide variety of organic produce and products available. The only thing that drives me nuts every time I shop here is the amount of plastic bags they use! I bring my own bags and the baggers have no idea how to bag and use up all the room and they pretty much put every last item left over into its own Individual plastic bag. Usually I have enough of my own bags for everything I buy. I’ll just bag my own groceries next time I guess.
Getting like Walmart in forcing you to self checkout. 3 regular lines open and bunches of self checkouts. I had 4 items and didnt want to self checkout. 3 registers were were slammed with full carts. I had to wait for help to fix the self-checkout.
Very Nice Store
It is a little difficult to navigate the store right now. I am excited to see the improvements once the whole store is remodeled. It looks great so far. I love the additions like the olive bar and the wine bar.
Best Kroger Ive ever been to! Amazing deals at the bar and throughout the store! Jeff is the best bartender, so friendly and very helpful!
Between stocking shelves during a busy time and the personal shoppers I couldnt even get to the products I wanted.they really really need to do something about the personal shoppers, Im thinking about changing grocery stores for the first time in over 25 years. Plus I like to bud their whole wheat bagels but theyre only stocked about 30% of the time.
By far the best Kroger I have ever visited. I have to thank each employee we have encountered, specially Brady and the other guy working at patio section. I just wanted to buy a patio table and ended up buying 4 chairs and an umbrella. They were extremely helpful, and they even helped us to load them in the car.i have to mention that it was 100 degrees today, and they were out all the time in the hot weather, and even said it was their pleasure to put up with me changing my mind like hundred times. I was just passing by, but usually I go to Kroger in Dearborn who have the worst attitude ever, not to mention that they have absolutely no idea about the items they have in store. Thank you again .
Ive been shopping at this location since the early 1990s and still appreciate and love it today. Theyre selection is constantly refreshing and the recent remodel has brought in a lot of new fresh options that I definitely love. While its true that Walmart often beats them in price, they offer better brands, better fresh options, and the service is far better. Some of the folks have been working there as long as I can remember and are dependable, friendly faces. I have moved to Weston and so dont visit nearly as often anymore, but I do prefer to shop here over my other options in town. The new additions are great and the whole store is less crowded and easier to shop. Im also very excited to try their grocery pick up option (Ive used this service before when I lived in the DC area and am happy to see its arrived here) as I do really love this option for as a monthly staples stock up.
Great place to shop. Prices vary by sale but overall atmosphere is fantastic. Also cant beat .25¢ wine tasting
Its was pretty cool they actually had a little bar inside Krogers while your significant other shops u can watch some TV and have a few, always great prices. Been shopping at Krogers for over 30 yrs I was 7 when I made my first purchase there!😉
The automated self checkout is still a bit off and pushy and the location of items still seems a bit staggered and random(i.e. people tend to look for gallons of orange juice by the gallons of milk but i realize the marketplace is new :). Extremely kind and helpful staff. However, I was surprised that there was no car air conditioning refrigerant recharge in automotive in June!! But ya cant have it all i suppose ;). Good job K-Rog.
I love the new and improved store. Wonderful floral department, deli, produce, and organic selection. Has a bar and a pretty good selection of beer. Friendliest staff in BG.
Wonderful place. Have great products available and great food.
Store policy is to id everyone in your party who looks under 40 if you are buying alcohol. So at nearly 40, while buying groceries, I was told we couldnt buy alcohol because my girlfriend didnt have id on her too. I had id and was paying. This store policy that literally makes going to the store less convenient. I will stick with Meijer, who does act ridiculously draconian.
I generally like Kroger, its more expensive but has the varieties I prefer. Picked up a snack pack of chips and hummus today, July 25th. They were awful. First nibble of a chip told me the were very stale, but not HOW stale. I look at the date on the sticker... Sell by July 4th! Number still very legible and doesnt look like any are faded or missing. I walked off without my receipt but might try returning them later since I used my Kroger card. I also have to mention that their salad bar hasnt looked appetizing for months. Its like the fresh vegetables have been frozen. Ick, no thanks.
I love this store for special items. I never get a full week of groceries. But, I do love many things they offer. The bakery is great. They have danish pastry that remind me of old school elephant ears I had as a kid. Not the pizza dough kind you find at the fair. Its not bad. But, the classic pastry elephant ear is devine. I dont usually buy store brand food, but they have they cheese puffs and they are addicting. Way better than cheeetos. They are like 4 bags for 5 bucks. Super cheap. Other bakery faves are the whipped iced strawberry cake. Also they have iced sugar cooking I bought all of these things today. I used to be annoyed about having to carry a Kroger card or pay a lot more. But, I just make sure its in my wallet. It makes a difference. Shopping with no card would get very pricey. This store upgraded to a super Kroger and its pretty great I havent checked out the different parts yet. I go in with a mission and leave. In the future I will go off path.
Everything you could want for groceries under one roof. Staff is always friendly. And theres a bar which is a definite plus.
Always amazing. Good food. Good prices. Cant beat the Kroger plus card pricing.
Fresh produce and love the new expanded pharmacy. Just ran in for a quick stop to pick up a few items.
Took my Daughter & boyfriend shopping & Im glad I did cause they had last weeks free candle. Nice store.
Always enjoy shopping at Kroger, the staff are kind and helpful .did not appreciate the marketplace after the remodel, but they did a great job. Love it!
My go to for food shopping. Even bought some workout clothes recently. They are so so, but i spent about 1/4 of what i would have spent on sports apparel at a sporting goods store...so there is that.
This new Kroger is awesome 👌, a one stop shop and many offered conveniences such as click list, curbside picked up make it the best in town 👍👍👍
Found some great Ugly Sweaters 1/2 off! Nice welcoming Store.
Staff is always very friendly and helpful. The store is very clean. I made a grocery trip with my daughter today and managed to lose my phone somewhere between the checkout and my car. When I went back inside to ask about it, I was amazed how everyone sprang into action. The person at the service counter, the U-scan cashier, baggers and at least one other employee started looking immediately. One if the baggers eventually located it. Im very grateful because Im one of those people who cannot function without my phone (who can these days??). Ive seen the same friendly faces for years when I go in and it will continue to be my store of choice.
I have never had worse experience at a grocery store. Just a normal Friday night and the store is completely understaffed. One register open and four self-checkouts. I counted 34 carts in front of me and the line wasnt moving. I asked three different employees if management was aware of the issue and they all said I dont know or they all went home. Not one said sorry for the issue. I finally left my cart and went home.
I love the people here. They are so nice
Love the new setup! Especially the wine bar. Very knowledgeable and kind.
I wish you offered E-85 at the gas station. Meijers is the only one in Bowling Green that offers it. Posting the liquor store hours on google would be very helpful! I can not even find the hours on your website?
Its Kroger. Decent prices, usually friendly workers. Love that its unionized.
New store is beautiful but was better before. Now features overly expensive clothes and confusing aisles. They also got rid of organic section, which where I primarily shopped.
Love this store! Employees are awesome! Great place to shop!
Very helpful staff. Large store with plenty of selection. Reasonable price.
Quality of store took a major dive after they completed renovations. Ive been offered free pork cutlets for unknown reasons. Ive had ground hamburger bad the day after I bought it. I usually shop at night, and after 9pm there are no managers on duty. None. I specifically asked. They have one register open at night, and a long line of customers at the uScan. Its been this way for the last three trips in a row Ive made there. Item location is all over the map; refrigerated health foods like tofu are in the middle of the juice isle, for some reason, two or three aisles away from produce. Dry health foods are over by produce. Health juices like kombucha are over on the other side of produce, in a refrigerated cooler. Youre on your own looking for products, because of poor staffing. When youre ready to go because youve found what youre looking for (or given up, as I have on various items on multiple visits), you then get the privilege of waiting too long to pay. Then you get to play roulette with whether or not the perishable food you paid for will be edible. Used to be a good store (even during remodeling), but after that, something changed. Needs to have its staffing decisions reevaluated.
Pizza would be good if they didnt put so much sauce on the pizza.. the cheese just falls off. Way to much, especially when I ask to go light on the sauce and cheese. Also its a personal size pizza dont cut it up for a two yr old. Cut it in quarters. 20 mini messy bites. Your new store is awwsome.
They are always so helpful and friendly here. They go out of their way to help me cuz I use a scooter. The prices are going down also so it compares with Meijer but the quality is superior in their store brands.
Im 6 glasses of wine in boys im about to go get some mf fried chicken truck ya kroger is lit!!!!
BG kroger is awesome! Love how helpful the employees are. Love how clean it is. I truly enjoy shopping there.
Huge Kroger that has almost anything you could possibly need. Kroger is buying everyones liquor licenses but doesnt have much of a variety in their store which was disappointing.
Usually give 5 stars, but not today. Ran in for salad bar today, no ranch dressing available. At all. Major inconvenience. Especially for per pound pricing. Not a happy customer today :(
We love this place and everyone that works there is sure nice and helpful
This is the place I love to shop, its right on my way home and the produce is top notch all the time!
Nice place but the prices are a little bit higher than Walmart . They usually have fresh vegetables and organic good though
Love how clean and friendly the associates are. And earning fuel points are so helpful.
Nicely organized and great selection. Great deals with your Kroger card
Since the remodeling it is the only place I shop. The bar inside is a great addition with local craft beers
Best. Produce. Ever. Great presentation. Definitely the best spot for groceries.
Very nice store. Clean and easy to find what I need.
Very clean store, easy to find items and friendly service!
I dont but they make a lot of mistakes there The people that they hired Dont keep.what there doing
The new store is looking great. Always has great produce and meats!
The new store is beautiful and organized but so huge I cant find anything!
Actually a pretty nice Kroger. Good layout, nice produce, and friendly employees.
Fabulous selection for everyday or any occasion or for travel food. I was driving 1,000 miles with special dietary needs and they made my trip a pleasure.
Great variety of items, especially produce. Newly remodeled, clean, and a dream to shop at :-)
My discount didnt come off. Found out the the phone number the lady put in was wrong. Need to check all of my receipts. I will change it myself !!
Love the selection, but prices can be a little high.
Huge store. Clean ans bright. Helpful staff.
Grocery store small enough to navigate but big enough for lots of options.
Everything you need plus some. Nice new store with tons of stuff.
SO ecstatic about the added sections for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and organic foods! Freshest fruits and vegetables in town, amazing amazing amazing selection of flavored waters and drinks for those of us with dietary preferences. Some of the staff are a little out of line, I.E. really youre going to go out of your way to hit on a husband (who happens to be mine) shopping with this wife and kids, and then get comfy with my kids? Be professional and do your job, dont try and do mine. Sheesh. She was rude to me too. Checkout ladies should stay in their lane, pun wholly intended. I always get rest deals with my plus card, and totally love the fuel points I can use. They rack up fast! Freebie Friday if you sign up online is wonderful too. Prices are rather steep, and certain vegetarian and vegan options need restocked promptly. More variety in the frozen options for vegan /vegetarian too, please! Such a wonderful transition from where they started. Also, staff is mostly kind. Just the two checkout girls. Two different times. Loved this older gentlemen working st night who took his time to help me find wheatgrass in any form. The staff have gotten to know my family and I and always put a smile on my daughters faces. pharmacy staff, however are rude. I opted for a different phamarcy for a reason.
I love Krogers they have everything you need
Best produce in town. All my shopping gets done here.
Good meat and produce prices higher than most other stores
Kroger is a soul-crushing experience every time. they ruined liquor purchasing in bowling green and perrysburg, and this store is a sprawling mess.
Good place to stop for groceries and drinks. The liquor store has a good selection.
Love that place, staff is so friendly and product selection is excellent.
A beautiful store. Things you cant find at a Walmart or Meijer. Prices are higher on items that CAN be found at a Walmart or Meijer.
Bread, Milk and Eggs usually least expensive here.
Super kroger just moved in. They have everything, and its super clean!
Too big, change is difficult. Great customer service.
Nice renovation. Decent price and great selection.
Still the best place to shop in town.
Great new store with wide selection and fast friendly service
Quick service! Well stocked!
